The best restaurants serving American food in North West

My favourite eating place in Manchester.

Great food, nice ales and reasonably priced.

At Liverpool GBK the menu is so reasonable, the staff are very helpful and I believe the manager I spoke too because his uniform was different to the rest, he was so responsive, very well mannered and give us a lot more information that helped us alot.

They let themselves down with one main course. We both had the crispy duck pancake starter which was outstanding so we were looking forward to our main courses. I had the burger which was decent, you can't really mess that up. My wife had the spatchcock chicken which looked like it had been dropped on an open fire along with the sweetcorn. My wife doesn't like to make a fuss but should have sent it back. The whole plate looked burnt. Pulling off the burnt skin of the chicken left a small morsel of dry chicken. The sweetcorn cob was a lump of coal and past saving. The whole plate looked like someone else may have rejected it for being too burnt and then it was kept warm until someone else accepted it. The problem for them is that we don't make a fuss but we don't return,not just to the restaurant but we won't return for a stay at the hotel again either.

Nice place for a quiet get together if you just want a Drink or if your hungry they do lovely Meals too if your feeling Hungry.

Good atmosphere friendly staff and a good night out

Food tastes great and the staff are really friendly but the place is a dump. Doesnt seem like the restaurant is ever cleaned... there was food and dirty dishes left on other tables and not cleared the whole time we were there (no one was even sat at those tables when we arrived). Upon searching the food hygiene score they have only scored 2. So no surprise that 24hrs after eating there we all have food poisoning.

Ordered online came early was hot, well seasoned, and just all round very good. They even put a hand written note on the bag saying “enjoy your food”. Would have put a picture of our food but me and sister devoured it all already :)

Big Thanks to ismail the service was really good and the kunafa cup that he served was absolutely delicious.
