Rancho Steakhouse in Sefton

Ranchos is a restaurant specialising in steak, Mexican and sushi. My fillet steak was to die for, so tasty and tender I enjoyed every mouthful. My friends steaks and Chimichanga were superb too. The staff were lovely and welcoming and the whole evening was top quality. I'd recommend 'steaking out' the place for yourself without hesitation.

Me and my partner visit Rancho very regularly as it’s our all time favourite restaurant for steak. We have had steak in numerous restaurants and rancho is the one we come back to everytime as the quality & service is consistently top notch. Rancho is very underrated as when we are in there it is always quiet. Our steaks are cooked to absolute perfection Every. Single. Time. The grilled prawns are unreal paired with the fillet steak 😍 Staff are always so friendly and happy to help. The Food, decor & music are just brilliant. To spend between £30-£40 per person when all 4 of you get a filet steak, add on a side of prawns for 1, a bottle of wine, 3 cocktails & 1 beer is more than reasonable when most other restaurants are £30 alone for a filler steak. Stuff overpaying in the big chain restaurants for half the quality. Support your local❤️

Food was cold, soggy chips, rubbery garlic bread. nachos cold, chewy and cheese had gone hard, no moisture from chilli beef. horrendous. burrito was the only thing a tiny bit warm. second time delivery has been bad but food inedible this time

Absolutely fantastic experience at Rancho! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with a warm, friendly atmosphere. The steaks were cooked to perfection—juicy, tender, and bursting with flavor. The sushi was fresh and delicious, and the variety of dishes on the menu means there’s something for everyone. The staff were attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. Perfect spot for a celebration or just a great meal out. Highly recommend! We’ll definitely be back!

It was much better than I expected! The interior was unique and incredible, creating a great atmosphere. The food was cooked to perfection, especially the steak—it was absolutely delicious! The attention to detail and the quality of the ingredients really stood out. I would eat here every day if I could afford it. This place is nearby Crosby beach and the best place to hang out, food here is palatable, staff are polite and welcoming. We enjoyed our time with music and food

Not worth the money. I thought the burgers would be restaurant quality however they were nothing short of a warmed up frozen cheap meat burger.

What a find! I brought my family here for the first time and we will dwfinitely be comng back. I had the Lomo De Lomitto steak, new on me but i was drawn to the description of it being a tender cut and that it would be new for me. The chef marinades the steak in olive oil, garlic and parsley, and you can really tell. Im lucky enough to travel for work and i have eaten steaks in at least 18 different countries, and i would genuinely rate this one in my tip 5. Great work Ranchos!!

I can’t praise this place enough! It was my first time eating here today and I will continue to come back! I’m going to be bold in saying it’s the best burger I’ve ever eaten. The service was incredible and the atmosphere was very homely, and the music was basically the greatest hits of the 80s which is always a winner!

Went with the family last night for dinner, the first time we have been there. The steak was excellent and we will certainly will be returning. The homemade nachos were the best I have ever tasted and the topping was equally as good.

A larger group visited for my son's 18th birthday at the venue. The staff provided exceptional service, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The food was served promptly and was delicious. The drinks were reasonably priced. We thoroughly enjoyed our time there, feeling relaxed and at home, and will certainly return in the future.

I hate leaving bad reviews but you need my feedback....steak was chewy tough and inedible...the ribs were shockingly bad!! No meat on them, very dry and Tiny little pot of bbq sauce from a supermarket? I have the same sauce in my fridge! You need to up your game. The reason I gave you 2 stars is that the chicken , chips and onion rings were nice. You are a steakhouse and I paid £25 for my meal for a bad steak and ribs?

Went for the chefs recommendation and got the 450g fillets that were slow cooked have to add it was the most tender meet I have ever had perfectly cooked to my liking and the customer service was great aswell talkative friendly banter will 100% be coming back 🔥🔥💯

Been for first time and in my opinion it was "OK", I wasn't blown away but it was alright. One of the people I was with had ribeye steak and they were happy with it. Regrettably I'm a bit cynical with restaurants and felt a bit Let down with sides and accompaniments (fries, rice etc) - they felt "bought in" and when paying £30 per head I definitely want things to feel a bit more "home made". I would possibly go back and try again with something else.

Me and my family( 10 of us) dined here yesterday, the service from the moment we entered was so good, the staff were very attentive. The occasion was my nephews 13th birthday, he opted for a t-bone steak and ate the lot. We had the sushi in a boat, burgers, mixed grill, and fillet steaks. The food was amazing, my dad is really fussy and he loved his burger and the ribs for starters (best ribs he has ever had). I had the fillet steak medium, beautiful. We will definitely be returning soon.

Nice but missing item which was annoying

Loved it, just took my 5 year old neice here to spend quality time together and we both picked here, it looks gorgeous from the outside, inside just as nice too, I had burger and chips, the burger was absolutley gorgeous, really went down well, and the babs had a kids chicken nuggets meal, scoffed the lot nearly. Then a kids ice cream and a banana split for me again, really nice. The staff were lovley and great with me little neice, really attentive amd kind. Will definitely be back again. Thanks guys

Food is good but delivery very late and not for the first time. No apology when I rang to see where it was and when mentioned to the delivery driver he just walked away. Need to improve customer service

Had the most fantastic stake. Cooked exactly as I asked. (The beer was pretty good as well). Definitely be going back and trying a different dish.

Food was terrible £20 for a small piece of over cooked chicken and a couple of cold ribs no salad no veg and frozen chips
