Wendy's in Brighton and Hove

My first time at Wendy's. The restaurant was reasonably clean and service was fast. Two of the burger grill orders were prepared incorrectly. When the items were returned with the receipt, the kitchen crew member could be seen swearing as they had to remake the order correctly as it should have been. Burger bun was completely cold on the chicken burger although the bun had been toasted. The chicken was ok, not fresh but was ok and wasn't dry. The french fries were good and the temperature was ok but not hot and fresh. The beverages were good and there was a good selection. Toilets were a disgrace and two cubicles unusable due to being unsanitary with urine on the floor and dirty toilet roll pans.

The manager who was wearing a green t-shirt was very unpleasant today, August 3, around 2pm, after a circumstance that had occurred with my little cousin who was a minor and did not speak English, the very poorly educated manager came with no values ​​and no empathy whatsoever. to throw us out of the restaurant in bad manners simply because I had my dog ​​with me, I didn't know what had happened and I didn't know that dogs were not allowed in the establishment and this very rude person with very bad manners kicked us out of the restaurant while my younger cousin age was trying to explain the situation to me and I wanted to ask this rude being if he could at least order the food to go and we would wait for the food outside and he didn't stop yelling at us and asking us to leave the restaurant in very bad manners and very very rude. . My cousin is visiting the United Kingdom and has had a very bad experience because of this unpleasant lady. I am very upset with your customer service since she was a manager. She was a loyal Wendy's customer that you have lost forever. I will never return. to visit your restaurant chain. I hope someone can educate your stupid manager.

First time whilst staying in the area and sadly disappointed having spent nearly £50. Ordered 3 burger and chips and 1 chicken burger and chips.3 times I had to go up as we had missing and wrong items,Our food now cold waiting for the correct food.Staff were not overly apologetic.

Food tasted so full of flavour, really delicious and the baconater, oh ma God. If u ain't had a Wendy's u gotta try the baconater. Chips be Crispin just right 👌. Would definitely recommend if you haven't had a Wendy's already.

The food is okay. What stood out the most for me was the fantastic hospitality myself & my wife received from a certain staff member called Kirsty Jone. Thank you so much Miss Jones. Myself & my wife will always remember the beautiful service we received from you.

That was the worst burger ever, didn’t cook, the staff was angry and unhelpful. I told them to change the burger. They said no, we can’t change it. They can’t use this American brand like this!!! Shame on them!!!

Always good, fresh food. Caring staff which puts effort to turn delivery orders to come out proper, too.

Chips are so dry and burger taste so bland. Not as competitive with Mcd's. Need to have their own door man to remove youngster who are so anmoying and not good behaviour.

A nice alternative to other burger places. Wendy’s is priced competitively and has some great deals. The posters in the window show the meal deal for less than four pounds so I tried it. Lovely tasty burgers and nice fries. The better drinks like milkshake and iced coffee can add a pound or so. Still good value. At Brighton, the friendly cheerful staff make the biggest difference. On my visit Wendy’s was definitely guilty of pictures looking far better than the actual food, especially the coffee. However, the burger did taste good

Very impressed with the great selection and quality food, which is ideal for a family with different taste and preferences (even I liked the salad! 🤣). The place is also very modern and clean. All in all, way better than your average fast food. I will definitively return soon!

I’ve been coming here for ages now and the quality just gets better every time. I definitely recommend everyone going in and giving it a try as honestly the food is great and with good prices! The staff are super friendly and puts in effort to make sure our experience there is unique in every way 👏🏻 I am very pleased with wendys in general but i have to say that anyone who goes there on a busy day must be patient as at least the wait won’t be as long as in other busy places such as McDonalds ahaha.

This was an amazing dining experience for me, nothing quite like it. I was served by a fella whom goes by the name "vincent". He was especially comforting and helpful. Lovely team of staff and shoutout to vincent for making waiting in a queue worth it.

First time at Wendy’s after seeing a review on YouTube which was favourable :) Really enjoyed the food and the burger was good quality. The chicken nuggets were very tasty and the Vanilla Frosty was nice too ( almost sends a shiver through your teeth) but after a while it’s a nice drink/ dessert. Felt like it filled me up compared to another fast food outlet which we won’t mention! Will definately come back here

Such an average burger joint even for fast food I was here recently here and the fountain for the soda didn't work but there were no signs saying so I and the server asked if I wanted to. Have a can instead even tho I already paid for the fountain what a joke I won't come back Ever again

Every time I've come here I've had piping hot food and it's been fresh. Absolutely can't complain, and the service has been quick and relatively friendly. I can say it's a bit of a bland atmosphere though.

Coming from LA and now living in Worthing for many years ,I was really looking forward to the famous Wendy’s burger Was served an ice cold bun and burger Returned the burger and stood waiting 5 minutes to receive another one which was tepid-with-inedible tomato and old lettuce and had to return fries as they were now cold too! Don’t bother to go there -dreadful !

There a guy named Ollie who works here whos absolutely amazing i had my two young nephews with me who both are on the spectrum and Ollie asked if they would like to switch there oranges juices to a frostie and he didnt seem bothered thay my nephews asked lots of questions about what the frosities are. Having somewhere i can take my nephews without the worry staff are going to react badly to them means alot so Thank you Ollie it really made my day better

At Wendy's, encountered rudeness when charged for a drink refill despite observing others use the dispenser freely. Disappointing lack of customer service.

I do not eat a lot of takeaways but Wendys is now my favourite takeaway for burgers even though we eat in. The food is excellent and the burgers are like what i had when i was in Canada. I can actually eat their fries whereas other takeaways i can’t. The staff are really helpful, friendly, professional and listen to you if you have a dietry problem. Always as clean as it can be. I love Coca cola and at christmas i had my photo taken in their cola van inside the restaurant.

Service was great. Staff were professional and approchable in particular Donna and Layla. The food is flavourable. The portion sizes were reasonable. The only feedback i would give is that the tempature of the food needs to be worked on. For the money you pay you should get hot food not just warm food. The layout downstairs could be better and definitely would benefit from a customer lift to make it more disability friendly. Recieved a free desert which was a chocolate icecream which was a bonus. All round great experience.

Great value, I had the impression that it was more expensive than it really is. Great taste, good portions, and really short preparation times. I prefer it to similar options in the area.

First time at this branch, for lunch. The staff were friendly and polite but I only saw them behind the counter. The restaurant itself was pretty empty but so dirty. We sat upstairs to eat and had to clear off a rubbish covered table and the floor surrounding it before sitting down and in the 30 minutes we were there staff didn’t come upstairs once so no clearing or cleaning took place. The toilets were also filthy so after taking one look I couldn’t use the facilities. The food itself was good, nice and hot and tasted fresh but the grubbiness of the whole place has put us off going a second time.

Don't even bother with their cheeseburgers... Thin, hardly any filling and mostly bun. The Baconater and the Dave however are amazing. The fries are really nice too 🤌

First time here. Had high expectations... found lots of grisly lumps in burger and avocado skin .... thats a no from me for any future visits

Positives: The burgers are gooood. Really tasty patties, well cooked and very filling. The fries were also very tasty and perfectly cooked. The seating area was spotless. Great choice of sauces. Not so good: the baconator cheese fries. There was barely a pinch of cheese and no cheese sauce. Was saved by a pretty generous amount of bacon and excellent fries. The kids meals are small and the nuggets are just meh. Also if you choose a blizzard with the kids meal, it replaces the drink. Bad: the coffee. I got a latte and it was the weakest, most tasteless coffee I have ever had. It tasted like they had put in half a spoon of coffee, a dash of milk and then topped it up with hot water. I ended up throwing it away. Overall it is a much better burger than you'd get at the golden arches, the service is quick and the combos are good value for money and very filling. 2 adults and 2 children all full up for £33, so can't complain.

Wendys is always a place for me for quick bite but this the service was awful. Fries were cold and staff was rude. Asked the staff to change my fries but she never agreed the fries were cold and tired to bargain with me. DISAPPOINTED

Came in today for lunch. Have a son who suffers from autism and loves anything American . Great selection of menu items. Warm and friendly environment and very tidy. Not a long wait for food either.

Ordered at terminal and burgers ready literally straight away. As soon as I saw tinfoil wrapping knew I had made mistake. Lukewarm tired looking burgers. Returned mine to counter and wife took one bite and binned hers. Made Mcdonald look like haute cuisine.

OUTSTANDING service yet again from Harrison. He is an absolute MACHINE at frosty-pouring. If I were to describe my experience in one word only, it would be chocolatey. Slayed 💅💅 The Frosty is a frozen dairy dessert of the American fast-food restaurant chain Wendy's. The Frosty was among the first five items introduced on the Wendy's menu. Wendy's founder Dave Thomas created the original "light chocolate" Frosty himself by combining chocolate and vanilla flavors, as he thought that a pure chocolate flavor would overwhelm the taste of the restaurant's hamburgers. Thomas based the Frosty on the milkshakes he drank in Detroit as a youth, and created the Frosty to be thick enough to require a spoon to eat. Fast service, freshly cooked food. Was expecting similar to other competitors. But food was better quality and taste. Restaurant was quieter so was able to sit in. Was very clean and staff came around regularly to check.

Listen...step away from Macy's and walk down the road! Foods better, price is better, service is better
