Only came here for a quick bite but the staff were super lovely, they advised us of the wait time before being seated which is great and Leila at the tills was super friendly and welcoming, we will definitely be back again for wings and shakes

The £6.45 breakfast is tiny and dominated by one slice of bread. The bacon is about the size of your finger and was cold when served.

Decent overall but pancakes were a bit tiny compared to what I was expecting

Me and my Wife decided to stop in and try what we saw on the menu, a light snack and it was just awesome. Nice atmosphere, very comfy and not forgetting the waiter……she was so friendly and enthusiastic. Will definitely be going back here again whenever I’m in Brighton. 😁😁

Have been here a few times and am yet to be disappointed it's just what you need as a break from shopping and the shakes are great too.

We were greeted at the entrance by a nice staff who showed us to our seats. The atmosphere in the restaurant is very heartwarming and retro style, and the service was very speedy.

Food was well prepared and presented. Not a huge choice but enough for English breakfast. Ordering is via an app, not my thing but the server was lovely. Diner is situated in the small food hall top of Churchill Sq so wasn't expecting much in the way of atmosphere

Thought we will try as it was first time, unfortunately the woman who was on duty I found to be unfriendly, first of all there was no good morning instead told my husband to stand back which my husband was stood near the greeting entrance, then instead of asking if we have been there before, she started talking about the food, before we were taken to our seat, and my husband ask if they have burgers? Her reply was what time was is it now?, for a person that works there 5 days a week her customer service was absolutely disgusting, then she ask what we wanted and I said I don't know as we haven't seen the menu yet, we didn't even have the menu in our hand or taken to our seat. So we left in the end as by this time I was not happy a customer, this was on 17th of January 2024 around 11.30am maybe she needs to be reminded why she is there in the first place, she's not there to just talk behind the counter, I could understand if it was busy but the fact that it was early and only had two customers in the whole restaurant, I expected better treatment than that.

Great service. Amazing authentic American diner experience. Amazingly friendly staff and a great vibe. Also the music choice is on point. Also as it's not listed. The Edspresso martini is the icing on the American cake so to say.

The Mac and cheese burger could’ve done with Mac and cheese in it. 5 little tiny fragments of it. I mean what this is the point otherwise, I’ll bring a magnifying glass next time might help me see it in my burger. Staff were good.

The wings are incredible its all about the buffalo wings. Crispy yet succulent….. and the shakes holy moly they are fire…. 🔥

My first visit. I had a double burger (I can't remember what is was called) with a side of onion rings. It was delicious, really very good. Nice coffee too. My server Nicky was really lovely - she is a definite asset to this restaurant.

I used to love going to ed's, the price have sky rocketed and for the quality it wasn't great. I will think twice before going again. The waitresses that we had were good.

This diner has the most incredible range of vegan food for a mainstream burger joint… but the really crowning glory is the vegan biscoff shake. Honestly, it was so incredibly good, and a great size/value (especially if you order in). The photo cannot do the flavour any real justice.

De-toured into the shopping center to try there famous Shakes and they stood upto expectations. Staff seated us near instantly and took time to greet

Fantastic food, definitely the best in Brighton and by far the friendliest staff. Always met by a lovely warm smile by the lady who meets you at the entrance and Ellie who works behind the counter is so professional and kind and courteous and is the main reason we have come back again, definitely worth the money and you are treated very special and highly recommend

Stood waiting to be seated for far too long. Once someone come over there was absolutely no conversation we were just gave a seat and told to order on the app We sat a little confused as we didn't have the app and was no approached at all so went to the till .we ordered and I mentioned the service was poor and they just said they were understaffed . Sat 2 member of floor staff . One of them I witnessed threw a bag of uncooked raw chicken in a blue bag over to the chef which remained on the side the whole time I was there and not refrigerated. Not impressed

Slow service, small portions (burgers are the same for adults and children). No toilets, it's also quite expensive for what you get.

Great food. Every time I've eaten here it's been great, although I struggled to find a student discount, it's still worth it for the price. Portion sizes are great. Service is quick. Atmosphere is great, the music matches the diner which is surprisingly difficult for many places to do. Extra sauces and salt and pepper are easily accessible. And the Ice is Cubed!

This was our Christmas meal out (instead of the much better JBs diner) - we had an all day breakfast and the food was cold. It was really disappointing and unfortunately they make people pay and give a tip BEFORE eating. Nobody asked how the food was while we were eating and all 3 of our meals were cold. Save yourself money and go to JBs

We came to Ed"s in Brighton on a soggy wet day. Our host, Jonathan greeted us with a gorgeous smile which immediately brightened the day, and welcomed us in. He explained what we needed to do when ordering. Ordering was easy and food arrived to our table with smiles, humour and a great mood. Food was delicious and everyone enjoyed it Jonathan was amazing and makes you feel at home. Highly recommended, will be coming back again.
