If I could give -10 stars for service I would. Went here to celebrate two friends birthday and took a surprise birthday cake… the server spoiled the birthday cake surprise to the birthday girls before we got chance to bring the cake out and then we left the cake there to pick up tomorrow.. a full large cake that serves 48. When going to pick this up it was revealed that the staff had EATEN the cake! It was very clear and confirmed by two staff we could come back the following day to collect so I was shocked to find this out. When speaking to manager Chris about my disappoint he was rude, unprofessional and didn’t seem to care about the situation. No responsibility taken and no apology or response to fix/help the situation. Very disappointing!!

Hired out a room for my friends birthday. Service was soo good and food was banging! Thank you Wesley for looking after us!

WOW!!! Food is amazing and very tasty, Turkish eggs is tops. Staff were very friendly and good banter with the girl whilst waiting for our table. Highly recommend, not the cheapest but worth it

So I literally got dragged in this place on the way past. Decor was nice, it was relatively empty so being an introvert yeah, I thought this'll do. You can order at the table, only when you order it asks for gratuity on payment before you've even had any service??? Ok so as we are poor, and hadn't had service yet we paid for the food and drinks we ordered without adding a tip in advance. The drinks arrived first and the girl serving she didn't even speak to us. Hey I said I'm introverted how did you know I didn't want to talk, ha! She seemed miserable. Anyway we had a nice chat between ourselves the atmosphere was relaxing the food came out, we had to remind the server we needed cutlery after we asked if they had any sauces which she didn't ask or offer. The food was to a good standard. We ate our food and left, however gratuity wasn't something that should be expected if the server had been more accommodating we would have left a tip.

Unfortunately an hour into our brunch, a group came in and accused our amazing server of being rude to which she responded professionally and courteous of other customers, despite this we had an amazing time and all felt as though Rosie should have been given an apology.

We had a hen party brunch here. The food was tasty and drinks selection was good.

Tasteless food, slow, unfriendly service, expensive for how bad it was. Do not order newyork bagel, tasted of nothing, I can't understand how even the lettuce and tomatoes were tasteless. The mayonnaise on bagel and for dipping chips also tasteless.

Went for a bottomless brunch and was disappointed by the lack of drink selection. The food arrived cold and was definitely not worth the price. Asked for the bill after 3 rounds because of the severe disappointment and still played full price. This brunch is definitely not worth 85£.

Minimum stars that I could give. The cocktails are OVERPRICED £30 for 2 cocktails!!!) and wattery. The bartender avoided eye contact while I was trying to ask for the prosecco shot he missed for one of the cocktails. Cheap athmosphere dirty tables and floors and young people who I don't know how they got in there given there's security at the entrance...I wouldn't go there ever again.

I arrived with friends for a booking of 7 people for bottomless brunch. We were shown to our table which was a booth. This booth was clearly only designed to seat 6 people (3 on each side). There was absolutely no way 4 people could have sat on one side and ate and drank comfortably. We politely asked our waiter for another chair to sit at the end of the table but what can only be described as a high chair was brought over. We then asked if there was any chance we could move to another table which is when the manager came over. This is where the problem lies. The manager literally couldn’t care less about our complaint. There was no attempt to resolve the situation at all, we were simply told that there were no other tables and parties of 7+ have sat at these booths without complaint before. We would have understood if there was some level of understanding/compassion but he literally couldn’t care less. Instead, one of our friends had to sit on this ridiculous high chair whilst the rest of us sat in a booth. Then, after receiving our first glass of Prosecco basically on arrival and ordering our cocktails, we were then waiting an additional 40 minutes before anyone even came to us with another drink. We had to go and ask for more Prosecco and where our cocktails were. Again, usually acceptable in a busy bar but when you’ve paid for a time limited bottomless service waiting over 40 minutes for a drink is unacceptable. Really disappointed considering this was for a 30th birthday. It was supposed to be a lovely celebration but we all felt frustrated and just couldn’t wait to leave by the end. On a positive note, our waiter was lovely and very apologetic and couldn’t do enough for us when things weren’t going to way we’d expected. It was the manger who clearly couldn’t be bothered to engage with us/try and help us.

Ted was amazing waiter 10/10 give him a pay rise !!! So much nicer than everyone else !! Manager was rude. Ted made us feel welcome and ensured I have a really good birthday

Our server Emily was amazing! Had bottomless at 6:30pm and she has been an amazing host. Food and drink were both spot on.

Ordered a steak medium rare and This came cold, and well done. There was 6 of us and they managed to make every single piece of food cold and tasteless. Waitresses are rude and unaccommodating. Also took 40mins to take our food order.

Just walked out after being ignored at the bar for 15 minutes. Appx 13:15 (18/05) Saturday afternoon and I was the only person at the bar so not exactly rammed…… I was going to comment to the guy at the door with the flared trousers (I don’t know his name) but he seemed engrossed with the door opening/closing mechanism as I left.

Absolute unorganised chaos. This place can’t seem to handle large bookings and there appears to be no communication between staff members at all. We came to Manhatta for a ‘bottomless party’ for a hen do. Myself and my friend had a drink in the bar before the rest of our group got there. We ordered two gin and tonics and were given gin and soda water (which is not nice) with a sad slice of lime at a grand price of £24. No chance of getting back to the bar to complain. At the beginning of our ‘bottomless party’ section of the evening the waiter came and checked who was there and what we had pre ordered for food. To me this means they had a list of who was there, no extra food should have been sent, those that didn’t attend would lose their deposits and everything would be square. Oh no…. To be fair, the food was passable and the drinks did keep coming at a steady rate but the problem was with the bill. The waitress told us all it would be £21.65 each and we all paid. Subsequently she came back and said we owed another £4 or so as some people hadn’t turned up. I asked why this was so as they took a ‘register’ of who was there at the beginning. They knew people weren’t there. She then told me she wasn’t aware of that and the waiter who had the list was on his break…. Obviously taking the list with him I guess! When the chap came over he explained that this had been an error and the total had been divided by the wrong amount of people and we owed £25. Fair enough I paid the £25, not knowing that the other waitress had taken this payment from others in the party. When I explained this I was met with a ‘computer says no’ scenario and told we in fact owed them £80 which was complete rubbish. The £80 was to be ‘comped’, but I’m not sure how you ‘comp’ something we didn’t owe. At the end of it there was no point continuing the argument as the staff seemed to have no clue what I was saying. I can’t speak for other people in my party but I shan’t be returning again.

Our Daughters going now 18 great place apart from a fight between lads with a smashed glass and this week had her phone stolen from handbag. Just be aware.

We had the 2 course bottomless deal on Friday evening. Booked for 6pm and it was surprisingly quiet when we arrived. Staff were attentive and drinks were topped up regularly all without have to leave your seat which was good. The food was nice, mains we had the crispy beef bowl and the karaage chicken bowl both of which were very nice. Dessert were a very rich chocolate brownie and some apple pie flavoured gyoza type things which were also nice. The drinks on offer were nice and I think we tried everything that was available on the inclusive menu. I think the only thing that would have moved it to a full 5 bubbles would have been a bigger variety of drinks. They were nice but a few were quite samey. We really enjoyed our visit though and would recommend. Would be good value in groups on a night out.

My recent visit to Manhatta for the bottomless brunch left much to be desired. From start to finish, the experience fell far short of expectations. The main issue arose with the food. Despite ordering steaks / medium rare, only one out of several was prepared to our specifications. The rest were overcooked, cold, and presented poorly. This failure in the kitchen seriously impacted our enjoyment of the meal. Furthermore, the Aperol Spritz, a drink we were looking forward to, was ruined by the fact that the Soda tap had gone. This lack of transparency is simply unacceptable. While the staff appeared courteous, their level of attentiveness was severely lacking. We had to repeatedly approach the bar ourselves to request additional drinks, and it was rare for them to check on our table to ensure our glasses were topped up or if everything was satisfactory. To make matters worse, I reached out to management via email to express my concerns and give them the opportunity to rectify this situation. However, I have yet to receive a response. This not only reflects poor customer service but also a lack of concern for ensuring a positive dining experience. Overall, my experience at Manhatta was highly disappointing. The combination of subpar food, unsatisfactory beverages, and lackluster service, coupled with the disregard for customer feedback, does not justify the premium prices charged at this establishment. Until significant improvements are made, I cannot recommend Manhatta to others seeking a quality bottomless brunch experience.

Walked in without a booking, the server managed to get us a table which was great. Food was a bit naff though, cocktails sub par. We were asked to vacate our table after 30 minutes while eating our food, shocking really. Not the best place on Deansgate. Not sure why this place has 4 stars………

My friend and I went for bottomless brunch on a rainy Wednesday and had a great time. Erin was our server and she was so lovely and friendly and very attentive keeping us well stocked up with drinks. The food came quickly and was generous and really tasty. There were plenty of drinks included to choose from and we really enjoyed everything we chose. It was fairly quiet but ideal for us as we needed a good catch up! Everywhere was clean and well presented and we had a lovely afternoon.

My experience was superb and again my table has Zara😃 and trust me she’s one super attentive and friendly lady. She made time with my family and amazing one

Absolutely awful. So, good points first, with the bottomless brunch, you get a full bottle of Prosecco. It’s also very Instagrammable if you like that kind of thing. That’s pretty much where the good ends. The WORST grilled cheese we’ve ever had. How badly can you mess up a grilled cheese? If you want to find out, head here.! If you order the chicken and waffle, prepare to be just as disappointed. It’s tiny, like, starter size. It’s not too bad tasting but, honestly, not great. I absolutely appreciate that this might not be the norm or the chef was not his his game or any other reason but the experience we had was truly atrocious. They did, however, give a partial refund as, I think, even the server accepted they’d not done great.

I loved every bit of Manahatta from the reception by Sam and to the drinks and to the lady that served my table Zara she’s the best and most beautiful lady ever with a very bright smile and she took amazing pictures of my girls

Nothing like Sheffield Manahatta! I booked here to catch up with work friends after a really great experience at Manahatta Sheffield for bottomless brunch! Manchester was awful service. Within 20 minutes of arriving and offering drinks i approached the bar to ask why our drinks hadn't arrived. The staff member told me she'd forgot to submit the order. I had asked for the time to start from us receiving our drinks by 4:30 but they said the table was booked up from 6. The entire time we were fighting to get drinks and they took forever to arrive!! The experience was stressful and frustrating. Never again!!

Do not do bottomless brunch here. 25 of us for a work leaving do. The beer served had an issue, tasted awful and therefore no beer was served for the first 30-40 minutes. Food was good but service was below average. It got to the point where we had to go and get our own bottles of Prosecco from the table because service was so slow. They then refused to provide any more prosecco. Management were rude and they went back on their word about extending our time due to the initial issues with beer. They gained over £1,000 from us and it was nowhere near that value for money.

The cheese cake was fab! However, we ordered a long double espresso, but they brought us a small cup! Hot chocolate was ok, the atmosphere was lovely though!

The manager working on 1/3 was extremely rude and abrupt to my group! Also the waiters are ignorant when you’re trying to order on the bar. Work on your service pls

We came for bottomless party and our sever Nick was excellent!!! It was only his second shift and he was so attentive, making sure we had our drinks topped up aswell as ordering us new drinks. We were also treated to free shots! We honestly a great experience and our friend had a brilliant birthday!! Thank you Nick :))

Overall good place. Drinks took a little while to be brought over, as at the time the bar/restaurant was only around 30% capacity. Food was good and aesthetics were nice/American themed.

Attended the bottomless brunch last week. Cannot fault any part of this experience. From the food to the staff. I had the Burrows Burger which was delicious. Our waiter we had was very handy in bringing the drinks over. Which made the Bottomless Brunch even better

One of my fave restaurants, food is always perfection & a cosy atmosphere. Can we please put some respect on Leigh's name?! The service he provided yesterday was spot, quick, efficient and great customer service. He ran the shift single handedly & did an amazing job too!

Stayed against my better judgment but can only say the food was good and the waitress was very polite and served us well. The menus were dirty and the mother and daughter due to level.of cleanliness. There is only 1 high chair in the venue and dirty ? This venue could do better.

visit on 18th December.2023 We did not have a booking but called for a drink to end a family weekend after seeing a show at the Bridgewater Hall. the venue looked appealing and festive, upon entering I made my way to raised booths on the left , but before we could all get there someone from the bar area signalled that it was closed, so little embarasing to walk away , no signage was there to say it was closed , and no one came to speak or apologise, i guessed it was the staff closing areas off to save cleaning later . We moved to the other side to a table one of a few that had not been cleared or cleaned and no sign of anyone coming to do this . I was going to go and ask for it to be cleared but my wife and myself moved the glasses and wiped the table with sanitizer and tissues. My daughters then went to the bar to order advertised coctails and when ordering one member of staff said to another in front of them ,(what the @@@@ is that ). We had our drink and left , we would possibly had another to finish the night but , felt a bit like the staff did not want customers and were waiting to shut . I only gave this feedback after receiving a email asking for it , as we had all said we would not be returning. I felt very disappointed at such bad service and wished we had gone elsewhere where our custom was wanted . A manager emailed from the venue asking for more details that were sent and no contact back . So i emailed the owners and again nothing back , clearly from owner , manager and staff nobody has any regard for customers or customer experiences, i would advice to stay away .

Me and my friends had booths booked with drinks and entry for NYE which we had paid for in advance and told them when booking that I would be joining later as I was coming after work. However, when they arrived, they found out that Manahatta had given one of the booths away that we had paid a lot of money for to another group. Additionally, when I got there, the door staff were rude and ignorant and refused to let me in despite me having also booked and paid to be there. Have since spoken to Manahatta and did not even receive an apology and was told to just write it all in an email that would be looked into at some point. Was my first time there and I will not be going back, especially since hearing other people’s bad experiences.

Came here for a Christmas bottomless brunch with the guys from work. Lucy our waitress was amazing, so efficient and helpful. The food and ambience were average but Lucy's service was top notch.

My son attended here for a Christmas do with 25 of his friends . Paid £500 per table , 2 in total so £1000 , the table booking was meant to include 5 bottles per table of spirits. After an hour and several complaints to uninterested staff and manager , they received one bottle of vodka and two bottles not requested or to their liking. Several more complaints later still no alcohol , getting nowhere with staff they left.

Had a table booked for 4pm on Saturday the food and drinks were amazing and staff couldn’t do enough!!! Me and my partner were never waiting to long for a drink and food came out not long after ordering which was amazing. Will definitely be coming back thank you :)

No Guinness or stout beer asked to swap the lager I was bought and was told I’d have to repay for another drink, thought I’d give this place another try after last year but avoid like the plague

Work Christmas party - nightmare from start to finish. Rude, disingenuous and incompetent staff, including ‘managers’, namely Liv and whichever ‘manager’ was on, on Saturday 2nd December. If these people were running my business for me, I’d be absolutely raging. Contacted Laurel at central reservations to enquire about booking a Xmas party for 19 of my NHS colleagues. Although originally stated that we all had to order from the same menu, in writing, Laurel agreed that 2 of my heavily pregnant colleagues could order from a different 3 course menu as they were having to pay £50 a head for their seat at the booth and could obviously not take advantage of the alcoholic drinks package. This was all agreed and I spent hours of my Sunday morning making sure all the food orders were cross checked, submitted, then I paid the full balance (the best part of £1000). A week and a half before our party, I received an email from Laurel, stating that she had spoken to the manager and that our 2 pregnant guests would have to choose from the same menu as everyone else. Laurel also cancelled my order and advised that I’d have to reorder for my colleagues - all without so much as a phone call to discuss. I contacted Manahatta and explained the situation to ‘Liam’, who said he’d speak to the manager and get back to me. 10 minutes later I receive an email from Liam telling me that he’s spoken to the manager and that our pregnant colleagues have no choice but to order from the same menu as everyone else - regardless of the fact I’d already been informed in writing that they would make an exception for them, and had paid in full. Finally I managed to get hold of the ‘manager’, Liv, who again told me that they would not honour what had already been previously agreed - giving the only excuse that ‘we would not get the best experience if we ordered from different menus’….never heard so much rubbish in my life. I informed Liv that I wanted a full refund, and that I couldn’t believe they were willing to lose the business over a £1000 worth of revenue for the sake of a couple of meals. Liv left me a disingenuous voicemail stating that they would refund us!!! Probably knowing at that point, that we wouldn’t get in anywhere else at such short notice. So we went …..and did we get ‘the best experience’?, absolutely not. The manager was exceptionally rude when ‘telling’ us to sit down and giving no reason. I’ve since concluded it was probably as they were serving food - all he had to do was say! If these people were running my business, I’d be absolutely raging. This place, and the people running it, are an absolute disgrace.

I'm sure the atmosphere is better when it's busy but Tuesday lunch was a little lacking, not the venues fault at all.

Very poor bottomless brunch last night. I asked for some beers and we waited almost 50 minutes for the barrel to be changed!! I asked for a little more Aperol in my Aperol Spritz and I was told no the barman wouldnt do this. A couple of the cocktails just tasted like sour juice. One of the girls ordered a chicken burger and she got beef (she was offered to have it swapped but it would have meant eating alone as by the time the chicken burger arrived everyone else would have finished) Food was nice but I definitely wouldn't return as there's so many other nice brunch places to choose from in Manchester.

I was visiting Manchester for two days and looked for some nice bars. On a weekday it's a nice bar with great cocktails and friendly staff. Also great non-alcoholic drinks. On weekend completely different bouncers and "no singles" door policy, which makes the idea of a bar pointless. Never had such a bad clubbing experience on a vacation.

Wow what a fantastic first experience! Our server Rowan was so attentive and friendly, are glasses where never empty service was above and beyond! He deserves employee of the month! Thankyou again I’ll be back for Christmas x

Great service from Pia! Had a few problems not receiving drinks or getting drinks with wrong mixers and servers not knowing what the drinks were and just expecting us to work it out… But apart from that the food was great and amazing atmosphere.

Great music and atmosphere. I got the burger and that was amazing. Drinks could have been stronger but that’s ok we were able to order a lot. Lucy and Rosie C were the best. Really friendly. We love them. Will definitely be back.

Had a fab time here. Food was great,drinks were plentiful and atmosphere was fab. The service was very good too!!! Would definitely recommend and also return. The only downside was we had preordered food but was told on the day they’d run out of some of the preordered food!!

The food was absolutely fantastic. I had the steak,it was so tender and cooked fantastic even though you could definitely tell it was rammed and getting busy and the servers are great, Highly recommended the bottomless bruch.

My first experience at Manahatta Deansgate was marred by an encounter with one of their bouncers. It was my first time being there, and I was shocked by how rude and unprofessional he was. When I approached the entrance, the bouncer wouldn't let me in alone. I asked him why I couldn't enter by myself, but he didn't bother to provide any reason or explanation. It left me feeling completely puzzled and frustrated. As a first-time visitor, this encounter with the bouncer set a terrible tone for my experience at Manahatta. The lack of transparency and the unwarranted refusal to let me enter alone was not only unfriendly but also extremely unwelcoming. A bar's first impression is often made at the door, and my encounter with this particular bouncer made me question the professionalism and customer service standards of Manahatta Deansgate. If they want to attract and retain customers, they should ensure that their front-door staff are not only polite but also capable of providing reasonable explanations for their actions. My first visit was extremely disappointing, and I hope they take this feedback seriously to improve their customer experience.

Was looking for a midweek bottomless being off for the week. Many places limit these to late week or weekends. Not here. There were a few other groups in too. There is a decent choice of brunch food options plus the chance to upgrade to main menu for a £5 supplement. On the drinks front its Prosecco, few cocktails, couple of gins and Coors Light. You are allowed to order one drink at a time but the Prosecco doesn’t count which is good. All I can say is we got excellent value for money and very good service, including a relaxed need to return the table. I think the food was decent enough even though we didn’t talk about it at all afterwards! Someone enjoyed it so much they treated themselves to a taxi home!

Quick service (never had an empty glass!), good food and drink choices, duck salad 10/10. Loved the music! Perfect for a group of friends and will definitely return.

Great night on Sat 30th for our girls 30th birthday. This was our first time in Manchester and Mahatta definitely made an impression! The vibe was awesome, drinks, music, staff! We were having the bottomless party brunch, we had our own little private area which was nice as we were still able to hear the music and hear eachother talk. Food in the brunch was good, definitely great value for money and the fact you get grey goose drinks included is just unreal. I’d love to give thanks to our waitress, she was so lovely and helpful. Explained everything on the menu, the bill was paid efficiently with no issues and ensured our drinks kept on flowing! I didn’t catch her name but please know we are grateful for making our visit special especially our girl on her birthday! Booking was under S.phillips (8.15) 30/08/23 Highly recommend. Thank you!

A fantastic time done bottomless brunch for partners birthday. Staff were lovely, always checking we had enough drinks, especially Erin and another man but I can’t remember his name !! :( Food was lovely, was quiet when we went but atmosphere was still great. Would definitely come back and recommend!!

I will never be returning to this venue again. I have never experienced such awful management/customer service skills in my life we felt very picked on by the shift manager Herget and felt very uncomfortable in Manhatta. The way we had been spoken to by shift manager was vile and rude. My partner felt like he was picked on due to his race by Herget. He treated us completely different to the other tables and made us feel very singled out and was very unprofessional when bringing over our drinks he would put it on the end of the table and walk away had no manners toward us whatsoever. Mid way through drinking our wine he came over and put a bill on the table and stood there with a card machine demanding a payment without any explanation so my partner had asked why we need to pay now as we was planning on ordering more drinks and will pay at the end he become very aggressive in his speech saying you will pay this now I don't care your buying other things the bill is to be paid now. Other tables noticed how rude he was to us and even made a comment once he walked away how awful is service was towards us In comparison to their service he had been providing. We had spent a lot of money and come to celebrate my partners birthday and Hergets behavior had ruined the night completely, how we was treated was with pure disgust and disrespect especially from someone so high up in the company id like to think they would have better manners and would know simple customer service which Herget unfortunately does not. i had been put off putting this review up as I have written a formal complaint back in August to the venue and was in contact with a 'manager' who was supposedly going to call me on the 31st July yet no response very unprofessional to make a customer wait especially now were in September. Worst place in Manchester I have ever been to don't recommend unless you want to be treated with disrespect.

Excellent bottomless brunch and extremely good service. The staff went out of their way to make sure we had a really good time. Attentive staff who topped up our prosecco at regular intervals (especially the Australian server - I'm so sorry I did not catch her name). Excellent service and value.

Visited bank holiday Sunday around 6pm. £25 for 1 cocktail & 1 vodka lime and soda! Tables were sticky and covered in crumbs and the toilets were disgusting. There’s much nicer places to go for the price.

Really enjoyed our time here. We had booked the bottomless brunch and I think it’s the best we’ve had! The beef melt was so good and the cocktails and Prosecco were kept flowing by our lovely server (I think her name was Rosie?) she was really friendly and attentive and certainly added to our experience, brilliant customer service! Unfortunately, after looking at the bill, I think we have been slightly over charged. But I will contact the venue about this. Overall a great afternoon!

Came for bottomless brunch after looking at a few places and choose this one. Amazing value for money, drinks are so good and easy to drink. Constantly filled up with Prosecco. Our server Erin was amazing and attentive, an amazing experience for my friends birthday. Can’t wait to come back! Thank you Manahatta!
