Eden Restaurant Waterloo in Sefton

I paid a visit to this lovely little place a couple of weeks ago with my wife. The cocktails were lovely, we had the 2for10 deal and I can’t complain. However, what ruined our experience was the ‘manager’ offering my wife drugs in the bathroom! We were both appalled. I’m sure that this isn’t the first time she has done this too, but I hope not. Although I had noticed that she out of all the staff (the rest were lovely) was acting a bit strange. For me this raises concern for the young girls working there in this environment. Won’t be coming back while this woman is still in position.

ran out of lots of things , jacket pots , lemonade , hot chocolate don’t go salads no more but still on menu ! very disappointing

Having gone with my husband last Sunday and really enjoyed it, this morning was a different story.... we ordered 2 lots if granary bloomer toast with preserves and 2 full breakfasts. We were brought 2 lots of thin white bread toasted on one side and the choice of either strawberry or raspberry jam. The two breakfasts were freezing cold (again with aneamic toast (one sided) and black pudding like a rock hard doorstop. My sister asked if they had marmalade and was told no! Jam or butter... We advised the waitress that we had ordered granary toast and she snatched them away. She returned about 30 mins later with two plates of thin brown bread and asked "are they toasted enough for you?" And stomped off after slamming a chair down in frustration. When we finished she asked was everything okay and we said , we'll no, the food was cold and not what we ordered and we had had to wait an exceptionally long time for just toast. She said she would only charge for 1 piece of toast, to which we replied nicely no its okay we will pay. She said she would forgo the price of the toast in order that we retun.... Needless to say the damage had already been done, we won't be returning.

Nice breakfast , amazing staff. Never felt rushed

Delicious Nutella hot chocolate for me & great coffee too for my husband! We also ate here, I had the avocado on sourdough with poached eggs, this was so tasty & a big portion too 👍😁 my husband had the breakfast tacos & he said they were perfect! The service was fantastic 😍. All in all a lovely place to go for a bite to eat & or just a drink 👍 We will definitely be returning 😁

Food was delicious, service from Roxanne was delightful - she’s very sweet - and the vibe is so calm and fits ‘Eden’. The full breakfast was great. Toastie was delicious and the fries were great. Pancakes were a dream. Definitely worth coming back.

Wanted somewhere local for tea after an afternoon in Liverpool so we were walkins. The two young ladies waiting on and serving drinks were very sociable and made us feel very comfortable and welcome. The meal was very good with lots of choice for small plates. Would definitely recommend this restaurant for both food and ambiance. The cocktails were good too and not over priced.

Unplanned visit, but as we walked past we couldn’t resist - looks lovely. And it didn’t disappoint- food was fantastic, service was amazing - so friendly and could t do enough for us. I went with four friends for an early dinner and we had a fabulous meal together. The tapas was fantastic, great choices, great quality, great taste and excellent value. The staff were very helpful and knowledgeable about the dishes we ordered, and nothing was too much trouble. We all sent our compliments to the chef. This was our first visit and we will go again. Definitely recommended, first class!

Excellent food, with good sized portions. Five of us were seated in a nice comfortable booth, we each had three dishes, and we all thought the food was great. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

Outstanding customer service, great food and atmosphere. We was served by a new girl and I didn't catch her name but the service provided was above and beyond. The young lady made us feel welcome and made for delightful dining experience. Went as a walk in and were seated quickly. Told 2 of the food items were not available which is fair enough so ordered others. After a long wait we were told that one of the items we ordered was off so picked something else. Then told another one was off after another wait so had to change that too. Food was alright when it did eventually arrive, nothing special, although in a weird order (olives were one of the last things to arrive). The restaurant was only half full too so don't understand the wait. Also the music kept stuttering as if the phone was going out of range which was really annoying. The katsu curry was under the middle-eastern section of the menu and not the Asian part which is a bit concerning..

I was disappointed, the dishes were overly expensive in my opinion (£8 each or 3 for £20), they were very well presented but of the dishes we had I was only impressed with one. We ordered: fried rice, katsu curry, tempura prawns, chili fries and fish and chips. The prawns were beautiful but everything else was fairly tasteless. The staff were very friendly but not very attentive. We didn't enjoy our meal here and won't return.
