Slim Chickens Arndale in Manchester

Terrible. Massive q to place an order. Staff kept on interupting each other. Ignoring customers. Tables dirty. Waited 15mi s gor a coffee and some chips. Wouldn't go back. Restaurant was not busy only 10% of tables being used

Horrible attitude. If it's busy hire more people but don't remove the frustration on customers. Guy in black shirt needs to learn customer service. Overall entire staff is cold and unfriendly. As though they are giving food for free our of force. I wish I could give zero stars for the attitude of the staff. Never coming back here again. Hopefully that will make them less busy and happier of fewer of us show up

Overall a good experience here. Nice staff. Good atmosphere, found space to sit down. My only critique is that none of the spicy food has nu symbols or words describing the items as such. My girlfriend struggles with spicy food and our friends had to swap her burger with her 'Nashville' chicken strips so she could enjoy her meal. But everything else was delicious. So beware 'Nashville' is spicy 😅

We had a great meal very fast service really good products we went to the Archies at the Arndale and we looked after by Raj who is an outstanding individual. Highly recommend.

I am from Birmingham was looking for something to eat .I went to Archies and experienced the food was excellent. Staff named especially raj was so friendly and respectful he came up to me a couple of times if I needed anything.

Great service and price (using Archies App). Raj who was serving was excellent in terms of helping out and made us really feel welcome.

Came to break my fast at this site , was not served on time I was left more than 15min waiting for my order and I was fasting . Very disappointing as no one seemed to care if I didn’t come back I would have waited for another 15min . The fries were not fresh and the burger was dry with less sauce inside . Not coming back again .

Greasy, tasteless burgers. Own brand coke comes with no ice and tastes like lidl rola-cola. Untidy restaurant - salt and sauce all over the table, chairs and floor. Nowhere in the restaurant to wash the grease off your hands. Only redeeming feature was the crinkle chips weren’t horrendous.

The food was average, the table I was sitting on wasn't spotless, and it felt a little sticky. Raj gave us a good service experience. Usually, it's pretty busy, but it was a relaxing atmosphere due to Ramadan. It would be nice to see healthy options such as salad bowls with options for different grilled meats—air-fried food such as fries, and other potato options like jacket potatoes/ mash. Deep-fried fries actually upset my tummy as they were a heavy dish for me. Steam different vegetable varieties (mushrooms, bell peppers, carrots, broccoli) and rice options( white or brown rice steam). Different grill options, not just chicken. You can also make your food with options excluding the sauces or create your meal with meal deals.

Little on the quieter side but overall a comfortable visit , food came out in average time , qr code at table wasn't working tho advertised to use it however the service at the till point by Raj was excellent and gave pleasant table service

Due to a problem with the milkshake machine, we waited over 35 minutes for 5 drinks. The person at the till didn't let us know they were having issues so we were left hanging around. Milkshakes were nice, but not 35 minutes wait, nice.

After being open for a few years you would think staff would be more up to speed at cooking/taking orders/serving food. Staff at this branch are perpetually slow and at time will have you waiting 25-30mins for your food to arrive. If you're in a rush do not bother visiting this place as you will be kept waiting. This place has 2 tills yet only one person will be on the tills taking orders. People, you're best off going to one of the surrounding restaurant in the arndale food court. If you want to waste time then this is the perfect place for you yet if you value your time avoid it! What they lack in service they make up in decor and average at best food! EDIT:- 22/02/2025 People 5 Guys in Arndale is now fully Halal. Their burgers are far far superior and dont have to wait nearly 30mins. Also, 5G burgers are customizable. Head there of you want a great burger.

Food took ages to come. The chicken burger was quite dry Ordered cheesy fries which was £2 more than the crinkle fries and it had the tiniest drizzle of cheese sauce on. Absolute disappointment. The other branches are better than this one.

So I went to Archies I hears about there burgers they were good I ordered the spiciest burger it was freshly made but it was not too spicy but I really like the taste and the pink lemonade was amazing the service was fantastic there thanks to Raj who work there he is really helpful and cheerful person.

I ordered a collection. Slightly cold when I received it even though I was there at the time requested. The burger wasn’t too bad , the truffle fries were missing the cheese that was meant to be included :( . The milk shake was the worst part , the butterscotch sauce on the side tasted out of date and artificial. Won’t be returning.
