Well went for Mother’s Day meal and want can I say amazing food and place near let’s u down staff doing a amazing job work so well in time with each other and the chef was lovely and came to talk to us which was really nice to see they care overall Brilliant

Visited this establishment on the recommendation of a friend. However I’m a bit disappointed especially after the hour drive. The coffee shop as a whole looks amazing but the staff are rude, food is ridiculously expensive for what it is and once sat at a table, other than to take my order I was ignored. Whilst paying I could hear obscenities from the kitchen along with the reception/counter staff using mobile phones. Rather than cause a ruckus in-front of the other paying customers I decided to pay my way and then leave promptly. Sorry but I won’t be returning.

Absolutely fabulous food, setting and staff. The owner and all of the staff were attentive and friendly. Great selection of food and beautiful presentation. Will definitely be back. Highly recommended. One of our party is disabled and staff helped us to our table. The building has great accessibility for disabled people too.

Had a lovely tasty lunch called in on an off chance were warmly welcomed quick service and lovely hot and very tasty food. Fish and chips and the lamb hot and lovely.

I ordered Falafel and Hummus in a sandwich. Unfortunately it was quite dry and a bit salty. My friend had an Avocado, Mozarella and Sundried Tomato Panini. We were asked if we wanted to share a portion of chips and we agreed. These were presented in a small mug and were very greasy, limp and dark (old potatoes and old cooking oil I think). Not what we expected at all. The cafe was in nice surroundings and the staff were very friendly and pleasant. Not sure I'll be dashing back though.

The best meal we’ve been served in a long while. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. From the moment we came through the door we were treated really well. The food was beautifully presented and of a high standard. I did take a photo but had already eaten some of the food before doing so which meant my photo couldn’t do it justice. We will definitely return. It has to be one of the best places to eat in Cumbria.

Where do I start, my wife and I have visited this wonderful Coffee Shop and Eatery on a number of occasions because it is so good, excellent quality food, great service and a fantastic place to visit. For starters my wife had the cheesy garlic bread which is the best we have ever tasted and I had one of the Christmas menu starters, the Pigs in blankets on a bed of cheesy mash, both were awesome. For our mains, my wife chose the Fish and chips which she absolutely loves and I spotted the recently added Crofton Street Food section which I decided to sample, choosing the Korean Chicken. Wow what a great choice, I was asked how hot I would like the dish to be so I opted for full strength as I enjoy spicy food. It was absolutely delicious, the level of spice and flavour was perfect, the chicken was melt in the mouth and overall the dish was superb. To accompany this, even though it came with fluffy rice, I ordered a portion of sweet potato fries and again these were perfect. To finish my wife chose the Pear and Ginger trifle, an unusual combination of flavours which is inspired and delicious. I opted for the Christmas pudding with brandy sauce which is also an absolute winner. I cannot speak highly enough of this venue and would thoroughly recommend it for quality, value for money and just a great place to visit for friendly, warm service.

This was our first time to visit this place, the staff were very friendly and very welcoming. The place was very clean and well presented. The food was the best me and the wife have ever had!!!!!!!! I had steak and ale pie For pudding, sticky toffee, with custard. I can’t explain in words how good it was. If anyone is wanting amazing food, I would highly recommend. I have eaten that much I’m off for a nap 😴
