Mr T's Pizza Shed in Isle of Wight

We were on holiday and didn't feel like braving the bad weather, so we ordered dinner in. The menu had a wide variety, so everyone found something they liked. Food came quickly and everything was great. Would happily order again.

We came here 2 years ago and everything we had was amazing, however this time it wasn’t as high quality. The mixed kebab was very nice but the pizzas which had been the main event for us last time were flavourless and the base was more like fried bread than pizza dough. We found it a shame we hadn’t enjoyed the food much this time as we had enjoyed it so much in 2022. Also back then they offered delivery to Ventnor where we were staying but the restaurant denied that ever being the case despite us using that service previously, which was a shame and prevented us using them further this holiday

Ordered 2 chicken kebabs. When we got home and opened them, both had such a tiny amount of chicken in them, considering we had asked for large!! All the meat was covered in burnt bits. Looked like they hadn’t cleaned their utensils in a very long time! We returned the food to them, only for the manager to say that’s how it’s supposed to look??!! And if he did us another one it would look exactly the same! No refund offered to us. We went to Chubby Chips and it looked nothing like the food here….huge pieces of fresh chicken, none of it was covered in burnt bits! That’s how you do a chicken kebab! Top notch customer service too.

We visited on tasty Tuesday a buy one get one free the pizza was very tasty good quality ingredients the staff where so friendly and it was great value for money a must visit place

Very disappointed with my chicken Shiah kebab, and what was supposed to be large, was really small.

Ordered a takeaway online. Easy to do so. We were on holiday and read the reviews and this was our pick. The food was ok. We had the steak. A little chewy for our liking but steak isn't easy to prepare and deliver to its full quality which is understandable. The chips were lovely. I wasn't keen on the bagged salad and as it was kept in the same bag as the hot food it was warm and soggy. This seems to be a thing for alot of takeaways anyway. Very pricey for the quality of food in my opinion. The burgers seem to have brilliant reviews so maybe we should of had those instead. Maybe we will try again the next time we visit The Isle of Wight

We were on holiday in Shanklin and wanted to try Mr. T's after a recommendation. We had pizza and sides and it was excellent. Lovely fresh cooked hot food delivered by a very pleasant driver. Will definitely use them again.

Stuffed crust was beautiful, spent over £30 so got a free cheesy curly fries which was to die for! Rest of pizza was so good and had kebab meat on it too which was really tasty. They really look out for their customers and are really nice people as well

I had a Mr T’s takeaway tonight and it was faultless! The food was ready really quickly and was of good quality. Friendly service too. Highly recommend.

Ordered an extra large chicken kebab with sweet chilly sauce and lemon juice. This came with salad and pitta bread. The chicken was juicy and succulent and the whole meal was extremely tasty. Would certainly recommend

Ordered a kebab from Mr T’s last night, it was delicious! The portion size was generous, the meat was nice and the pitta was tasty!

We opted for pizza and a few sides with deserts, We were served fast tho the food was all a bit bland. No real flavour and the pizza was expensive for what it was. Better places out there

I have tried Mr Ts a couple of times now as we have read the reviews but tonight we be the last time. Working in the industry I tend to be more patient and like to give the benefit of the doubt before posting a review. All feedback is good feedback but unfortunately this time it isn't! The chicken kebab is not great, you do not receive sliced chicken in a warm pitta it is chunks of something with brown soggy something! The pitta is served separately which I enjoy normally but not when it's stale and hard. You tend to wait a lot longer for delivery than a normal takeaway but you would not mind if the food was OK.

I’ve been using mr ts for about 18 months at first it wasn’t get but has improved a lot since great pizzas/ kebabs/chicken and all at reasonable prices will definitely keep using them

Tonight I had the 6oz cheese and bacon burger with salad. It was surprising fresh and really moist. One of the best take aways and really good value!

Waited an hour for 2 pizza's and 2 breaded mushrooms. When they finally arrived the pizza's were stone cold, burnt bases, and very tough. Not impressed and will not be ordering from them again for a long while if ever!!!!

We took advantage of 241 pizza tuesday. Good quality pizza, not greasy like lots of other take-aways

Stopped here to grab a quick pizza on the way back to the hotel and was not disappointed! Done the Sunday bargain deal and got a big pizza, garlic bread and fried for just under £12! Pizza was so good! Not greasy at all and cooked perfectly 👍🏻 Good value + good pizza 🍕

If you can wait over 75 mins for a very average pizza with not much topping then order from Mr T's . Also stray pineapple on pizza that was not ordered .

Arrived at our caravan and were recommended Mr Ts for Pizza. Easily ordered on line and were told as it was busy we would have a long wait. Not a problem. The wait went a little over the initial quoted time and we were quite worried when the website said that the place had closed. Phoned them up and were dealt with by a very lovely guy who apologised but that they had been very busy and our pizza was on its way. Sure enough we hade a phone call in minutes from the delivery man from the park car park with our pizzas. And boy were they worth the wait! My 9” Mr T special was arguably up there with some of the best pizza I have had in New York and it was very generously loaded with toppings. I think we will be finding an excuse for pizza again during our week here. Highly recommend and great customer service.

Used Mr T's on several occasions pre, during and post COVID-19 for delivery in Shanklin. On every occasion they supplied exceptional food. Thoroughly recommended.

Last night we ordered from Mr T's for the first time in a while. We ordered 2x 12oz cheeseburgers (one with bacon), a chicken kebab and three portions of chips and cheese.The food was delivered quickly and was hot. The burgers are good quality and moist. The chips and cheese was equally as well cooked and tasty. The kebab was nice and a good portion size.Will use again and can recommend.

I ordered a burger and chips from them tonight and I have to say it wasn’t as good as normal the burger seemed burnt and really dry it was like eating cardboard the chips were ok and delivery was ok. Sorry but will stay well clear from the burgers from now on

I've been living on the iow for just over 3yrs now,this was without a doubt the best kebab I've had on the island or for that matter anywhere else 👍

I never normally would write a review but extremely impressed with Mr T's, we had three small done kebabs and two fries and I've never had fries so fresh like this, considering we are 10 minutes from them for delivery I couldn't believe it but the fries were piping hot. The doner kebabs were to die for, the meat was so succulent and the pitta super soft and fresh, I'm thinking maybe not shop brought and actually home made like in a pizza oven? Very reasonably priced aswell. We will definitely be moving our business to Mr T's. Happy customer

We have eaten from here many times. The food is always hot, chicken cooked to perfection. Lovely friendly guys serving and cooking. Always extremely busy but have plenty of time to get your order right! Will continue to use as our local takeaway...Ian & Julie

I wish we had a place like this at home. Brilliant service, nothing too much trouble. We had half and half and added extra ingredients pizza. The Garlic Bread was a Ciabata. The choice of food was good, from Pizzas to burgers, kebabs, steaks and fried chicken. They have their own proper delivery vans not contracted. I stood and watch them prepare the meals and the phones never stopped. Recommend to anyone around the area. The food tasted very good. Not soggy.

Used Mr T's for the first time last night and was really really impressed. The burgers are really good quality, good value for money and are delicious. The donner kebab was also really good. Highly recommended.

Visited Mr T’s during my recent visit to the island and they came highly recommended by many locals. I’ve got to say I was not disappointed. The deep pan pizza’s are 5*. Well worth a visit.

We had 2 pizzas which were excellent on buy one get one free . Also had the combo 1 which was also excellent. We collected ours as it gets really busy. But good value for money.

Ordered a jacket potato with cheese and tuna, this is what I got. The potato wasn't even attached to the skin and very soggy but the potato itself was crunchy/hard and the salad I had to chuck away because it was hotter than the actual potato and was underneath the tuna on top of the cheese. Don't call it a potato bar if you microwave the potatoes for a minute or so!

After a very long day,this was the only place open to get any food. Burger/Kebab/chip shop. Food was ok. Edible if hungry. Expensive for what it is.... personally, we wouldn’t go back.

We found this place on the last day of our holiday. Ordered 2 pizzas and garlic bread all of which was very good and delivered on time. Would recommend and will return again hopefully on our next visit to the island.

Myself and my partner went here for the first time last Tuesday. We both had a deep pan Mr T's special pizza. The service was great. The guy even brought the food out to us in the car. The food was good. Its nice to have a pizza that keeps its topping on when you pick it up. The price is reasonable on a normal day but suddenly becomes a bargain on Tuesday due to the two for one deal.

On a Tuesday this excellent Pizza Hut excels itself even further by giving a 2 for 1 offer for which it has been doing for a number of years.The pizzas itself far beats the conglomerates and other independents on the island by a country mile so I cannot stress how highly I recommend this pizza pasta joint.

Ordered here last week, great food, was advised 45-50 mins on the phone but food arrived after 35 minutes. Had the ham and mushroom pizza, nice crisp base and the Topping was big and full. Partner had a British burger and curly fries. All hot and fresh. Would definitely recommend, will be visiting next time we are on the island!

Ordered 2 for Tuesday pizza special and was told 15 minutes. After 30 minutes I was told a few more minutes. Received food 55 minutes after ordering. They gave my order to someone else who called to complain wile I was waiting. Another customer returned with incorrect order while I waited. Total chaos. When we finally received food, no mention of any concessions. There is no customer service here. Don't waste your time here. Too bad the customer service is so bad because the food is decent.

Had the 2 buy one get one free pizza offer on a Tuesday pizzas were excellent with plenty of toppings. We collected ours as delivery was going to be an hour. It’s really busy here as phone never stopped ringing whilst we waited to our food which is a good sign. Definitely worth a visit.

Had a really delicious takeaway delivered promptly and piping hot. Would highly recommend the homemade coleslaw and cheesy chips

Freshly grilled with a generous fresh topping. Very reasonably priced too. Much better than anything I've ever had from a the big chain burger places. I will be going there again!

my got to when getting a takeaway.. they’re pizzas are the best pizzas I’ve had from anywhere and they arrreeee so cheap for the quality of food you get! Recommend to everyone. Haven’t had anything else from their but I rate them 👍🏽

Very busy little shop, pizza was very nice, they also sell jacket potatoes and chips etc, good choice and good prices.

We have ordered from MR T's on a number of occasions. Mostly by phone and had it delivered. On the odd occasion we've visited and collected instead. But the food is always freshly cooked to order. And piping hot. The menu is fairly extensive to cover most desires. So it's on our local list to eat from..

Have had pizza from Mr T's twice now - both times absolutely delicious. Not too salty, toppings to the edge and the cheese is of great quality. Coleslaw was delicious, clearly made with branded mayo, and the garlic bread was on delicious ciabatta bread.

Popped into MrT's for the first time! Very pleasant welcome, very clean, we had 3x 14 inch pizza's. All the ingredients were fresh, the pizza's were cooked to perfection, not nasty & greasy. The boxes were completely clean no sign of grease that you normally get with a certain brand (Who I understand are opening soon in Shanklin). Would highly recommend, the prices are very fair too. They do a fab deal on a Tuesday together will lots of other deals too. Very varied menu will will be back to try some of the other dishes soon!

I like MrT's for Pizza & burgers - quick & cost effective. Plus they deliver within a X mile radius - no point in buying a pack of 4burgers when you can buy a single one - ready to eat. Ray

My partner and I fancied pizza for dinner so my partner and I thought we would try mr t’s PIZZA shed and as it was 2 for Tuesday so we thought why not. After waiting 50 minuets they turned up with are pizzas but no bottle of drink. So they had to go back to get it, another phone call and 1hour and 30minuets later we got the drink no exaggerating! My pizza was already cold and squished and not cut. my partners wasn’t cooked properly ether. Was going to eat half and have half another time. But 70% of my pizza went in the bin,not because it was cold or undercooked but because it tasted nasty and cheap and basically had no taste or cheese!. Will never be ordering again from them. So unhappy with the service and I made that clear. They didn’t seem to care at all,just said they were busy. Go somewhere else next time. Mr t’s pizza shed can’t even cook a pizza!

When I ordered I asked to change breaded mushrooms to curly fries on the combo I was shut down straight away and was told they can't change it which was wired considering the curly fries were cheaper. I was told 45 to 1hr wait arrived 1hr and 15 mins which was funny considering everything was put in a fryer everything was disgusting the fries greasy and soggy the garlic bread was vile no flavour I had to spit it out it was that bad. I got a British burger which had a slither of bacon which had more fat the meat and harldy any cheese the sauce that came with it was horrid I wouldn't even recommend it to a homeless person who haddnt eaten in days I would give it no stars if I could.

Customer service is an absolute joke. Food is average and the wait times are long. I wouldn't recommend this place and its lucky to get the 1*. Lucky for Mr T's you have to leave at least 1* to review. Won't be returning.

Probably the worst take away we have had. We had a 14" pizza and it was absolutely terrible,like a £1 shop bought pizza and undercooked too! The chicken kebab was dry and even the chips tasted dry and old! Very unimpressed indeed.

Ordered a burger watched the "chef" take my raw burger our of the fridge place it on the grill then to use his hands to portion some chips use the phone and till handle cash cook more food handle more raw food followed by cooked food made me fill sick went across the road to the chippy instead. Think I may phone the food hygine people if it made me fill sick just watching imagine how I would have felt if I ate there!!!!!!!!!!!

After ordering my food I saw the cook take a raw burger in his hand place it on the grill then portion some chips only to then use the phone and take another order on the till all without washing his hands!!!!!

This establishment is take away only. Ordered two kebabs and chips, the kebabs were horrible, and when I got home they hadn't put the chips in! Left feeling conned.

I have never had such a poor pizza base, it was a really crunchy base and ruined the whole pizza. Pizza arrived slightly after stated time and was not piping hot, just warm. Would not return

Just finished what was probably the best takeaway burger I have ever had. I just wish that we had gone there on day one of our holiday and not the last. I would certainly have been back for seconds..

We ordered a take away from Mr t's whilst staying at Landguard Park Resorts. The food was excellent. Good variety on menu. Good value for money. The food was delivered on time to our holiday park. Would use Mr t's again.

Lovely to stroll on the pier. .great for children although can cost a lot on the machine's.great food at the entrance although nothing open on the pier which was a disappointment.Beautiful beach next to the pier for sunbathing or as we did flying a kite.

having visited previously,this time i was disappointed that the burgers were very over cooked,bordering on burnt, as I was staying near ryde it was too far to return them,

i had a take away from here years ago and it wasn't very nice, i think i had a donna kebab that was extremely greasy and slightly under done.However i had a take away from here not so long ago, and i had there version of a special kebab. chicken was tasty and was char grilled and the donna meat wasn't greasy. great improvement

Was down for a long weekend break & found a little Goldmine in the shape of Mr T'S.My family were all famished & thoroughly enjoyed there pizza's with a great choice of toppings & chicken kebabs that were done to perfection with ample of salad to enjoy with our pitta breads.Had read previous reviews about their food & must say was well impressed unlike some others.

We were on holiday round the corner and found this little place. It was a Tuesday so pizza was buy one get one free, although the prices were already very good before this. The pizza was fantastic! If we had been there longer we may have gone back to try the burgers. If were up in that area again we would definitely go back here.

Please find an alternative. Ordered "large" chicken shish. Over cooked thin chicken, tiny portion, limp salad. We waited 50 mins! not half an hour. When it finally arrived the pittas had been forgotten. It was inedible, driver collected them and returned money but charged for kids burger despite ruining our evening. Manager had zero customer diplomacy. It was then too late to order elsewhere. THINK TWICE.

We ordered two chicken shish, well we shouldn't have bothered, 3 tiny strips of chicken cooked within an inch of its life! Softy soggy tomatoes, raw unpickled cabbage, and raw beetroot. Each came with a small under cooked pitta bread! Each serving was barely big enough to feed a toddler! Maybe if we had added both kebabs together we may have made 1 full kebab. Hugely disappointed

we ordered a late last minute takeaway as we had been out all day and the kids were starving...the burgers we ordered were huge and fabulous. we were staying in sandown but the food arrived piping hot and really was delicious. we ordered from them the next day (decent food places are few and far between on the IOW, find a good one and nake use of it) the next day I had the steak..it was cooked perfectly, was tender and delicious...couldn't not fault the food we had...a range of pizza's, kids meals, burgers, steaks (coleslaw is delicious too). service was quick, friendly and polite

Don't go here or order from here at any cost. Horrible food. Really long to deliver. Burnt food. Had to put extra cheese on chips because they hardly put a handful on. Very unsatisfactory

Great food on offer, nice that its in the middle of shanklin. Get a lot for what you pay for... Just your nice, average fish and chip shop.

by the time we'd gone around shanklin chine, and stopped for a pint in the pub at the bottom of the chine, we got engrossed in the vintage arcade and by the time we came out, all the food venues had stopped serving. passed this place on the way back up to our accommodations and stopped for food. the prices were great and the food was really nice for a little burger and pizza joint, would eat here again by choice

Reasonable prices, nice chips for a kebab type shop. Avoid the spicy chicken wings, they are like the really cheap frozen ones which were slimy. I left them, and I don't ever waste food lol.

Ordered a take-away from here whilst on holiday. Staff were very friendly, food excellent and piping hot. Couldn't fault it!
