What a lovely place, absolutely stunning decor, and food is delicious, first time we've been and already booking again, staff are so lovely and very attentive so thank-you, definitely worth a visit.

Absolutely beautiful food. Highly recommended. Server went above and beyond for us. Wonderfull open kitchen. Presentation and taste were perfect. Very reasonably priced too. Only downside is I wish I would have known about this place sooner!!!!

First time (but definitely not the last!) to this beautiful restaurant. Booked a table for 2 for lunch & drinks on a Sat afternoon. Fantastic atmosphere, really attentive, friendly staff & the service was faultless. Food and cocktails were amazing (cocktail list is fantastic!) served quickly & prices were really reasonable. Loved the decor & dj playing, all in all a fantastic experience & we'll definitely be back again soon.

Had breakfast here on valentines day Was promtly seated and waited on . Ordered the poached and hocked ham which was delicious and cooked perfectly ovrrall a good experience with a relaxed vibe and nice decor . will definately return for something later in evening time .

4 friends had lunch on Thursday and we were well impressed. We lunch out most weeks, and then some, and so have a lot of comparisons. We were blown away by the food and service, by far and away one of the best places we have eaten in for a while. 3 had (not so small) plates and 1 had a burger. All delicious!! Real value for money. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! We will return X

My wife and I had seen the bar on visiting Warrington for a concert a few weeks before so decided to book for a lunch to check it out. We weren't disappointed. Very early lunch so can't comment about atmosphere other than the staff were very welcoming and friendly. Opted for the tapas dishes which were varied, delicious and great value! Met the head chef by chance in the venue and he came across as a chap who clearly wants to make the customer happy with his creations! Pakora was amazing! Lovely friendly people and we will definitely be back. My wife and daughter are already planning a bottomless brunch day! Cheers guys... first class!

I booked a bottomless brunch here for a hen do and Vandal was the perfect venue for it. The restaurant was very accommodating from the start and let me come in a few hours early to decorate. The staff were friendly and the drinks were really good quality with a good variety including the cocktails. The food was really good portions, lovely flavour and quick service. The staff were really friendly and the service was great from the start to finish. I would definitely come back and highly recommend this venue.

We went here for a little leaving get together with close friends and family. We went for the bottomless brunch but ended up staying a lot longer. The food was fantastic! So tasty. We had the food included in the bottomless brunch and then ordered more off the main menu as we were there for tea as well. The cocktails were delicious and the staff made sure our glasses were never empty, even through we did the bottomless brunch. I have been for bottomless brunches before and it's been difficult to get a top up. The staff looked after us so well Thank you so much for a fantastic day and evening. Vandal is most definitely high up on my "what I will miss about Warrington" list.

Bottomless Brunch was amazing. Staff were constantly refilling our glasses and asking for drinks orders- not like other places who try to serve as little as possible. Food was delicious and plentiful. Wonderful atmosphere and very friendly staff. Will definitely be returning.

Great food beautiful building really nice staff

Advice: don't bring kids. The second time we visited Vandal, it was noon the first day of the school term break. Seeing there were kids among us, the waitress gave us two kid's menus, which had a 8.5 pound lunch set, including a main course, a juice, and an ice-cream. Yet, the waitress said the two main courses we chose from the kid's menu were not available that day. We arrived before noon, yet some items had been sold out already? The kitchen did not expect anyone to order anything from the kid's menu, huh? Knowing the kids won't eat other courses in the kid's menu, we told the waitress we'd order something from the 7.5-pound lunch club menu instead for the kids. This lunch set included two dishes, and there were extra charges for side orders. The kids preferred chicken. The only options were chicken nuggets, buffalo chicken wings, and chicken livers. They definitely won't eat the latter two. We asked her whether the chicken nuggets (which is called "KFC" in the menu) were hot and spicy, which the kids could not stand. She said confidently that only the sauce on the side was hot and spicy. So we ordered two for the kids. But it turned out that the chicken nuggets were also hot and spicy. In the middle of the meal, the waitress put a glass of apple juice on our table and left immediately. We have told her before to cancel the orders from the kid's menu, which include a juice and an ice-cream, but obviously, she did not do it. The restaurant charged us 3 pounds for this side order we did not expect but accepted. After we had finished the main course, she came and asked the kids for the flavor of ice-cream they wanted, chocolate or pistachio. They chose chocolate. After a while, she showed up with two cups of vanilla ice-cream, saying that was the only flavor available that day. She should have checked the options available before offering the options. Anyway, we took them. Then she said she'd go fetch us two spoons! How come a waiter would serve dessert without bringing the utensils? Particularly for small kids who don't have the patience to wait?! The ice cream did not taste like vanilla but milk ice-cream. The two cups of ice-cream were worth 3.5 pounds each. Conclusion: Vandal and kids are not compatible.

The decor is very nice, the service is nice and helpful, the food is good, although this is an individual opinion. A nice place to spend a Friday evening.

Lovely setting, friendly atmosphere and staff, and fantastic food - an absolutely fantastic find so close to the station too!

We have visited this restaurant 3 times in the last few weeks and for good reason. Always made to feel welcome and the service is 5 star from start to finish. The choice of dishes on the menu is diverse and fantastic. Food is absolutely amazing. Would highly recommend. We will be back . Thanks to the team for the attention to detail in all aspects of our visits. See you soon.

Went for the bottomless Brunch with a group of friends. Great friendly service, waited on us every 20 minutes or so, always made sure we had drinks, or to ask of we wanted more drinks. Limited food and drinks menu but no problems selecting what to eat for everyone. If I had one criticism, it would be the surprise service charge on top of your bill, that you only get to find out about until they take payment. A 12.5% service charge is added onto your bill without notice. Had a good look at the site, no mention of this and at no time from start to finish was it mentioned. This is an assumptive cost that you should be made aware of upfront.

Honestly this was the BEST bottomless brunch I’ve ever had (and I’ve been to many!) The staff are so welcoming and on board with service you honestly couldn’t fault it!! The food was amazing as well as the drinks and there’s so much variety which isn’t common with bottomless brunches. Definitely getting your moneys worth! Will 100% be returning here!

Visited as a group of four early on a Saturday evening. We chose 8 small plates between us and were well fed with a selection of truly delicious foods. The restaurant was busy, including 3 birthday parties, yet the service was still excellent. Staff very friendly and helpful throughout. This isn't a cheap night out, but if you want something special, you won't go wrong here.

Superb! The staff are really welcoming, friendly and attentive. The food is very good, nowhere else in the area for high quality and interesting food like at Vandal. The less 'adventurous' may find the menu off putting, but I can guarantee there's something for all tastes in the menu. Added bonus, a lot of the menu is 'gluten free' (not coeliac friendly, but fine for intolerances). Drinks were very good, we had 4 cocktails and all were very good and the wine selection was also great. They've done a great job sectioning the venue and the dining area has cosy feel to it. The music may be a bit loud for some, but we had no problems having a normal volume conversation. Highly recommended, keep up the good work guys!

Really average, sadly. The quality of the food just isn’t worth the high price. Really bizarre decor too? It’s a lovely venue — being inside the beautiful Treasury Building — so the decor had real potential, but they’ve completely ruined it by spray painting graffiti all over it? The style they’re going for completely goes against the classy, upmarket aesthetic of the building. I guess the name Vandal is appropriate then as they’ve literally vandalised their own decor?

Food, service & tunes all 10/10. Unreal place right on the doorstep, will definitely be retuning! 👏🏻

We ate here early before going to a show at Parr Hall which is literally next door so very convenient. Service was attentive & helpful, there are plenty of staff. We enjoyed the food - the “small plates” are not that small, I found two was enough for me. The chocolate brownie was lovely & a generous size The only thing I would change was the loud music, but it was a Saturday night, and I am quite old

Way too expensive for the quality of the food. The word average doesn’t accurately describe how average this place is. Edit: Originally put 3 stars but have lowered my review to 2 after receiving a ranting reply from the owner. I’m entitled to an opinion and in my opinion this place is overpriced. Don’t need the owner telling me I’m wrong and that I should have done something different on the night I was there. If I think the food is average, I’m not going to complain am I. I just won’t come back and the owners reply has confirmed that for me. It’s really out of order that they’re replying with essays to negative reviews. If you really wanted to make a good impression you could have invited me back in an attempt to make it up, not have a go at me.

Best food in Central Warrington I've had. The small plates were 5 star, absolutely delicious and we also had a burger which was equally as good. Bottomless Friday was a great deal, cocktails were great, service very friendly and efficient. The art work is amazing, really adds to the atmosphere.

Our Son & daughter in law had their wedding here recently and it was absolutely fabulous. The service, food, drinks all superb. One of the best Weddings ever. They looked after us so well . Having traveled on cruises top hotels etc Vandal is at the top of the list for all of the above. Everyone should try it. Can’t stop talking about Wonderful Vandal and their incredible service. I have eaten here many times and it never fails to impress. The service is always great; friendly but attentive and the food is excellent. I always try and order something a bit different the vandal prawn toast is amazing as is the broccoli small plate! Steaks are hard to beat and my kids love the burgers! The terrace is just lovely and not pompous like other places can be. Bottomless is great value - I have nothing bad to say about Vandal - keep going guys!

Found vandal after a little search online for somewhere to eat on the quick. I was not disappointed with my choice. Great service and food on offer and will definitely be going back. The Sunday roast was presented differently from the norm but absolutely fantastic and the ingredients were full of flavour if you’re in the area give them a try and support someone local providing a nice environment to enjoy

The food, service and atmosphere were excellent

The small plates of food were absolutely amazing, staff really friendly and the rooftop was lovely to sit out in the sunshine 🌞. You can order food and drink to enjoy on the rooftop but bottomless brunch has to be had in the restaurant (which is understandable with the steps up!). Can't wait for the next visit 😊

Absolutely brilliant, we went on the 16th May,Rhodd Gilbert was on next door at Parr Hall. The immediate reception was very welcoming, the whole experience in Vandal was excellent, food was brilliant and quickly served. I had chicken burger the missus had the small plates..Absolutely gorgeous food we will be back.. we want to have a go at the cocktails.

We went for a works night out, they managed. 10 people just turning and they still managed a personal service. Amazing at service from Tom giving personal cocktails and the food was brillant. 100% recommend for a staff night out for flexibility and convenience.

Favourite spot in Warrington by far. Bloody lovely food, great staff who are super attentive even on a busy bottomless brunch service - Michael is a superstar great at solving any slight issues on the spot and making sure service is run brilliantly.

Fantastic food and service, restaurant theme is good, toilet is surprisingly smells good and clean with good decoration, it’s a big plus.

Absolutely love this restaurant!! They have delicious food and creative drinks that hit the spot every time. Some of the best gluten free food I’ve ever had and you can tell the staff is happy to be there. A very welcome feeling with lovely atmosphere.

First time at Vandal, normally stick to Picolinos but honestly will now be back in a heart beat. Attentive service, amazing food (not small portions), no snobbery and just very wholesome atmosphere.

We popped in for lunch to celebrate moving into a new office and were very impressed overall. The food was absolutely delicious, the service was fabulous and the staff were very friendly. We had the lunchtime special menu and loved it. Thank you to the team. We came out for a treat and we’re definitely given a fabulous afternoon.

Have been several times with my wife and have always enjoyed ourselves. Food is delicious and some of the best that Warrington has to offer. There’s something for everyone - but if you like your steaks, you’re in for a real treat! Good selection of drinks - including some expertly made cocktails. And of course, last but no means least, the staff were brilliantly attentive and warm, from bar staff through to servers. The owners have created a fantastic venue to dine and drink at, and one that is high on our list to go back to with friends and family!

This is not just some of the best food in Warrington, but it is some of the best food in the North West of England. Coupled with genuine hospitality, you're in for a treat. I've been lucky enough to eat here twice a week on average for the last 6 months.

Nice selection of small plates at a reasonable price, service was a little slow but the food was fresh and well prepared.

The owners and all the staff are clearly very passionate about the business and delivering on amazing food with attentive service. We don't live close by but would come out of our way to come again. We had 6 of the small plates between 2 and are very full! All delicious! Decor and ambience first rate. Loved it.

Absolutely cannot recommend Vandal enough. This weekend was my their visit since moving to Cheshire from London. I’ve been fortunate enough to dine at restaurants all over the world (inc London, Paris, New York, Abu Dhabi, LA, and more), and I genuinely believe you will be hard pressed to find many a restaurant as consistent for top quality food, drinks, service, ambience and enjoyment. All of the dishes here are created with Will attention to detail. It’s startlingly obvious just how good the ingredients are in all the dishes, and this also transfers over to the cocktail menu, where again, the best liquors are used, and special ingredients really help Vandal stand out. You’re spoilt for choice in terms of where to dine; you can eat out front, on a beautiful square, you can eat in the restaurant, you can eat at a kitchen table (and watch the friendly chefs cook your dinner in front of you), or you can eat on the brand new roof terrace. All of the staff are absolutely wonderful, the owners make it their mission to make everyone feel welcome and valued. Advice; try the black bomber croquettes, the broccoli (seriously!), and the belly pork. The steaks are all incredible, and the new addition of lobster tail will blow you away. Cooking up your own s’mores is also a delight. Cocktails, again, you can’t go wrong, but try the Bloody Mary, the honey margarita, or their exceptional espresso martini (though, all of the cocktails are top level) This weekend was my third visit to Vandal, I genuinely can’t find anywhere else close!

This was our first visit. We went just for a quick bottle of wine but we decided to try some food from small plate selection and we are not dissapointed! The beetroot and lamb was mouthwatering! For sure we will be a regular from now on. The food and service was amazing but I have to say Mia and Michael was above and beyond and made our experience perfect, very proffesional and friendly! It was quiet for a Friday, which suited us, but probably not them. The "small dishes" were amazing, looked good and really tasty. Service was great too. However 4 dishes, a few cocktails and a couple of beers, and 100 quid was easily spent.

Great food, we had the tapas which was well presented and delicious, 5 star service Anetta was amazing, will definitely be returning.

Fantastic meal, fantastic drinks and fantastic night. I would highly recommend this place as the overall ‘service’ was second to none. Previously visited for breakfast which was fantastic and resulted in me attending of an evening. Believe me, I was not disappointed!

Definitely eat here!! Lovely quiet surroundings, great service, food and drinks. I had the Cinnamon french toast, the best I've had. Good size portion as well. My husband had a loaded tiger meal and he also enjoyed it as much as me.

Guys - in a world where people have choice and they are picking where they want to spend it Vandal is not that place. There is no atmosphere, the decor does not match the name, in the kitchen area you can see the graffiti which is cool but the dinning area is bland the graffiti theme should be throughout Offered water which is room temperature not good, put ice in it and lemon Server not able to take drink order right Starter was barely warm Main was hot and tasted nice but seasoned with too much salt No condiments on the table As I said with having a lot of choice you would not go back to Vandal as it’s not memorable

Superb food and superb service. Lovely setting for a Saturday evening meal with my parents. I had the double cheeseburger with beef short rib appetiter. The short rib was delicious. Just a bit spare for the price though. A simple burger but fantastic flavour in the patties and I loved every bite! Chips were great too but the coleslaw was disappointing. It was just dry shredded salad with no mayo at all. It was the least important part of the meal though to be fair. My Dad thoroughly enjoyed his pork tomahawk steak. The staff were all a pleasure. Smiley and chatty.

Second time visiting Vandal and both tome very welcoming by the great group of staff. We ordered the tomahawk steak and was advised that it takes a little longer as it’s 1kg of meat and was given a free starter as a light bite. The food is amazing and in my opinion caters for all budgets from small budgets up to a sharing platter. Me and my family will definitely be returning. The cocktails are well worth the money and very tasty. Amazing food all round excellent service 👌🏽👌🏽👌🏽

We dined @ Vandal on thursday 16th Feb as a group of 11. A truly fantastic experience had by all and the food was amazing. would highly recommend and we will be returning very soon. thankyou again Vandal we loved it :-)

Had a fantastic time at Vandal, the staff were friendly, professional and happy to assist in any way possible. The food selection was brilliant, well presented and tasted fantastic. Loved the artworks on the wall Would recommend to anyone looking for brunch, lunch or just a drink with friends.

Had to pop into this vibrant new bar & kitchen to have a bite to eat…. I was not disappointed, I eat out at every restaurant in the area and the quality of the food was the best I’ve had in a long time. I enjoyed every mouthful. I ordered the beef brisket and the shoulder lamb, they were both delicious and the sticky toffee pudding to finish was out of this world. Thank you for a amazing end to my Sunday.

Wow. The food here is exceptional. I went with my family today 15/01/23 for our dinner. We all treated ourselves to steak, 3 having fillet and i had the sirloin steak. All the steaks were cooked to perfection and were of very high quality. The service was great and made sure the table was clear of plates when finished with. Very impressed with Vandals and will be visiting again very soon. Give it a go you will not be disappointed.

All four of us had separate dishes which were all really delicious! Starters, or the "small plates" were also excellent! Cocktails to finish the night. A great night out.

A friend and I went for lunch this week and we were impressed! The restaurant is very attractive with a nice ambience and friendly, knowledgeable, helpful staff. We had three courses from the lunch menu; each dish was well-presented and tasted absolutely delicious. For the price, it was outstanding. I will be recommending Vandal to everyone I know - it's top notch.

I went the first time last Sat night. Décor nice. Manageress on the ball and a great asset. Food very good. Service very slow as short staffed. I would return.

I had high expectations of this new restaurant in the Treasury building as I knew it was opened by the people who own Bold Street House, but wow it totally exceeded them. The welcome as we went in and were seated in the kitchen area was warm and friendly. The drinks order was taken quickly and then the food!!! We order four small plates to share to start with, Haggis Bon Bons, black bomber croquettes, beef brisket and flat bread with lamb kebab. Each dish was absolutely delicious and beautifully presented. We then ordered the pork belly and kimchi chips, again gorgeous. To finish we shared a sticky toffee pudding that was really well balanced and not too sweet. service was great and we had a chat with the lovely head chef and had a thoroughly great evening and reasonably priced as well. We have booked to bring our staff here for our works Christmas do and cannot wait for them to sample the delicious fare. This is my new favourite place.
