The Long Shot in Liverpool

After having our table cancelled at Pins 15 mins before our booking was due, after we had travelled from 40 mins away to get into Liverpool, we rang longshot for a table having never visited before and genuinely ended up having one of the best experiences in a long while. We were greeted by friendly staff members and were offered a choice from their downstairs and upstairs seating. The staff were attentive and the overall atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming. As a vegan, I asked what vegan options there were on the menu and was told that they were redesigning the vegan menu and that it would be out in a few weeks, but that they had fries on the current menu that I could have. What happened next was a massively kind gesture - the staff member we spoke with asked the kitchen if it would be possible to make me something vegan, to which the kitchen kindly agreed to do. They made me a tasty beetroot falafel sandwich, which I ate with the waffle fries. This was a master class in customer service and other venues need to take note! Even if they weren’t able to make me the sandwich, the fact that they went the extra mile to ask the kitchen, was very appreciated. Strongly recommend this place for a nice casual day out.

Watched the Super Bowl here and it was brilliant from start to finish, great atmosphere with loads of offers and prizes to be won. I’ll definitely be heading here again to watch any sport. Best sports bar I’ve been to in Liverpool.

Great venue on multiple levels, they reserved us a big area upstairs which was perfect for us, service was tremendous throughout. Pre-ordered platters and they came out bang on time and were delicious. Great selection of beers too! Top notch to deal with throughout!

Watched match with kids good atmosphere with a couple drinks

Didn't eat but drank and watched the football. We thought it was great! Bevvy across the Mersey beer is fab.

Top venue, booked in for 20 lads for the rugby, staff were great couldn't do more to help. 100% going back!!

Was an amazing bar and food was really good. We had to leave due to a private function but would return again.

The host on duty was amazing and really welcoming. All staff on the night were great. Took us straight to our table and put the wales game on for us. Will definitely be going back

Only downside was thought the beer was a bit pricey at £5.50/£6.20 but you pay for amazing surroundings and great views of match. Would defo recommend.

Went to get a drink looking for a pool table and there was one downstairs busy. They let us go upstairs (nobody was upstairs at the time). We had a fun time playing pool with essentially a private area haha, nice sofa. Also there was a 2 for 1 cocktail offer so we got some sweet red cherry drink that was surprisingly quite nice :) Great place to come when it's quiet, in my opinion. Just wish there wasn't a super bright light shining in through the window.

Super fun sports bar, with many hugs tv's, pool tables and darts. Welcoming and warm vibes.

Chose the long shot bar as a venue to meet to watch a Liverpool game. Excellent choice we will be back.

Friendly atmosphere, service was excellent. Staff very polite. Highly recommend for watching your favourite football team or just a night out if you want a sports orientated atmosphere.

I helped to organise our staff summer party here and everyone had a great time. Had exclusive hire, Ed was great in the organising in the lead up to the event and very attentive over the evening itself. Great venue - doesn’t feel too big or small, love the layout with both downstairs and balcony. Well stocked bar and great offer on drinks vouchers for the evening. Food went down incredibly well. Thank you for helping to make it a great evening.

This is the 2nd year that we have held our company Xmas event at Longshot. A great bar with a good set up, which includes a pool table and darts to keep the teams entertained. Plenty of staff on hand to serve drinks and food and Ed was brilliant ensuring that a good time was being had by all. I definitely recommend 👍.

Was a really good night but they told me on the night i had reached the min spend and id get my deposit back and they never gave it back to me and claimed i hadnt spent enough to get it back

Went to watch the football as it’s classed as a sports bar, it’s a bit out of the way on Albert dock, went in nice and cosy vibe, quite dark, low ceilings upstairs etc, ordered food (sandwiches) and sides with drinks and whilst the food was really nice I couldn’t help being slightly stunned at drinks prices? Avg £6 a pint, I’m a local so this place seems to set its price for the tourists, myself and wife had 4 drinks each over the time of the football and the bill for drinks alone was over £60 so as much as staff were great and atmosphere good it is limited in seating space and prices for Liverpool are v steep.

Amazing food, the staff could not do enough for us. It's a great place, and not as pricey as some of the other places on the Dock. It's the best food I've had on the waterfront... by a long shot! 😉

We hired the Long Shot for a joint 21st / 50th birthday party and it was the best decision we could have made. Before the event Ed made sure everything was exactly as we wanted it. The night itself was amazing! Service and staff were excellent and the atmosphere was fantastic. I had so many comments from friends and family about what a great night they all had. The food was AMAZING!! I didn’t know what to expect beforehand but I was absolutely blown away. I will definitely be back, even if just for the food!! Thanks so much Ed and everyone involved in the night! It was just the best!

Came back to watch the Rugby World Cup final after watching Six Nations here earlier in the year. Loads of screens and great atmosphere. The staff are really pleasant and efficient and the food was amazing.

The owner put on a Championship match for us as we’d come from Southampton for the weekend. Excellent friendly service and good atmosphere. Child friendly too.

Brilliant night had by all at a private works event! Ed was extremely helpful both beforehand and during the night making sure all ran smoothly. Perfect for private events and a great location. Will definitely be going back for some cocktails!

For a RWC game - there was very little interest - which i found surprising. It was also seriously hot in the venue. Venue was good, great character.

Booked here for a stag doo afternoon watching football results and night game on a Saturday. We paid for the champions league package, food was excellent and way too much for 16 of us. Excellent service and would defo recommend.

Excellent had a private party here staff were great in the run up and on the night, great venue, food was perfect and excellent value would use again thank you lovely touch to put the pics around on screens too 👌

Fab venue in an excellent location. We had a party in the upstairs section and the staff were great. Would definitely recommend this as venue for anyone that wants a cool laidback venue with cool staff :) Thanks again guys you were great.

Great sports bar not that expensive.

Just what we were looking for. I visited here with my 8 year old son and had a table booked. ( well it was more a prop up the bar sort of table but it was fine as we were there just tto watch the football. Screes everywhere and a great game of pool was had during half time. Drinks a little pricey but isn’t everything lately. A great few hours in the Long shot. Thank you

Visisted here over a month ago and the benches outside stained the childrens clothing which was brand new on that day. I assume it was the heat had maybe heated the paint up on the benches as they were not fresh painted and no signs to indicate they were freshly painted. The bar said they’d reimburse me for the items ruined and yet they keep fobbing me off saying they will send the payment and never do. I’ve been waiting over a month now. Apparently the payment was sent over last Thursday it’s now Tuesday and I’ve not been sent the payment. As I can not respond to the comments made. NO the reimbursement was sent AFTER I had to leave negative feedback as I felt it was my only option to get my money back.

Great food, not a huge variety but a good mix of stuff which will definitely satisfy. Lots of TVs with sport and great atmosphere. Pool tables and more to do.

Great bar right in the heart of Liverpool docks. Bar staff friendly and helpful. Washrooms are clean and well maintained. Can't comment on food as we never ate there, prices for alchol were reasonable for city area.

We arranged a surprise party for my gf which we hosted upstairs in long shot. We were able to bring our laptop and connect it to the TV screen to display photos and play a quiz, which was so much fun and such a good addition to the venue. We had our own corner to decorate and use and the staff were so helpful and nice. We appreciate everything they did for us, Ed who organised most of it was super helpful and dependable, would definitely recommend this place!

Went here on the Saturday of the Open. This "Sports bar" only has 6 or 7 beers on tap. No bitters whatsoever. opened on Saturday without one of their very few beers and ran out of another in the first hour. I can't give good marks to a bar without beer.

What Great Wings - not many choices but done very well!

Booked here for a 21st birthday party. We where over the moon with the layout of the place, they went the extra mile to keep us happy, they also provided the buffet food wich was quality and even the better the dj they provided for us. I would highly recommend this place to all. Thank you

Wow don't even know where to begin. I had been here a few times previously for a drink and a little bite to eat. We decided to have our engagement party here last night and im totally overwhelmed and blown away. From my first enquiry the manager Ed has been in contact with me helping arrange literally what was the best night of my life. I've had so much feedback from family and friends about how amazing the bar was! Now onto the food!!! Unbelievable well worth the money we paid and just the right amount people even had seconds it was so delicious. I can't thank Ed and Wes enough for everything they did to make our night so special and thank you to all the bar staff, security and everyone involved in making our night so special. Definitely recommend this bar and will definitely be back!

Didn’t have food, came for drinks and F1. Great sports bar and vibe with ample screens to watch a major sports event. Will definitely come again next time we visit Liverpool.

Excellent . Came to docks for a stroll with my partner. Never realised the bar was dog friendly so my partner waiting outside with our poodle. Staff allowed us to bring him inside and gave him water and treats. Lovely place lovely staff

Great staff, brilliant service. We held our end of season awards and delivered a presentation. Lots of screens so everyone could see. Slide show of our photos across the season as the players arrived was a lovely touch too! Very successful evening. Thank you so much!!

The worst waitress ive ever come across ,not at all freindly and totally disinterested. Food was poor and the steak sandwich inedible.

Had steak sandwich it was inedible full of grizzle waitress bad attitude had to ask for basic knives forks napkins got our order wrong to begin with

Worst lunch I've had in a long long time. The steak sandwich is appaling. Chewy and difficult to eat. Service poor also, waitress had zero interest in us. Total waste of money.

The worst place I have eaten. Steak sandwich x3 unedible, very poor grumpy waitress who just tutted when was asked for basic items like napkins and cutlery. Avoid if at all possible.

Great atmosphere, booked a table for food, welcomed and friendly table service throughout our visit. Only thing that let it down was the door staff shouting that we needed to go downstairs due to a private party, 10 minutes after our food had arrived and 20 minutes before our table booking ended, but we ignored her and finished up anyway, assuming it was an early warning. Thanks for a great time.

The Longshot bar was fantastic for my husband’s birthday party. We hired the top floor and it was perfect. The staff helped every step of the way from booking right up to the night and throughout. They went above and beyond and would highly recommend the venue for parties. Our guests also commented on how good the venue was and also how nice the food was.

We recently had our end of season presentation here. The management and the staff went above and beyond for us. We couldn’t have asked anymore from them. We will definitely be looking at having next years event here

Disappointing! As a sports bar we expected to go and watch all the build up before the game , half time talks and the interviews etc at end of match. But music is on right up until kick off and sound turned off again at half time and as soon as match ends playing music again, if I wanted to listen to music I wouldnt go to a 'Sports' bar . Doesnt really live up to its name unfortunately.

It was very clean, with a vibrant atmosphere and the staff are excellent. It is situated at Albert Docks next to the Premier Inn hotel. We called there 3 times during our stay

I had my 21st at the venue, the staff were unreal with me from the second I inquired to after the party. The staff on the night were all lovely and so helpful too and the venue itself was perfect for what I wanted. Would definitely recommend to anybody looking for an affordable but really nice place to hire or even just for drinks.

Hosted my husband’s 60th birthday party at the LongShot bar and had a fantastic time from start to finish. The staff on the night couldn’t have done more to help the event run smoothly particularly Adda, Jacob, Amber and Nicola. Ed The events and sales manager was so helpful in the planning of the party, helped me secure a DJ and turned up on the night to check everything was in place. My guests loved the venue, we used the screens through the bar to show family pictures and guests could play pool, fussball which the children loved. Highly recommend the venue for parties and the professional staff.

We organised a corporate evening after a conference at ACC convention center. The Long Shot bar and bar staff were fantastic, really helpful. Great food and selection of drinks. 10/10 Great bar
