What an amazing place, lovely staff and locals. Good selection of drinks. Spent a lot of time in here recently. Pool table and darts board is great. Beer garden is nice with heaters too!! Everything your local pub needs. Will continue to come back

Fantastic pub to spend evenings in with friends or family. Atmosphere is great with the pool table, leads to great pool tournaments and the live singer nights they have. The selection of drinks alcoholic and non alcoholic is great as a non alcoholic drinker. The owners and workers are welcoming and amazing as always.

Love this place, weekend bands on also open mic night on Sunday. Pool available, snug room with roaring 🔥 (fire). Outdoor space with heaters in cold weather. BBQ's in summer, great atmosphere, and very friendly. Landlady is really nice,and makes you feel welcome.

Lovely traditional pub with a great atmosphere. The staff were lovely and very helpful. We were there after a works Christmas party and has a fab time. The live music was brilliant.

Nice old fashioned pub with cosy snug areas. Bitterly cold out so they made me a lovely mug of tea. Hubby was on the real ale which he enjoyed.

Good bar and a traditional interior. With a pool table, garden and two side rooms. A varied selection of ales. Some days pies are available at the bar. Dog friendly with a full jar of dog treats. A varied programme of events throughout the week.

I met up with friends on a Sunday night. Open mic night. What a brilliant experience. Still makes me laugh. Well worth a visit.

This pub is amazing, had my 60th there with live music brilliant night very welcoming. My daughters 30th great night and dj and karaoke wonderful night. Sunday open mic night great atmosphere. A great qwerky (dog friendly) pub which caters for all people, especially walkers and music lovers (apparently the Sunday evenings are quite something!)They have a good selection of beers and you are always made to feel very welcome. We will be calling in again, cheers 🍻

Great local community based pub, full of locals! Large selection of real ales with 8 handpumps to choose from, mostly from the Marstons range, with some guests. Street parking might be a challenge at busy times. I would visit again for sure!

We are a rambling group who turn up wet and muddy and we are welcomed by real fires real ales and towels water and treats for the dogs. A nice couple of pints after a good 10/12 mile walk.

Very friendly staff, especially the new landlady Gill. I love the Open Mic Nights 🎤. The pub is always warm and cosy and I just love it!!! I hadn’t been into The Prince of Wales before Gill took it over, so I can’t compare to what it was like but I’ve heard nothing but amazing feedback from everyone I’ve met in there. Will definitely be returning this weekend!

Great selection of wines, real ales and spirits. Court yard at the rear of the pub is a great little sun trap for a cheeky pint on a sunny afternoon.

The Prince of Wales Cowling Brow is a really nice pub. Also my local. Its always very clean and presenbtable. The landlady Gill, Charlie & all the staff are very welcoming, cheerful and helpful. Nothing is too much trouble for Gill & her staff. The beer tastes good and they have a very good range of other drinks, if lager isn't your thing. There is a pool room, also with dart board, along with lots of other board games , domino's & cards to keep you entertained. I have recently had family gatherings in there and each and everyone of us was made to feel welcome. We celebrated my brothers 40th in January there, & we also had live entertainment on, Craig who runs the open mic night on a Sunday set it up for us & himself Fin & Charlie kept us all entertained throughout the evening. Only the other week we had another get together there with my work colleagues as one was leaving work, Gill let me make and take up buffet food & Charlie once again set the Mic up and kept us entertained all evening. Absolutely fantastic service all round, nothing is to much trouble for them. They have entertainment on most weekends & Sunday evenings the Prince is definitely the place to be for the open mic night. Also big back garden, that is lovely (especially in the summer, proper suntrap-which i love) Dog friendly pub, with doggy treats for all (free too) & plenty of water bowls for them too. 🐕

This is a traditional laid back pub that has a pool table and outdoor seating. Dogs are also welcome here so for canine owners this is the perfect pub to visit in Chorley. They also have a variety of board games you can play which passes the time with pals really nicely!

Brilliant local pub, friendly, helpful staff. I am usually found here on Open Mike nights, great music. The ale is well kept, the atmosphere is great, always someone interesting to talk to. The Prince of Wales is an old fashioned type local. Extremely well run by Frank & Carol. Nice atmosphere good selection of beers. No Sky TV which personally I like gives you chance to have a conversation with the locals. Nice fresh sandwiches daily and the best pork pies in Lancashire

Went to see Hyena, a live two piece band, venue was great, band were greater!! Go to see them if you get the chance.
