This is a lovely light and relaxing place to meet friends for coffee and snacks. There is always someone to talk to or if you want to be quiet they will leave you alone!! Great cappuccino and you also get a little glass of smarties with every order. It is a gift and book shop too.

This place is such a little gem of a "find", and I've been many times now. It's situated in the pleasant, quieter Park Green area of Macclesfield, with easy on road parking, or a cheap Pay and Display car park directly opposite. The atmosphere and the staff (all volunteers) are very warm and friendly. The cappuccino's are good. The hot bacon baguettes are totally yummy, and made with tasty fresh bacon supplied by top butchers, Spearings, who are next door but one. I don't have a sweet tooth, but the cakes always look very appetising, and my friend assured me hers was delish. Prices are very reasonable too. I shall try one of the other snacks next time. Oooo, I don't know though - those extra special bacon butties are always so tempting. My mouth's watering just thinking about one!! In fact, I'm going to have to go and have one NOW, as soon as I've finished writing this, that is. Whenever I've popped in on my own, I've always got chatting to some really nice friendly people. I'm not religious, but interestingly it was set up by a collaboration of 39 of the local churches to serve the Macclesfield community, I guess as a sort of friendly meeting place. But also to create funds for various needy projects, both from the sale of the food and drink purchased, and an assortment of gift items, cards, books etc. So your hungry tummies are also providing monies for good causes. Do Go - it's GOOD. Right, speaking of hungry tummies, I'm whizzing off down there right away, for one of those tasty bacon . . . .

Hope Centre is a great place for a good coffee and a chat. It is a Christian coffee shop and bookshop that sells an interesting range of food and books & gift products. I had a lovely bacon sandwich. Accessible for 1hr off street parking.

Lovely brekkie yet again. Donna and Co make you feel really welcome. Good food and well priced. Third week in a row we've been and we'll continue coming because of how nice it is.

Lovely afternoon tea for three. Two of us vegetarian but didn't feel like we missed out at all. Everything freshly prepared and friendly service - even after I got the time wrong and arrived 30 mins later than expected! Would recommend highly.

What a great place! The breakfast was excellent, the decor beautifully done with a mixture of themes and all the staff were fabulously cheerful and helpful. What’s not to like? Great to see an independent doing so well in these days of multinational chains. They have lots of regulars coming in and not surprising! Highly recommended! Thank you to you all.

We go to the tearooms often, but for the first time I had the smashed avocado for lunch and it was absolutely delicious. They were out of the sourdough bread but the wholemeal was just as good! And such good value, with the smiliest of young waitresses! They were very busy indeed, but we didn't have to wait long. An absolute gem in our village with Emma's delicious homemade cakes too! Super
