The best restaurants serving American food in North West

Fun place, love the quirky decor. We used to LOVE the pizza before they changed the menu to the pizza slabs, and we’d drive 45 mins to visit here. Really disappointed with the change in pizza base as we just don’t enjoy these anymore. Ideal location for the beach and lake, we would also come for a walk before eating and as it’s dog friendly this suited all our needs. Please bring back the thin pizza bases! The loaded Cajun fries are still yummy :) staff friendly and welcoming.

Food terrible, not all items delivered. Food was cold and only half of drinks turned up. Tried to call restaurant 15 times without getting answer

The service from the staff was brilliant, free bottle of chilled water and a small bag of popcorn while waiting for food and drink to arrive. The main meal was fantastic, the onion rings are huge. Pricey but well worth it for the whole experience Definitely recommended

Held my daughter's 21st birthday party on the 29th March'25 here. Everyone had a fantastic time. The venue, food and service where excellent. Most of all the staff where absolutely brilliant. Ed, Wes, Mickey & Co. looked after us. I would highly recommend this place as a party / event venue. Thank you for making my daughters day so special for her!

Quick service but a bit expensive for a bog standard meal

Poulton : My husband was on crutches after a knee replacement but was not offered by the greeter a table on the same level ( there were some) but managed to navigate some steps. Not a massive issue but could have been for others. The entrance and car park looks a bit dank, dark and uninviting, I missed the entrance initially and then thought it was closed down. Most Miller and carter's I have been to are nice buildings. Inside was a bit dated n chairs a bit grubby. Our server Lee howevery was lovely and attentive and took note of our daughters allergy to onions. Starters n Steaks were very nice (although the lobster tail was tiny) and service was good. Probably won't be back. There are plenty other nice restaurants in the area. It's pricey but if its good food and nice atmosphere we don't mind this. This place only hit one of the two.

The food was lovely,the chef was amazing(Emma)t bone steak BANGING! The service wasn't as good as were used to,other than this experience was great. Just need to work on up selling,as I bought a glass of prosecco but wasn't told about the fizz Friday. I still rate a 5. Just a little bit more polishing on certain things.

A really great little pub/bar off the main street. Great food and friendly staff. Lovely little place

Had a lovely meal at miller and carter Heaton chapel, Alex was our server and was so friendly and made a fuss of my father in law who was celebrating his 80th birthday. Alex is a credit to miller & caret and I would definitely return due to her friendliness.

The very kind shop staff I was very grateful they know that I was about to graduate and gave this little gift.

We had such a lovely time as a family, we were looked after by mia and olivia was lovely Sunday dinner the trio dinner we had was lovely and the pork was delicious 🥰

Great service nice portions and freshly made and the staff member Sabiha was a friendly team member and she served my food perfectly
