Is such an amazing food, I travel a lot to get my chicken special😍 from MK to Bath, almost 4 hrs driving but is so worth it. is so so so good, super recommended

I went for the Blue cheeseburger and my god it was sensational. Definitely an expensive burger but I have no regrets. Go here!

The burgers were delicious, chicken tenders were juicy and the fries were crispy. We were also impressed how generous they are with their dip portions! If you find yourself in Bath, do yourself a favour and make sure to pop into this take away spot.

In town to watch the Celtic in the pub, Celebrated the victory with a nice Blue Cheese Burger. Always worth it.

Forget pathetic McDonald's. This is a proper, solid burger. Good ingredients, quickly served. Perfect for an after theatre top up after an early pre theatre light meal.

Couldn’t believe how wet my burger was. The meat was cheap and tasteless. Only managed to eat two mouthfuls. Can’t believe I wasted insulin on this! Veggie burger was okay.

Slight disappointment. Burger was good, beats Macdonalds and chippy van burgers etc, but it wasn't anything special. Had a 10 quid blue cheese burger, that was nice but not especially blue cheesy nor mind blowing.

Used to love this place back in the day but goodness me how times have changed. It’s bad enough that they’re charging over £10 for a single burger with an extra £3.85 for chips / wedges on top! But to make matters worse, it was torrential rain outside and they wouldn’t even let us eat our burgers inside. Imagine paying ALL that money to literally be banished to the outdoor elements where our burgers literally got cold and sodden. Very rude customer service indeed and maybe a little discretion needed. Will not be returning EVER again and my great memories of what used to be a nice establishment back in the 90’s has been ruined.

My cheeseburger was pretty nice, but I thought that the price of £10 was just too high. I think I will go elsewhere next time.

Terrible. Despite being quiet they took 29 minutes to put my burger on the grill. Offered a refund in a childish, hard done by way. Really poor. If you are going to charge £15 for a burger and chips at least recruit and train staff properly.

Always visit here when we come to Bath. Love their burgers and onion rings and the range of dips they offer. The burgers feel semi-healthy as we never feel sluggish after eating them compared to other burger places. Would definitely recommend!

On a hugely busy Saturday of the Bath Xmas markets we couldn't get in anywhere for a sit down meal so we ended up at my favourite hamburger joint and ate al fresco.As usual I wasn't disappointed except I didn't realise that for an extra £1 I could have made my garlic mayo burger a double!Never had a bad one here and I shall continue to visit on my frequent trips to Bath. Just wish I lived locally again. Is it expensive? Too right it is. But worth every penny.

Hands down the best burger I have ever had, and onion rings. Had been eyeing the place up for a couple days for a long weekend in Bath and one night instead of choosing a lovely restaurant to eat it we had planned to have these burgers. Was not disappointed. I think I will be craving this burger until I return to bath in about 12 months :)

Have been going here for years, recently taking my son along to try it with him. Still as good as it used to be, with a great range of burgers and toppings. I had the Road House Chilli Vegeburger which was crunchy and spicy. He had a beefburger topped with bacon, which rapidly disappeared. We all enjoyed what we had, and will go again.

Been eating these burgers for over 25 years on occasion. They are quite nice burgers but the whole meal is overpriced for what it is.When you add the price of a burger, chips and milkshake its too much for a takeaway.For example is literally £30 for the above with some dips! I would rather go to Mcdonalds for half the price.Having said that its open late and tasty when hungry.

Have dived in here quite often over the years, it's probably the only take-away I've ever used the City Ctre of Bath; their jumbo spring rolls are just superb !

We have been going to Schwartz Bros for 40 years and the quality has been maintained throughout. Not many eating places can maintain quality standards for one year ! Our favourites are Blue cheeseburger, or Mayo garlic burger plus a strawberry cold shake.Small tables outside to dine in style. Don't say they are expensive as the quality is superb - congratulation Schwartz Bros !!

This place was queued out with people so as we were passing and wanted a quick bite we decided to join the queue. In my opinion it was nothing special considering the price. I think their location probably ups the price.

Bought two Big Al burgers from here, which came with cheese, bacon and lettuce leaves. The burgers are chargrilled over charcoal, and were cooked to perfection. They were succulent and delicious. The fries were tasty too. Really enjoyed our food and recommend Schwartz brothers

Had read good and average reviews so thought we’d give it a try . Service was fine and the place seemed clean etc . The costs were on the higher end for a takeaway , £20 for 2 burgers and 1 fries . So the important bit the food . Mine was ok but not exceptional my wife had the veggie burger and didn’t like it . The fries were the same as macdonalds fries just £2.50 not £1.00 . So overview , if your in the centre on a drinking night out and merry and hungry you’ll be fine , but realistically it’s overpriced for what it is .

Whilst visiting Bath we kept passing Schwartz Bros and finally on our last day we popped in! Tasty burgers all around and really lovely guys manning the kitchen 3 burgers, chips and drink for £25 👍

I came here because of the reviews. Those who really rave about this place, really haven't sampled good gourmet burgers. I paid £9.25 for a double chorizo burger and I wasn't blown away. For one thing, you get a cheap burger bun (unlike a good quality brioche burger that most gourmet burger joints offer - it really does make a difference!) and, another - I watched the guys make this. By pressing the beef patty hard with a spatula there was no way of getting a truly juicy burger. Also, as they are a 'fast food' joint - just letting the patty rest rather than shoving it immediately into a paper bag would have made another difference. For £9.25 I was expecting much, much more - if you are in the area, go to a any decent place in Bristol (BTW, I've no allegiance/connection to either Bath or Bristol), but you'll soon see what I mean. the apologetic bit of lettuce, supermarket chorizo slices, raw red onion and really damp strip of gherkin didn't make this any more appetising. Avoid!

Has been and remains to be the best burgers in Bath, never had a bad experience here. Always polite staff, great burgers and no pretentious fuss as I’ve found in many other burger places in Bath.

While there are now a number of so-called 'gourmet' burger joints in Bath, this take-away still supplies the best burgers at a reasonable price in the city. With a great range, including a veggie burger, if you're that way inclined, I always go for the chilli burger, which can't be beaten. You can choose from a range of sizes and styles with or without chips and they also offer a meal deal with chips and a drink. Cooked to order, the burgers are always fresh and great tasting.

Won't find a better burger in Bath. Schwartz and Al falafel are part of baths culture, don't be out off by the slightly high prices for a take out burger, its very worth it. The fries are fire.

Always good to have a garlic mayo burger and fries. Have been visiting since the 80's. It seems that either my taste buds have deteriorated or perhaps the food police have reduced the salt and fat content as the garlic mayo didn't seem to quite have that star quality. I will be back again some day though :)

I went to try this place out on a whim as I’d heard good things, but I ended up spending £7 and waiting 10 minutes for what I can only describe as a slab of bland meat between two store bought buns with a smattering of salad. Something you would expect at a family BBQ for about £2 at best. It was flavourless and depressing and for £7 made me even more depressed.

Like many of the reviewers I have been eating in here since the dawn of time and miss the place since moving away.

The Schwartz in Saw Close still has the excellent hamburgers as the rather better outlet in Walcot Street. However, the place itself is awful. There is deafeningly loud "music" playing, so you can't chat with your mates during the impossibly long queue to place your order, and the interminable wait for it to be prepared. It seems to be acceptable for the hipsters shouting at everyone about how cool the place is and how they used to come here back in the day blah blah blah, but it just makes for an unpleasant half hour or so. The staff treat customers as if they are an annoyance, and the fact that there's 30 people queuing isnot enough to make them stop pratting about.

I’ve been recommended this place by friends before and only now have I actually tried it. Literally so many options for vegetarians and vegan options too!!

Quick pit stop after a day of shopping. I'm a fan of Five guys but without one i had to seek an altrnativer and Schwartz didn't disappoint. Vast menu, quick service and burgers at its best! Will definitely be back.

Ambos eran absolutamente deliciosos. Me encantó la mayonesa. Las patatas fritas también estaban muy bien.

Takeaway burgers at eat in prices. £18+ for 2 burgers and fries. Price was my only gripe. Really enjoyed a mayo burger and fries, one of the juciest burgers I've had. Will use again when I've saved up.

I hadn't eaten a Schwartz Bros burger for 20 years until I popped in this week when I found myself in Bath. Back in the day Schwartz Bros was really on its game delivering a top notch burger at a reasonable price.Perhaps I was being overly nostalgic but what a crushing disappointment. Bog standard frozen burgers in a stale bun with some limp lettuce and tasteless tomato. Served up by a bored and disinterested member of staff. The premises are grimy and could do with a good steam clean.I know Bath students rave about this place. They must have really low standards. And also very deep pockets as a simple burger and fries will set you back nine quid!

Had not heard of this place until last night but gather it's an institution. I had the garlic mayo burger and it was delicious. The burger was really meaty and well seasoned and the bun was nice. It is quite pricey but worth it. Only negative was the grumpy staff.

I've eaten here for 15+ years and always found it delicious, the only burger take out i'd use in Bath. It's not cheap, you could expect to pay over a fiver for a basic burger and a few quid for a (not very big ) portion of fries. But quality comes at a price and that's ok, if it delivers on taste. On my last visit i ordered the blue cheese burger. One of the best places about Schwartz has always been their blue cheese sauce. The young lad serving didn't think to tell me that they were using some sort of cheese spread-philidelphia or something-in place of the usual sauce, so by the time id got back to my car and tucked into my burger it was dryer than the sahara. Such shame, if he had told me they were using a substitute I've have had the garlic mayo instead. The bun was burnt too and the burger dry and over done. It's really slipped.

A Bath institution. Even after a meal and a night out I have be known to stop by a grab a cheeky Road House Chilli.The one in Walcott Street has the temerity to close around 10.30pm on a weekday - but the one by the theatre is open later. Me and a friend even had to run there once - such is the draw.

By far the best takeaway burger you will ever eat! I always go when in town. Wish they had more shops. It's not the cheapest but it's worth the extra money.

Years ago this was the best place in Bath for a decent burger but now some 15 years on it hasn't changed much, but now food has moved on and there are better places you can get street food and great burgers though they might not do take aways i would rather go there. If you want a proper burger with a decent taste and actual meat in it cooked with fresh ingredients in a monster toasted bun then come here- £6.75 for a single burger may sound a lot but worth every penny...only issues with both Bath stores is the parking to wait whilst your burger is made, basically there is none and there are hundreds of over eager parking attendants so be careful!

A choice of 7 veggie burgers! Fast service but my veggie burger was a burnt to a crisp on the edges and not very enjoyable. It was pricey too. There wasn't much salad in the bun either. I was a little disappointed :( but it was still edible and I would give it another go.
