Best wings in town. Always great service.

Warm friendly staff. Service with a smile. Nothing is too much trouble for these hardworking servers. Food was fantastic as usual. Burger and hot dog was delicious. Served promptly, the food was hot and yummy. Milkshake's were also very yummy! Our favourite sunday diner!

Good experience at Ed's Diner. The food tasted great and the staff were lovely. However the burgers are disappointingly small for the price. £14 for a burger and fries, about the same size as a double cheeseburger from mcdonalds but 10x the price, and they only have zero sugar sodas which was a big shame as I usually stay away from those.

I love myself a milkshake, it reminds me of being a kid and having days out with the family. Other than the big "M", most restaurants have hiked the price of milkshakes to almost £10 these days, which is nuts! How can a milkshake be the same price as a burger?! We'll, I've finally found a shake that was worth the price. More like a desert milkshake hybrid, it was enormous, drowned in Nutella and chocolate sauce, it had large chunks of chocolate brownie surrounding the single chocolate covered oreo at the top, fluffed up with squirty cream. When the milkshake came out of the kitchen, customers stopped what they were doing and gasped, their eyes fixated on the two milkstrocities being walked to our table. The family sitting next to us got up and left without ordering after seeing the milkshakes, I can only assume from sheer intimidation. We felt like rockstars. My son is a sugar fiend and he couldn't even finish his. I did my fatherly duty and finished it off for him. Milkshakes should never cost more than £5, but if they do, they should be like this!

Slower to get served than at a closed down restaurant. The cook (with whom I'm assuming it was her first day) was cooking each order 1 at a time although looking around loads of burgers everywhere. Cook 6 at once, maybe too difficult to do that. Each portion of chips was cooked separately, waste of time. There is no full fat coke drinks on there bottomless drinks menu and a can of coke was £3.95 with is an absolute joke. Absolute scam charging people that much for a can. There were a couple other people working but I'm pretty sure it took 3 of them to walk around in circles to make sure the other circles were correct.

I was served by a lovely girl called Leila, she was so friendly and made me feel so excited about the food choices and she was so right for it!!! My new hangout! Lovely food, wonderful staff!!!

The waitress was polite and greeted us, she then showed us to the table and explained that we should order through the QR code on the table. The breakfasts arrived quickly and it was nice and hot. My husband had a tea and I had a salted caramel milk shake with added malt, it was delicious. When we left the waitress wished us a good day.

Not going to lie for the price I paid I was expecting abit more The burger (meat) was dry and fell apart when I put the knife and fork into it the burger was small Onion rings were a joke All batter with a really thin ring of Onion when I say thin you practically could see through it. When I said this to the young lady that served me she said with a big smile on her face "im' sorry you didn't like the food sir" and walked away So basically it was the worst burger and Onion rings I've ever had I wish I'd gone to weather spoons like I planned to do in the first place

Our first visit about two years ago was amazing - great food and good prices. A few weeks ago we ordered two burgers (costing in the region of £15 each) a Coke and a milkshake. Well, we had to search for the burger (it was so small and my wife's burger patty was cold), the chips would have been easier to chew if they were made from wood, the Coke was served in a closed can (the type you buy in a multi pack at the supermarket) together with a clear plastic disposable cup and my wife's milkshake cost a few pennies short of £10 (for a milkshake?) That said the waitress was extremely knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. However, when everyone was served the three kitchen and serving staff did gather for a loud laugh together (which was unpleasantly disturbing) not bothering to check if our food was acceptable or not. Finally, the food was served up in a plastic paper lined bowl - to save on washing up I suppose. We will NOT be going back there.

Enjoyed it but a little over priced for fast food

The burgers are medium sized but everything is very good, the best fries I have ever had and the Mac 'n cheese a surprise. The service was very good although we had problems with the language. The family atmosphere.

Lovely staff who were super energetic and nice! Food was great if not a tad expensive but what do you expect in Brighton? Also their playlist is a banger. Kept procrastinating eating my food as I was jamming out. Great place if you just want to hang and vibe with some friends and have some greasy food. Would visit again. 💃🏼✨️

We came here the day before our wedding in Brighton and the Ellie made sure that we had a fantastic meal. The kids ate more than they usually would when eating out, which says a lot about the food. Shame they didn’t have enough wings to satisfy my belly, but to be fair, I don’t think there’s enough wings in Brighton to satisfy me! When they found out it was our wedding weekend they gave us some complimentary brownie dessert. After a long day on the road, this meal was exactly what we all needed. Thank you to everyone at Ed’s for making our trip to Brighton start with a bang!

I saw a lot of customers getting packed up because you have to wait for someone to come and seat you before choosing a table and if you ask to change they tell you no (3/4 of the restaurant was empty). paid £17 for a small burger and a can of fries (not enough) and there is no normal coke only diet and 0%, places to avoid.

Too expensive for a fast food, i took chicken wings and it was like only bones and with too much barbecue sauce, here in brighton they also don’t have normal coke they only have diet coke and coke zero. Me and my friends wanted to change table and they didn’t let us change table

I came here as I wanted to try their ‘Mud Pie’ milkshake. The lady with black hair, I didn’t know her name was very helpful and attentive. She explained the menu and told us we were able to pay by the QR code or at the till if we wished. Our Milkshakes were made very quickly with attention to detail. They were AMAZING. I went to use the toilet but the chef said they don’t have a toilet anymore, he was very friendly and directed me of where to go instead. I can’t believe they don’t have their juke boxes anymore! I thought that was such a shame as that’s a part of the 1950’s dinner experience! Overall, amazing milkshakes I’d come again.

This place isn’t cheap but the quality of the food is good. £15 for a small adult burger and chips with no add ins or extras to reduce the hurt of the price. BUT that is what good food costs now, it’s just that we are finding it hard to adjust to that. The chicken goijons on the kids menu were absolutely perfect, the brownies high class in taste and the chicken burger with bacon and cheese was spot on. I thoroughly enjoyed the food. £1.50 For the child brownie and icecream was reasonable but I couldn’t bring myself to pay £4 for a sofa from the machine. Hubby and I shared a burger and chips which only just satisfied the tip of our hunger but I liked that the staff weren’t rude about that. The plain clothed staff in charge were well trained with good customer service and the rest of the staff were perfectly acceptable but not overly friendly. We enjoyed our meal. Best value option is one adult with lots of kids because the kids meals were the best value.

Waited quiet some time to be seated. Once seated, we have been served by the most un-enthusiastic server I have come across. He literally has given up on life. We were told to order at the bar or via qr code. Ordered via qr code, drinks arrived 12 minutes after and was served by a really happy and friendly gentleman with a beard. Food arrived shortly after, served again by the first server, oh dear....husbands words were, how can you get service so wrong when the food is top notch. None of the team looked like they wanted to be there apart from one. Food was tasty, worth the £43 (2 burgers and 2 soft drinks? No.

Chicken and bacon burger was very tasty, chips was also great however it would be slightly better if the sauces ( gravy and cheese) were on side so people can add as much as they want ) 2 burger and a hot dog ,an orange juice and one glass of coke was between £50-60 for 3people. Also just a side information when ordering on the phone , it is a "must" to pay service charge. - would be beneficial if service charge was already in the prices or if people could leave cash tips.

This restaurant is wonderful. The employees are all incredibly nice and the service is top. But the best thing is the food. We had burgers, fries and chicken wings and everything was perfect. The ambience is reminiscent of a retro style and is beautiful. Overall just a great restaurant.

I came to Ed’s diner today for breakfast , the food was amazing !! And the hospitality and service was great !! We got served by the lovely ladies Leila and ellie which were very polite and helpful . Defo recommend !!

I mean just go the food is amzing and the breakfast was top tier. Big portions, tasty food and a great atmosphere. If you ever in the shopping centre or visiting Brighton and you want to get a quick bite to eat for either lunch or breakfast. I would definitely recommend this place.

For a start on arrival several items missing from menu due to lack of ingredients then realised they cook the burgers on same grill as the do the PORK hotdogs and the Pork bacon I do eat pork but don't think it right cook altogether only found this out as I have a blue cheese allergy and they said sorry we cooked quite a few blue cheese hot dogs and burgers on the grill today so I could only have something fried off the menu Chip we're way over seasoned and salty even from the kids menu BY FAR THE WORST EDS DINNER IVE BEEN TO IN ENGLAND

The £6.45 breakfast is tiny and dominated by one slice of bread. The bacon is about the size of your finger and was cold when served.
