Kfc in Isle of Wight

What load of dried up Rubbish food. Worst KFC Iv ever had. Chicken and skin no flavour, chips were soft & it was all luke warm. Had the wrong sides, completely feck the order up. Looked busy in there so thought food would be fresh & full of flavour, but boy was I wrong. Best bit was the Pepsi !!!!!!!

Its been great to deliver with Uber for KFC for 4 years now! Amazing staff.

Food was ok service was shocking. Had to ask for a replacement ice cream as it was all melted and had it slammed down at me with no conversation. I did complain and manager came out but left feeling nothing will change in store tbh

Ordered food via Uber eats at 6pm, food being prepared, on its way, then cancelled finally at 9pm. Not great.

Ordered veggie rice box and not for the first time the corn on the cob was missing and wrong drink given. Thankfully checked order before going as used to them messing up so got changed.

Went there this morning before we got the ferry. Toilets were filthy, pee on the floor as well as excrement. Food was fairly warm but wrong when I complained to the manager about the food, tall chap with a baldish head & beard, he basically fobbed me off & didn’t seem to care, very arrogant & didn’t seem like he wanted to be there. I will take this higher

A wonderful store, extremely friendly staff and excellent food.

The usual standard of a KFC with staff that are ever changing, which means the service and standards are changeable too. We notice one or two long-term employees who are brilliant and help to keep KFC standards. There is a carpark, but it is often full, so you might choose to use the drive-through, which again can be busy depending on time, days, and season.

I am not joking when I say, Every single time I eat late at kfc from this place I am ill the next day, it almost as if the chicken that is available past 8pm is gone off. Also ordered through drive through last night and had my bag of food literally chucked at me through the window, he stopped and looked as if he was about to apologise and then closed the window.

The food is not good. I had a snack box. It was supposed to come with fries. It came with soggy chips which were flavoured with some spice mix and were most unpleasant. They were not freshly cooked and were hidden behind a screen so you couldn't see them before ordering. You can't call soggy chips fries. Fries are thin and crispy, not soggy and thick. That said, the staff were pleasant, parking was free and the place looked clean. Just not to my taste at all. Very disappointing. I won't be going to a KFC again in a long time!

They mess up the orders every single time I have gone here, serious management issue, sending out incomplete meals, gave me a wrap without the chicken in it today…

Ordered 12 pieces of chicken, received 11. Ordered coleslaw, received none. Good job KFC

seems to depend on who is working as to whether the food is brilliant or mediocre (as with most fast food places so you cant really complain) but is definitely more expensive than a lot of other fast food places. i love the original chicken though, and staff are friendly enough.

Absolutely the worst experience I’ve ever had in a restaurant. As a general manager my self I was absolutely disgusted in the service, the cleanliness of the staff , one member of staff wiped her noise and yawns while being served after waiting 20 mins to be served because of lack of staff , drive thru was shut with no signs or any information. Completely ignored by every member of staff including the manager, clearly more interested in closing down than running the business. Food was dry cold , chips hardly had any seasoning. Definitely a waste of money I won’t be going back to this store.

Food always nice here, staff very friendly

The fried chicken is quite greasy and overall gives a soggy texture. It usually takes a while to get an order even when it's not busy. The tables are often not cleaned.

The last time I came here was three yes ago and it was all ok. This time the service was slow, unfriendly, unprofessional. The particular man serving us had absolutely thilthy hands and nails. I was ready to leave but my husband wanted to eat! The WC are a disgrace, I am only glad I couldn't see the kitchen. This place needs a new manager who can actually sort this place out

so me and friend came here this week and suspiciously after eating our meals from here the next morning we felt terrible and had a terrible stomach so it’s safe to say i’ve gotten food poisoning from here, the absolutely disgusting standards of cleanliness are shocking, even on my bun there’s multiple miniature burn marks from where it had been through a toaster that hasn’t been cleaned in an extremely long time (photo below). so to finish off, if you want food poisoning or food that’s been dropped on the floor (as i’ve heard from others) then come on in because that’s what they do !(never go here genuinely disgusting)

WoW what the hell are you people doing there? KFC used to be a house hold name,well HERE in the states as a young man I remember KFC actually was good! Now it's Meh! ...well it isn't shepherds pie lol

Food is standard hit and miss KFC food but the staff are just... there's a terrible culture in there. Always seems to be a really contemptuous undertone from the staff. The pot belly lad in the service window this evening. Horrible grumpy sarcastic attitude. I asked if the large drink was a large and get the rudest response, then he shuts the window, turns around, they chat, the manager he and another just looking at me whilst talking. Sorry for inconveniencing you by asking a question dude. If you hate talking to customers, get a different job and stop being such a buzz kill, it's not that deep. It's just a question about a Pepsi.

A really nice KFC. The folks behind the counter are helpful and serve the food nice and warm.

Great restaurant, wonderful chicken

I felt so sorry for one of the employees having to deal with some stupid kids, one of them spilt his drink on the floor, and didn't even say anything, the employee asked them what happened, and even asked them if they wanted a new drink, but he got gobbed off at by the little gremlins, their parents weren't even there, yes I know that "I am talking bad about kids" but that's really not okay, Staff are really friendly, usually pretty clean, food is okay, I recommend the Watermelon Lime drink (if you're a person who like something with 2 flavors that isn't strong, but just right) it's nice, I personally really eat Popcorn chicken, I am autistic, so I have a HUGE Thing about tastes and textures of food and tastes of drinks, one thing I ALWAYS complain about (lol I always complain 😆) is the paper straws, when they go soggy, after the first 2 sips of my drink 😂 I mean I'm not wrong 😂 it is annoying, Anyways have an awesome day.

I've almost completely decided to stop coming to this kfc. Food is OK.But the cleanliness of the place is bad. The floors are always sticky, and the toilets are another issue altogether. The toilets in this kfc make public toilets look like luxury. They look like they haven't been cleaned in weeks. The thing is, it's obvious toilets get mucky, but I've been coming to this kfc for at least 12 years, and I've never seen the toilets even close to being clean. Staff are good. Just needs to be cleaned more often. I am more than willing to change my review if they clean the place up more often.

All as it should be. Clean tables, Clean floors, Clean kitchen, that I can see. Helpfull staff, Good location to cinema, gym, Close to town centre , Only one gripe, please sort out the coffee machine, it is often out of order and I like a cap capachino with my meal,please.

No one to take order at drive through told to drive round again, place outside is dirty even saw a rat. Food was awful and to be honest didn't fancy it after seeing state of pkace

They appear not to give you chips with your meal. Or should I say my meal, my wife got chips.

I was craving slightly undercooked chicken and boy was i happy! I got exactly what i had came for, the chicken was so scrumptious , it was exactly what i had in mind, the rush of flavours from the colonel were so underwhelming. I hate seasoned chicken so this place i will DEFINITLY be visiting again!

KFC is Kfc. Basic fried chicken. The food was standard as to be expected. The music was turned up way too load. Could not talk across the table. And the staff had the hoover out making lots of noise too. But as far as kfc goes it was ok. Wouldn’t rush back but would return one day.

Chicken has always been tender and full of flavour. The staff have always been polite and helpful. I can't score atmosphere as it was a drive through.

Quiet clean and tidy staff helpful

Ordered a delivery on 1/10/2023 for three fillet burgers meals, two children's meals it cost £44.93. It was given to deliveroo and it never arrived to my address. Spoke to deliveroo and they said they can't help me, has no proof that meal wasn't eaten or delivered. What upsets me is that your manager at your Newport branch were unhelpful, and rude. If I had the delivery then I wouldn't of visited the Newport branch to complain. Has a good will gesture I feel the manager could of compensated me with two children's meal which he didn't. Never eating or ordering here again

Food was ok but the rest of it I'll give you a penny for it

Good is usually always very hot and fresh there. Today however our chips 🍟 were cold not even warm as they made loads and left them sitting there. I told someone there that the chips were cold and they immediately changed the for fresh hot ones which was great. There were lots of chairs and tables to sit however would be nicer if all unused tables were clean as some were not clean. This place has plenty of parking spaces up to 3 hours free parking and has some disabled parking too which is great 👍🏼

I ordered the veggie burger from here and all I got was mayonnaise in my box. This is ridiculous!!!!! And when I went back to complain, the rude cashier just laughed and turned to her fellow colleagues and called me a stupid Karen!!!!!!!!

Food was nice and quickly served. Ordered through drive thru, there was about 5 vehicles in front and took about 5-10 minutes to order then few minutes more to get order. Staff were pleasant, and order was all correct. Food was lovely and well portioned. Served quickly considering the eat in also seemed busy.

ok so i got the vegan/veggie burger, had to wait like i normally do which is fine because they normally don’t get very many of those ordered so have to cook a new batch or something, but i open the box only to find my burger is missing a bun 😂 when packing it up how do you forget the other bun? very awkward trying to eat it in the dark in the car too as it was my dinner lol

The place was filthy and no tables had been cleared, bins were full and trays with rubbish on were mounted on top of the full bins, ladies toilets floor was flooded with water, there wasn’t many customers in the restaurant, wouldn’t return to this KFC.

Cold food, unattentive staff, I felt like they didn't want to serve me. The floor was dangerously greasy, slipperyand there was no wet floor sign. Bottled drinks were warm and the chicken pieces were tiny. I honestly feel like I've been ripped off.

I can honestly say this is one of the best KFCs in the UK, the staff are so friendly and helpful which is very rare in my experience in other KFCs, which makes it so much more appealing to go to KFC in Newport IOW but (more importantly 😉) the food from this KFC is the freshest and tastiest we know, in fact; as a family we talk about our one KFC takeaway we’re all looking forward to when we visit IOW every couple of months. We live less than 5 minutes away from a KFC in Surrey and we would drive away to avoid our local KFC!

Excellent hot food and very quick service, it was a good place to stop whilst waiting for my ferry back to Southampton.

Purchased a bargain bucket and Two sides of corn. Got home.Plated up . Three meals. Edible. . Chips ok. Corn ok. We all found the chicken was a very dark brown colour ( possibly over cooked.) The KFC taste was missing. The chicken was very greasey Evidence was left on the plates. Not a nice meal at all. Will think twice before going there again.

I was absolutely disgusted in the extremely long cue of customers,2 staff members behind counter busy, people waiting at the till were ignored. the drive through was busy, the takeaways were busy, the restaurant was a mess and dirty, no tables clean or tidy, no staff out the front doing any cleaning or sanitising, tables, floors full of rubbish, I watched one customer ask for sanitizer and he cleaned his own table before his family could sit down to eat. One member of staff seemed like a manageress speaking to other staff rudely infront of customers. The price has gone up and the service has gone down. Very disappointing!

Food was really nice unfortunately the cleanliness of the place was not. I asked if someone could wipe the table and chairs for me as they were covered in food only to be told the cleaner was being basically too lazy to do it. I asked for a cloth to do it myself to be told that it wasn't allowed. I visited the toilets after my food low and behold no toilet tissue when I told the man in charge he just banged his head on the counter in despair. Shame the food was very nice.

A positive review for a great food collection experience - I hadn't ordered from the app before, but it was simple to do and then we just drove up to the drive through with our number and the food was prepared for us there and then. Freshly cooked and good portions too.

Typical KFC food , still nice , but it's situated in an industrial area, and sometimes it can feel a bit messy out side . Other than that it's a medium to nice place to go .

Tills never have receipts, orders take twice as long as you would expect, never clean inside with tables often all covered in mess.

Impersonal staff, not rude or anything but totally unengaging. NO SALT for my chips! Chips with no salt is just wrong.

It's the only KFC on the Isle, of which the family doesn't get repetitive stomach aches. We guess the Sandown branch isn't as busy. Hence, the oil or chicken is old at Sandown. Recommendation, for Newport KFC. Need to wipe down the tables and empty the bins more often; they're busy.

Food tasted a little stale, especially the fries. Nice location next to the cinema and next to the town centre.

Is a good KFC not too small or too bug has machines and can speak to people too if wanted

It's OK, I'm guessing you know what KFC tastes like. Still haven't fixed the hand dryer after 18 months, chicken is often a bit soggy. Lost 2 stars because the hand dryer is still broken and the new chips are still terrible Gained a star because the service was very fast last time. Did have to be reminded to pout the drinks.

Filthy tables, hideous music, very loud and chaotic. Slow service. Prices have shot up. Pay more staff, get some cleaning done!

Listen here you jumped up little mongs, this was probably the best kfc Iv ever had, the hot wings were huge, the zinger stacker was on point and the other 3 people said their meals were spot on aswell, come to London and see how crap they are there, just thrown in a box and 9/10 the order is wrong… tbf the gravy was weak but that’s minor

Got a kids bucket meal, 3 chips in the bottom of it. Joke. Partners meal also had no chips. So ate what we had, whilst I cooked oven chips. The drinks where nice at least. Advise on checking your own food before you leave to ensure everything is present. Won't bother to return in the future. Perhaps pay your staff a better rate of pay and they may feel more obliged to carry out their duties.

Two cups of hot chocolate for £5:78 and only half full. I would have returned to get the other half, but unfortunately no time.

Food was good and service was ok, but I think that the staff need to work on the cleanliness of the store where the public sit to eat and also the toilets were in very poor state even though there's signs up saying that they are regularly clean, when it's quite clear this is not the case.

Take away was fillet meal but I received a spicy burger not great to be fair.

Second time in a couple of weeks I've been missing items from their drive through. First time I paid for a large meal and got home it was a normal. tonight I ordered a mighty bucket for one got home and no chips at all!! won't bother with this place again
