The One Lytham in Fylde

Walked past it today and it has had to close written on the door. It just said for unseen circumstances. It is a shame as it was a very nice cafe/restaurant.

Lovely cooked breakfast including bacon, sausage, mushrooms, hash brown, poached egg and black pudding. Fresh coffee and toast. Very good quality of food.

Reasonably priced and tasty drinks. Very welcoming and warm atmosphere in the centre of Lytham. Highly recommend this place.

Great place lovely ambience, had a nice tasty hot latte and the best prawn and Marie Rose sandwich, came with crisps salad and lots of creamy coleslaw, passed the place many times but never been in, my mistake, looked at other plates coming out and I wish I had tried the fries, maybe next time

Just out for the day and looking for a dog friendly restaurant when we came across The One, Lytham. We could sit anywhere even with our dog, which was a wonderful change. The restaurant has been decorated tastefully and is immaculately clean. The staff are very friendly and professional. We originally planned on having a tea, but changed our mind and tried the food. We weren’t disappointed. It was delicious. We will certainly be back.

First time visiting with a voucher from The Mode hotel. Super tasty breakfasts, one veggie & one normal & the best cappuccino I've ever had! The waitresses could not have been more helpful & smiley. We will return.

I often frequent "The One" for a glass of wine and a snack. Today I had a glass of wine and sweet potato chips which could not be faulted. However, I decided to order, in addition, baked vanilla cheese cake with berries as a treat. I could not believe my eyes when it arrived as three miniscule (not even half ice cream scoop portions of supposed cheesecake) with no recogniseable base when what should be expected is a proper slice for what they charge and is daylight robbery so insulting..

Always first class and friendly service. Lovely atmosphere and the food is gorgeous. Dogs are permitted and, they'll even provide some water for thirsty pups. A must visit if you're in the area.

I can’t rate the food as we didn’t eat but it was a very poor service. We ordered two coffees and toast. The coffees came but no toast. We waited about 5 minutes then asked a young girl waitress if she could check on the toast for us. She never came back to inform us. By this time we had drank our coffee and still no toast. We then get the attention of a young male server and ask for a refund for the toast. I explained I had already asked the girl where it was but she never came back to us he said he had no idea why! They do need to be told of these things or they will never be able to put their mistakes right

Fabulous experience!! First time visiting but we often come to Lytham and we will definitely be returning to The One. The waiters couldn’t do enough for us from making particular cocktails to checking back on every course. The sirloin was cooked perfectly and a large portion for your money. Also had a beautiful soup of the day which was very tasty and soulful! Highly recommend and we will be bringing our family and friends in future, just fab and cannot wait to come again

The best restaurant in Lytham St Annes. I visited for the first time and had a great evening. Excellent food, service and ambiance. The fish pie was amazing, and I will go back to try other items on the menu!

Found this great restaurant in Lytham. Truly is The One. We went in with my wife's Hearing Dog (assistance dog). The manager and staff were very accommodating and very helpful. Offering water for Rico. The food was something else. Really enjoyed it. We're from SW London. Will go again if we're up that way. We have family in Fleetwood.

Went in for lunch with my mother in a wheelchair. It was really excellent. Clean, nice drinking glasses, proper serviettes and comfy chairs. Ordered food. It was delicious. Service fantastic. Really enjoyed it. Will definitely be going back. It was excellent. Couldn't fault it.

Nice place in a popular area. Decent food but don't bother with the S&P Fries. Nice, not what we were expecting - just normal fries with some 'red salt' type seasoning thrown on.

Went for breakfast Sunday after being recommended to eat here we enjoyed our breakfast when it finally arrived after being forgotten about and waiting 40minutes. Today we took my parents for lunch but unfortunately we found the whole experience awful. We sat outside as it was fabulous weather we ordered 3 steak ciabattas and 1 chilli chicken wrap some veg and drinks the staff didn’t seem to be very helpful or very friendly our food was freezing cold when it arrived so we told the lady who served us she said she would replace it when we got our fresh food it was not great. A young waitress brought out our food not the older lady who seemed to be the boss who we had told about it being cold the extra chips were cold and not been replaced eventually they replaced them but had just been microwaved. Not one member of staff came to check we were ok or if we were happy or unhappy with our meal sadly the staff were very unfriendly and not very sociable if anything they wanted you in and out. The older lady didn’t seem bothered If someone complains about a meal which we had paid for before we received it the least you would do as a business owner is check on your customer we never got a sorry an offer of a drink to apologise or a thank you as we left very disappointed in the whole experience today and we will not be returning or recommending… We have recently bought a holiday home here and are business owners so would have been recommending to the locals and more. Maybe learn some customer service skills moving forward.

Absolutely delicious!! We had the soup to start which was served with the nicest bread we have had. Thick and flavourful. The beef fell apart, so tender, by far the best I've ever had. The lemon dessert was refreshing and stunning. The service was absolutely impeccable. Could not fault anyone. So warm and friendly but mainly professional. We can't wait gi gi back.

Great cafe, friendly staff and waitress service. Good selection of food on the menu for reasonable prices. Smoked makerel smelled divine. Quite busy and everyone seemed happy with their food. Definitely come here again.

Gluten free, one on crutches and a dog! What a combo & what a great find in Lytham St Anne’s - We enjoyed our first visit today 10/4/23 Fantastic gluten free options, relaxing atmosphere, dog friendly and a really helpful team. A perfect place for a catch up with family. Highly recommend.

Lovely little fashion boutique opened last year. Lots of unique fashions that I've not seen elsewhere. Debbie was great, very helpful and friendly. I loved the accessories, beautiful bags and belts. Lots of cotton and linen items, coòl and light, just perfect for summer.

We only stayed for coffee but I didn't feel too welcomed. My coffee had way too much syrup in, but they gave me a new one immediately.

Brilliant service and food . Rachel and Michelle were amazing, so courtesy and obviously very busy but made time for us . Lovely place , great service. We will be visiting again soon......make sure you do. 😘

Another one of our favourite places in Lytham

Sweet chilli chicken wrap was lovely but the chips were awesome. Best I've had for many a year.

My friend and I ordered bread and butter pudding and drinks, the menu stated that it came with a pot of cream, these arrived with a drizzle of cream no pot and certainly was not bread and butter pudding it was more like bread pudding.

One of our favourite restaurants in Lytham. Great breakfast and great food from tasty, beautifully presented small plates to a full main meal. Staff are lovely too. 10/10

A little expensive but very good food and service.

Absolutely stunning place. It was very clean and the food was well presented. However, the staff and the food itself really let it down. My friend and I ordered a salad and unfortunately, the salad was really dry. I didn’t think you could make a bad salad, but today I was proven wrong. Most of the staff weren’t very friendly or welcoming. In fact, the girl who served us was particularly rude and appeared to be annoyed by us. When we arrived we waited around 10-20 minutes before having to ask a member of staff to come over so we could order drinks. I honestly don’t think I’ve ever waited that long for drinks when visiting a pub/restaurant. Also, the taps were boiling hot in the toilets to the point we couldn’t wash our hands properly. I think this is worrying, especially if a young child was to use them and the fact there is no warning sign about the water. Giving The One an extra star, as again the place itself is stunning/clean and the food was very well presented. However, I will not be visiting again based on the overall experience.

The service was slow and we had to ask for our table to be cleared and the dessert menu but the food and place was really good 😃

Quite disappointed waited 35 mins for a steak sandwich fries and the Mussels . The Mussels were lovely I am told but I had the steak sandwich and was really disappointed. Bits chopped up little mushroom and not very warm. Did not feel we got value for money I hope we caught them on an off day. Our first server was very nice.

Went for Sunday breakfast and left feeling full of good food. What more can you ask for? Good sized portions, even the mini breakfast proved to be too much for the person who ordered it. Nice friendly staff who go out of their way to help you. They adapted the full breakfast to be suitable for a vegetarian which was very much appreciated. Not super cheap, but the bill was less than I was expecting which was a nice surprise. We got a table by the window so it was nice to sit and watch the Lytham residents go about their Sunday business.

Meal was large but very nice Staff were excellent and the interior was exquisite.

We were told to sit at a table when we arrived and someone would come and take our order. Half an hr we had been sat there before the drinks arrived, thats after I said something, no apologies. I ordered chilli which was just warm, not hot as it should be. I had waited that long I couldn't be bothered complaining. I won't be going back!

I have had the delight of visiting The One Lytham a few times and they never disappoint. Their friendly staff make you feel very welcome and their food, coffee and cocktails have been on point every time! Highly recommend a visit!

Called in for a cappuccino with the dog, friendly, professional service and the coffee was one of the best I’ve ever tasted! Chic furnishings, immaculately clean, chilled music (as opposed to what I call “head banging music” ) will definitely return. 😀

Went to "The One" today for the second time in a fortnight. This time for a birthday lunch. The first was after finding by chance on a breakfast cycle ride. Excellent food, decor & service. Pass it on.

Stylish setting, great food and beautiful cocktails. Me and my fiance went to The One Lytham for dinner on Saturday night and loved it. The menu gave a good variety of choice including smaller meals as well as main meal options. We shared the king prawns and chicken small plates for starters and both dishes were cooked beautifully. The chicken had a crispy coating that was actually crispy and seasoned to perfection and the king prawns were full of juicy flavour. For the main course the mrs went for the orange chicken kiev and I went for the hoisin duck rap. Again the food was cooked perfectly; the duck in the rap was succulent and juicy with just enough hoisin sauce to add that little bit of sweetness without overpowering the flavour. Special mention goes to the chips that had that perfect crispy and fluffy combination and were so good that the queen of ketchup didn't even need to add her favourite condiment. We finished the meal off with warm chocolate brownie and homemade carrot cake... need I say more. The drinks menu also offered a generous variety of options. We had a few cocktails along with the meal and they were delicious. There was a great choice of some original cocktails as well as the more classic options. Rather than the sugary artificial taste you get with some cocktails, these cocktails tasted like fresh fruit with a generous touch of alcohol and were beautifully refreshing. The service was really friendly and very efficient. The restaurant is tastefully decorated with white marble tables and touches of black chrome. It is relatively small which contributes to a nice, exclusive feel to the dining experience. The cold white marble and black chrome is broken up with well placed plant life which contributes to the modern feel. There are lots of good options for food and drink in Lytham but this is The One you should try. Even your fur babies are welcomed into the restaurant so it makes for a great place to hide out while you pretend you're out on a dog walk.

Went to The One today for lunch. Had the salt and pepper chicken and my mum had the Brie and bacon bloomer. Both were excellent. The bread on the bloomer was lovely and soft and the salt and pepper chicken was delicious. All well presented and served by friendly staff who were very attentive and helpful. Would highly recommend.
