Absolutely adore the americanos from here, staff are always so friendly and polite too, a great credit to the coffee industry

Attended this morning for a sausage sandwich. Great, happy, helpful staff. Qucik service and superb sausages. Enticed to buy a homemade sausage role for lunch as they looked so good. I had this for my lunch and it was so worth the wait as it was just so good. Salt and pepper, not to hit and so good. So. Much choice for all. Thanks for your amazing service.

A pleasant cafe and atmosphere but the food choices and service were lacking. My friend and I met here as half way between us - it’s in a nice setting with tables inside and outside. We were surprised that the menu choices were so limited, literally a few bagels and sandwiches - we ordered a BLT and a salmon bagel. They were ok but pretty pricey. The cakes were very small portions indeed and didn’t appear home made. Service not very friendly either - pretty basic - won’t be returning

This is a lovely light and relaxing place to meet friends for coffee and snacks. There is always someone to talk to or if you want to be quiet they will leave you alone!! Great cappuccino and you also get a little glass of smarties with every order. It is a gift and book shop too.

Plenty to choose from on the menu, and the pies and sausage rolls are home made & looked so tempting, The cakes looked so tempting, will try them at another time, yes we certainly will return,

Visiting a new place to eat at is something very special to me, why you may ask because variety is the spice of life even with food......it turned out to be a very nice surprise in the end and well worth the visit with many more to come.

I'm sat here right now eating the best belly buster breakfast Ive had in a very long time. Fast friendly service. Had to wait a few mins for a table but well worth it

This really is a great little cafe. The food is top quality, great customer care and amazing value for money. My wife has special dietary needs but these are met every time, no problem and no fuss. Thank you to Kevin and Becky, much appreciated.

Lovely little pub/bar in Spital. Lots of blokes frequent to watch the footie but they do a good pint and it's a change from the big chain pubs, little and atmospheric.

Ordered a delivery (via UberEats) and the desserts were spot on. Delivery arrived a little earlier which is always great and the desserts were just what we needed on a cold Sunday night.

Very rarely will I give any eatery 5 stars, but this one certainly breaks the rules. My wife and I had finished shopping and were looking for somewhere for lunch...kids were on "Half Term" and all the usual places were noisy and really hammered. I have to be honest, as we approached the "Pro Power Health Bar." we weren't sure what to make of it.....it didn't really look like a place for food, but more like one of those "Smoothie" bars, that are so often, there one minute and gone the next. But as we decided to venture in and talk to the young lady about what kind of food was on offer, we became more and more interested. She explained how the meals were put together and she impressed us that much with her enthusiasm, that we readily ordered a chicken and a steak burrito, respectively, with a side order of sweet potato wedges and two teas. When the orders arrived, it looked really great, served on a wooden platter and the food spoke for itself..beautifully cooked, fresh, fabulously tasty and just full of goodness. With "Fast Food" numbers,worryingly at their highest for all time, Pro Power Health Bar, is a huge contrast and truly a breath of fresh air....simple, fresh, nutritious food, cooked and presented really well, with a "Super Value" bonus. I do hope they are here to stay, 'cause, "We'll be back !"

I’ve been eating here for a few years. Food is English carvery, always cooked to the same high standard. I’ve never had a bad meal, and the prices are better than most fast food outlets. Neil deserves all the success he gets.

Excellent and well presented food. Good selection of drinks. Pleasant waiters. Lovely atmosphere. Good with children and sensible children's menu.
