Zaraks Grill Lounge in Oldham

worst place I've ever ordered from, the pizza was so dry I don't think it even had tomato sauce on it, the thick chips were dry with loads of black bits from bruised potatoes, shawarma was like defrosted chicken rather than fresh, £30 completely wasted, delivery guy was friendly but the food was just awful & inedible.

the food is absolutely gorgeous

The burger was nice and noodles were average, something we could make at home. However we enjoyed the chips. The prices are quite high for the area.

Visited for the first time, amazing service, delicious food, both steaks were fantastic, perfectly cooked to our preferences. We went with our 3 year old son he was well catered for. Perfect place for a family meal out. Will definitely be going back.

Beautiful food will be coming again

I'm a bit disappointed because the steak was not it usual quality even the chips full of salt plus the vegetables tasted bad I add to put it in the bin. usually this restaurant is really good but once in while I get really bad meal and today was the day. I still say its the best steak in Oldham unless I keep getting meals like I got today.

The atmosphere was very nice we were able to get a sofa table where our group of 8 fit. Service is really good. All the workers are very nice and polite. The food is also very tasty, I had the Street Bun Burger and really enjoyed the flavor, the pulled beef was excellent!

Everything went smoothly. Customer service was highly friendly and accommodating, especially Emilia. Would highly recommend.

Very decent sized portions, food to die for especially the short rib, it fell off the bone and melted in your mouth. It was all delicious and service was very attentive. We will certainly return. Thank you Zaraks.

It was expensive for rather small meals. There's no alcohol that may deter customers.

Amazing first time trying and the food was delicious!

The food is good and the service is nice except the environment is a bit too bright & white for dining and the BGM is a bit too loud. Anyway, I spent a great time with my family there celebrating my brithday where we enjoyed the food as well as the lovely birthday cake the resturant prepared for me. Sure will visit again.

REAL REVIEW 2024 Place seems full of fake reviews Came with partner a few times now, this last two time chicken off and tasting bad, cold and 2x more expensive than average places. steak also expensive poor tasting no sides and full of fat now not like it used to be. I did ask waiter and he walked off. My partner spoke to waitress who looked busy chatting up and flirting with another waiter and just ignored us. Hard to park, last time all front was full of sport cars and did not look safe. I liked it years ago staff was also friendlier and more professional but now too much and service quality same as 15quid takeaways. Seems to have gone badly downhill now. Very disappointed Update: Not surprised to see this so called "owners" reply just proves my point -- bunch of argumentative kids who love to attack customers and get paid reviews. Just imagine what they're like dining there? Luckys, Toros, etc are 1000x better, safer and more professional. AVOID

Food was amazing top quality steaks are on point. But I tried something different. I had the stir fry noodles with extra kick and good choice aswell. We came with family and everyone was enjoying the food. Would go there again

It clearly says BUY ONE GET ONE FREE on pizzas. So I bought one. An I got ONE. What a set of con men you lot are, Specially with them price's you change for them. And it actually looks nothing what so ever like the pictures you have of them on your menu. It's more of a very thin tortilla wrap than a pizza crust. YOU ARE OUT OF ORDER. Amazing food and brilliant service!

Went with family and unfortunately was a forgettable experience. Had ordered sirloin steaks and was not cooked to our choice. We had them cook again but again the food was rare than what we asked. The steaks, lamb chops and chicken steak was very average, not tasty. After explaining to the chef he had not understand our frustrations and left us hungry and with a bad taste. Very disappointed and will not come again.

Amazing food with great service and atmosphere

Beautiful food and good service. I took my family here and reserved a table. We had a great family platter that was the best collection of grilled meat and chicken, served with eggs, a burger and fries. Not traditional food by any means but it had a good eastern twist and wasn't spiced to the hilt. Very tasty

Went on 26th July and can’t say enough good things about it. 4 of us and we had two of the family platters which were superb, go hungry if you’re sharing one of those among two of you though, they’re very substantial. Steak, chicken, lamb chop, hamburger, egg, corn, veg and plenty of it. The starters were very tasty as well and the waiters were excellent too, polite, helpful and unobtrusive. Was our first visit and it won’t be our last.

We've been here a few times and we visited again on Saturday with the family. The atmosphere was good, and the service was friendly. Food was brought out in a timely manner, everything was tasty and cooked exactly how we ordered it. Good portions and quality. We will be back

Amazing food, environment and service; consistent every time.

Food was lovely and well prepared, we had the sharing of the royal board with a side of garlic mushrooms sauce and the lamb chops were done just right as well as the steak. My only complaint is that theres no need to sell coca cola products and we should boycott as there are many alternatives everybody is willing to buy instead especially as a muslim/halal establishment.

This place is way over priced went for a steak, I thought we would get good service because there was only 2 of us there in the restaurant but 2 waiters couldn't even get the order right between them,(idiots) then when we told them that theyv got the order wrong the waitress came out and slam the chips on my table without an apology, im sure she was pakistani but couldn't get a name.never going to this place again.no wonder this place has 25 percent off cause its empty even on a Friday at 8 😅

Recommended by a friend, we went for my daughter’s birthday. The atmosphere was great and the staff were really amazing. So much so I offered to pay the service charge which was optional. Usually in places when you have so many children you are made to feel like a nuisance however Zaraks was an exceptional to that rule. They made the whole experience very pleasant. Will defo be going back x

The food at Zaraks was absolutely on point. The staff here were lovely in particular Malaika and Nimrah who went above and beyond.

Overall, it was delicious, but the steak seasoning was too heavy on Indian and Pakistani spices, and it was also too salty. But the meat quality is good and the CP value is high

well I usually don’t give a review unless it’s a bad one, as I’m never overwhelmed with any take away in Oldham but seriously this was next level…. The food was a little late but nothing major as I ordered from miles away I guessed it would be a little longer, but the young lad that dropped it off was very apologetic and even said if there was a problem with any of the food to call the shop !! This kid impressed me from the get go !! But the food was unreal ! Service amazing, solid 10/10

Very delicious food, great atmosphere, and amazing customer services. I was the competition winner for the Lamb leg giveaway on Instagram. I am really grateful for the amazing prize, the lamb leg was delicious , full of flavours and the staff has made us feel very welcomed, I will certainly be visiting again very soon.

The food was absolutely phenomenal but alongside this, Adam’s service blew us out of the water. We came to celebrate our 1 year anniversary and my partners 18 month sobriety and we felt so so welcome. The environment is perfect, the place is beautiful, food is stunning and the staff are out of this world and treat you like one of their own family members. I cannot fault this place and will most definitely be back!!

We have just returned home from our first visit to Zaraks Grill. I had the 24oz t bone and my wife had the 12oz sirloin. The meat was buitifull and tender and well seasoned. To say it melted in the mouth is an underestimation. Started with spicy corn on the cob and sticky toffee pudding with ice cream for desert. Mmmm . The staff were attentive to our needs polite and kept us informed regularly on the progress of our order. Which was 10 mins !!! I would highly recommend this place and will most definitely be returning in the not to distant future.

Went with the lads for a steak, everything was cooked and prepared fantastically well, and they did a perfect medium rare. Staff and chef checked in on us without intrusion like other places seem to do, which was well appreciated. We will be coming back again Inshaa Allah.

This place is by far 1 of my top 5 places for steak cooked and seasoned beautifully, very welcoming and friendly staff, gives a lot of Manchester’s steak places a good run for there money highly recommend 2nd time here ribeye and sirloin 5*

Ordered dynamite prawns as a starter, chef specials for mains (slow cooked beef short rib & veal chop) Would recommend! Portion sizes are very generous too. Owner/chef is very friendly, coming out to tables personally to give advice. 10/10

Overall a good restaurant, but not the one you think I need to visit this place again, but give it a try. one thing they do not offer any sauces with steaks which make things a bit less delight, do not forget to order separately. Service is amazing, atmosphere good. Parking and entrance is a bit tricky

I'm still here as I write this because I'm absolutely amazed I've just shared the steak board and the food is absolutely stunning I would strongly recommend this to anybody who likes a good steak the waitress was really helpful and friendly and the atmosphere was excellent and really impressed with this place and will definitely be coming back and trying the other dishes.

The steaks here are excellent. Cooked how you want it and fresh and hot when it arrives. Waitress was really helpful and professional the atmosphere was fantastic. This is my first visit here and I will definitely be coming back and trying the other dishes. I shared one of the steak platter boards with my son and it was absolutely stunning. I will highly recommend this restaurant for anybody who likes steaks and burgers, you most definitely get what you pay for. The street parking in the area was a bit busy but there's always a space somewhere and it's not going to stop me coming back.
