Having noticed this restaurant for the first time when alighting from the train at Burnley Manchester Rd station I decided to give it a try. What a hidden gem! There is a small amount of on street parking outside, other than that there is the station car park. The restaurant is well decorated and modernistic in style. The only negative I can give is that the restaurant was relatively empty and when I walked in no staff were to be seen and it was almost 5 minutes before I was shown to my table. This all added to a slight lack of atmosphere. However, once shown to my table I could find no fault at all. The menu has most of the usual favourites as well as some stylish English dishes. There is a small selection of alcoholic drinks. I went for the sheek kebab starter which was first class. The dish was extremely well presented with a side salad with a delicious dressing. For main I had the chicken korahi which again had the most sublime flavour being both spicy and of very generous portion size. This was served with a plain naan which also didn’t disappoint. Apart from the service issue on entering the restaurant I couldn’t fault anything. I shall certainly pay a repeat visit and I can thoroughly recommend to anyone wishing to enjoy authentic Indian cuisine.

Having spent a long day watching Ashes cricket on our return we dropped in. First visit, wont be the last. Great food,friendly service and excellent value. Service continued after we left as we had left a bag containing a phone, wallet etc. Having called us to establish the situation they very kindly delivered the left items to our address within 15 minutes. Good honest people delivering quality food at reasonable prices with an exceptional level of service. We also have you down for our next take away. 10/10 in all areas.

Wow £45. For 2 people 3 courses. 2 and half pints and 2 cocktails. Food and drinks amazing. Service fantastic. Will definitely be going again. Portions are massive

Whilst visiting friends in Burnley they took us to this fab little restaurant tucked away by the railway station. Warm welcome by Shami who explains the menu and can add or take things out of your chosen dish. Food was delicious,we have just come back from Goa and it was up there with proper Indian food.They have an early evening offer which is fantastic value for money. Only wish we had an Indian restaurant this good where we live!!

Decided to visit here,the staff were welcoming,it was quiet not many customers. We ordered starters and mains. The food was was served promptly and hot. Ordered the king prawns for mains very good. We even took the remainder of food home. Good value for money. The portions are plentiful

Six of us visited Zil Mil Saturday night for the early bird offer. Wow what can I say, we certainly wasn’t disappointed. The staff were very welcoming and couldn’t do enough for us. The owner even joined in with a few of our jokes ha ha. We couldn’t believe how huge the potions were, the food was remarkable. Excellent value for money, we will definitely be visiting again.

Food arrived 30 minutes late despite being told at 1910 hours that the food was on its way. When I rang to enquire I was told they’d hit the delivery button by accident. 10 minutes later it arrived. I ordered poppadoms and a pickle tray. The “tray” was 2 tubs. one of mango and one of chilli sauce. No onions. £1.95 for 2 tubs. Luckily I’d ordered an extra mango chutney for 50p. I know I don’t have an A level in maths but surely that’s not right? the rogan josh was lamb and sauce. In other places it has onions and tomatoes in. This was just lamb and gravy which tasted a little gritty. The chicken korma was nice, however a small piece of plastic in it. The best part of the meal were the naan’s but that’s not saying much. I know a few people who use this place but I’m not one of them

We decided to visit Zil Mil as we pass it regularly. The food was lovely , fresh and hot . The staff were welcoming efficient and friendly. I would definitely visit again

Went for a birthday meal with my friend. Ordered the mushroom steak which sounded amazing. The chips were HOT and tasted lovely. The mash was instant - a big no no for me. The vegetables came out cold, and the steak was way too over done,very chewy and had bits of fat in it. It wasn’t hot it was lukewarm. It was covered in mushroom sauce with mushrooms which were nice but the steak itself was awful. Won’t go there again. Also we opted for the early bird banquet but they stated that it’s an extra £2 charge if you order a steak or sizzler which we were happy to pay as steaks are expensive cuts of meat. However it really wasn’t worth the money at all. Left feeling disappointed.

Visited for a birthday meal. First time being here. We had poppadoms to start I ordered the Zil mil zing a split king prawns they were very good,others had lamb biryani, chicken Karachi and garlic chicken special.and the lamb shank. Staff very polite and helpful. They have an early bird menu as well. Well worth a visit. Also during the day sell drinks fresh sandwiches,breakfast. Brilliant.

Our 1st time and will not be our last! We had a great night and enjoyed the food in fact we loved it! We started with popadoms and chutney tray followed by 4 starters all of which were really good! We drank cobra and enjoyed garlic, chilli chicken not too. hot and very tasty, mixed biryani, and king prawns which were really yummy! The early bird banquet was fantastic value for money at under £10 with full choice from the main menu and great portions with quality too. All the staff were kind and helpful. Fantastic experience and will be returning!

This place is a great place to eat. We had a nice warm welcome by the very friendly staff members.

Visited on a very cold Sunday afternoon and the welcome could not have been warmer! Nice clean and warm atmosphere. Took our own wine and ordered. My man took on the Naga challenge of red hot chicken wings and Naga extreme curry challenge. I had the sheek kebabs and chicken Madras, rice and chappaties. The Naga was a welcome challenge as he loves his hot curries and the wings were best ever. My meal was just as good. Kebab and Madras excellent. Chappaties were not so go good being not as soft as we like. Verdict by man : best curry he has ever had. So if you know your nagas get to zil mil. Waiters and service were pure perfection. Car parking may be a struggle.

I like an 'Indian' and so do the family, so when a new one appears we take notice.
