Great service nice portions and freshly made and the staff member Sabiha was a friendly team member and she served my food perfectly

Based on evening meal experience 26/04/25 Food Portion sizes were very poor. 5 of us ordered steak, all were noticeably undersized. Some ordered the meatballs or chicken wing starters - 4 very small meatballs and 2 chicken wings per portion. I have never been anywhere where you would receive 2 chicken wings as a portion. Seriously, not even worth plating up. Service Staff were polite but clearly inexperienced, making the experience clumsy and a little awkward. This is fine, everyone has to learn somewhere, but this was a Saturday night - they should be using their A team. The automatically applied service charge (10%) should be made optional until they get their house in order. Atmosphere Unremarkable - scaffolding planks on the walls, big mirrors and the occasional cow skull for that authentic wild west in the north of England vibe. Strangely there was only one, single cubicle unisex toilet for the entire restaurant. Not great.

Steak was amazing melts in your mouth, beer is cold staff friendly and attentive, been many times and will be back

We visited the property and had a fantastic time. The server was called Lucy who suggested the cocktails for the ladies whilst us guys stuck with beer and cider.She then asked about the meal and what we might want to add to the pre ordered beef rib.We decided on a sharing platters with extra brisket. The platter consists of 5 meats 3 sides and wraps and brioche hotdog buns.We then had 3 desserts consisting of peanut butter cookies and ice cream (2 )and churros with sauce.This was a great Texas barbecue and if your in the Kendal area you can get takeaway as well.Don't worry if you far away, they deliver online for you to heat up.The best Texas barbecue outside of Texas.

Fun place, love the quirky decor. We used to LOVE the pizza before they changed the menu to the pizza slabs, and we’d drive 45 mins to visit here. Really disappointed with the change in pizza base as we just don’t enjoy these anymore. Ideal location for the beach and lake, we would also come for a walk before eating and as it’s dog friendly this suited all our needs. Please bring back the thin pizza bases! The loaded Cajun fries are still yummy :) staff friendly and welcoming.

Walked past it today and it has had to close written on the door. It just said for unseen circumstances. It is a shame as it was a very nice cafe/restaurant.

First time here but hopefully not the last. Had the lunch menu. I had meatballs as a starter and Chicken Melt for the main. Glad I didn't go for three courses as the portions were really generous. Will be back.

Fabulous service from Jess at bottomless brunch. Really attentive and great drink recommendations. Would recommend.

Steak to die for. Heavenly, melt in the mouth. Quite expensive per meal, but on the whole it's great. Lovely views of the docks.
