Went to Orme for Sunday roast after booking online. I asked for a table away from front door which was prepared for us. Orme has a comfortable and modern interior. Maitre d’ was very friendly and knowledgeable. Food was a delight, particularly the rump of beef. I sampled the low/no alcohol drinks - the sparkling chardonnay was exceptional. Desserts were excellent and a lovely end to a hugely enjoyable meal. Thank you to all the Orme staff for this wonderful experience x

Precis: Wow! Excellent! Any other superlative you choose! Full review: What a wonderful gem of a find! From the start the welcome was warm and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble for Gary, Donna and their team; what a diamond they have found in Jack! The quality of the furnishings is very high, the fittings top class and the home made biscuits in the bedroom were delicious! Even a welcome decanter of sherry to start off your stay! The hallway walls are adorned with award plaques from numerous organisations! The grounds were extensive and very well kept. We had read about the wild red squirrels and hoped we may get to spot one - no fears there; we watched them running around the garden and feeder each day! Now for the food! Absolutely excellent! Each evening started at 7pm with canapés and good conversation with fellow guests, most of whom seem to be repeat visitors, with good reason! Gary is very personable and quite the bon viveur, his knowledge of wine is excellent, after all by his own admission he has been in the game for a good number of years! The four course dinner menu is set, no choices, but the menu is on display each morning and I'm sure that alternatives could be organised if enough notice were given. Each course was exquisite, served piping hot (where appropriate!) and presented beautifully, as was the table in general. Service was efficient, friendly and knowledgeable. Breakfast was just as good! Hazel Bank has seven rooms and the restaurant is open only to residents. All this means that each guest gets very personal, and personable, service from start to finish! If you think that this review is a little enthusiastic then I doubt you've visited! Don't get me wrong, it isn't for everybody and nowhere is totally perfect, but Hazel Bank gets VERY close!

Amazing fish and chips as ever, but what really made my visit special today was the lovely, friendly and very smiley service from Alona. She is a credit to the restaurant!

Ricardo is an amazing host and all the servers are great. The food is gorgeous and the cocktails are sublime. Take the time to enjoy this little gem.

Outstanding food delightfully served and paired with great wines in beautiful surroundings

Myself and my family love this place! The food is excellent and the staff are always friendly whilst knowledgeable regarding their tasty menu. My hubby had the lamb shank which was so tender it literally falls from the bone and melts in your mouth, he wants the secret recipe! My daughter and her partner each had the paphos chicken souvlaki which was huge and along with the sides would quite easily be enough for two diners. I chose the cypriot chicken and again it was a good sized portion along with being extremely delicious. We’ve always enjoyed our Brizola experience each time we’ve dined here and would highly recommend, definitely 10/10.

Having spent a few days in New Brighton in our camper van we decided to treatourselves to breakfast and found the Driftwood cafe only a short distance from the sea front. We were happy to see that the cafe was dog friendly.Having ordered 2 small cooked breakfasts and 2 caramel coffees,what can I say the food was absolutely lovely and coffee's were perfect 👌. They also do food for your dog,my dog enjoyed his sausage in his own little bowl. I would certainly recommend a visit to the Driftwood cafe 💯.Staff very polite and very friendly.Look forward to our next trip to New Brighton and visit to the Driftwood Cafe.Thank you to all the lovely staff. We went to Angels for our second visit, taking my sister and brother in law, using a voucher we purchased for my brother in laws birthday and christmas present. The only word we can use is WOW The food the staff and the atmosphere were amazing, the music is just right, the right sound and volume so you can all talk comfortably, but can still here the music. The food is wonderful and I can't wait until we go back again.

This was honestly one of the best meals we have ever had! We have eaten at several Michelin star restaurants over the years including 3 star ones and 1863 restaurant is equally as good if not better! We could not fault any of the dishes we ate and they were both beautifully presented and delicious! The waitresses were so attentive and friendly and made the whole experience perfect. We were celebrating our 15th wedding anniversary and we will remember this meal for a long time…..thank you so much!

Great little country pub, saved by the locals and run by a super amenable landlord. Serves good food, which is of a high standard and good value. Can get v busy. Probably need to book for dinner. Gordon Ramsey would approve of menu - its not too big and yet everything is consistently done well. Popular with locals and tourists apart. Worth the detour.

First time visit. Pre booked meal as a present by someone else. The food, staff, location and service was top class. Will definitely visit again. Highly recommend to anyone looking for top rated fine dining food at a reasonable price and service with a real smile.

A well earned lunch after a good walk, great pies, eaten in the late winter sunshine ! We had one beef, one chicken and one spinach, all with mash and gravy. Lovely staff, can only thoroughly recommend
