Starters were brilliant nice and fresh Waited a while for them considering the place was empty, but wasn’t an issue as they came out really really fresh However the mains of two steakhouse combos, wow, absolute garbage, clearly heated up leftovers from Saturday, came out with things missing and sent back. Then tasted the food when it come back all clearly reheated meats, asked the girl if it was all from yesterday said she would ask and come back, however just went and stood back behind the bar probably knowing that I was right (not her fault I might add, chefs clearly a chancer) Would avoid it as much as possible absolute sh**e rather go anywhere else than ever go back here !! Avoid waste of money

Food was.......well amazing for a 1st time visit with the family we will be coming back,our server kelsie was very helpful in talking us through the menu choices ,wonderful and pleasant young lady ,so all In all a very positive and very good experience together with a lovely meal

Had lunch there with my sister, Jenay I think that was her name was the most delightful young waitress, so friendly, totally looked after two pensioners. Food very tasty and not as expensive as other places we’ve visited. Well done Dan the chef for such tender chicken.

We were served throughout our visit by Ole, Kelsie and Ellie. They were very helpful and gave us a friendly welcome to the Station House. They made our dining experience here the best it can be!

Awful experience from start to finish. This was once our local but the last three times we have been they’ve either got the food wrong or it’s been cold. On a Tuesday night with around 4 tables in I asked where our food was after 35 mins and was told they’d check. They came back and said 10 mins later they were plating up. Longest plating up as nearly an 45 later the food came and my daughter’s mac and cheese and fries were freezing, my burger completely freezing and hard. My father in laws meal also cold. Was advised would be replaced with no time frame. I then asked how long it would be and said we had been waiting an hour to which seemed a surprise despite two other tables also complaining. Cold food, no thanks or drinks offered or sorry. Staff stood around talking not updating people. The table next to us also waiting over 40 mins for two meals when nobody else is eating. I asked to speak to the manager and just got “that’s me, i’ll replace the meals”

Lovely function room and friendly staff, we ran out of paper plates and within 2 minutes the staff found me some, which they didnt need to do. Thank you!

The food was very dry and took around 45 minutes for just the starters to come out and then a further 30 for the mains to arrive when there was only about 4 tables int he whole place. The food was extremely dry as though it was cooked earlier in the day and either kept “warm” or microwaved. The ribs and brisket were near impossible to chew, the chips were over cooked and the chicken was so dry it felt like eating sawdust. The giant mozzarella stick wasn’t even melted in the middle, it was like eating a huge cheese string covered in oil and breadcrumbs. Everyone in my party ended up with a very upset stomach after attending. Not worth the money or the stomach issues

Nice pub food and reasonably priced. Service was lovely both at the bar and by Mis at our table. Dog friendly too which means we’ll be back! Steak pie was lovely.

The service and atmosphere were great. A happy family orientated pub. Unfortunately the food was not up to the standard expected. Ribs were dry and the brisket was stringy and hard to chew. For half the price I would have been ok with it. But they charge top dollar for low quality. Sorry.

I don’t usually write bad reviews, but I had to this time. We went to this place after seeing a video on their social media—the food looked great in the video, but it was nothing like that in real life. It took 30 minutes for our starters to arrive. We ordered nachos, halloumi fries, and chicken tacos. Despite what they say on social media about everything being made fresh, it was obvious that wasn’t true. The cheese, sour cream, and guacamole were all pre-packaged and processed, and even the jalapeños were from a jar. Everything was bland. The chicken tacos were a big letdown. They were tiny, the chicken was overcooked, and the sauce tasted like it was straight out of a bottle, not freshly made. We also got a salt and pepper chicken burger to share. It was missing half the ingredients listed on the menu, like peppers and chilies, and the chicken was burnt. The chips were cold and tasted reheated. We were supposed to get a katsu dipping sauce, but it never came. We asked two younger staff members (there seems to be a lot of them), and after 15 minutes, we gave up after they told us it was getting reheated. I went to the bar to speak to a manager, but they said no manager was working that day. How can you not have a manager on shift at a bar/restaurant? I do want to praise the slightly older guy in the team who was the only staff member who made sure to rectify my concerns and take my feedback on board whilst working the bar and floor. Overall, a really disappointing experience. Save yourself the hassle and skip this place.

I ordered the brisket. Just a pile of thinly sliced cold peices of chewy meat. How can it be so cold and also cooked to be nearly impossible to chew. Aside from that nice place.

Kelpie, liv and chef Dan were amazing, friendly atmosphere, customer service focused, even when it's busy. The food is always great. Kids meal £6.50, for main 2 sides and a desert. The hot dogs are great for adults

Visited today after driving past on numerous occasions and never having visited before. We were tempted to give this a go after viewing the menu online and by some of the things we have heard on social media. We ordered a late and a Coca Cola, however the latte arrived cold, so was returned and replaced with another, which was also cold. The member of staff there was excellent, and took this off our bill. In terms of food, the USA burger was delicious and personally cannot recommend this enough, however the chicken ordered was overcooked and difficult to eat. Would recommend to others if looking for somewhere different to eat as the menu range is fantastic and there is something for everyone.

5 of us went yesterday 24/4/2024 dinner time the food was appalling burnt black bacon dry chips slice of toast no butter eggs tiny and greasy sausages ok all 5 meals terrible will not be going again

Me and my Husband came in Yesterday and the Food was Amazing the garlic bread and the hallioum fries really hit the spot I think next time we're going to try a full meal

Lovely welcome at this pub… there was a new menu in place so we tried some chicken wraps and bites…all very tasty ..staff are lovely, it wasn’t particularly busy when we went so it’s hard to measure the atmosphere… it was a lovely visit though and we will return…I have it on good authority that it serves a good pint of Guinness!

Best chicken wings, fall off the bone and the salt and pepper bucket is amazing too !

Was met by a lovely young girl serving behind the bar, who unknowingly let us order something which wasn't available upon asking the senior manager behind the bar, not sure on name but much older than her, and pretty sure he had a foreign accent. He was incredibly degrading and nasty to her, speaking to her like she was stupid, he seemed the kind to take pleasure from bullying young girls. We didn't hang around for food due to his behaviour, if you're front of house in any establishment, it should be priority to treat staff and customers equally and not clearly make staff feel uncomfortable infront of customers, which was clearly shown on the young girls face, I hope she has the courage to quit and work where she will be treated how she deserves. Thanks

Been before few times food is decent however the service is terrible had a hour 45 wait for meal and half our family was served and finished and plates taken before the rest was brought out. We had asked were our food was and was met with attitude by the staff and after speaking to the owner about the rudeness from his staff he politely told us to go and eat somewhere else hahaha, unfortunately the food isn’t nice enough to want to come back after the service we received.

Service from Ole was fantastic, very welcoming from all the staff. Great to see the Chef Mark who we know from visiting a sister pub of the station house. Also a thankyou to Dan. We will be back again soon.

Nachos were incredible, Mario is a great salesman we didn't even want a starter until he mentioned how good the nachos were. Staff are attentive and food was great, I'll definitely be back for those nachos.

6 out of 5 on everything frankly this place is fantastic. The atmosphere is perfect, the staff are super helpful and attentive. The food is absolutely amazing. I can't stop going back. Extra thanks to chef Dan who prepared out excellent food and Mario who provided exemplary service this evening.
