Really disappointing, recommended to come here, poor slow service. Told lots of items not available due to delivery on a Tuesday. Pancakes were hard and chewy, had to send back and cancel. Would not recommend.

So nice needed to wait 20 minutes outside but the pancakes where very good and my partner told me that the eggs Benedict's where delicious. Also Eve made sure we got everything we needed and was super friendly.

This is quite a busy breakfast chain and you'll have to wait if you haven't booked. The hash is fried potatoes pieces, not hash browns, so just to be aware. The service we received was sub par, coffees and sides were forgotten, others were served before us. We had to ask several times for our missing order items. The service staff were friendly howver the service was extremely disorganised.Along with this the cutlery was dirty and the salt shaker was blocked. Portion sizes are good however I'd recommend a going to any other breakfast cafe before coming here again.

Eve was amazing with me and my friend, really friendly and kind . He is in a wheelchair and it was very accessible. Food and drinks were great thanks chef zoe!

Was absolutely tremendous from the start to the finish. Service from eve was second to none and she was so attentitive and friendly. And the food cooked by zoe was magnificent. Just an allround quality restraunt. 10/10.

Great place for brunch. The biggest choice of pancakes and eggs benedict. I have had the Bronx Brunch a couple of times which is amazing. My daughters' favourite dish is the Lula Pueblo which looks incredible and they have to order it every time we go. My daughter says it is her favourite dish anywhere.

Excellent quality food and atmosphere

I’ve been in Manchester for three days and had breakfast here each morning. The food is excellent and the staff are great especially India she would be an asset to any business. I couldn’t recommend Moose Coffee enough you book in advance where other businesses have you standing in street only to be told when you get to front of the queue there is a 45 minute wait.

I was surprised to find that the waffles were not fresh and not made in-store. They used ready-made waffles, and the price was outrageous for something not fresh—£12! For what? I felt fooled and disappointed. A full box of the same waffles from Costco costs £11. Unfortunately, I was shocked when I ordered it and I found myself looking like this in the picture. In fact, I felt fooled, especially since the pancakes they made cost £9 and this one was ready for £12??!!

Had the lone star breakfast with a cappuccino was delish and the service was amazing. Definitely be coming again 😊

A Moose breakfast whenever we're in Manchester or Liverpool is, quite simply, a must!!! Great food, great service, good value, fabulous!!

Had a two day visit to our grandson in Manchester and visited both Moose. Great service and food my husband was very pleased with both new additions to the menu 5 star as usual

Nothing special. Heated thin ham odd. Eggs good. Coffee served in what I would describe as a beer mug or stein. Dreadful. Coffee itself fine. They said no one else had ever commented, which I find hard to believe.

wowza what a meal that was so yummy. Not only do I want to eat here every day because there’s so much choice (even for me- a veggie), it’s really yummy and the staff are wonderful, but I also want to work here because, once again, the staff are wonderful. Someone was on their trial shift and Harry (my lovely server) was so kind and helpful. Will be coming again. Oh also best coffee I’ve ever had- the salted caramel mocha ❤️❤️

I expected much more, I left a bit disappointed. It took a bit longer than expected and the food was nothing special. Bacon was dry not very tasty, and very thick (probably the Canadian version is like this?). In any case I would not go back. Service was very good!

Moose coffee is the best place for breakfast anywhere in the UK. Food and staff are always amazing. I would eat there every day of the week but would be 20 stone

Perfect blueberry pancakes!! Love the casual, unpretentious atmosphere of Moose, the food is excellent and the staff are lovely!

The first waitress we had seemed very rude but when there was a change our replacement was much more pleasant, great food.

Probably one of the best breakfast/brunches that we've had! In honour of 4th July they had a 3 x sausage patty on the menu.. It should be made a permanent staple. .. My partner loved it! Booking is advised, we had to sit outside, which was fine to begin, but once the rain came it was cold... Thankfully we'd finished eating so could leave. Every dish coming out looked amazing, I had the eggs, bacon on muffins with potatoe hash... Was superb! Staff are so friendly, definitely a place not to be missed!

Lovely, lovely food and really friendly service. From the young lady that came out and addressed the queue outside (walk-ins) and ushered me in when I advised that I had a reservation. To the staff indoors who were perfectly attentive. The food was really well prepared and presented. I feel that if a larger premises become available they would have absolutely no problem filling it, as the one on York St. is a tad compact. But I love the booths and if there were more of them in a bigger space it would really be special. Even more than it already is.

Definitely need to book as it gets really busy, but once you're in the food and service is brilliant (thanks Harry).

We were a group of 8 people and they treated us wonderfully, our waitress was wonderful and the food was spectacular, we couldn't even finish the pancakes because they were so big, the best I've ever had

Moose coffee always serve stellar breakfasts. Good, efficient service and relatively decent price. A bit small inside but not overly cramped. Only real downside is the inability to book outdoor seating and it being given only to those who queue for it which I'm not fond of queuing for breakfast hence why I book in advance but again do not have the option to do so.

My favourite place to go for brunch or breakfast. The food is legit so good!!

It's very popular at noon on weekends. The food is good, though not surprising. If you're looking for an adequate lunch, you can give it a try. The Dutch pancake is a bit odd, but everything else is good.

We visited on 16th June and was served by Harry. Food was incredible (as always, I've never had a better breakfast anywhere so always make sure to visit when in Manchester), and Harry gave impeccable service. Nothing too much trouble, thanks Harry!

I've been a few times and usually leave disappointed this is due to the potion sizes. Unfortunately I'm unable to have the pancakes which always looks like a good potion size, but I had the gluten free "Mighty Moose" which is anything but. If you move the slice of toast you end up looking at an half empty plate. Don't think I'll be back again.

Food was good. Got loads of vegan options for my partner to choose from as well! I got the moose caboose and the portion was huge! Jess, our waitress was really lovely, and had really good customer service! Great atmosphere, would definitely come here again!

Amazing. Staff great, food excellent. Initial service (taking order) a little slow, but superb staff easily made up for that!

The culinary experience was mediocre in comparison to its competitors and did not live up to its reputation. The French toast I ordered was not exceptional and could be found at a lower price elsewhere. I had to request a clean cup due to the one provided being soiled. Due to the lack of available indoor seating, I was forced to dine outdoors in the frigid weather. While this was my decision, it would have been preferable to have the option to sit inside and avoid the extended wait time of approximately 30 minutes. My partner, who is of Asian descent, and I, who am Caucasian, experienced noticeable and uncomfortable stares from some of the staff members. This behavior appeared to be racially motivated. I found it unusual to be prompted for a gratuity on the card machine, especially during a period of high inflation. A more appropriate approach would be to provide a tip jar or similar option rather than having the cashier engage in direct eye contact that could be interpreted as pressuring for a tip. Despite these shortcomings, the establishment was clean, and the service provided by our waiter was commendable. The quality of the food was marginally above average based on our dining experience. As a former chef, I possess a discerning palate and can recognize quality cuisine. In terms of revisiting the establishment, I might consider it if I were a local resident, allowing for another opportunity to assess its offerings.

Amazing customer service. I had accidentally booked for the other cafe in Manchester as I’m not local. However, the staff were so kind and understanding and were able to accommodate us even during a busy period. The food was absolutely fantastic and the coffees really hit the spot. Such a great team who are very attentive to customer needs. Thank you!

At the first time they gave me a cold milk so I’ve let them give me a hot milk the milk wasn’t as the past put it was good . The pancake was incredible and the staff was good but the mistake anoyed me a little bit the food was incredible at all

We had such a lovely brunch at Moose! We were greeted by Ben who got us settled at our table very quickly! We were looked after by Eva who was very attentive and helpful with the menu. We felt really relaxed and the food was incredible. The Grand Bouche was amazing! We cannot wait to come back and try another item off the menu!

Outstanding service and food - BEST breakfast we have ever had all over the world. Mason our waiter excelled in his customer servicing - very polite, helpful and took his time to answer any questions we asked. Went here for breakfast this morning and it did not disappoint. When we arrived they were queuing around the bloke - thank god we had booked. The staff were very polite and nothing was too much trouble. Although the staff were run off their feet they had time for you. Will be back

Absolutely great experience. We had a booking and were welcomed. Harry proceeded to take our order and drinks arrived quickly. Harry continued to ensure we were comfortable and all refreshments were topped up as we needed. Food was 10/10. There was a que for non bookers but I’d say the food is worth the wait! Great Father’s Day brunch.

Another great visit to our favourite restaurant in the town centre. Always enjoy a Manolito but was a bit disappointed as it wasn’t available (we booked a table for 1:30pm so expect they’d run out of one of the ingredients, experienced this before up at the Piccadilly Moose before). No prob, tried the New Pueblo Luna and wasn’t disappointed, it was cooked to perfection and was delicious. Harry was our host, he was really friendly and knew the menu in side out, genuinely happy to help.

We went for brunch and found many choices, though there were no halal options. We opted for vegetarian and vegan dishes, and everything was delicious. We loved the atmosphere and music.

I was excited because of the positive reviews here. I booked, the staff were nice but in the most nonchalant way. As it's my first time as an American they didn't recommend anything. Ordered the Double Dutch and it was underwhelming. Wish I had made a better choice. I used the one napkin to remove the chocolate from the cappuccino. I left the plate half eaten and they didn't ask if I enjoyed it. I wouldn't recommend this place on York Street.
