Cherry Blossom Bakery in Cheshire East

We ordered our wedding cake from Cherry Blossom Bakery and would definitely do so again. It was so tasty and looked so beautiful (I'll try to add more pics when we get them from our professional photographer). Importantly for us they made a tier of the cake gluten free (groom has a wheat allergy) and it was a hit -- incredibly tasty. They also made some vegan cupcakes so all our guests could enjoy a taste. All our guests loved it and we can't thank the team enough!

In my opinion, this is still the best "coffee shop" in Macclesfield. Great coffee, great food and lovely staff make it the complete package. If you haven't been, I strongly recommend that you go.

Found this cafe quite by chance whilst visiting Macclesfield . Very nice decor and great friendly service . More room upstairs . Good to support small local businesses in an area of the town that needs some investment . EDIT Aug 24 ,, visiting Macc again and called in at this tea shoppe again . Just as good as our first visit . Lovely atmosphere , lovely cakes , drinks and friendly service . Well done ladies 💕

What a lovely afternoon tea we have had today. The sandwiches, scones and cakes were so fresh and tasty. So much to choose from and enough that we had to take some home with us. The ladies in the shop were amazing with my nan, made sure we were sat downstairs as her mobility isn’t too good, and catered to her fussy coffee orders. Extremely friendly staff and nothing was too much trouble. Lovely and clean. Thank you so much x

I am in love with this cafe!! I have booked the bakery for my wedding and I’m already impressed with the amazing taster cakes! They were delicious and I ordered them in vegan which I thought would be hard to find! However, the flavour offers were incredible!! From coffee and walnut, to lotus biscoff, to cherry Bakewell, chocolate, the list goes on and on! Highly recommend!

My daughter held her 'hen' party here last Saturday .They closed the cafe for (19) of us for 2 hour.s They were very welcoming and happy for us to put up a few balloons etc The food-afternoon tea- was lovely (especially the scones)and plentiful, and we had 'doggy ' bags to take away And at £20 head extremely reasonableA very happy afternoon . Tonight was my last cake decorating class this year (for me). It's been a year long challenge & adventure, learning lots of things cakes, fondant, buttercream. Antonia is super friendly & accommodating. She provides excellent materiel & instructions for all at her workshops.Those attending have also made every class fun & informative, sharing our strengths. I have learned so much. So much so that I have made the icing flowers for a wedding cake, following instruction & guidence from Antonia. This workshop is top quality & fun. Worth every penny. Antonia at Cherry Blossom Bakery made our wedding cake and it was out of this world! Antonia was amazing to work with and so patient and responsive to our numerous questions. The final cake was incredible - four tiers, different flavours, different dietary requirements which were easily accommodated, and figures to look like us on top! It was absolutely delicious and so many guests commented that it was the best wedding cake they'd ever had. Would highly recommend.

The semi-naked vanilla cake was simple yet elegant, and the lemon and blueberry cupcakes were really popular with our guests. Everything tasted as good as it looked. We used Cherry Blossom Bakery for our wedding cake and it was just perfect! Antonia did an amazing job and made a beautiful cat themed cake! Our friends and family loved it and said how it was perfect for our wedding and fitted our personalities. We chose a 2 tier lemon cake with fondant icing and it was so tasty. Fortunately someone made sure that there were a few pieces left for us to enjoy the next day!! Discussing our cake and organising for it to be delivered locally was defiantly one of the easiest things we had to organise for the wedding. Antonia made everything super easy! The bakery is a lovely place to pop in for a drink and cakes. I always bring visiting family here for afternoon tea and everyone leave happy!

Wow wow wow. A must if you live or visit Macc. Really friendly, lovely food and tea, and excellent value for what you get. A fantastic experience, for my Cuban girlfriend on her first trip to the UK.

We had a fantastic afternoon tea at Cherry Blossom Bakery. Lovely sandwiches, perfect lemon drizzle, gorgeous cup cakes, outstanding scones and an enormous pot of tea. An absolute gem of a place.

Many of the recent 5 star reviews are from people who have never eaten here who are trying to counter a single 1 star review, and many of them are not reviews about real experiences at Cherry Blossom Bakery. See the businesses FB page for more details + see the amount of times the owner has posted about a single review attempting to get praise in response and start a flurry of visible support. They have even paid money so that their post about the one star review is being seen worldwide. 10 posts(now 11) related to a single bad review comes across desperate (update now 21!!!! Posts on their Facebook related to the bad review, they have deleted some but i took screenshots). Paid ads about the poor review you received seems calculated. For those who haven't been here but are giving postive reviews - you are actually impacting how valid the real positive reviews seem to the public, which hurts the cake shop nearly as much as fake bad reviews. It makes the business seem inauthentic especially as they are even encouraging the fake 5 star reviews. The lack of wheelchair accessibility in the bakery and with the parking nearby is a disappointment, also this is kind of besides the point, but i would absolutely expect a bakery to sell pies and sausage rolls. 😋 In response to your reply, I'm talking about disabled parking. "At the bottom of the hill" is obviously not accessible disability parking nearby. Also considering most of my review is about you encouraging false positive reviews, i find it interesting you skipped over that completely in your response. I'm truly not sure what gave you the impression that I would ever enter your store after this stunt, but I do admire your wishful thinking. Have a nice day :)

We used Cherry Blossom Bakery for our wedding cake and I really can’t thank Antonia enough. Our cake was three tiers with different flavours for each so we had a few tasting boxes to find what we wanted. It was really well organised, and nothing was too much trouble. It was super easy to communicate with Antonia, the cake tasted and looked perfect. Thank you for making that part of our wedding day so special!

We had a few tasting boxes to pick our favourite flavours, and had a 3-tier cake with three different flavours. We had the most wonderful wedding cake from Antonia. We loved the range of flavours, it was wonderful to have a mix of traditional flavours and ones that were a bit different. Our cake looked beautiful but more importantly tasted incredible!

I cannot believe the amount of sad negative people posting about this amazing little bakery. Can I first point out that the Oxford dictionary definition of a bakery is An establishment that sells and makes its own bread and or cakes. It doesn’t even mention pies. For people pointing out parking issues this is no fault of the bakery. If you have a problem with parking or disabled parking take it up with Cheshire east council. It’s not down to the bakery to deal with this. I’ve seen comments about rude staff. This is absolute rubbish they are some of the nicest people you will ever meet and I’ve known them for years. I cannot beleive in the current climate people are out to tarnish the good name of this bakery shame on those people.

Ive never been I live too far away in Canada to visit but Ive definitely had a 5 star experience from the company’s handling of piegate. If im ever in the UK ill visit and pick up a pie next door :)

These guys made my birthday cake and I loved it to much I ordered one for my husband! Both cakes were so perfect and tasted gorgeous and their shop is awesome.

They didn’t have pies, but when I needed a new kidney they provided it they also serviced my car while saving my nan from a burning building, couldn’t believe how well the dry cleaning came out too

It is such a gorgeous tearoom. The staff make you feel part of the family. My son Isaac is nearly three and it's his favourite place to visit with his Nanny and Grandad. We will be visiting again soon with our new arrival. Sarah, Isaac and baby Lochlainn xx

Beautiful and delicious cakes, and the staff are second to none! The service was great and attentive, and the employees were all very kind. My children always look forward to our vists. I don't understand the rash of negative reviews in just the last 24 hours. Anyone who has ever been there, I'm sure would agree with me.

I have no problem with bakeries not serving pies. This is a different kind of bakery, and doesn’t deserve the troll 1 star reviews based on closed-mindedness alone. I’m impressed with their polite responses & genuine lack of bitterness toward these fake reviews.

This place is full of inhospitality, the employees are very rude, I did not feel comfortable with my wife and children here, they looked like our kids annoyed them. I know they can be noisy sometimes but man they are kids, it’s expected of them and should be tolerated, especially in a family oriented business. Cakes were mediocre, not terrible but not great or anything special. Will not come again.

I couldn’t believe it either but they do not sell any pie here. Their other products are mostly cakes that are of a very low quality, not tasty or fresh. I mean it’s a bakery that lacks to offer one of the most signature products of that industry to a customer. Maybe change the concept from bakery to “cake store” ? Imagine going to a furniture store and they don’t sell furniture, just decorative plants. Very same thing. They will just tell you to “get one next door” since they apparently sell them there. That’s a very embarrassing argument I would say. I Do not recommend this place 👎🏻

Had a very disappointing visit to N Carter & Co after discovering they don't sell cake, just pies and non-cake stuff! Imagine! Luckily on the way out I spotted this bakery and enjoyed a delicious Victoria Sponge Cake! 5 Stars!

I visited this beautiful little bakery with my partner as I walk past all the time on my way to work and had been desperate to try these cakes, and I can honestly say they do NOT disappoint! The staff are warm, welcoming and make you feel right at home - it’s not a huge space but super cute and they really make the most of it and do everything they can to accommodate you. My partner and I tried three different cakes and I then ended up ordering us a fourth (we were having a treat day!) I asked about the different types of cupcakes as there are a nice variety of flavours to try and the lady said they rotate these often which I thought was great. The coffee that accompanied my cake was lovely and my partner said his tea was lovely and hot! Running a small business is not easy but these ladies are doing a fantastic job and are a credit to the town of Macclesfield - Needless to say we will be visiting again very soon :D Thank you so much for a wonderful afternoon! X

Some of the best cakes I've ever had (second only to my wedding cake). Always a treat to have these whenever I visit Macclesfield, and has great variety! Also do a delicious afternoon tea. Unfortunately the only photo I remembered to take was after scoffing half the cake delivery.

Came here for afternoon tea with my grandma for her birthday, the lady who served us had a great sense of humor and was very pleasant! The scones were delicious and the cakes were super cute and delicious 😋

Been here for afternoon tea and quite frankly it was wonderful. They are a cake bakery and they make the most fantastic looking cupcakes and special event cakes. Lots of my friends have used their service for outstanding birthday cakes and wedding cakes. I honestly think this may be the best spot for afternoon tea locally in Macclesfield. Top work ladies!

Cherry Blossom Bakery went above and beyond. I'm not local to Macclesfield but called yesterday to see if they could deliver something to my 5 year old niece who does live in Macclesfield. I'd looked online at nationwide companies who specialize in this but I was dubious as to how fresh their products would be. Within 24 hours, & at a very reasonable price, Cherry Blossom Bakery have delivered a gorgeous box of cakes ready for my niece (who has broken her arm, but as she pointed out "not the pudding eating arm") to devour when she gets back from school!
