Would highly recommend Zaraks, the steaks are amazing, high quality, prepared and served as your wood expect for a fine Dining experience. Friendly staff and a menu that will leave you spoilt for choice. 5 star all round.

Ordered dynamite prawns as a starter, chef specials for mains (slow cooked beef short rib & veal chop) Would recommend! Portion sizes are very generous too. Owner/chef is very friendly, coming out to tables personally to give advice. 10/10

Bad service just save your money and go somewhere else.

I come all the way from Birmingham from a recommendation the food lived up to the standard service was on top would highly recommend. Even gave cheeky chocolate to finish off. Scrumsush. 😋🤤. #desistyle

Amazing food and service. I only ever use to go Cona in Bradford for a perfectly cooked steak, Zaraks will now be my new go to. Cote de beouf and Lamb Rump and beef short rib were especially good!

Overall a good restaurant, but not the one you think I need to visit this place again, but give it a try. one thing they do not offer any sauces with steaks which make things a bit less delight, do not forget to order separately. Service is amazing, atmosphere good. Parking and entrance is a bit tricky

I'm still here as I write this because I'm absolutely amazed I've just shared the steak board and the food is absolutely stunning I would strongly recommend this to anybody who likes a good steak the waitress was really helpful and friendly and the atmosphere was excellent and really impressed with this place and will definitely be coming back and trying the other dishes.

Service was good staff were friendly. We ordered a family platter £39.99 the mash potatoes was dry am sure it was that power cheap one 🙄.

Hey guys wanted to give these guys a 5* all rounder review. I have been coming here with my partner for just over a year now and come quite a few times. Every single time we have enjoyed it and also come with family too (which everyone loved too). Food is banging cooked to perfection. I got the jumbo bumbo which I was amazing at how big the portion size was and tasted amazing. Had to take food home as couldn’t finish it all. Service was amazing as they got us everything we wanted every time we asked with a smile on their faces. Top notch food and top service.

Ordered their pizza and it’s looked and tasted disgusting. Had to be binned. Stick to grill food as it was one of the worst pizzas I ever tried in my life.

Service was top notch. The food choices were decent. I would recommend the loaded nachos to start with. I had the T-bone steak which was cooked as I liked it. The steak did however have a very strong 'peppery' seasoning which I didn't know beforehand, it wasn't offensive but it definitely had a kick. Maybe don't get a peppercorn sauce with the steaks as it was somewhat overpowering. Parking is a bit awkward but I'd definitely be back, it was a nice meal with friendly service.

One of the best steak places in Oldham. I never go away disappointed.. over the years, I've tried most things from their menu, but the Beef Short Rib is my favourite.. Nice range of starters, steaks and burgers for all the family.

Very nice place for a first time visit. Food was cooked perfectly and service was friendly and professional. Made sure our steak was cooked how we liked and advised us on the best method for cooking. Overall very satisfied.

The ponytail guy (main owner) and all his staff always welcome us and know our individual orders. Their company is brilliant and have always looked after me, my family and friends. Been coming here every single week and they have been the most consistent with their food from any restaurant iv been to. Couldn't recommend anything better 👌

Very poor experience. Food wasn't nice at all. Ordered burgers and they was poor. Only thing nice was the prawn dynamite. Everything else was a disappointment. I asked for jug water they said they only offer bottle water which you have to pay for. Ordered 1 bottle because I had no choice. When that ran out i asked for another one, she took the empty bottle and refilled it up and charged twice on the bill. To top the whole night off when the bill came the lady asked do you want to leave a tip which literally made me laugh, who on earth asks directly to your face if you wana leave a tip, no thank you! Don't waste your time and money here. Poor experience

Fantastic place, enjoyed the food in its entirety. Our server was a very polite and friendly gentleman from start to finish, asked us multiple times if we need anything, and I really liked the drink recommendation he gave. We ordered Sirloin steak with mushroom sauce, the Monster munch burger, and Tandoori skewer, Blue lagoon and Thyme Will Tell, and all 3 of us enjoyed our dishes, though I did realise halfway through the steak id have liked it even better rare and not medium rare but thats just me, did love how juicy it was! The portions were just the right size (bit much for me in fact, couldnt finish the whole thing in one go). The place wasnt too crowded and not at all noisy. Overall a great 1st time experience.

These guys are serious about steak. I love Zaraks and go here as often as I can. Met up with friends I hadn't seen in a while 💕 and the food was up to the occasion. Rib Eye and Ribs are amazing 👏 😋

Very disappointed the food was Luke warm & the wrap was dry and disgusting. The steak I’ll give 3 out of 10 fat not rendered properly I can go on but I’ll stop there. I used to come here a lot put it’s gone downhill. Very disappointing.

Portion size is very poor as highlighted in other reviews. For a two person platter, 3 lamb chops (size of a two pound coin), a thin steak (10 Oz supposedly), a basic burger and 1/9th of a corn cob, just one small quenelle of mash, one childs handful of chips and a tablespoon of veg. Just nowhere near enough food for two people as advertised. We left and ate elsewhere as we were not full. Chef was told and yet did not attempt any remediation. Also a £6 mocktail which was practically a smoothie (albeit pleasant tasting). Poor warped table and chips that came after the food. Poor parking/google directions (directs you to the main road) Edit: The owners seem incapable of taking critique and rather than taking each review seriously as a way to improve, they assume reviewers are in cohorts to damage their reputation. I wish the best for them, but without taking criticism seriously, it will be hard to keep customers. I certainly won't revisit.

The place doesn’t really look that bad aside from the fact that there is essentially nowhere to park your car unless you park it somewhere else and walk a bit, which is hard when it’s placed on a dual carriageway. Other than that I wasn’t too satisfied with the food as I was all but forced to order my steak medium or medium rare as opposed to my usual medium well. Some of the other things that slightly irritated me was the lack of AC, you would expect that if they are cooking the steaks right in front of you they would try and cool you down. The music was also irritating as they just kept playing afro beats, I don’t want to feel like I’m sat on a beach drinking coconut water, when I am actually sat in an overheated restaurant with an undercooked steak sat in-front of me. Overall, the place is overpriced and talked about way too much than it should be.

Decided to go here to eat as seen had some good positive reviews... Ordered a couple of Cote de beuf steaks and a Beef barrel (filet mignon) steak. All the steaks are served with vegetables and a choice of mash or chips. All sauces like peppercorn or mushroom, you have to pay extra for Cote de beuf steak tasted alright but for me it was all about the beef barrel steak, juicy, succulent and packed full of flavour. Definitely one of the best steaks I've ever tasted. 👌💯🔥🔥🔥

I love this place so much and I think it's by far the best steak lounge in Manchester and I've tried other places in London, Liverpool and even abroad as well because I am a huge steakaholic but this place is the best for me honestly. We came to Manchester for the weekend from Surrey and planned lots of food stops for our trip. Zaraks was not one of them, instead we found it locally when searching Google. And of all the places we had planned on our break, this was by far the best. In fact, it was the best meal we had in a long time. We booked late in the afternoon and didn't arrive until half 8ish. Unfortunately a couple of cuts of beef weren't available, but we fully put this down to the fact the ingredients are all fresh and it was full with people enjoying their meals. We both had ribeye steaks. My partner had chips, and I had mash with mine. We also had the spicey corn on the cobs. And wow!!!! The best steaks we have ever had. We have racked our brains and tried to remember if we have had better. But we haven't. It was so perfectly cooked and the steak was like butter. The flavour was just delicious too. I would drive the 6 hour journey again just to come and eat here. Also they have delicious mocktails! And the team who work there are all so friendly and helpful. Thanks so much for having us! It wasn't bad. Some food items are better than others. No parking, only space for a few cars.

If you love your steaks then this place is highly recommended. Steaks are cooked perfectly, juicy and delicious. Sides don't disappoint either (no frozen veg out of a supermarket bag here). It's not one of those places where you won't be able to tell what cut of meat you're eating. If you know your steaks you'll be able to clearly differentiate between the various cuts, which is a credit to the place. The owner is a chef himself and very knowledgeable about steaks. Was a pleasure chatting to him, very chilled out nice guy. Humble enough to discuss at length anything about the food and welcomes feedback. Atmosphere nice. Excellent service from the waiting staff. Highly recommend. Oh, if you like T****s, don't come here expecting the same. This a REAL steakhouse!

Went for my birthday with my partner and had a wonderful time! Starters we had the nachos and dynamite chicken, both where brilliant, I would definitely get the dynamite chicken again. For mains we both had the barrel steak with veg and mash and the steak was amazing, seasoned to perfection, ordered a peppercorn sauce but absolutely didn't need it! Wait staff where nice and friendly. Will be back

Food was nice , went for a meal today 18th of September for my daughters birthday, like I said food was nice steaks and burgers nicely made , got in got taken to a table sat down ordered 2 kids meals a wrap and a burger , they cancelled the burger thinking we just wanted the wrap a white girl came over my husband was telling her 1meal was missing when she "asked can I help you with anything else ", she looked at him like he was asking in a foreign language , and turned around and said to the girl that served us b4 no idea what that man's saying giving a look , then that got sorted .... On time of leaving we had food left over so my husband again went and asked for tubs they was giving a large 1, but we needed to small ones , again she came over gave him tubs and turned around and goes if he wanted two small one's why didn't he get the big one and just laughed like it was something funny , At this point I got annoyed on the way out she's the one who took the money which came to £77.00 at the till my husband stopped me otherwise I would of asked her what was so funny ... Apart from this 1 girl which put my mood right off , zaraks was a quite place for family meals .

By far the Best steak place in Greater Manchester. We ordered 2 beef Barrels and a full chicken. We were served by the owner who was a very nice person and guided us with what would be the best items for us to eat. The food was absolutely amazing and tasty, the steak was cooked exactly as asked and all the food came out at the perfect temperature. I will definitely be back!

The food was fine. Don't get a lot on your plate and it tasted fine. The service was very very slow. We waited at least 25 minutes before our order was taken and then another 30 minutes to get our order. The staff were unfriendly and hard to get a hold of. I wouldn't go back

Visited on 6th september with my partner. We had an amazing time. The place was beautifully decorated and the owner helped us park and suggested some food for us. He was also a good laugh. Food was delivered quickly by friendly servers. The steak is absolutely amazing. So much flavour. One of the BEST stakes I’ve ever had. And my boyfriend LOVED his burger. Cooked to perfection. Will be coming back again very soon!

Took the kids with me, and ordered 4 kids meals. The beef patty was spicy, which they never mentioned. It's for small children, and there is no alternative. As for the adults, food was nice, but no mention of spice level, and the chicken on the sharing platter was too spicy. Other than that it was nice.

The steaks here are good quality and delicious. The waitress and the manager were also very considerate about my daughter’s food allergies.

My favourite steakhouse, I am here at least twice a month Not only the steaks, my favourite dish is the lamb rump, if you like lamb, I would highly recommend trying this Side dishes and starters are also very good, the Thai chilli chicken and beef is unreal The service is always good, great owner and great staff 5* , highly recommend

Drinks were good. Service was top notch. However, let down by the food. Ordered dynamite for the starter. Very tasty. Recommended. Ordered a platter for 2 and cheese chicken. Menu needs re designing. Platter does not come with any side sauce. You have to order it separately. Just increase the price of the platter and add the sauce also if that's the case. Because I assumed it would come. Steak was OK. Nothing special. Lamb chops were BLAND and smelt awful. Avoif them. Chicken burger came without lettuce. And there was just a tiny bit sauce in the middle. Average taste. As for the cheese chicken melt. It was OK. Please don't add desi seasoning on it. It is not a desi dish. Apart from service and the starter nothing else recommended. Would not visit again

I went with my family for my sons graduation. The staff were very friendly , very responsive and the food was excellent and served within a very good time. Had a variety of steaks and all were cooked very well and tasty . The portion sizes were decent too and filling . Would recommend this restaurant.
