So the food. Well it's McDonald's food.that is what it is . As standard. The service is shocking. Your order will never be correct. You must check it before u leave . The amount of times, food has been wrong or not put in the bag at all. They don't ever seem to get it right. The atmosphere up there is much better than other McDonald's, mainly because teenangels don't usually venture that far away from a console.

ABSOLUTELY RUBISH!!! Waited in the drive thru for 15mins just to be told the milkshake machine and the mcflurry machine both weren't working, AT 3PM! What kind of restaurant doesn't serve drinks or dessert in the middle of the day. Awful service, no apologies!! Never going back here again, can't believe they would do this sort of thing. ABSOLUTELY DISGRACEFUL!!! NEVER GO HERE!!!!!!!

I’m from Dallas Texas and darling let me tell you this is the best mcdonald’s in the Isle of wight.. I’ve explored the whole of Europe and guys… this has to be BEST one yet.. Keep it up 😁😁😁 !!!!

Awful, they basically robbed £10 off us, we paid for food got home and it wasn't even in the bag! How could u work for a fast food place and not even get people ordered correct if they only ordered 6 things! 2 meals, 1 wrap and chicken nuggets, and u still forget to give us the sauces, and the wrap, and one of the sides!!!

Really, don’t bother ordering on line we’ve never had what we’ve ordered, items missing, totally wrong order delivered and almost always cold. A really dismal affair and it doesn’t matter whether it’s the app or Uber that you complain too or even direct to the restaurant nothing is sorted, each blames the other, shocking service all round. Last nights delivery arrived and true to form one item missing and one random item in bag. I decided to actually go to restaurant to complain and to be fair the manager(?) I spoke too was very apologetic and replaced the order, so far so good, but on getting home the WRONG chicken burger was in the bag. I give up!!!! Didn’t go back just threw it in the bin I was so over it. We won’t be ordering a delivery again we must have wasted ££££’s over the past 12 months. Oh and like us if you are wondering why you food is always cold well, while I was there last night waiting for my order a good 15 mins it would appear takeaways when ready just sit on the counter waiting to be collected by the delivery guys not under lights or ovens just paper bags sitting on a counter . . . waiting!!!!! And not one collected while I was there. My advice would be, go somewhere else the burgers aren’t that special anyway.

Lost our drive thru order, so used a post it note. Got the order wrong. 7 nuggets instead of 9 that were ordered. Young girl was rude and condescending with a load of yes yes yes yes without listening.

It is what it is. Reliable consistent food as you would expect it.

Went for a late night Big Tasty and fries takeawy, Fries had obviously been sitting around, nothing like a normal McDonald's fry and barely warm, Big Tasty came with slimy bacon (did not order a Bacon McTasty), lettuce that had gone brown in parts and again, tepid. They weren't even busy.

Drive through, ordered 9 chicken nuggets only got 8 don't think they can count or they do it to everyone and save money. Staff very helpful and friendly but be sure to look and see what you paid for is there..

Great quick service, the staff are friendly and helpful. Even when busy they get our order right even if we have to add or take things out the burgers and breakfast muffins

Greeted by staff who helped my elderly parents to a low seat very very helpful as they are in their 90s.food was hot and arrived very quickly

How hard is it to put food in a bag?

A failing branch… needs kick up the backside. This place used to sell fast food, it is no longer fast. Today, Breakfast time, both grill bays full send to wait in the car park for my food… it’s supposed to be a drive through. Lost count of how many times the milkshake machine is out of order in recent months. Don’t get me started on the fact they block a main road up for hours because they can’t get the food up fast enough.

EDIT: YOU GET THE DELIVERY ORDERS WRONG EVERY SINGLE TIME!!!! No sauces which we paid for AGAIN!! Wrong burger. Cold food. No straws. How hard is it to put sauces in with the order? Every time I order here, even when I pay for sauces, you consistently forget them. It's a burger takeaway you need sauces. McDonalds is not great without the sauces. Who's job is it to put the sauces in? Fire them immediately!

Terrible they didn't let us order when they did they refused to let us order them when we wanted to apologise they said no DO NOT ORDER HERE!

Stupid lay out traffic is queimg out onto the main road. The drive-through is like watching pain drying. It's so slow. Plus, the milkshake machine wasn't working as usual

Second time I’ve visited late at night and second time they’ve stuffed the order up, this time forgetting to put a Big Mac in the bag, previous time it was 9 nuggets, fed up with it

Easy food busy drive through helpful staff

Always check your order, we don't go here often, but when we have the order is often wrong , so items missing or order not prepared correctly.

Really nice staff, always pleasant and friendly.

It's a McDonald's, it's the same as most other McDonald's. Food was prompt and as usual as you'd expect. Staff are lovely and polite.

Burgers, we're cold. Must be a money saving thing or something. Same in all McDonald's restraunts .

Not busy 21:30 Asked Xtra Onion/Gherk on burger. Wrapper said ‘XTRA O&G’!? 5p size gherkin! 6 tiny cubes onion. Useless.

To me and the addams is going on for a bit and a few weeks ago we had the first of all a few of us 🇺🇸 and so 7th and 9th September

We stopped here to charge our car. We had a coffee and some breakfast. Staff were welcoming, no issues with our order. All good and clean.

Great place just for a bite to eat

Every time we go, they miss an item, usuallly the sauces, they hate giving sauces unless you remind them, every time we have ordered an item is missing, this time a portion of chips. Shouldn't have to check the order but if I go back I will. Every time we order a delivery the sauces are missing...... every time, even if it's ordered for pick up or on uber

Drove to this mcdonalds with my husband and son. We wanted to make 3 orders and pay with 3 different cards but have the orders come out together. Not that difficult to understand. He guy behind the counter said that wasn't possible. We explained again and again. He was quiet rude too. Decided to go in instead. Went in and the milkshake machine wasn't working AGAIN. Waste of time and petrol.

Chips were awful, parking and drive thru confusing.

Not sure were to start. Placed a order using drive though. Placed the order, and before I had the opportunity to ask for a receipt he closed the window and walked away. When I got to the next window to pickup. , the young lad said park in the car park and we will find you. So we did. 20 mins later, after seeing multiple staff handing out orders to customers in the carpark, I decided to go in. I spotted the lad that served us ,and asked about our order, he had no idea at all, couldn't find it . Asked what we ordered, and took 4 attempts to remember what I said . And still got it wrong. I didn't realise that he had spilt some of the drinks on the very small cardboard tray, so when I picked it up taking it out of the car ,yes it when all over the floor. Completely unprofessional served, rubbish standard, my god there must have been 15 staff.. why do people tolerate rubbish standards. No idea.

I’m a support worker so I drove in with a gentleman that i was supporting and I wanted to get a quick order for myself and the service user only for me to drive round twice just because they could not take two order at once. If we where five in number that means we’re have to go round for the fifth time before we can get our order sorted 😡 I think this should be looked into pls.

Very rude staff. The table was with leftover from previous customers for 15 min after we arrived and when asked for help with cleaning, the lady was like I have only two hands .

Came here with the family while on holiday, as worked out a little bit cheaper than going to a pub and or restaurant. Must say the staff were very attentive with how busy they were. Very friendly and welcoming. The music that was playing had a very nice and chilled vibe to it. Food came out fairly quickly, which was surprising as the restaurant and drive through were busy. The fries we ordered seemed to have been freshly cooked, however they were more heavily salted than my personal preference. The customised burgers we ordered were freshly cooked and very flavourful and well seasoned, which is a very welcomed change compared to some of the mainland branches we have used before. Limited amount of parking, which is something to be aware of. Would happily visit this store again because of the great service we received.

Is what expected - busy, but coping with rush

Food is adequate with minimal presentation skills. Service was like being served by a moody teenager and not even a smile. Definitely lots of improvement available to be better.

It's a McDonald's, can't go wrong until it does. Lost my order and forgot my drink but sorted with a smile. Food is always hot and as described.

Staff were extremely rude and don't order a burger without a bun if you're gluten free as it's ignored and you get a bun whether it's bad for you or not

I have to say, I was pleasantly surprised by how much McDonald's has improved recently! The food actually tastes really great. There's amazing variety... if only the ice cream machine was working all the time. That's a nightmare, but you can't win them all lol

If you want the worst mash up of everything you didn't order like cheeseburgers with mayonnaise deluxe burger with no deluxe just a larger big mac a thick shake so thin it just took a modeling job in Paris and missing items, then maybe this is for you but it ain't for me and if you order via the app best of luck complaining they'll tell you it's ubers fault despite the fact they neither cooked it nor packed and sealed it just delivered it and take it up with mcdonald's customer service who will take 10 days to tell you that after this amount of time there is nothing they can do

Very clean, very good staff all friendly.

We were a group of 20 on a holiday and wanted a trusted tasted in a new place. The service was quick n great place for kids to have fun while we fueled our selves for our time at the beach.

Service here was absolutely dreadful. Waited 20 mins for 2 meals for them to be sat waiting to be packed which resulted in them being freezing cold. Attitudes on the staff working was appalling.

Drive through service is always bad and I will probably stop using all McDonalds now as they are only doing brioche buns

Excellent in all respects. Food tasty and fresh. Restaurant tidy and clean. Staff helpful and friendly. Easy to find and good parking. All in all a good experience.

Particularly poor service from the chap manning the drive through this evening. Order was wrong and he treated us with distain for no reason. First time I’ve ever been to a McDonalds that refused to take 2 orders from one car. Extremely poor attitude and customer service and to top it all off the order was wrong. We won’t be back.

I like this macdonalds the staff are very understanding and fix any problems just need a bit more caramel on the frappes 🤭🤭

We go into eat and have a burgers with just ONION and fries.but the order is always wrong and we get all the pickle etc in it,I don't understand why it's so difficult to order just bugger with onions.well on Friday we got a small amount of onion about 3 little pieces sent it back and asked for a bit more onion only to be told you must ask for extra onion now what a rip off won't be going again.

Always nice to take our grandaughter for a treat.

The Drive-In offers quick service. The staff are always friendly and the food, well it's McDonalds, so you know it will be good

If you like cold food thrown in a bag this is the place for you. Very disappointed. I had a simple order and it was stone cold when i got it.

Possibly the worst Mcdonalds in the world, and I have eaten at quite a few all over the world. The staff are incompetent, rude and regularly make errors with orders. Take away food is usually cold. A one star rating is too much.

Nice food, but location is POOR, infact dangerous to enter due to queues entering the drive-thru and the Car Park Otherwise all fine.

Its a McDonald's so you know what to expect, service was quick and to the table kids enjoyed it, neither me or my other half eat it but the iced caramel coffee was nice.

They've done it again on the drive thru one burger short. Will have to check it everytime now. That's twice they've conned me. Funny how you never get extra only less reckon they're eating it.

Need I say more. Other than drive thru or eat in after 7pm ish, you won't get what you ordered and you won't get table service. The lady will stand at the counter shouting out your table number, and you have to collect it. Check your dips, you never get them either

I don't go to McDonald's very often now, but when I do, I enjoy the food, and atmosphere. It brings back memories of teenage years, and of my children growing up. Always find it a happy place

Always poor here. Run by kids who haven’t got a clue. Half your order will always be missing and whatever isn’t missing will usually be cold. Longest wait time of any McDonald’s I’ve ever been in. Never expect much from McDonald’s but certainly expect more than this one offers. Oh and if you order via app they will always blame the delivery company if things are missing from your order so good luck Avoid

We arrived in a large group and half the dinning area was closed so not enough seating. When I asked was told it was closed for cleaning. One member of staff reluctantly opened a large table for us.The toilet was closed for cleaning. Another member of staff came over and said we were lucky and she would not have let us in . Are you open or closed!!!!

Great place to stop off at a get a quick refill. Hot food and a great service.

This was a quiet maccers but staff are friendly and food was good.

Love coming to collect my breakfast app order and being told it’s past 11am when they took their time getting to the intercom, breakfast menu was still up and it wasn’t past 11am.

At the end of the day it's a McDonald's. What more is there to say?

Stopped off with plenty of time before going to the theatre. 3 meals , it's was quite busy, but after waiting 25 minutes, and our order number disappearing and reappearing constantly on the board, never on the ready to collect list . I had to try and get a member of staffs attention, and ask . Our meals had been sat cooked and left waiting for ages. she did apologize and quickly bagged it up , but the food was only just warm. We had to quickly eat the just warm food in the car , to make it to the theatre on time. A lot of disappointment , stress and indigestion from eating quickly. Ryde Restaurant is always normally good and fairly fast . On this occasion I feel I just waisted time and money.

Went to the counter to order a bacon roll and was told to order at the screens ,I said I have no idea how to and was told "sorry its policy" , had an attempt with the screen but could only find egg mcmuffins ,I hate egg ! Piss poor customer service which seems to be policy ,I shall not step foot in a McDonald's again ,on the bight side I left and went to Costa in tesco and got what I wanted along with decent customer service !!

About 80% of the time they get your order wrong, whether it is pick up or delivery. Missing items and not fulfilling the "customised" preferences on an item is the most common. I now double check the order before leaving the restaurant, fully expecting I will have to go back to the counter to rectify the order. Process optimisation, quality control and training is desperately needed at this particular restaurant.
