The best restaurants serving American food in South East

Just had a banging meal from here. Absolutely worth its price and wait. Staff were friendly and professional. There was slight mistake on my order but easily rectified with no drama. Now for the meal, oh my God, it was delicious. I'll be recommending to all my friends and family. Lovely juicy burger with a lovely smoky chargrilled taste. Phenomenal. I'll be ordering again. Hands down best takeaway burger I've had in the area and trust me I've tried them all. Also fully halal and will be taking my Muslim family members there.

Have visited this local restaurant many times as the ambiance and staff are all very nice. The food is generally very good as well. But a word of caution to those of you that enjoy a steak. On our last visit we ordered a 500g Chateau Briand a sharing steak for two which I have ordered many times at other venues and struggled to eat for quantum of meat. This one turned up cleverly garnished with garlic and salad leaves. Taste was excellent but I think there was only Half of the so 500g of meat we we’re supposed to get. Left the ££££ restaurant hungry bitter and disappointed. Probably will not return

We've been twice this week, it's so lovely. The decor is beautiful, the service is great and the prices are very reasonable. There is also a huge selection to choose from on the menu. The Mr Whippy ice cream is one of the best I've ever had, I would definitely recommend!

For some reason - Lord knows why - the guy who runs this place likes to hire very young girls who don't know what they're doing and seem to think you ordering a drink is an infringement on their leisure time.

Meat cannot be eaten! Do not order if you want to eat and be well.

Great service from the restaurant and quick delivery from the delivery guy's too and really enjoyed my burger and fries, thank you very much.

As fantastic as ever, hit the spot after a long day travelling. Smash burger and dynamite prawns still the top highlights in our opinion.

Thursday Oct 10th 6pm - the restaurant was 20% capacity, 80% empty. They sat us on a table in the corner. I asked if we could sit at the table facing the cathedral and they said we weren't allowed to sit there as it's £100pp. I said that's fine but we still couldn't sit there We ate at the table in the corner. Service was super slow and difficult to get the waitresses attention to order drinks. Food was good but service was painful At the end of the night we had , as intended, spent more than £100pp. Our table of 4 spent over £400 I then said to the waitress that I am disappointed that they refused us to sit there when we spent over £100pp and I was met with a gormless, careless reaction. I asked to speak to the manager to let him know but they said the manager isn't here So I'm leaving the review in the hope the manager sees it. If you're going to save tables for top spenders, at least have your front of house team try and sell it when people are enquiring. The table sat empty all night and now we will not be returning I am a local business owner with 27 employees. We dine at Socialite 4-8 times per year and normally have a 4-figure bill. This follows our previous encounter where you cancelled our reservation for 11ppl the night before we were supposed to be there. We will not be returning On your doorstep you have Sekkoya, Korean Cowgirl, The Pound, The Firepit and soon, The Ivy. You have a great view of the cathedral and the food/drinks are good but you're hiring students who lack common sense and are losing you money

It was really cool there, we were there with our language travel group, they probably rented the place for tons of money. DJ was actually strong, drinks weren't that good, well. Otherwise there is a big bar in the middle, a first floor and lots of seating. Bouncers are often unfriendly

Been coming here 25 years & as always an amazing place for great food! Delicious, tasty & value for money. Highly recommended!

We came to celebrate my brother’s 21st birthday and Sophie was a brilliant host. She was very attentive, funny and just made the whole experience for us. Everyone around the table said that she was fab! Food was great value for the price. Highly recommend :)
