Smashburger Bath in Bath and North East Somerset

We were staying nearby and decided to try this place as the reviews looked good. However we did not really enjoy the food! Ordering was easy using the touch screens, and the food came to the table in a good amount of time. However, the burger itself was not that good. The meat was smashed beyond recognition and was all falling apart. You couldn't pick up the burger to take a bit without more pieces of beef falling out the side. I've had many smashed burgers before, and normally the thin outside edges are all crispy and tasty, however the edges of this burger were just dry and tasteless. Overall not very pleasant to eat. My wife paid extra for bacon in her burger and got 2 tiny pieces of bacon which was very fatty. We got a portion of tater tots as the side and decided to upgrade to the larger portion as there was 2 of us sharing. Considering we paid £6 instead of £4.50 for a large portion there really wasn't that many given to us. I love my burgers, but I am sorry I cannot recommend this place. For what you get it was very expensive (more expensive than similar burger places for worse quality food) and we left disappointed.

I can only give you 1 star for the food tonight. As the tots were under cooked the burger patty was far too big for the bun, very dry and burnt. This meal wasn’t worth £17.10 ( just the food price). Also £1 for a tiny pot of truffle mayo is a “rip off”. Even though it came on time the food was barely warm, which makes no sense to me. For a burger and tots over £17 is far too expensive. The awful quality means this meal is a COMPLETE “RIP OFF” and NOT worth the money at all!!!

Thank you Smash Burger. I’m coeliac so ordered a gluten free bun burger with dries and a drink. The lady at the cashier reassured me that the fries were fried separately, gloves were used for my order and it was all prepared separate. She was really sweet. The food also tasted delicious!

We ordered at 5.50 and the food arrived at 7.45 stone cold. We’re just heating it up in the oven! For £57 this is completely unacceptable.

The burger is normal for such an establishment, friendly staff. At my request to give a fork and a knife, they were a little surprised, but they gave it, plenty of napkins. Definitely recommend

The food is amazing everytime. I love the Truffle Oklahoma burger a lot. The staff is very friendly and enthusiastic. Aditya, one of the staff has always been very cheerful at serving and helping me choose what to eat.

So something isn’t adding up for me. I phoned the restaurant as the app had been saying that the driver was at the restaurant for at least 15 minutes (if not longer). I was told that the order had already been collected “ ages ago”. Yet when it arrived it was boiling hot. Which leads me to think that the woman who I spoke to didn’t tell me the truth. I’m pretty sure that my order had just been cooked or had been cooked very recently when the delivery person arrived to collect it.

Sam who served us was so kind and helpful, he looked after my son when he asked for water, taking the time to show him how to use the machine and was very smiley and helpful. The burgers are amazing. I thoroughly recommend Smash Burger Bath

Order to food arrival was over 40 mins and to see me handed chips which had been sat there for 20 mins and they were cold I had to take back for a replacement. Other customers using the restaurant to eat their takeaways from McDonald’s and Burger King seems crazy you allow it… can’t think I will be visiting again soon especially when feeding 5 people spending around £90. Disappointed
