Ed's Easy Diner Churchill Square in Brighton and Hove

The waiters were extremely kind and thoughtful about our specific orders. The restaurant itself is so decorative that I actually thought I was in 1950s America! Great for families, amazing presentation and food, you should definitely go to Ed’s in Brighton!!!!

I take my son to Ed’s Diner in Brighton as an after-school treat, and it’s always a fantastic experience! The staff are incredibly welcoming and go out of their way to make us feel at home. A special shoutout to Ellie, who is always so lovely and helpful. The friendly atmosphere makes every visit a pleasure, and the delicious food is just the cherry on top. Highly recommend for anyone looking for great service and a tasty meal!

I came to Ed’s a few months ago with my friends, and the food was really good. I ordered a chicken burger with loaded fries and it was so good. The staff are very friendly and communication was easy. I would definitely recommend them to my friends and family.

I come here as a treat for breakfast or the halloumi fries, the staff are always super helpful and friendly. I have a gluten allergy and the food has always been safe, they have a separate fryer which is a rare thing and they always do their best to avoid any cross-contamination. The music is good and I also come here as a time out to do some work as it is different to sit at an old style diner booth to go through my dull admin! I would recommend a visit!

Gone are the juke boxes and waitress service. Now it’s QR codes, battle through the menu on your phone and pay your tip up front before you even know what the service is going to be like. Another company penny pinching and ruining the whole customer service experience. Will never go back. What a shame.

Had bad reaction somehow cross contamination as gluten free happened swollen burning lips violently sick,Managers at Brighton lovely concerned, but Sarah eddy senior consultant trying to brush my case under the carpet how does she know after the Manager seeing the state of me that the cook didn't do anything different to make sure it didn't happen again outrageous I'm talking this further

Had the Cowboy pancakes with a side of eggs. Pancakes were light and fluffy. Eggs were cooked to perfection. All accompanied by two piping hot Americanos. I was sat at a table in minutes, service was friendly and efficient. Thank you! 🥞 🥓 ☕️

Love having coffee and cakes here but fed up with having to clean my own table every week! This week in Ed’s at sainsbury’s rayleigh weir, 3 other customers had to clean their own tables! Can’t fault anything else but clearing and cleaning the table is a bit much!

Eds Easy Diner in Brighton truly exceeded all our expectations! From the moment we arrived, the friendly staff made us feel incredibly welcome. We were promptly seated and even offered a convenient space to store our pram, which was such a thoughtful touch. What really stood out was how accommodating they were with dietary requirements. As someone needing both dairy-free and gluten-free options, it can often feel like a hassle dining out, but not here! Everything on the menu was clearly labeled, and the server went above and beyond by double-checking all our choices to ensure they met our needs. It was such a relief to feel confident in the food we were eating. Despite a slight wait for the food (which they kindly informed us about straight away), it was more than worth it. The dishes were absolutely delicious and prepared with care. The upbeat atmosphere, combined with the team's attentive service, made the whole experience delightful. Eds Easy Diner is a gem in Brighton, and we’ll definitely be returning. Highly recommended for families, those with dietary needs, or anyone just looking for a great meal with excellent service!

We have enjoyed our meals at this establishment a couple of times. The staff are always kind, polite, friendly and tolerant with our autistic adult making reasonable adjustments for him to feel comfortable ordering and frequenting here again.

Not been to an Ed's for several years after my local restaurant closed. The burger was excellent, and the staff were lovely and attentive. Sadly gone are the jukebox, 50s music and the neon lights that made Ed's a unique throwback in time experience. I also think they still offer good value, especially when compared to the golden arches next door.

APPALLED. Exorbitant prices for extremely mediocre food. Tiny flat chicken breast on a small bun. The beef burger small and flat. What a rip off.

Before we sat down, we were told there would be a 20 min wait for food. We were shown to a table given the menu and then left to our own devices with no further information from the staff member. When we finally got her attention to say we're ready to order we where told to go up to the counter and ordered. It would have been nice to know this information when the staff member showed us to the table and gave us the menu. We also couldn't see where the 20 min wait for food was as the place was nearly empty and the chefs were just standing around. Very poor show from the Brighton branch

Great experience at Ed’s Diner I ordered the Filthy Texan Burger and it was very filling and tasted great! My kids also had the main and 2 sides and was only £5.99 great bargain! Ellie's service was impeccable and the team there treated myself and my kids so well! 5* would visit again next time!

The service was good and the food as well they might had been under staff as we had 30 min wait on food nevertheless the food was tasty and the waitress was kind and gentle.

Good experience at Ed's Diner. The food tasted great and the staff were lovely. However the burgers are disappointingly small for the price. £14 for a burger and fries, about the same size as a double cheeseburger from mcdonalds but 10x the price, and they only have zero sugar sodas which was a big shame as I usually stay away from those.

Me encanta un batido, me recuerda a ser un niño y tener días con la familia. Aparte de la gran "M", la mayoría de los restaurantes han subido el precio de los batidos a casi £ 10 en estos días, lo que es una locura! ¿Cómo puede un batido ser el mismo precio que una hamburguesa? Finalmente he encontrado un batido que valió la pena. Más como un híbrido de batido del desierto, era enorme, ahogado en Nutella y salsa de chocolate, tenía grandes trozos de brownie de chocolate rodeando el único oreo cubierto de chocolate en la parte superior, esponjado con crema squirty. Cuando el batido salió de la cocina, los clientes dejaron de hacer lo que estaban haciendo y jadearon, con los ojos fijos en las dos carnicerías que caminaban hacia nuestra mesa. La familia sentada a nuestro lado se levantó y se fue sin ordenar después de ver los batidos, solo puedo suponer de pura intimidación. Nos sentimos como estrellas de rock. Mi hijo es un adicto al azúcar y ni siquiera pudo terminar el suyo. Hice mi deber paternal y lo terminé por él. Los batidos nunca deberían costar más de £ 5 , pero si lo hacen, deberían ser así!

Slower to get served than at a closed down restaurant. The cook (with whom I'm assuming it was her first day) was cooking each order 1 at a time although looking around loads of burgers everywhere. Cook 6 at once, maybe too difficult to do that. Each portion of chips was cooked separately, waste of time. There is no full fat coke drinks on there bottomless drinks menu and a can of coke was £3.95 with is an absolute joke. Absolute scam charging people that much for a can. There were a couple other people working but I'm pretty sure it took 3 of them to walk around in circles to make sure the other circles were correct.

The waitress was polite and greeted us, she then showed us to the table and explained that we should order through the QR code on the table. The breakfasts arrived quickly and it was nice and hot. My husband had a tea and I had a salted caramel milk shake with added malt, it was delicious. When we left the waitress wished us a good day.
