Went on Saturday for their bottomless brunch. It was bottomless food and drink with 8 dishes to choose from and a good choice of drinks that suited all. Food was lovely and service was great. Price was very affordable especially for what you get. Would definitely go again!

Popped in for lunch on Saturday and had a great time, I don't know why I haven't been before. I think the location has changed hands a few times and I'd stopped bothering. But lunch and the service was great. I had a delicious cocktail and a salad and it was lovely and very reasonable. Id recommend it and will definitely go back

Service and overall layout was good. The steak me and partner ordered was not so good. Came with bagged lettuce and a kids size sweetcorn

We had the pleasure of dining at Bavette Steak House and we couldn’t fault the service or food, both were excellent! Maria the Manager couldn’t do enough for us, extremely helpful and attentive and compliments to the chef, my sirloin steak was cooked to perfection. We will definitely be returning again soon!

Went there this evening (13/7/24) 9 of us with small children too. What a fantastic place - food was amazing and portion sizes were spot on! Atmosphere meant you could walk about with the younger ones with very friendly and warm staff. Food was prompt and drinks were fantastic! It was a perfect family night at Bavette

A little quite when there Thursday lunchtime, can't understand why as the food was beautifully cooked and Mehmet was very nice, it was our first visit , and left as if we had gained a friend.

Due to my own mistake, had pressed collection instead of delivery. However restaurant owner actually after hearing of my mistake actually delivered it himself. So 10 out of 10 for customer service. Plus a big thankyou.

Absolutley amazing food!! Booked this restaurant for my daughter’s 18th Birthday and they did not disappoint. Maria looked after us and nothing was too much trouble, she went above and beyond! Amazing effort the table was decorated without us knowing and all staff making an effort when bringing out the cake. Thank you 🩷. We will be back. X

Presently eating an amazing surf and turf steak cook to perfection and the starter of garlic bread and meatballs couldn't fault the flavours service is excellent waiter was pleasant and made our party of 12 really welcomed

What an absolute pleasure this place is! We booked in for my friend’s birthday. I mentioned when we booked the table that it was for a birthday and when I came early to drop the cake off, the restaurant manager asked which table we would prefer. When we arrived for the meal, the table had been decorated with balloons and a banner. We were attended to incredibly well and the food was incredible. Furthermore, the price was so reasonable that even with a tip we thought there was a mistake. We will absolutely be coming to Bavette a lot more in the future and we were really impressed by the staff, the food, the atmosphere, going the extra mile for a birthday and the whole experience. Well done guys!

Booked for sunday the 9th june for my sons birthday so thought myself n partner would try it out yesterday .. and i can honestly say it was amazing .. staff very attentive and food was delish looking forward to sunday now .. highly reccomend this place i had chivken n lamb kebab n karl had sirloin steak and we couldent fault both meals at all .. amazing service and food … see you sunday guys 👌👌👌👌

Staff excellent, attentive, efficient, but not over bearing. Place itself is lovely. Food is sublime! Starters excellent, the steaks absolutely unreal. Wine complimented it well. Cocktails strong and tasty! Service charge on bill, waiter asked politely if we'd like to take it off, after that service and exquisite food, we gladly kept it on! Thanks guys! Booked Bavette for my son’s birthday last night, Maria the restaurant manager was amazing!! So attentive from the start, from taking the initial booking, to welcoming us on arrival, down to complimentary banners, balloon on the table and the added firework candle on the cake. The food wow, it was outstanding, massive compliments to the chefs 👌 The service on the night was equally as good, the team were so so friendly and the main guy looking after us was brilliant. I can not thank the team enough for such a lovely evening. We will certainly be back soon. Thank you Maria and all the team. Rachael x

Poor unhelpful service. We decided to place a food order the for 1st time . The food came late . The whole order was someone else's We called to question this and got told its not there fault. Shocking service Shocking attitude towards customers.

Probably the best steak I've ever eaten.

Went here for the first time last night as a late mother's day meal and already planned to go back for my daughter's birthday. Everything about the night was so lovely. The minute we walked in we were greeted by the manager Maria who was super friendly and looked after us all night and made us feel extremely welcome. Food was honestly the best I've had in a long time. Everything was cooked perfectly. Not only was the food delicious the cocktails were to die for, not to mention the sphere icecubes with flowers in. Atmosphere was lovely, felt so relaxed and cannot wait to go back. Thank you for a perfect night. See you again soon xx

Had a lovely anniversary meal tonight, not the first time we have been and definitely won’t be the last! The food is always incredible and the staff are so attentive and friendly especially the manager!! 100% recommend! If you like good food and a friendly atmosphere Bavette is a must!

Some really lovely food and good service. Maria was amazing so helpful from the start of booking to leaving at the end of the night. Another group of men was there at the time and really spoiled it for us to loud and scared the two children. I thought the service charge was crazy , I couldn’t ask the rest of the party to pay so I paid it all an extra £40 I rather tip myself which I still did so I was out of pocket £50. I don’t think I would go back again the service charge really did spoil the celebrations but please don’t let Maria go she makes the place thanks

Very rude manager and steak extremely over cooked when asked for medium rare

My food was okay but absolutely appalling service. My boyfriends steak was overcooked (which the waitress agreed with) and she did ask if he wanted it recooked but we didnt have time. She then brought the bill over and we said we werent happy paying £36 for the steak when he didnt eat it as it wad well done and he asked for it medium rare. The rude woman then said “i asked you twice if you wanted another”. We then asked the manager and he agreed to reduce the price. When the woman came back over she raised her voice at my boyfriend and againsaid we shouldnt be asking for a reduction on the bill as we had money off with a voucher. My boyfriend then said we wouldnt be leaving the service charge because of the way she had spoken to us and she shook her head and said ‘ridiculous’. I have never experienced such rude staff. We will not be returning

This was a great night the place has a great vibe. The staff were very helpful and pleasant.

If you are planning on attending this venue, please think about group size before hand. They will ask you to pre-order your meal, cook before you arrive and re-heat once there. For a steak house, this just doesn’t work. I can only say thank you to the manager, lovely woman, however, majority of the staff don’t look like they want to be there. This is, probably, the first and last review I’ll ever write but it was needed.

I went here last year and it was amazing, faultless. Went again last night, it was dead and after the food came I understand why. The mixed vegetables side that cost an extra 5 pounds was just frozen microwaved packet veg. They were inattentive and we had to get up to get the bill otherwise may have been sat there all night. The steak was okay though slightly undercooked. There was a constant banging coming from above our heads, not sure if neighbours or having work done. When the bill came there was a massive service charge of 10 percent, I'm guessing for tips but it was NOT optional, I like to give my own tip. Won't be going again. Oh the margaritas are okay

Food looks good but our steak was too dry and over cooked. The staff dropped the side dishes on the floor when brining the food without replacing for us.

We were a group of five celebrating a birthday, four of us ordered steak and one of us ordered tapas. Three of us ordered Octupus for starters, we eat Octupus frequently and this was not the best! It was very chewy and under cooked! We ordered two fillet steaks, rump & sirloin, we all asked for it to be cooked medium rare. The rump was ok, the sirloin hadnt been rested and was very bloody, both the fillet steaks were over cooked and ruined, they were both very dry due to being over cooked. I left my fillet steak and my husband only ate a few peices of his steak. We complained to the owner and he offered us 2 free drinks! You could see that both steaks were over cooked and ruined. When we asked for the bill the two fillet steaks were still on even though they had been ruined by over cooking them, they refused to take the fillet steaks off our bill, stating they offered us 2 free drinks! We all drank cocktails and vodka, our bill was £380 but they thought charging us for two steaks that were over cooked and ruined was ok! Disgusting! We will not be returning! How can a steakhouse over cook steak! The young waitrose was excellent, pity the owners werent!!

Once again, our experience at Bavette was super! Perfectly cooked and delicious food (& good sized portions too!) Excellent hospitality ALWAYS and this was the day after New Year’s Day too! The restaurant was very busy - so do book in advance to avoid disappointment. There were no delays in being seated or served. Will definitely be going back

Lovely inside, great menu options with good prices. Service was excellent although the salad had far too much dressing, I like to taste my salad.

Visited with friends recently and 3 out of 4 of us had really horrible stomachs.

The steak here really is phenomenal. My daughter had the steak tartare and said it was the best she ever had. It was just a bit too noisy to have a good conversation but only to be expected on a Saturday night x

Now been twice, each time can’t fault the food. The steaks are very good quality and extremely good value compared to others. The beef rib burger was just sooooo tasty 😊

We held my son’s 21st meal there last night, and from start to finish they were excellent. Even before we arrived, the communications with the restaurant was excellent, ensuring we had pre-ordered anything we needed could be catered for. Maria, in particular was superb. Everything went like clockwork, they made such a fuss and then we were able to go downstairs and have a dance. I would highly recommend Bavette for a meal, but also for a special occasion catering for a large amount.

Visiting family up here, and we came here on a recommendation and are glad we did. One burger, mixed grill, and 2 rib eyes later wwe left contented. The steak I had was cooked to perfection with a blue cheese sauce and a mac n cheese side. Everyone else enjoyed their dinner as well so it's safe to say we'd be back again when we return.

Came with 11 family members, had the £15-95 menu, and being honest I was surprised at the size of the portions. The quality was excellent with friendly service. We will be returning

Had a wonderful meal at Bavette this evening. Steak was perfect, lamb skewers were delicious. Went all out on 3 courses and the Brownie was a perfect end. Served by the beautiful Sam, who was an absolute delight!

2 course for £20 was horrible. Don't bother with it the more expensive meal was pretty good tbh not cheap .

Came here for lunch with my partner after seeing a few adverts for the '2 courses for £15.95'. Both had lovely starters and then shared a rump steak and burger which were both exceptional. The peppercorn sauce and matchstick fries were just the best. Very friendly and helpful staff.

We tried this place the other day for lunch after a friend had recently dined here and recommended it. Wow! 10/10 all round, if I could give it more, I would! The staff are so friendly and helpful. & the food was absolutely delicious!!! We opted for the 2 for £15.95 deal. Sometimes when there's a deal, the food is usually of less quality or a cheaper version. Not here. It was absolutely gorgeous, the starters were great, for mains I had the steak which was cooked to perfection. I had 2 sauces, a pepercorn and a blue cheese. Both spot on. My partner had the beef burger which is said was really good (and he is a burger connoisseur!) and my friend had the chicken burger which she also enjoyed thoroughly. We had 2 of the 2 for £14 cocktails each which is also an amazing deal and they are also not of any less quality at all! They are proper cocktails, handmade, not out of a tap/these syrupy ones! Cannot believe the prices on these deals and the quality of what we had. Absolutely will be back! 11/10! Mouths watering writing this... cant wait to be back!

So we had my stepdaughters 21st birthday meal here at Bavette’s. Maria was our host also the manageress and I can’t praise the lady enough she took all our food orders via WhatsApp a week before we was due to go to the venue and Maria also arranged for the balloons and table to be decorated. We arrived at 5pm and the whole thing went effortlessly and without a hitch the food,service, and atmosphere was 2nd to none. The food all came out prompt and correct and was as tasty as the pictures make it look. I’d give this place more stars if I could and will most definitely be returning.

Booked a party of 36 people and could not of been any happier with the food staff and price amazing place nothing was a problem for them.xxx

It was a little bit noisy at first but I think that is because of all the wood and a lack of furnishings to absorb this. It would not put me off coming again though. Staff, food and atmosphere was bang on x

Loved this place, the portions are plentiful and the food is soo tasty. Staff were fast and friendly too.

Visited on Sunday for my daughters birthday and as always superb service and good value. That extra effort put in by the staff makes all the difference to your dining experience, like birthday banners on the table and serving our own birthday cake.

Warning - the manageress has absolutely no manners, our food came out wrong after she took the order, another waiter kindly sorted out the issue. I was going to split the £7.00 service charge, but she just laid into me at the till with no respect and a terrible attitude, we are the customer - do you realise that? Very poor customer service skills, really no idea how to be courteous...

Food was good but not great. Service was good but unfortunately they overcharged us on the bill and added service charge to the bill without mentioning it. I usually tip for good service but hate it when it is just added to the bill without mentioning it.

All mezes and main foods were amazing. Hope to visit again soon. Friendly staff.

I visited this place last year and had a fantastic meal. But unfortunately this time I left disappointed. The decor is still great, but there was a smell of drains. I ordered surf and turf at £30, which was a let down, especially given the price. The "surf’ was two prawns and the steak was tough and fatty. I was expecting much better. At least the service was good and the company meant I still enjoyed the night. I will not be going back through.

We went there today as a family birthday meal. And honestly cannot put into words how amazing the food and service was. The birthday song they done for our nephew was the best and they even put little touches of a balloon and banner on the table. First time we have been and will 100% revisit. Amazing steak.

Such a disappointing evening In front of us were other families waiting for their meal, we waited 1.1/2 hours! They looked miserable Can assure we will never go to this place again, cheap chips steak over priced and poor service. I think the likes of Gordon Ramsey needs to pop in and do his thing

If I go out to a steakhouse for a burger I don't expect a cheese slice when it says cheddar cheese on the menu. Maybe use streaky instead of fatty back bacon too? Overall very disappointed

A nice place for birthday party

We have been to bavette a couple of times. It's now our 'go to' place if we want spectacular food. I'm extremely fussy with where we eat and this place always exceeds my expectations. The staff are so friendly and cannot do enough for you. Maria the manager goes above and beyond every time that we have eaten here. Definitely good value for money.

Expensive for what you get. Food took far too long to come and when it did eventually arrive we had to send back two of the 5 steaks as cooked far too little for what was asked. Being a steak house, the steak has to be right there’s no excuses.

I love a caesar salad but for some unknown reason they drowned it in balsamic vinegar. What a shame.
