Brew Coffee and Kitchen in Sefton

Have visited Anji's a few times now. Breakfast is good, with a varied menu, salt and pepper toasty, English breakfast and pistachio toast are all decent. On the last few occasions I've visited the service has been poor. Came today, and waited almost 20 minutes before our drinks order was taken, and also waited almost an hour for the food to arrive after finally ordering. The service staff are very polite, but the service is haphazard as the table across from us was served before us, even though we were seated 10 minutes before they even entered the place. I also asked for water for the table and it never came so had to ask again. I know it was busy but the staff can do better than this. I very rarely don't tip, but felt the service has been so poor on this occasion that I didn't bother. I also think overall the prices are on the high side (£6 for a milkshake is quite extortionate). Due to the aforementioned service and because it's been more than once, I probably won't return here. Just to add, it's extremely unprofessional and spur grapes of the owner to single out my review on social media, thanking other patrons for their 'support over a busy bank holiday weekend, apart from this reviewer'. This was an honest account of the overall experience, and the service on more than one occasion now has been poor. If you are busy you should employ enough staff to cope with the demand. A 20 minute wait to order drinks is unacceptable as is serving other dinners first who were seated later.

Lovely place for a breakfast, was going to Azul Monkey when I wanted a brekky but glad I tried this place. Now my new regular. Boss service and boss people! Coffee is immense as well.

Came today with my family and the food and service were excellent. Despite the place being busy (which is always a good sign!) the staff were so friendly and we had no issues with the time our food took as it was prompt. The staff went above and beyond for us and were very attentive and the food itself was delicious! Can’t wait to come back to this amazing place!

A visit to Anji’s means that you are guaranteed amazing food in a lovely setting with great staff. Service is always with a smile and the menu has something for everyone. Would highly recommend!

A great place for food or even just a coffee! The service is spot on, even when the place is busy, which it often is with it being so great! Everything is cooked to order and is really tasty and worth every penny! The biscoff late is to die for! And don't get me started on Hole in the Wall on Friday-Sundays! Highly recommend!

Visited anjis many times with friends, alone, with my children and just me and my partner. Always had a lovely, enjoyable time. The food and coffees are delicious. The staff are so friendly and polite. Yes it can get busy and wait times are sometimes longer than expected, but that doesn’t mean it’s a negative, it’s because it so well liked and popular making it busy! I’ll always return to anjis ❤️

I just love this place. I’ve been many times over the past year and it has always been spot on. Stornoway black pudding is served here and is a particular favourite of mine. I usually get a cooked breakfast which is delicious but today I opted for the American pancakes and I now have a new favourite. Staff are really friendly and even when it’s busy they’re always really nice and go out of their way to find you a table and keep you updated on timings etc. Family friendly too.

Driver got lost had to go and meet him but it was worth it as food was delicious 👍

Friendly staff and overall lovely experience

Left an amazing review on Sunday for the same order it was beautiful so I ordered again. But today the egg yolks were hard she the bacon was overcooked. We all love crispy bacon but this was almost black and could of broke a tooth on it... Disspointed but hey I suppose everyone has an off day. Better luck next time 🙏

Absolutely gorgeous, usually end up with soggy hash browns and fully cooked egg yolk when it's a delivery but this breakfast... Everything cooked perfectly and not dripping in grease. The sausages and black pudding were particularly tasty. Really enjoyed it ❤️

I've been here a few times now with my mate and every time it's good. The food is good, the vibe is good, the drinks are good and the staff are always lovely. It is reasonably priced but not 'cheap' which is to be expected since you are receiving great service and good quality.

1st time visiting here today and it certainly won't be the last, amazing choice of food and some very different choices to the norm which is great, I will look forward to trying different items, staff and service were brilliant! Look forward to visiting again 👍👌

One toast wit a full English not gud

I’ve eaten in Anjis before so I was hoping the take away option would be just as nice as eating inside….it did not disappoint! The food arrived on time and was hot. The poached eggs were runny and the food I had ordered was delicious and full of flavour.

Absolutely bouncing and lucky to grab a table. Lovely waitress and very attentive. Made good use of the special offer of 2 egg benedicts and 2 coffees/teas for £20. I chose the smoked salmon and avocado and friend had ham. Both fabulous and eggs cooked to perfection. Brilliant lunch date and perfect for our catch-up x

We often order breakfast on a Sunday from this place and the food is always excellent. We have the vegan breakfast and order a couple of sausages on the side for our dogs. Special shout-out must go to Hannah, who after seeing our order earlier today, phoned us to check that we had ordered the right type of sausages (meat), after we ordered our vegan breakfasts (we are fine with our dogs eating meat). We went out for lunch with our daughter and granddaughter today. She lives in Waterloo and recommended this restaurant to her mother and me. The service and quality of the dishes were quite superb. My wife had a cheese and ham toastie while our daughter and I partook of the meaty hash, which combined chorizo, onion, red and green peppers, two poached eggs, and Stornoway Black Pudding. Our young granddaughter had the child's meal which also included a drink. The servings were plentiful and the food tasted delicious. The next time we visit our daughter we will definitely be lunching here. Thank you to the Brew Coffee & Kitchen for a delightful experience!

I don't normally write reviews but this restaurant is worthy of one. There is such a choice of meals on offer and a large selection of drinks that I'm sure you will find your favourite. Food is always hot and tasty and delivery is quick. Definitely gets my recommendation

firstly the salt and pepper hashies are beautiful 😍 French toast with berries is always amazing, proper thick but not dry at all loads of maple syrup (that comes in a pot) honestly i could go on for days! I ordered a toffee latte and they even sent the popcorn you get if you order it in the cafe 🥹 honestly this place has changed the name and upped their game!! highly underrated compared to another local I won't name and have been disappointed by many a time, get ordering from Anjis!!

First time having Bruch in Brew earlier today - and it certainly won't be our last! Beautiful food and a lovely atmosphere. Full English was great quality, as was the Eggs Benedict. Tea and Coffee were of equally great quality and I would highly recommend Brew.

No food has been received, but it says it was delivered. Want a full refund please. Awful service.

Been here a few times for breakfast with my partner and it's always been amazing. Excellent service by the staff, very reasonably priced. Food is incredible, good choice to pick from without the overwhelming menu, different specials on each time we have visited and they've always been delicious. I had the Christmas special Pigs in Blankets eggs Benedict with a side of chorizo and halloumi, and it was one of the best Benedicts I've had 👌 highly recommended

Been meaning to try here for ages and was so glad we went. Had the regular breakfast. Every part of the meal was perfect. The black pudding was one of the nicest I've ever eaten,sausages really tasty too. A little moan about dogs,I know mine is a very unpopular view but I dislike seeing them in food places. Couldn't believe the woman on the next table let the dog get up and lick her plate! Another dog was barking very loudly so certainly not a place I could take my son to as he is learning disabled and fears dogs. If you are a dog lover and looking for an excellent breakfast this is the place!

The vegan tofu wraps are amazing! Would absolutely recommend them! Polite staff & wonderful atmosphere Edit: unfortunately they don't serve the Tofu Wraps anymore :( their vegan options are still good, but I can't say I don't miss their star of the show! Had to drop from a 5 star to a 4 just because of the reduction in vegan options...

First time ordering on just eat and also from Brew Coffee. Food was really nice, not piping hot but I did notice the drivers bag was already open when he arrived so that may have been why? But was very impressed, food was lovely and delivery service conveniant :-) I had the Vegan stack and ordered couple of sides as wasn't sure how big serving would be, but it was enough so side's weren't really needed. Will defo order again or even visit.

Had an amazing breakfast here! The coffee they serve is Crosby coffee and is delicious. The food was fresh, tasty and a decent portion. Service was welcoming and friendly. Something on the menu for everyone. Would 100% recommend Brew Coffee and Kitchen. We'll be back!

The gluten free menu being as big as the regular menu is insane. Not many restaurants do that. And the food is amazing quality, amazing coffee, amazing drinks. Can't recommend enough :)

The scrambled egg and toast were nice. My husband liked the breakfast but said the sausages were cheap and awful. The pancakes, however, were disgusting. I used to go here quite a lot and in the actual place but it must have changed because these were inedible. They were hard and had a horrible taste to them. The maple sauce was cheap, thin and didn’t taste nice and they didn’t give me the extra portion I paid for (or they put extra in the same pot and the original amount is minuscule).

Just been for a coffee and breakfast with the kids. Babyccinnos expensive at £2 each, waffles were dry, but french toast was nice.

Lovely tomato soup with cheese on toast. Good coffee too. So many options on the menu, we were spoilt for choice!

If I could give 10 starts I would, first time ordering from here. Food delivery early than stated. Food Was pipping hot and totally delicious. Sausages tasted amazing. Will definitely be ordering from here again.

Brew is a truly fantastic Cafe right on the main road running through Crosby. It is home of some of the best food AND coffee in the area! The decor is Brew is lovely, and produces a chilled out atmosphere whilst also allowing lots of space for tables. On busier days there may be a wait, but generally speaking you'll be seated straight away. The food is amazing! It's prepared perfectly, there's a good variety, and everything is reasonably priced. There's also a great kids menu (and great deal associated with it) and lots of sweet indulgences for dessert. The coffee here is spectacular. It has a great flavour and it's one of the few places around that really pay attention to their latte art which I really appreciate. The staff are super friendly and are always smiling. There's one dark haired girl in particular who always welcomes us with a smile and it repeatedly sets things off right. Service is always great throughout. Highchairs (and even a little kids play area!) are available, and there's on street parking right outside, but only if you're lucky!
