I had a lovely meal at this restaurant for my birthday. The food and cocktails were great, and the staff were so friendly and went through the menu with us. The service was fantastic, and the atmosphere was very cosy. I would highly recommend this restaurant if you are staying at the Cave Hotel.

As someone who has had some of the best BBQ in America, finding a decent place for BBQ in UK is a challenge. Korean Cowgirl did not disappoint with the BBQ platter. I would have to disagree with Nick below and say if you are going, definitely get it, so you try as much as possible whilst you are there. I will agree that the wings were the star of the show. We went for the soy and garlic wings which were amazing. We did also have the chicken gyoza's, chocolate brownie and the Biscoff and Nutella donut. All the food was great. My only issue was with the service. It seemed we didn't have a dedicated waiter/waitress and it was very difficult to get anyone's attention when we did want/need something. We also had to ask for the bill twice as the first time when we asked for it be charged to the room (we were staying in the hotel next door) they sent it without us checking and signing for it so asked for it again to check. I would definitely go back if I am ever this way again.

We had an amazing time here for drinks outside with friends. The staff were incredibly attentive and the fire pit was amazing. We were well looked after and made to feel so welcome for a special treat. Would love to come back!

Visited the Cave for my birthday and came here for a late lunch. We ordered the BBQ Smokehouse board for 2, it was £70 - some things on the board were delicious however some were very underwhelming. The service was lovely and the restaurant is very aesthetically pleasing. Not bad overall just lacked value.

Very limited menu, very, very expensive especially the price of drinks. £15 for one glass of wine !! I'll never visit again.

Stayed in the cave hotel with the Mrs to get break night from the kids 😂, and went here to eat, it was superb, everything was delicious, the chicken wings are a must, they are the best I've ever had. The wife had a chicken rice bowl which looked lovely and the smashed burger was superb! 10/10 and great servive

The staff here are very friendly. I’m not sure if we got there at a more quite time, but it was very peaceful and quite relaxing. The atmosphere of the restaurant feels very chilled out. The music choices are interesting, sadly no K-pop. At least none that I heard while eating. The food is very tasty. Really enjoyed the food, and my wife and I would recommend the chicken wings, although a little small but very tasty. We shall be returning.

Very disappointed that I was served alcohol in my drink even after it was noted down that I wanted NON ALCOHOLIC drinks. The communication between staff was not good which ruined my experience.

Just went here to celebrate our 7th wedding anniversary and from start to finish it was a car crash. We arrived to not be greeted by anyone for nearly 5 minutes whist there was five members of staff just gathered around by the bar. We ordered our drinks and they just sat on the bar for 10 minutes with our waitress to just walk past them and take our food order not realising we still not got our drinks. Food was really nice cannot fault that, but when we had finished our food our plates stayed on the table for half an hour. Also did not get offered another drink until our plates were being collected by this point I had finished my drink 45 minutes ago. The restaurant is very nicely decorated but we will not be returning again. I would definitely avoid.

The whole experience was amazing. The service was wonderful, and the food was the best I've had in a long time. I didn't have one thing that I didn't enjoy. I will definitely be going back and would recommend.

My wife and I went for our anniversary dinner. The service was great and the food did not dissappoint. Presentation and flavour was fantastic. Will be returning again.

We visited the cave for my husbands birthday and went to the Korean Cowgirl for dinner. First of all, the restaurant has a nice vibe to it. We were all set for dinner and what we were going to eat but what made out our experience what our waiter, Adam. He went above and beyond to sell the different things on the menu to us. The way he sold the items definitely made us more intrigued to try them. And of course he did not lie. Everything he described was correct. We were extremely happy with what we ordered because of Adam. He even sold us on the desert (even though we were planning to have any). Very pleased with his service and he made our experience there so much more fun. He even gave us advice for our breakfast for the following day and once again he did not lie. Goes to show how much he enjoys working there as well as the food!

We received a warm welcome. The service was prompt and efficient. I have to say I would recommend what we had. We started with pork gyozas. My husband had the meat platter, where the meat just fell apart due to the slow cooking quality. I had the brisket rice bowl, which I highly recommend, and for a side we had cauliflower popcorn, full of tangy flavour. A very pleasant evening.

Great service, staff were lovely. They also went the extra mile for my birthday. Food was great tasting, full of flavour and the portion sizes were just right. Perfect spot for a bite to eat whilst staying at the cave!

Great bbq food, very impressive!

This was a very bad experience. I had booked dinner for my partners birthday at Korean Cowgirl and was left extremely heartbroken after spending £96.00 and eating only my burger. The food literally came out in a few minutes after ordering which for me was already a bad sign for cooked meat. My partner’s entire meal (smokehouse bbq platter and chips) was SOOOO salty! It was bad! Over seasoned with so many ingredients with a bad taste and texture. The turkey was soggy, under cooked and salty, the brisket was soggy and salty. The chips and sweet potatoe fries were also all over seasoned. They really didn’t need any form of seasoning, just salt on the French fries would have been enough. The menu does not too enough at all to explain what is on the dishes or how it’s cooked. We mentioned all this to the waiter and was still charged the full price even after leaving three quarters of our meal. I ended throwing up the entire burger that I had and feeling extremely sick for the night and my partner had to end up looking for food on Uber eats to deliver to our room to end his birthday night which was a shame and very disappointing! I would recommend going into St Peter’s, Canterbury. We had a great choice of restaurants to eat from the night before.

We stayed at the hotel for our 18th wedding anniversary and had dinner at the cowgirl. We had the shared board for two which was absolutely delicious, really enjoyed it. Our waitress Danielle W was very friendly. We also had a saxophone player during dinner.

Absolutely love it at The Korean Cowgirl. It's my 5th time here and it doesn't disappoint. The atmosphere, food and customer service are A-star. The lovely waiter (don't know his name but he's 22) convinced me to try different food from what I normally have, which I did and loved. He also convinced me to try Firepit next time so that's what I'd do. Best part of our experience is having dinner indoors then drinks outdoors with blankets at the fireplace. 100% recommend this place.

Me and my girlfriend visited Korean cowgirl for our dinner as staying next door in the cave, the place looks and is fine up really nice and staff where friendly, but once getting our food the portion sizes where not very big, one of our sides came out wrong of which the waiter apologised but it took 20 minutes to get the correct side out of which we had already finished our food, some of the meats & the French fries where cold and just not enough food for what we paid, the actual food itself was tasty, the meat was very nice just there was not enough and came out wanting more, payed £35 for the single board and was expecting a lot more to be on there. Overall disappointing as was really looking forward to eating there, won’t be returning as it was just so expensive for what you get.

Firstly not very well lit up outside so trying to find the front entrance is a guess as from car park looks like the toilets at a country park. Entering the place looks nice with bar in the middle nice places to sit and eat waiter seemed ok at first . We ordered food came out tasted ok just not a lot there for the money nothing ordered really made you think amazing I’d come back. It’s the sort of place that’s asking London prices but can’t produce the same service or quality of food in my opinion and to a youngster that’s food experience is Nando’s , Wagamama ect this would be top place but for all those people that have eaten in proper restaurants ect you would feel that it’s very average and overpriced for what you get and for the money you pay you feel very rushed considering you have to drive to the place or be staying at the hotel and there are no walk ins this should not be the way and they make you feel they can’t wait to get your table back plus give your staff some new shoes and a bit of polish not very smart look considering your next to the cave hotel

The best meal I’ve had and the hosts were great and excellent service. Had a coffee in the cowgirl lounge and a stunning venue with wonderful music. After eating at the riverside KCG which is also amazing it didn’t disappoint! The Beef Burnt ends (side) is enough for 4 and the most amazing sauce and the beef is amazing!!!! Loved the K Cluck burger and so many flavours in it. If you do order it don’t get the Yang Nyum wings as it’s the same sauce and quite rich (good to have variety) . The tater tots are gorgeous! Loved the American Smash burger. Can’t wait for our next meal.

Popped in for some lunch and so glad we did as the place has completely changed since we came about 7 years ago the food was so tasty and the waiter was spot on 😎 we will be coming back and now we we have seen how good the restaurant is we will stay in the hotel next time 🛌 thanks for a great lunch 😎

Vast trendy restaurant with amazing food and good service. Dark and atmospheric with tables and a bar. Secluded setting with adjacent hotel. Reminded me of an upmarket nightclub.

The reason vampires refuse garlic is that one went here and was completely scarred for life. The rice and beef were overcooked, to which the waiter replied it is because the burgers are thin, which is also very true. The portions are small but expensive. A single portion for the BBQ would be £35, which is not worth as it is nowhere near that quality. The food was too garlicky that some dishes were inedible, to which the waiter told us it is the way it is, but it did not taste anything like Korean food. We asked them to remove the inedible dishes from the bill, but they refused. I have seen other reviews talk of the same response to their bad food. If you want good Korean food, go elsewhere. If you are staying at the hotel and have the money to waste, then check it out. Especially if you have a date you want an excuse not to kiss at the end of the night.

Me and my two daughters had Christmas Day dinner at the Cave eating in the Korean Cowgirl. it was fantastic a really lovely experience, we couldn't fault it, the food or the service everything was perfect. I think we will be making this a yearly tradition now.

Very up-market restaurant situated at a Golf club near to Canterbury. Nicely done out modern interior. This is where the cool people go to eat. I'll be honest the unisex toilets is a no from me. Plenty of parking including chargers for Tesla and Porsche electric cars. Food was good but I've had better. Friendly staff.

Food and service was amazing here however we were really disappointed with the desert - for £21.00, this wasn’t what we had expected and was a bit of a disappointing finish, raised this with the waiter however nothing was done, however other then this was a lovely evening.

We had a Christmas party at cave served by Korean Cow Girl and the food was the best Christmas dinner variation I ever had.

Not a great experience for a first time visit. Service was incredibly lame - the staff just didn’t seem on the ball at all. 20 mins just to take a drinks order isn’t ideal (only a few covers were present in the restaurant at this point). The meat board was good by way of the meats being cooked very well, but the amount of salt used was just excessive - even Salt BAE would have difficulty sprinkling that amount of salt on meat. Our mouths were burning and many, many bottles of mineral water were consumed as a result of how salty the meat was. Further drink orders were placed only to be waiting for 15 mins for them to arrive (only after I prompted one of the waiters to bring our drinks to the table). I was then presented with a £18 service charge which I felt was not deserved owing to the front of house staff not providing a dining experience that, at a bare minimum, was hoped for. I opted to pay £5 instead only to be told by the waiter “I’ll remove the whole charge”. He was obviously aware of the poor service we had received. I’m sorry, but I won’t be returning nor will I recommend this restaurant.

I love the food here! I find the staff much friendlier and happier here than the Canterbury branch. The unisex toilets are a shame! For such an upmarket place, why not have female, male and one for those who don’t want to use the F/M? Uncomfortable experience as a female to say the least.

Booked here with some friends as heard that it was meant to be quite nice. Unfortunately we were all really disappointed. Firstly I want to note that Danielle our waitress was extremely attentive and knew the menu inside out and gave amazing service. We ordered starters, mains and dessert. 2 out of our 6 starters arrived then about 10 mins later another 2 then another 2 shortly after. They were tasty but not long after the final starter arrived they started to bring out our main meals, we had not even finished our starters. We ordered the BBQ meat board for 3 which was ok but nothing amazing, and some burgers, we was then waiting for around 15/20 mins mins for the fries and other sides to arrive. I personally wouldn't return. Bill was £750 for 6 people and I have had better meals and cheaper at top restaurants in London.

Visited Friday 10th Nov in the evening to make use of their lounge catch up on some work in a calm sociable bar environment. From the receptionist to the waiting staff, everyone was polite friendly, accommodating and genuinely chatty. Rob the senior in the lounge was more than helpful with any of my requests, providing quick service with a smile, clearly enjoying himself. The team definitely knew how to work together and orchestrate the show smoothly and seamlessly while able to have a laugh at the same time. Definitely recommend this place if you want to be looked after by the best people for delicious food & drink.

First time visitors, for my wife’s birthday and enjoyed the experience from start to end. Greeted by Fiona who makes a great Strawberry Daquiri, as well as providing polite conversation. Seated and served by Rob who as a waiter was a dream as courteous, polite, patient and a fountain of knowledge in regards to the menu. Split 12 chicken wings, catering for personal preferences alongside a burger, again to personal preference as well as sharing french fries. Superb, demolished the lot feeling full but not too full, accompanied by Merlot Anuela ! We will be back ! Thank you for making my wife, Elaine, feel very special on her birthday.

We loved Korean Cowgirl in Canterbury so thought this would be just as good considering they are the same chain. Boy was I mistaken. The food took ages to come, it arrived practically cold, we ordered boneless bites and my partner found a big bone in his. We complained and had the boneless bites taken off the bill but the fact of the matter is you shouldn't be serving 'boneless' items with huge bones in them! Also a rip off.

Visited here for my partner’s birthday we stayed in the cave hotel and booked in the Halloween event at the Korean cowgirl . It was amazing the service is breath taking at how good it was due to previously reading the reviews. our experience was the complete opposite and will definitely will be returning . Ruyman was our waiter for the Halloween event as well as breakfast the following morning he is 100% a credit to the restaurant .He always had a smile on his face and a sense of humour that made it enjoyable to be there as well as his service altogether always making sure everything was good and seeing if we needed anything else. He uses his initiative in situations that the majority of people don’t. For example, I had a fresh fruit platter for breakfast but no plate he realised this and brought one over straight away. Thank you to all the team at the Halloween even that made our experience here amazing . I have nothing bad to say about it , those with reviews regarding prices or the service you 100% get your moneys worth

Great place for a special meal but a bit pricey. Went for the Halloween Special Event set meal on 31st. Delicious food but some more vegetables would have been healthier but the meat dishes were wonderful. Great atmosphere and great service. Amazing cocktails! Fun spooky effects and ghostly walkers! A fun evening. Will go next year too.

Oh my word. Where to start, I only wish we'd been on Google and TripAdvisor to read the reviews beforehand, because I can state with absolute confidence that every bad review I have read about this restaurant is likely 100% true. We stayed at The Cave (which is stunning btw) for my partners 30th and decided to book a nice meal at the Korean Cowgirl. Big mistake. (The worst thing is, the restaurant knew it was her 30th). Firstly, it felt more like a nightclub than a restaurant. We were handed an old tatty looking menu, and both decided to order the Brisket. 3 awful looking pieces of meat turned up on each of our plates (at £35 each) and the thing I noticed immediately was the overpowering smell. The closest thing I can liken it to is diarrhoea. We both looked at each other, tried one mouthful and pushed our plates away. It tasted as bad as it looked and smelled. Vile. The waitress asked us if we'd like her to remove it from the bill (would have thought this was obvious) and informed us she'd be back to take our order, but she didn't return. In the meantime the manager (a Portuguese man) came to remove the Brisket from the table, and when we told him what was wrong with it we were greeted with a rude attitude and he just sort of made a face and raised his eyebrows, then asked us if we've ever had Brisket before. Tired of waiting for the waitress to come back we flagged down a waiter and both ordered the Signature Smash burger. My burger arrived, but my partners didn't. It was a sad, small burger, dripping with grease and just slapped in the middle of the plate looking like someone had punched the top of it. An absolute mess. I had no choice but to start eating it so it didn't go cold, whilst my partner waited for hers and watched me eat. 15 minutes later, still no food for her. We called the waitress over who told us she'd find out what had happened. Close to 10 minutes later she eventually returned and stated that because we had ordered a gluten free bun for my partner the chef had to scrape the grill (!?) Why not tell us that initially? Why not bring our food out together?! So almost 25 minutes after my food arrived and had been eaten, my partner got her burger. Another sad, sorry little burger that was dripping with grease. She had to literally PICK the gristle out of it. The waitress then came to the table and asked if the burger was OK, to which we replied "No, it's really not". I then went on to explain how disappointed we are, how all we wanted was to have a nice meal for my partners 30th and it had been horrendous. I informed her of the managers attitude too, which she must have mentioned to him as he returned to our table as nice as pie and offered us a free drink. Eventually we just ended up paying for a bottle of wine and two portions of fries. I am mortified that The Cave would have this restaurant on their property, especially given so many terrible reviews on here. One 30th Birthday meal, ruined.

Daughter visited restuarant with boyfriend to celebrate her birthday. Only had one course each no starter or sweet, coke and one alcoholic drink, bill over £100.Minimal tasteless and dry food portions, left feeling she had not eaten. Waiter's trousers akin to what she would expect on a building site, very unattentive and rude. Better service and value at McDonalds. Continually pestered to order more drinks and tip added automatically. Totally ruined birthday and a total rip-off. Says she will never go back.

A Korean Texas BBQ, what's not to love!

So we visited this place with another couple, who between us all we had plenty of experience in BBQ, catering, and plenty of other restaurant knowledge. The first waiter at the table for the drinks was very good and extremely attentive. When it came to being seated it felt like as we were not dressed in the latest trend (men in tight trousers, no socks and loafers, and ladies with large chests, virtually no skirt and big lips) we were placed back in the bar area. This may sound sour but you could see the difference between who was at our end and who was in the restaurant. So let’s get to the food. Brisket popcorn without the brisket and I’m not messing, if you blinked you’d of missed it. Oh and the was £7 for a bag of popcorn the could have been great. Main course was a sharing board with dry ribs with barely any meat and an extremely sweet sauce. Burt ends that were tough, and that should never happen! Pulled pork that was flavourless and moving into the dry. An extremely dry and crumbly sausage again lacking in flavour as all the moisture had been cooked out of it. I mean I don’t know what they were trying to achieve with this sausage. Turkey was good but not really enough of a portion to go round and the chicken wings were again lacking. All in all a very poor experience.

Rob and Alain are the two of the best servers I’ve had the pleasure of meeting. They are always there when you need them and are more than happy to cater to your needs. The food is delicious but overpriced, you pay more for the atmosphere.

Tex MEX blended with Korean food is really nice, not cheap but nice costs nowadays. Would have given 5 stars but the lighting on our table was a bit dark and the music just too loud for good conversation, but not a deal-breaker! Nice to try somewhere a bit different .

Recently our family had a breakfast at the Cave. Breakfast was lovely. Michaela our waitress was very helpful and lovely personality.

Looked forward to a meal at this restaurant after looking at the website. This was an anniversary present and went with friends The ambience of this restaurant was great but there it stops. We ordered starters which were good but expensive and sparse, halfway through eating them our main course arrived! I commented that we were still eating and the waitress replied that the food is served when ready and irrespective of whether you are still eating your first course or not she said we should have been advised of this when ordering . I ordered the burger which was just small soft roll with a beef pate burger instead ( similar to what you get at Macdonalds !!) chips were extra I did enjoy the evening but that was due to the fabulous company we had , I was very left feeling very disappointed and embarrassed by the size of a very expensive bill

Beautiful place, elegant atmosphere and fantastic food! We ordered the meat platter, Mac and cheese and the parmesan with Cajun corn and everything was absolutely delicious. It's not cheap, but it's worth it!

Gorgeous barbecued food with a Korean twang, no idea why it’s not higher rated! ..Ok so I just read the reviews and maybe they had taken the negatives on board, the loud music, salty everything, slacking service, because all of these were fine last week when we visited, we have previously been where the music has been really loud but not this time.
