The best restaurants serving American food in England

Great pub and staff. Good selection of high quality food. Good choice of drinks. Very dig friendly Friday afternoons/evenings gets very noisy with local workers pouring in and too noisy with lots if swearing and overly loud voices which made us leave earlier than liked.

I quite like the Dead Pigeon, so wanted to give this second venue from the same team a go - the venue used to be Barclays Bank, opposite the Cricketers pub in Rainham. Inside, I think I was expecting something a bit more quaint and pub-like, but the ambience was very much more like office space, all of which had been painted black and then had tables and a bar added - I suppose it did use to be a bank, so this makes sense, but was a surprise. There are lots of large screens in here showing sport. Good atmosphere overall. It works. The bar offers a good choice of beers - had a Hacker-Pschorr, which I haven’t had anywhere since I drank it in Bristol in 2019 (aboard Spyglass) - a decent choice. The food is the star of the show here - big burgers, loaded fries, onion rings, chicken tenders and the like. Very instagramable and extremely scrannable. We ordered a sharing platter - two lots of tenders, onion rings and loaded fries. This was loads of food, all of it gorgeous - one lot of tenders was garlic and the other buffalo. Decent chips as well and gorgeous onion rings. I love onion rings. Big and fluffy, but not too fluffy. Just right. The tenders were big, juicy and moist. I think next time I go I’ll try plain tenders and have a couple of the hot dips - the gravy and hot naga cheese were absolutely superb, but they didn’t go that well with buffalo.. 😃 The burgers here look good - they do a tray where you have tenders, burgers, chips etc, but I think that’s too much for me. I’ll come back and try and burger though. Overall, good place for a meal - definitely recommended and worthy. You won’t get a better burger or tenders in Rainham, that’s for certain.

An exceptional evening with friends that had flown in from Florida that day, the food was cooked to perfection, I had the Miso Cod which was fantastic, the service was impeccable, such a relaxing and enjoyable evening.

We celebrated our wedding anniversary with our first meal together in the 'new' Starr Inn. (We had been to previous incarnations of The Starr, in times gone by.) The meal, service and friendly attention from the maître d' and senior staff was faultless. The food was delicious. (I can highly recommend the ribeye!) All in all, with background live music, it was an evening fit for a celebration.

Venus boire un coup le soir du nouvel an, bien reçus, servis rapidement et pas excessif au niveau des prix (1 whisky, 1 bailey’s double, 1 jus de fruit, le tout pour 16£).

Visiting on a Thursday evening was excellent, guitars and singers of the locals provided a lovely vibe and highly encourage supporting these locals as they perform for you.

Did not eat but menu looks good. Great Guinness 😀Lots of upcoming events 😀

Good quality food. Yates good. Place is clean which makes a massive difference to me. Although I haven't been in a while I think I should visit some time soon

Comida fría no es genial Mi hamburguesa era al menos comestible caliente. Mis muchachos amigos tenía frío y cuando se quejó no se creía como “cocinado de fresco” después de hablar con el gerente accedió a hacer uno nuevo. ¡Cuando llegó el nuevo estaba congelado en el medio! De nuevo se negaron a creerme hasta que insistí en que un dedo estaba metido en el medio... Luego me creyeron y me ofrecieron más hamburguesas. Me negué y siento que este es mi único recurso.

The food was above excellent! Lamiha was out server and she was brilliant on the recommend and explainstion of the different foods I've never tried before. She was very knowledgeable on what was good for desserts as well. I left very full and completely satisfied with my visit to the restaurant! Thank you so much for a memorable meal in London!

Wow! Este lugar fue recomendado por un amigo, así que fuimos después del teatro una noche. La hamburguesa de pollo fue la mejor (no es broma) que hemos tenido en cualquier lugar. Era tan fresco y lleno de sabores. No se sentó en un banco afuera a comer durante años, sino que tuvo que parar y sumergirse en este. Recomendaría encarecidamente pasar por si estás cerca.

New Management have completely turned this pub around, warm friendly and chatty staff. A lovely little new music venue that actually caters to young and old. They even offer vegan cocktails!!!! Was told by one of the new managers that live music is part of the new image now so will be back for their open mic for sure and their nachos topped off my night.

Habíamos estado para el asado del domingo antes y nos encantó. Gran lugar, buenos asientos al aire libre también y buena gama de cervezas y vinos. La camarera era excelente. Incluso nos aconsejó sobre el vino rosa más seco cuando elegimos uno más dulce como ambos 13%. El asado era bueno y el único problema era que mi esposa encontró algo en su verdura. Manager, Justine, era excelente y no podría ser más disculpado y no nos cobró y nos dio un par de vasos de burbujas. Pocos errores suceden y la señal de un buen lugar es cómo se maneja, así que volveremos seguro.

He estado visitando durante algunos años y siempre lo he disfrutado mucho, ¡la tostada francesa solía ser un regalo de fin de semana! Sin embargo, recientemente ha perdido su ambiente hogareño y, en cambio, se siente como un café que intenta ser un bar, no el ambiente más agradable, las bebidas estaban bien. . . ¡nada especial! Desafortunadamente, queríamos comida, pero la cocina estaba cerrada, sin embargo, nos ofrecieron una selección de pasteles. En general, no fue una gran experiencia, solía ser muy hogareña y familiar, sin embargo, ahora se sentía como una combinación sin carácter o atmósfera real.

Visited Mr Cooks 2 evenings running and dinner was fantastic on both occasions. Tasty, freshly cooked and good portion sizes . Particularly enjoyed salmon and see bass meals , curry was also delicious. All in all great experience, good service and pretty good value for money . Restaurant is also dog friendly
