Lost Boys Chicken in Brighton and Hove

Simply the best fried chicken! In a crowded market these guys lead the way. Always such a treat, would totally recommend either in person at the Joker or delivery.

The chicken burgers were amazing. Not greasy, chicken seasoned very well, staff took out sauces and other ingredients when requested. The croquettes are delicious too. Service was great and staff are friendly. Prices are very reasonable. Definitely will come back and recommend to others, so glad I went!

This is easily the best fried chicken in Brighton - probably the best Fried chicken I’ve ever had. Also, their Miss Mango burger is insanely delicious. Can’t stop thinking about how that pineapple worked so well with the habanero sauce🤤. Talking of their sauces, they are all extremely tasty - even the no name 🔥Service wise, the guys behind the counter didn’t seem the friendliest. You’ expect a place with lots of cartoon characters, selling mega drive games in a vending machine and their windows full of colourful plastic balls to at least have a smile!

Great as ever, best chicken in town. Ate in the Joker, great atmosphere, roaring fire on a cold January night. Perfect.

Best chicken wings in town by far! We go here quite regularly and get the large wings, which easily could be shared but I wouldn't want to since they are so yummy. I recently tried the kimchi burger too and that was just as nice as the wings. I recommend the tater tots

I LOVE this place! Are used to order from them when I lived in Hove, sadly I moved away and today worked locally and couldn’t wait to order my Buffalo chicken sandwich which was absolutely superb. I got worried when I saw the new packaging, which looks super cool btw, I missed Lost boys chicken so much!! I love how juicy and saucy the burger is. I honestly cannot fault you guys! You guys have made my year, thank you

For a truly unique experience for someone who can handle spice I highly recommend the miss mango with No name sauce and some no name wings with blue cheese sauce and cellary ****top fu*king notch**** long live the lost bois

Bien accueillis et bien servis, nous avons passés un bon moment dans ce restaurant Italien qui propose de bons produits et plats typiques, avec du choix et notamment des formules végé. Le service est rapide et le restaurant est propre. Je recommande, en plus c’est bien situé !

Lunch time visit to this large pub on the edge of Shoreham. Comfortable traditional pub. Restaurant area was closed but bar area was open for lunch. Menu looked quite interesting but starters, Prawn cocktails and Calamari were disappointing. We all had fish and chips for main course which was also average. Staff seemed a bit run off their feet.

2 and half hours wait - no food, no compensation, terrible service…. Living up their name; an absolute joke.

Usually we love your chicken wings. They are delicious. Today however, don't know if I can eat them again. Deliveroo was fast, food was hot, but the chicken was so dry and chewey, the sauce didn't help that. We're very disappointed as we always love your food.

Still great wings, unfortunately the curly fries have gotten a bit soggy and underdone on recent orders.

Lost Boys at the Joker Pub is alright but the new shop on Preston Road is an absolute joke. Different menu to the pub which would be fine but this one's massively overpriced. Frankly I couldn't see any difference between the four burgers of which we ordered different ones. As standard they both came with just dry chicken and lettuce in a bun. No sauce, we had to pay extra for that.... Are you mad?

Ignore the negative reviews on here. Consistently amazing food. Cooked to perfection succulent juicy chicken burgers and wings to absolutely die for. Our go to take away tight now. Be warned when these guys say spicey they bloody well meen it. Fantastic keep it up. We'll be back again and...... ..

Simply the best chicken sandwich in Brighton!!! My absolute favourite was the buffalo chicken sandwich and I loved that you can choose how spicy you want it. The kimchi burger was also delicious with the chicken being crispy yet not dry. The chicken wings are also very delicious with a variety of sauces to choose from, I tried the Kansas bbq wings and loved them!

So much potential, but their Bristol branch is so inconsistent and send absolutely horrendous food sometimes. Our last order will be the final one. Paid for 2 burgers, no buffalo sauce, also didn’t include the extra sauce, had loaded fries too and sent curly fries. Messaged their page and they apologised and then stopped responding. 2 orders in one night and they got both wrong and Deliveroo refused to refund.

Myself and five friends visited the Brighton Lost Boys for some food yesterday. We all ordered at the same time and sat down with our drinks waiting for our meals. The bar staff seemed pretty uninterested in taking our orders and would rather be chatting with friends that were drinking at the bar. We received two bluetooth alarm devices that would notify us by flashing red when our food was ready, letting us know to go and pick up our food from the kicthen window, we were told we could grab sauces and what condiments we wanted there. This was made to be almost as difficult as working out the DaVinci Code, for I was sent back and fourth from the bar to the kithcen window 3 times to absolutley no avail. After around 45 minutes of waiting split up with some sauce hunting, my device flashed so I proceeded to go and pick up my food from the kitchen, there was no body there to ask for any sauces ect so it was pretty dissapointing having to eat plain chips. The burger itself was well made and presented, if a little tight on the meat inside. Tasted pretty good but was not worth the nearly hour wait for a pretty simple meal. My 4 other friends were still waiting a solid 15 minutes after me, so this resulted in having to all eat and finish at different times, which kind of makes the point of having a meal together rather wasted. I could understand if we had all ordered some intricate burger meals but alas they were the most straight forward options on the menu. If I had the choice I dont think I will be returning to this establishment for some average at best chicken burgers and poor staff.

Ordered via Deliveroo (Cambridge) arrived on time, opened the box of wings which were okish then opened my chicken burger and it smelt abit odd thought it was maybe the flavour i ordered that smelt abit funny so took a bite and spat it out straight away, uncooked chicken on top of chicken which has gone off, very unpleasant smell and my mouth went abit funny for a few hours had to wash it out a number of times before the awful taste disappeared. Would not recommend at all!! Stinky gone off chicken disgusting!!!

Got 2 maggy chicken burgers. Both chicken burgers were tiny and completely black and burnt. Tots and curly fries were okay, very greasy like the ones from a weather spoons. Really expensive for completely bland and burnt food. Not good.

Meh is what I'd say about Lost Boys Chicken. The burger was fine, nothing amazing. You get better at even KFC. The wings had a nice sauce but were clearly the cheapest chicken you can get, very chewy and dry and had a real cheap flavour to the meat. Coleslaw is disgusting, took one fork full then put it to the side, just yuk. Loaded fries are very nice though, that's what gets the two stars.

Buffalo burger had a really burnt bun to which I could only really taste burnt while trying. Korean wings were nowhere near the best I've tried, just doesn't have that Korean fried chicken flavour at all, I've personally made better. Food arrived really late and was therefore cold. Won't be giving these another chance

I had a burger from your Ipswich ghost kitchen. And it was extremely salty to the point I could not finish it. Perhaps have a word with them.

We ordered food and our order contained chicken wings for our two children age 11 and 6. After tger had eaten one and dropped the bone we couldn't believe what we saw.... raw. I'm just so upset my boys have eaten this and hoping it doesn't make them ill.

I have just tried the mock chicken here and it is honestly the best I have ever had. Insanely delicious sauce and all really flavoursome and crispy fake chicken balls. The curly fries were epic and I will 100% be here again! Briefly spoke to the chefs who were super friendly and really passionate about their food. Highly recommend to all!

Ordered this as a takeaway. Pictures on website looked amazing however, when the food arrived, it was luke warm and the chicken was half the size of the bun it was served in and the bun was tiny! Nothing like the photos on their website or the on line reviews! Such a shame as the flavour was good, it just needed to be a reasonable.size

First few orders from here were great but the general quality seems to have nosedived recently. Missed the chips off our order and the sandwiches weren’t all that; not much better than a millies really …which I wouldn’t mind so much if they weren’t so massively over priced. Over £30 for two burgers and some wings. The wings were a bit rank this time too…must admit though, the Rufio buffalo sauce is delicious.

We ordered a burger each from Deliveroo from the York shop, thought we’d give it a go. Food and flavours are nice, but very basic burger, small slither of chicken with a bit of mayo for a tenner. Might wash down south, but not up north. Especially when there’s a lot of independents in the same area selling at the same price that are a lot better value/quality for money. Wouldn’t buy again unless they knocked the price down by half.

I ordered on deliveroo and my order took 96 mins to get here when it did the food was cold and the restaurant had abruptly closed on the app plus it was just past 9pm so I didn't think there was any point in complaining my burger was fine it was a cold chicken burger with alot of mayo but the curly fries were inedible the sauce on them was far to spicy for me this is my fault I should have got it as a dip so I could test out the heat but the fact they were stone cold made sure I couldn't eat them what a waste of money

OVER PRICED Good chicken and well presented. Unfortunately doesn't justify the price. Went with the standard LBCS Burger with some curly fries. Thought it was pricey from the start but wanted to try something new. £9.50 and that's just for the burger! May try again and go for the Buffalo chicken as it does look good and I'm yet to find a place in York that actually has decent Buffalo Chicken. If that's good then I'd consider again if the prices went down. However, I wouldn't be a regular at the current cost. Think Milkshakes could also benefit the menu. Seems well suited for it. Will keep an eye on the place.

Ordered from deliveroo using voucher code april10 and the existing deliveroo 25% off. Ordered sichuan wings and rufio dunks. Wings were some of the best I'd had. Tons of meat, good batter, tasty sauce. Dunks were excellent, the rufio sauce is pretty damn spicy and is very flavourful and I found the quality of the meat and batter to be excellent as well. Whole thing came to about 7.50 delivered with the code added and the portions are pretty generous.

Got the two burger, two curly fries and one side deal. Along with two portions of 6 chicken wings. The chicken in both burgers were raw. The curly fries were over salted and the chicken wings were soggy and not that great. It looked amazing when unboxing it, very disappointed in this. It had such good reviews and it was such a let down.

Ordered from here tonight. I have to say it was very nice!! Their batter on the chicken and chicken it’s self is genuinely awesome as well as their sauces. But it’s all very expensive. If it wasn’t for my credit voucher I probably wouldn’t have ordered in all honesty. Reckon they should come down on their prices just a little.

Chicken was undercooked. Put off by the rubbery, raw chicken. Asked deliveroo to credit my account. They would not. They would not refund my order. My daughter did not have dinner. She was put off by the raw chicken and was worried she would get ill. Food was not cooked through.

The chicken salad was a nightmare, sour, vinegary, soggy and hot instead of tangy. Worst salad I have ever had. Not recommended at all.

Not sure what else I can say. The burger is unbelievable... literally the best burger I have ever eaten. Can’t get enough of these and can’t recommend them enough. If you want a chicken burger there is only one place to go and get it in Brighton. Highly highly recommend this place.

The lost boys chicken burger at the shelter hall was the chicken burger I was waiting for. Immense. Extra pickles and halloumi highly recommended.

The reason for this shocking rating is because Lost Boy's Chicken stole their recipes from the original kitchen that was run by The Orange Buffalo, the first and original buffalo wings kitchen sold at The Joker. I ate at The Joker when it was run by The Orange Buffalo too many times toi recall and the food was amazing, in particular their most popular sauce "Woof Woof". I then went in a realised they'd change all branding and names of their sauces. It was no longer Orange Buffalo but The Lost Boys. Not only had they continued to make chicken meals identical to The Orange Buffalo but they even stole their signature receipes, including "Woof Woof" and renamed it "Thudbutt". 1 Star review because that's what these snides deserve for ripping off a small company with a good idea. Shame on them.

INCREDIBLE food! The wings have such a wide variety of sauces - schezuan sauce was insane! The tatter tots were amazing. The burger was sooooo good. But it’s the chicken (in the burger) and the wings! Just fantastic. Definitely be going back and have mates who want to come next time! The staff were lovely too and helped with food recommendations (such as the beaut halloumi fries)

Went based on other reviews and not disappointed, the buffalo chicken sandwich was gorgeous and the service quick, only loses a star as the curly fries were dull and tasteless.

Never been there (planning to go soon). Always ordering trough Deliveroo. Food is amazing every time 👍

No name wings should be called burns twice

Probably one of the best vegan burgers I've ever tried if not the best, curly fries also very good. They are nice guys too. One star deducted for price which is a bit steep but mainly for the waiting time. I'm happy to pay the price as long as I can get the food reasonably quick.

These guys make the best wing's outside of the States and that's a fact! The wing's are fantastically cooked, have an awesome crunch, crazily well sauced and so far every combo of sauce I've tried is insanely good. If you like your wing's HOT and I mean HOT then you have to try their no name sauce as it's literally both face melting and delicious so you can't help but hate yourself for going back for more... The tots are fantastic, the rings a little too greasy for my liking and the curly fries are also great however, lets face it you come for the wings and they will not disappoint!

Found casually scrolling through Deliveroo and ordered not expecting much but boy oh boy the surprise! The Buffalo chicken sandwich is the best chicken sandwich I've even had in my life and I'm not exaggerating! The sauce is amazing and perfectly dosed so it doesn't overwhelm the whole sandwich. The chicken patty is cooked so perfectly it's tender and juicy not dry, not overcooked! The bun is fresh with a very nice texture that goes very well with the sandwich. If you like buffalo wings then go ahead and get some. They are what I consider buffalo wings done right! Cooked just right so the meat stays juicy with again the sauce being properly dosed. My only regret is not ordering more but I will come back for sure.

We were dissatisfied with our food order via Deliveroo and the restaurant got in touch very quickly to arrange a full refund. We felt this was excellent customer service even though the food was disappointing. The friend we were visiting in Brighton plans to order or visit again to give the place another go in light of them going above and beyond on this occasion.
