Home delivery from Southgate bath burger completely dried out no flavour at all but this is pretty much standard for this branch had one about eight months ago was exactly the same terrible food from this branch don't use it

paid like £23 for a burger and u can’t even use the toilets coz theyre all locked. and then when i went upstairs the taps wernt working. well done guys. poor safety standard and illegal for restaurant to not have available taps for customers. do not recommend.

I had a discount code that was advertised to work until a certain date, when I got there I was informed that it only worked on that date, nothing was done to fix this.

So lets start with the burger, the patty was very over cooked and the bottom bun was soggy. The tots did not arrive hot enough. £16.35 is way too expensive for a substandard burger and tots. Also £1.45 for 1 slice of blue cheese is over priced & £1 extra for a tiny pot of truffle mayo is a rip off! On the other hand, the lady who deliver my order was fantastic! She was friendly, kind and lovely to chat with. I’m so glad I tipper her!

Unbelievably poor experience. Was in Bath for a weekend so despite being next door to a Burger King and opposite McDonald's where you can get a meal for less than the cost of a burger from this place, we thought we'd treat ourselves. A simple order - 2 burgers, large fries, 2 shakes. I was first handed my takeaway bag with half the order - missing a shake and the fries. This was then rushed and shoved in the bag. Got back to the hotel to discover the burger with added bacon despite showing "bacon" on the wrapper and paying extra for it as an added topping had none whatsoever. The fries were also plain and not smash as ordered/paid for. Called to tell them the order was wrong and I'd be going back for what I ordered. Was told it would be ready by the time I arrived, and they would throw in some churros as an apology. Nope. They forgot to send it to the kitchen. Another 15 minute wait, I finally got the burger. Opened it to the smallest piece of bacon you've seen. About half the size of my little finger. Should've taken a photo but was too annoyed. Asked the manager if he was taking the mick. He started yelling at the kitchen staff making a seen. Really unprofessional and poorly run. He then apologised to me saying they were busy...the place was empty! Oh, and apparently they had run out of churros so he gave me extra fries I didn't want which was clearly him clearing out the leftovers as it was after closing time by this point. Considering what they charge, the service was very poor, and after being messed around it wasn't even that great. Burgers were very salty, and my food had gotten cold whilst trying to get the mistakes corrected. In hindsight I should've got a full refund and spent half the money on the correct order elsewhere. I'd hope this was all a one off but I definitely wouldn't recommend.

It’s a pity the driver had no idea how to read a map and follow instructions. My order was eventually delivered but I was delivered freezing cold ! Please make sure the delivery person knows where they are delivering to before you give them the order. Because it’s a waste of money if it comes cold!!!! The delivery guy was also very rude!!!!

All I can say is you get what you pay for! As soon as I pay for Just Eat+ my meal comes 12 minutes early, lovely and hot and with nothing missing! 🙌🏻😀

the courier told me he went to the wrong address. He went to Redland Park in Twerton. Food was cold.

Popped in for a milkshake as I always do when in Bath but was disappointed this time. I believe they used to be made with Haagen Dazs ice cream but not sure that’s the case anymore. Definitely didn’t taste as good as they used to and the price was astronomical!

Pedimos la comida y cuando Coco la trajo, la niña de 9 años decidió que no tenía mayonesa ni lechuga. Simplemente estaba encantado con ella, llevándole una bandeja de lechuga, así como el mayo. -Muchas gracias. Ambos siguen hablando de ti 2 horas después de la comida. ¡Bien hecho! Order submitted in mid afternoon....was an hour overdue requested time. Must be the season overload.

Do not bother. Waited 30 minutes to receive a cold burger, cold onion rings and cold fries. Service was as minimal with no organisation. Server who thought food to table had an unpleasant overpowering body odour. Will not revisit.

Quick service. Excellent salad - filling and tasty! Child's portion was also a good size. Burger was good and fries well seasoned.

Some of the food was unacceptable

Quality has gone down and prices have gone up. After regularly visiting Smash Burger in Bath, yesterday 29 November will be the last. Milkshakes are now served in a plastic cup and are no longer the thick delicious ones they used to be. The burgers were horrible, dry and didn’t look appetising at all. Mine was salty. The shop was a quarter full, yet it had dirty tables and the toilets were closed. After 5 years of visiting, we will be going elsewhere from now.

Terrible service. They took my order at 9:23 and specifically waited until 10:00 pm to cancel my order instead of updating their system online………if your not prepared to fulfil people’s orders then you should provide a cut off point instead of waiting till the last minute to cancel. Very unprofessional and inconsiderate to their customers

I had the Hot Honey smashburger and chicken pieces delivered from the Bath store. I've wanted to try this range for a while. And while it's not going to ever be healthy, wow is it delicious! The whole burger just a fabulous combo, I loved the cooked onions. I will definitely order again soon as I fear this is limited edition

Best burger I’ve ever had. Came Saturday lunchtime and still managed to get a table. It’s the first time in a very long time I’ve been able to order something similar to my family. Having coeliac disease, I have to plan where to eat. The truffle mayo burger was amazing and I’ve been craving it since. Staff were lovely and yes it’s expensive for what looks like a ‘burger joint’ but about the same as you’d pay in a decent gastro pub. And these far exceeded our expectations. Can’t wait to come back. The GF bun was actually delicious, which again is not my usual experience!

The double burger with bacon 🥓 was huge and delicious 😋. I love the coke machine, so many flavors diet coke with lime is my fav.

Sadly what promised to be an enjoyable meal turned out to be stone cold by the time it arrived. The burger was also dry and overcooked and the lettuce had turned to mush. Extremely disappointing :(

Ordered hot honey alabama and the truffle 1 but both were totally bland. Never had the burgers taste so bland tbf, super weird tbh. Tater tots won my hearth, as they were super fresh and tasty. Not worth the price in my opinion.

Ordered the loaded bacon cheeseburger side and there was SO much ketchup and mayo it was inedible. Complete waste of money sadly. My partner had the burger and enjoyed it.

Came here on valentines after a failed attempt elsewhere, it was far better than all of the other 'fancy' restaurants we tried, super clean, great food, and amazing customer service, we cannot wait to visit again!

I had a free voucher for a classic house burger, but i was not told that it is between 2-5pm so I was heavily let down on my first attempt to claim it. On the 2nd try, we were not allowed to wait inside. Also, I was not allowed to customise my burger (I can't eat cheese) which I think if unfair to people with intolerances. So I left hungry. I give 2 stars because I cannot judge the taste of the food so it might be nice.

Total rip off Lure you in with discount vouchers then refuse to honour them on spurious rules not stated on voucher. Shonky practices which trading standards should look into. Went to 5 guys who honour their vouchers and are much nicer.

Food is delicious. Junaid service was great. Only complain was the chicken tenders wasn’t serve hot.

Today I had dinner at Smash Burger with my family and we had a great experience. Cristiane was very nice and friendly. She made very good suggestions of new things to try in the menu. We really enjoyed it. The service is very good and we enjoy the gluten and vegan options available as my wife has dietary restrictions. I definitely recommend it.

I had dinner today at Smash Burger and we had a great experience. It was very nice to find a Brazilian person to help us. Cristiane was very nice and helpful. We followed her recommendations and tried new things that were very tasty. I enjoy going to Smash Burger and having their cheeseburger with fries. I can’t have gluten and dairy and I find their burgers one of the best I tried. Their vegan milkshake is also very tasty. In addition to that, the service is very good!

Burger definitely better than McDonald's or Burger King Points deducted for worn, broken seats and upon request: no toilet You can wash your hands at the service counter Conclusion: you go there for a Smashburger 😃😉

Excellent burger and even better fries. Double the price of the McDonald's and Burger King on the same street, but more than double the quality. Will be back.

Definitely some of the better burgers you can get around in the city. They also do delivery and prices are overall more affordable than other places that raised their prices more steeply. Would recommend.

we had a delivery, the taste was very good and so was the packaging. onions rings were huge in size, sweet potatoes were fresh, sandwiches were as ordered.

Smashburger offers average burgers at high prices. The burgers are oily, and the Smash Seasoning on the fries leaves a strange aftertaste. While the experience was okay, it's not something l'd go back for.

The best burger and sweet potato fries I have ever had. Go there. Your taste buds will thank you.

Never heard of this chain before, but definitely will be back. System to order was easy to use, and I was able to order exactly what I wanted in my burger. Service was fast and friendly. Food was delicious. Recommend the smash fries with the garlic and olive oil if you want something a little different but the standard fries are also top tier. I don't know what atmosphere there should be but when we went was relatively quiet

Como opinión personal, después de unos 3 años sin dejar ningún comentario para la Smash Burger, me gustaría decir que esta tienda hace algunas de las mejores hamburguesas de lejos en la ciudad. Cocinada a la perfección, la ensalada siempre es fresca y crujiente, y las papas fritas Smash son absolutamente increíbles y también me gustaría mencionar que sus productos están en los mismos estándares desde que abrieron, ya que nunca he encontrado una falta de calidad en los últimos años cuando comí aquí en múltiples ocasiones. El personal siempre es rápido y servicial. ¡Sigan con el buen trabajo y gracias!

Staff was great and the food is good

Just came here for dinner as my partner and I were curious about the restaurant every time we visit Bath. The burgers are a bit pricey, but 100% worthy as it's part of the menu (Proper big beef burger, drink and big portion of fries), and the milkshakes are amazing. Food was served quick with the restaurant full. Will come back deffo.

The chicken burger was delicious. A bit of a Shake&Shack feel. The chicken was crispy, I loved it!! The choice of accompaniments is varied and this is clearly a positive point. I am removing one star for the price which is in my humble opinion excessive. I paid almost £18 for 1 burger + sweet potato fries + a coke....

Would've been much cooler if this had people serve you dressed as smash bros characters, I wanna be served a burger by King DeDeDe whilst I can see Ike working the fryers and Samus cleaning the tables.
