Service was great. Friendly staff. Ate the Full Monty breakfast. Food was of good quality, so no problem there, but from a personal preference perspective the bbq beans did not gel with an English Breakfast. One sausage and a couple of rashers of crispy belly bacon and a slice of black pudding, though tasty, left me somewhat underwhelmed as the rest of the less expensive (though not insubstantial) elements of the breakfast were used to pad out the volume. Seemed a little meagre given the price of 16 odd quid.

The overall atmosphere I experienced at Smash Burger is more than satisfactory, the staff were very receptive to our requests and the seating was quite enjoyable with my family. The interior as well created a great atmosphere! I would definitely recommend the classic smash burger with sweet potato fries for anyone who looks to try Smash Burger ;). One more thing, kids eat free every Wednesday .

My first time at Wendy's. The restaurant was reasonably clean and service was fast. Two of the burger grill orders were prepared incorrectly. When the items were returned with the receipt, the kitchen crew member could be seen swearing as they had to remake the order correctly as it should have been. Burger bun was completely cold on the chicken burger although the bun had been toasted. The chicken was ok, not fresh but was ok and wasn't dry. The french fries were good and the temperature was ok but not hot and fresh. The beverages were good and there was a good selection. Toilets were a disgrace and two cubicles unusable due to being unsanitary with urine on the floor and dirty toilet roll pans.

We were looking for a pub to kill some time before our off-peak train ticket back to the hotel was valid, when we stumbled upon this small jewel in a side road of Brighton.A big sortiment of keg and cask beers as well as ciders, fair prices and likeable personnel satisfies the needs of every pub visitor who's looking for a cozy place to explore some beers. Would definitely visit again!

Probably the worst meal I have attempted to eat. The Nashville hot chicken somehow tasted like stale fish, was incredibly salty, appeared grey inside (potentially undercooked, time will tell) and so so oily. Salad was swimming in a creamy dressing and looked more like soup than a salad. This defeated the object of having a side salad. The ‘ice cold salad’ was packaged in the box next to the formally warm chicken and beef. Rendering both horribly lukewarm. The Juicy Lucy burger was horrendous. My husband had a bite and was genuinely confused as to what I had ordered. The brisket was tough and incredibly greasy (indicating brisket was not the cut of meat used) and the hot links sausage lacked any flavour other than salt. This came topped with an entire tub of coleslaw and a disgusting vinegar mustard sauce which made the roll wet. The roll didn’t stand a chance with all of the wet ingredients thrown into it. Over all this meal was inedible and left us feeling unwell from the small amount we consumed. The fries were ok. This was a Deliveroo order therefore we cannot comment on the restaurant service. For a restaurant we ate at a few times over the years we will now avoid at all costs. Eventually Deliveroo decided to refund us for everything except the fries. We pushed for a refund especially as this is not a cheap restaurant to eat at. Costing £46 for 2 burger meals that I wouldn’t feed to a dog.
