Bbq'd in Oldham

We were served quite fast and food came out quite fast. Food was of decent quality, Portion sizes were decent as well as the prices in the place. Bill only came to £50 and for similar food and drinks elsewhere we have spent close to £100. Would highly recommend this place.

Rip off prices for average food. Even Ramadan discount advertised in the window was not given for a collection order. Won't be venturing inside here again.

Absolutely awful! Ordered the shredded chicken from here and it looked like they just drenched it in food colouring. Very bland and a waste of money. Wouldn’t recommend anybody here.

Decided to eat here based on reviews Ordered a Lamb steak, t-bone steak and a couple of sizzler t-bone steaks , with sides of pasta, chips , mash and rice also peppercorn sauce Lamb steak had decent taste to it but the downside was half of it ended up being bones. The t-bone steaks were of a very generous portion size, definitely the biggest I've seen at that price, likewise the steak was decent taste wise, meat was nice n tender at the start but unfortunately three quarters through eating the steak, the meat got harder to eat, ended up getting more chewy. Had no complaints about any of the sides...

Great tasting fresh food, big portions we ordered too much! Spicy donner and burger platter - burger was good, donner cooked in a sauce was excellent. Loaded Nachos were really tasty My husband had the prawns - cooked well, and still juicy

Disappointed.. Before ordering the mix grill, I specifically asked if the seekh kebab was frozen or freshly made. I was told that, it was fresh and the chef mixes all the spices in house. But when it arrived, it was frozen. The texture of the processed meat is way different compare to the freshly made. No matter how much you grill it or however you cook it. It will never change. Please be open with the customer. Chicken tikka was off too. And who puts the sauce on the starter? If I want to eat it with the sauce, then I will add it myself. I ordered mix grill to taste the meat. Not the sauce. Parmasen and the drinks was good.

Very good place to eat. Well priced, their mixed sizzler is enough for 2, perhaps with a small starter, good staff Parking bit of an issue, can park in sainsburys if they are open. Space inside is a bit tight.

The service was a bit poor they weren’t happy with us going in and sitting on a table which was apparently reserved and then told us we have an hour like some sort of threat, though we ended up staying for nearly 2 hours…, I get it was a busy Saturday night but if they want returning customers they need to act a bit more friendly Without being biased the food was around a 3.5/5, good. The starters edged the mains, even if the service wasn’t great, I’ll give them the prices - really good for the portions received

Don’t eat steak often, but this place had the best sirloin I’ve ever eaten. Nachos are also very good

The lamb chops were good, better than average. The main thing is the variety in the sizzler. Portions are huge! Kind and polite staff.

Went with some friends, and found it to be a rather pleasant experience. After a short wait we were shown to our table and given menus. There were a lot of items on the menu, many pretty similarish. I ended up getting a naga mixed chicken and sirloin sizzler which included pasta, vegetables and a peppercorn sauce. The meal arrived piping hot, but I couldn't wait and burnt my mouth several times! The meat was delicious, cooked perfectly, spicy and absolutely hit the spot. The dish was big, and I mean big, so much so that we couldn't finish our meals. Prices were approximately £20 per person with drinks. The place looked clean, staff were friendly and helpful, but parking is awkward. Recommended and would go again. NOTE: CASH ONLY

Visited here after a while as the last time we came, peri burger was freshly grilled soft and scrumptious. However this time it was very poor. Crunchy fried overdone batter then grilled with a bad peri marinade, very poor tasting along with 6oz dry tasteless beef burger. Nachos cheese were great but also lacking the mince meat they used to have too. Overall they are cost saving too much and it's showing in the food. Very poor quality. I hope they read this and make a difference.

Went here today and the customer service was so bad. The short Bengali guy serving was extremely rude and was busy on FaceTime looking at us laughing. Will never be returning here even though the food is actually nice. They need to sort their customer service out ASAP. I cannot believe had we was treated. They also only take cash so they can defraud the Tax man clearly.

The definition of a social media hype job

I visited this restaurant with a group of friends, hoping to book a table for 8. However, our experience took a disappointing turn when the waiter with a beard responded to our payment method query with an unwelcoming attitude. His lack of accommodation prompted us to leave immediately and seek another dining option elsewhere. Customer service left much to be desired.

Absolutely will come here again. Greeted professionally. Staff are on point. Came from Birmingham, I swear the portion size was big no small steaks. Order the lamb, t-bone and a parmesan all the portions were enough to fill your stomach and the quality is there too. Meat was so tender. Put some big names to shame in my eyes. Quality! 5 stars!

I Ordered chicken peri peri, sauce was too much tangy same with the wings. Both items were dry and they don't accept cards as it is cash only.

Top class Restaurant. From start to finish was a nice evening. Even tho it was packed out. Managed to fit 4 in. Ordered the sirloin strips with chips. Had it at medium chilli strength. And Damn that Sauce is Hot. Wonder what the HOT HOT sauce strength is like. But have to admit that the quality on the meat and the rest of the food was absolutely spot on. Real tasty it was apart from the Hot sauce. Should order mild next time. Waiter kept checking up on us which was nice even tho the place was packed out. So definitely will be visiting again next time I am in Oldham. Keep up the great work guys.

Never had a bad meal here yet . The T bone steak is amazing , not much veg this time but also would recommend the nachos . Really tasty meal

We ordered pasta with no red sauce and they said there ganna do that. Then they bring the food with red sauce. My sister hated the chicken it was gross.

First time coming here won't be the last, amazing place, staff very friendly and nice, food was lovely, portion sizes are big and i mean big, prices are decentish, a little expensive on the steak side of things but i guess its how it is. Mocktails were very nice, did give us wrong mocktail but staff quickly corrected this so thank you for that, big menu selections, only thing i can think of improving is the toilets downstairs, they don't lock as the door is broken the allignment is off. The other thing is the toilets are also way too small, this is the only thing i think you need to improve and this place will be on top of the world, keep up the good work my uncles. We thought we would have a nice family meal out and we decided on BBQD for some nice food. Service was 10/10 and the food matched it. We ordered 2 T bone steaks and donner sizzlers and the food was absolutely delicous. Would come here again.

Very nice food and reasonable price. Best grill chicken so far. But chairs are bit lower than tables, sinking, hence little tight when dealing with food plates. Rest is ok.

This place wasn't bad but it wasn't the best either. I heard a lot about it, so I thought I'd give it a visit. When we got there, we were placed to sit near the window. The waiter forgot about us, so we had to get up and get a menu ourselves. Waiter eventually came, but the food took a while to arrive. When the food did arrive, it didn't taste as great as what I'd expected. It wasn't the worst place though. Just mediocre

Alhamdulliah, I loved the food at this great establishment. The service was quick and speedy and the food was amazing to say the least. I ordered the t bone steak and also the chicken steak. These steaks were seasoned perfectly and had a generous amount of succulent fat in them. The sides which came along with the steak was mouth watering. Not just your low- quality cheap ingredients but something else which was more high quality. The lamb chops were grilled and they were super crispy to perfection. The mocktails were super tasty as well. Will look forward to eating at this restaurants in the future.

Second time visiting this restaurant although we have also ordered takeaway too. It really just doesn't disappoint, the food is amazing, tasty, large portions, good quality and the staff really seem to care that you enjoy it. We can't fault the place and will be returning time after time. Make sure you go hungry!!

Ordered a takeaway from this place and it was brilliant, it was a "Swiss parmesan" (I'd recommend them adding much more "parmesan sauce" or what I'd expect is bechamel sauce? And try to as closely mimic a "Parmo" from Middlesbrough and they'll be onto a killer dish!!), Had a grilled chicken starter that was the most amazing chicken dish I've had I could have just ate 10 of those, was brilliant. The mash potato and veg feels kind of an afterthought and isn't really needed. Aside from that can't give it anything less than 5 stars.

I gave 4 stars due to still being hungry after my meal, food is very tasty though.

Amazing food and amazing service

Lamb steak was very thick in some places and thin on the other. Way too much cheese, was sickly and ruined the meal. Chicken sizzler wasn’t nice. I always go to gourmets in Oldham for lamb steak but thought I’d would try this place. Service was good but just a shame about the food. Would not recommend.

Delicious food at reasonable prices with excellent customer service. We had the swiss burger meal, half peri peri chicken with rice and chicken poppers. The burger was an authentic gourmet burger and hit the spot! Both chicken dishes were cooked well and were tasty. Thank you for the complimentary drinks for the children.

The jug drink is warm and has no fizz at all. The waiter offered Ice when ordering which we declined but failed to mention why he was offering it (The drink is served warm). The sizzlers - The chips are completely soggy mush, was told that's how it is. I've had sizzlers at Torros and Sizzling Palate, Chips are never soggy. More of a personal preference but Mash should be served on side, the Mash was served underneath the steak, horrible as your eating saucy steak mixed with Mash. In the end paid the bill, mentioned the above points about drink having no fizz and chips soggy, in return worker took money in silence and gave no response. He probably knew they're cutting corners in all aspects of the food and drink. He could have atleast took the jug off the bill being completely flat with no fizz.

As soon as I stepped into the shop, instantly I could tell that this eatery was top quality. The environment and the ambience of the restaurant was really good, felt at peace. Ordered a hotshot parmesan with onion rings and my friends ordered their food. The food was top notch, tasted amazing. We all agreed that it was very tasty food indeed and we would definitely recommend to others.

Was there yesterday...food has always been tasty but not been in awhile. I would like to say it's kept clean, design is looked after, friendly staff. Food was fresh, chicken streaks/peri chicken was juicy soft banging flavours.

Great service from the start, great tasting food and the staff made us feel very welcome. My son thought it was better than Nandos and it certainly was. It had a real family vibe in the early evening, and every table filled up whilst we were there. We had nachos for a starter which came on two plates which made our son happy as he had a starter to himself. We had a chicken platter for main and our son had a burger. We had mango lassi. It was all delicious.

I was disappointed, I went there by reading the reviews but the food didn't meet my expectations, it was spicy and chicken steak a little over cooked and covered in sauce. Also the strawberry drink was far too sweet. We had friends meet us for drinks but the customer service was cold they were told they needed the table as they weren't ordering food.
