Came to Manchester for the first time last weekend. Always love a good hard rock cafe, foods always great and service too. We had the fortune of meeting Andrew our server, and wanted to give him a shout out in the hope he's recognised for his epic customer service, professionalism and friendliness. Happily helping us out, getting us fed and talking about Manchester and where to visit.. he's clearly in love with the city and his passion hearing about various history and places to check out was lovely. He made this visit, it's always unusual to come across a waiter so positive and generally happy to talk to you! Props to Andrew. Hard rock is built on people like yourself, without people like yourself it's just another restaurant. The restaurant itself is big, plenty of seating, great atmosphere, great music importantly and great food.

Good location in center / food / service .. bit pricy

Mac and cheese is bland. Over priced. Torpelo chicken and chips. Bland. over priced. Tots nice but over priced. Nachos nice. Boneless chicken wings half of them were inedible chicken - brown meat, joked it must have been a buffalo mouse! Service was good but not personable - doing a job! Wrong drinks twice. Overall, for the cost, and the meh food, wouldn’t return! Atmosphere is always loud and usually enjoyable. £5 for guac in a small tub - robbery.

It was a wonderful experience I always go to Hard Rock cafe and the one in Manchester definitely won my heart. Thanks Leroy for being amazing.

My girlfriend and I visited Hard Rock Cafe for my birthday and we had a lovely time, our waitress Emily was attentive and helpful despite service being busy. Food was amazing and very filling, the Hot Fudge Brownie is immense!

We came yesterday after an event we attended in Manchester, having never been before we were excited to try the food. The loaded tots were lovely, but I wasn't keen on the bbq trio. Which was unfortunate as the atmosphere of the place is great and the staff are attentive.

Was very quiet when we visited so was lacking any atmosphere and the Ribs seem to have gone downhill since my last visit. Staff great as always though.

Gabs was very good, nothing was too much trouble 10/10

We were greeted by Steven who was our table host, my partner was coeliac, so was Steven which was brilliant as he provided all of his knowledge for the menu, got us a GF menu and took our drink orders. The manager Rik then came over to calm us down again with the whole process, explained how they have regularly sanitised areas for all GF food and said Steven is our perfect man! Steven was great, took his time with us, even had a little chat. He was so friendly and honestly made the night fantastic for us! It was our first time at Hard Rock Cafe and it won’t be our last! One of the best experiences we’ve had in a long time! Steven is a credit to the team and we couldn’t have been happier with our night!

The employees are very nice, attentive and accommodating! The shop is fantastic, all sizes are in stock. The ambience is outstanding, for me it is one of the most beautiful Hard Rock Cafes next to Orlando! The food is, as usual, delicious and fresh. Our server was quite rude. He told us we couldn't order a drink until everyone arrived. He was very stressed I could see so we didn't moan.. but we won't be going back. Last time I went to a hard rock the staff were amazing..A bouncer also appeared half way through out meal staring at everyone which made us uncomfortable 😐...don't go I'd advise 😅

Ribs and chicken dry, portions weren't great and drinks were meh. I know it's a chain but used to have much better standards

We called in on a Saturday evening, the place was busy, so we had to wait for a table to become free. We had drinks while waiting, plenty of choice and free top ups for the soft drinks ( lemonade in our case ). The staff were really helpful and polite. Got seated and handed the menu, not really a lot of choice once you discount the burgers. I opted for salmon which should have come with mash and vegetables but they'd ran out of mash, so chips where offered. The vegetables where just green beans ( had more of them on my plate than chips). Although tasty, it didn't meet my expectations and left feeling underwhelmed.

Visiting the area, usually a bit put off by chain restaurants but the food and service here was fantastic! The waitress was attentive, polite and made suggestions on food. The kids meals were a good side and the adult meals.... special Messi burger and trio bbq smoke house were fantastic.

We had a brilliant experience at the Hard Rock Cafe in Manchester,I love visiting the Hard rock cafes in different cities time and time again .The Manchester branch has to take the crown for the best branch.The cafe made my birthday so special by giving me balloons and I loved the sing song too,made me feel like a celebrity.Mimi our server was amazing,gave us great reccomendations,was so friendly,on the ball with the drinks and great with my Gluten allergy.Our other servers were fantastic too.The best customer service we have received in Hard Rock Cafe.The strawberry basil lemonade is delicious and comes with a free glass.The food was brilliant,the chicken wings for starters were amazing and the blue cheese dip and celery were lovely.I wanted the hot fudge brownie so I went for a lighter Main,The pork sandwich was fine,the coleslaw,gluten free bun and pickles were tasty.The pork was okay.The chips however in the side were delicious.The hot fudge brownie was absolutely delicious and insanely nice!The atmosphere felt like I was in a completely different world full of rock music it was so lovely,the music selection was divine.The toilets were also really cool with the lyrics and clean same as the restaurant.The memorabilia is fantastic.The shop is great too,I love my new Manchester T-shirt and got a guitar and glass.It is quite expensive in the shop.would highly recommend this Hard Rock Cafe.A lovely meal with quality food,service,music and memrobilia that dosent break the back(some of the mains here are actually cheaper than a Harvester in London)!

Lovely place but after 10% vat and the server telling us we have to pay £9 service charge but if we didn’t agree we were to have a word with the manager I thought that was disgusting and greedy day light robbery actually.

This review is slightly late as we visited around a month ago. My partner and I were gifted a virgin experience to use at Hard Rock Manchester. The memorabilia they have on display is awe inspiring and the staff went above and beyond to make our first experience an unforgettable one! Particularly our server, Gemma. Gemma told us facts about the business and what they had displayed and made everything run so smoothly. Gemma was also kind enough to give us a discount card for the shop in the Cafe unfortunately we didn't have time to use this. Gemma made us laugh and made the experience that bit more special for us! We can't wait to return to try some more wonderful food and gawk at the wonders on display x

Never been before give it a try ,it was excellent -a great food and service and atmosphere was electric and the food was to die for ,music was grovy .

Won't be coming back to this one again, we had to pay £5 for guac which came out in a small pot, when asked if we could get more for our money the response we got was "do you know how much an avocado is?". Not a great response, the chicken was all dry and chewy and crisp stale, the boneless bites were close to not edible too. What a shame they didn't deal with our issues at all.

Nicer Hard Rock Cafe than the one in Newcastle. Good vibes and food. Very suitable for people with allergies.

Friday night, live music and happy 'hour' until closing time.

Yesterday, 18th July, my wife and I came in with our young Grandchild. He tired and got very upset, crying and screaming. The staff were so wonderful and understanding. Eventually, I had to take him out while my wife ate, then we swapped. When I got back, all of my food was redone fresh and we can not thank you enough. ALL of yesterday's staff get a huge 5 stars from us both

Great visit here at the weekend. The staff were really attentive, even making a cocktail not on the menu because I fancied something with ginger. The food was really tasty, the atmosphere was good and the memorabilia around the place is interesting. All in all a very enjoyable lunch time!!

Food at this place is just bad. Mac and Cheese was tasteless. No flavour at all, completely bland... Good that salt was on the table. Brownie was very powdery, like you eat baking powder and dry... Our plates weren't wiped well and covered with stains. Staff were really nice but that's the only positive about this place. Edit 13/07/24. 1st visit wasn't very good but we got a chance to visit again today and completely different experience with food. We ordered BBQ combo and BBQ ribs. All delicious, in very sweet sauce. Cheese-bacon chips and beans were really good as well. Service excellent, lovely staff like the first time 🤩! Really enjoyable visit 🌟!

I’ll start by saying the service was good; the staff were friendly and attentive. The food was really not good, the chips had a weird taste almost like foist(?) I don't know it was just not good. I couldn’t eat half of the chicken and my friend had only 2 bites of her burger. It felt like a really overpriced Wetherspoons… Growing up I loved Hard Rock Cafe, it always felt like a really unique and cool place with delicious food but they’ve just never updated with the times and it now feels like a place from a bygone era. Any of the heart it used to have seems to be gone completely.

Hamburger, beer, special drinks, and very friendly staff. Highly recommended.

Second visit to this Hard Rock. Usual good options but they stood out for their gluten free menu, it was nice for the person in our party who has coeliac disease not to have to worry, a waiter came over to explain how things are prepared and he himself had coeliacs. Ribs were a bit more tough than usual but tasted good, juice was replaced because the syrup had gone off. Good experience.

The only reason I come to Manchester, well one of them, always visit the HRC

Amazing cafe with great music, great food, good vibe and convenient location. We had the salmon dish with a side of mashed potatoes and french beans, it was a great meal for me in Manchester city! For dessert, we had a piece of chocolate cake and whipped cream, the frosting was overly sweet, so we only eat the brownies🥰

Nice and large Hard Rock Cafe in the typical Hard Rock style. The food is great and typical Hard Rock and the service was good and quick. Everything was right, despite a few special requests.

We were here for Pearl Jam pre party. Incredible atmosphere, with talented live band. Prices were fair, beer great and food tasty. All staff were super cool

Visited for my sisters hen do on Saturday at 7:30pm. Our table wasn't quite ready when we arrived so we were directed to the bar to get a drink while we waited. There were only 2 other people waiting to be served and only one person serving - and not serving fast at that! we waiting over 10 mins to even be acknowledged! Once I finally got another member of staffs attention, our order was taken, and a member of staff arranged for the drinks to be delivered to our, now ready, table. Once we were seated the staff were great and the food was good. Just a little disappointed if got off to a slow start!

Came to the Hard Rock Cafe as part of a friends stag do. The staff were very professional and talkative, but the food was disappointing, even more so knowing that we primarily came here for the food. Myself and 3 others got the Fahitas which start at a cost of £17.95 and go up depending on ingredients. Sadly the picture on the menu felt a little misleading. My chicken fahitas came with what appeared to be half of a butterflied grilled chicken breast (photo shows a full breat) ontop of some mostly raw bell peppers and onions. It was accompanied by a plate of lettus, pico de gallo, cheese, sour cream and was meant to have guacamole but I don't think the kitchen felt like giving me any today :/. All this with 4 tortillas. My issue is the quantity, I had 4 tortillas but the small amount of meat meant I only really had enough for either 3 wraps or had to under fill them. Second was the crazy amount of veg, even after filling my wraps as much as possible I was still left with half of the filling being left on the plate. This also had the issue of feeling like I was just eating spring rolls rather that fahitas as the small amount of meat combined with a huge amount of veg made the chicken disappear in the wrap. Moreover, the tortillas are taco sized meaning each are gone in like 3 bites. 2 of my friends ordered the meat free fahitas and told the staff they were vegan, however the order came out with cheese and sour cream which obviously caused some frustration. The sour cream could be ignored as it was placed in a seperate serving container but all the veg and cheese is plated together in one big pile so they have to pick out all the cheese which made an already disappointing meal even more irritating. When considering the price, which for my plate was £4.50 per tortilla! (and even more for my friends) and that I walked out still feeling hungry, I feel I can get far better tasting food and get more value for money elsewhere and my party of 14 see no reason to re-attend.

Love hard rock cafe as a brand but the food let's you down these days. Everything tastes really greasy, onion rings and chicken goujons are inedible due to how greasy they are. The rock shop is good but way too small. Hardly anything there 😞

Its pretty much as its always been. Fairly slow service, food is good but not really anything to shout about. Cocktails were hit and miss. Mojito was good but long island ice tea was almost unrecognisable. Worth a trip but not worth going out of your way for with so much choice in the city centre

Typical HRC venue so you know what you're in for. Standard HRC fare but never had a bad meal at any HRC. Service was good. Early evening visit, was busy but felt quite relaxed.

The starters were so big enough for 2 i thought there would b option for sharing starter or a normal portion size but noo.. out came my sharing size chicken wings in bbq sauce.. burger for main really nice and good quality.. staff were really nice and friendly. Will definitely be back. Oh and nice cocktail selection 👌

We were served by the wonderful Mimi. I was here with my Autistic brother, she was so friendly and warm, she explained the menu and any deals available and checked in with us to make sure we were ok. It's close to Piccadilly, making it a great location for newcomers to Manchester. I wanted to become even better at English. Thank you for a fun time!

Me and my sister went for lunch, she is gluten intolerant, so she got a separate menu, the manager came and ask if she just ate gluten free or was coeliac my sister said she was coeliac the Manager explained how they prepared everything in a separate area and there would be no cross contamination her food would have a purple flag so others in the kitchen would know we were both very impressed with the service especially for gluten free, well done HRC both of our choices of food was lovely my sister had a burger on gf bun with fry’s

On entering the place needs a good cleaning and refurbishing Staff were good very pleasant and friendly even the new girl who served us The menu is very small hidden in a magazine and the prices were very expensive so we thought it should be decent quality but we were wrong Buffalo Wings to start came with cheep plain mayo Burgers for mains mine was pink in the middle and as it isn’t legal to serve burgers under 75c in England and I didn’t fancy raw mince I asked for another one cooked through please To be told we cook burgers med/rare here !! But my friends burger was cooked through so not sure what happened there Burgers were tasteless Two drinks each cocktails that were very weak All this for the kingly sum of £94 Yes a total rip off Service : good Drinks : poor Food : really really bad

We visited Manchester for the night (from Newcastle) and we thought we’d give Hard Rock Cafe a whirl. We’ve tried quite a few around the uk. This was the best experience I’ve ever had dining at Hard Rock. We pre-booked and were led to our seats (only issue we had was my disabled mother-in-law found the stairs difficult and we were placed on the top floor) We had the amazing Jesus Ramon as our server and he was absolutely fantastic throughout! He was so full of energy and just made us smile for the rest of the day! Absolutely fantastic human being. The food was absolutely amazing. We had burgers and cocktails and I’ve honestly not had a better meal. The woman downstairs at the shop was amazing too! She greeted us and noticed we were geordies and she was absolutely amazing! Honestly if you get the chance get yourself to Hard Rock Manchester ❤️🎸

Bit of a long review for this one. As someone who used to come here a lot, to the point where the staff recognised me, it has changed a lot in the last 2 years and it’s definitely not the place it was anymore. The last few times I’ve been it’s been extremely lacklustre because the current staff quite frankly can’t be arsed - find it difficult to crack a smile, one waiter will be serving 10 other tables so you’ll have to go up to the bar to get your drinks, nothing personable - you’ll get better service at maccies. The absolute gall they have to add a service charge on top of the already overpriced food and drinks is crazy. Also, I get that they have to appeal to the masses, but the fact that hard rock is RARELY ever played in the “hard rock” cafe is extremely frustrating - it’s literally just chart music that you’d hear in a canal street club with every maybe 15th song being one of the rock genre; I’ve heard more rock n roll in a bingo hall… one thing to note is that the taps in the women’s toilets NEVER work, not sure what kind of system it is but you’ll be stood for 15 minutes trying to get a 5 second burst of water out of them whilst your hands are covered in soap. Bring back the days when they’d have the ticketed events and you could see black sabbath for £10 whilst off your face on cheap cocktails. This place is literally just tgi fridays with a few guitars stuck on the wall now. If you’ve read this far, we saw a mouse running around by our feet on the top floor a few months ago whilst we were eating. So take that as you will! (The 2 stars are for the happy hour cocktails but the vibe is so terrible we can’t bare to sit in there whilst consuming them anymore)

Probably not the best place to take an autistic child! We had a table booked for 6.15pm, midweek in the Easter holidays. It must have been heavy rock hour as the music was pretty hard going. It mellowed a bit after a while though but it was still a bit loud for our son. We got 15% off our bill using our Football Museum tickets & it was happy hour with two4one on cocktails & some beers. You don't get much for your money these days and while we enjoyed our food, it was just missing some coleslaw or something

Everything about this Café is just amazing. The staff is helpful, the atmosphere is great. We had fajitas, which were fantastic. The Rock band was fabulous as well. We told them we're here for a birthday and they gave us a dessert as a birthday present! It was so lovely! I don't know the name of the staff but I think it was Kaitlin or something like that, she is super helpful and friendly. We'll definitely come back.
