Fantastic atmosphere, great people and energy

We arrived at 1145 for our 1200hrs cocktail making masterclass for my sister’s hen do on Saturday 12th October. On arrival, the doors were closed as they don’t open until 1200hrs. I tried to get the attention of the lady (who I know now is Paris) and we were ignored and had to wait with 23 of us on a narrow pavement and there was a blind man walking past who we had to make room for. Once inside, there was no greeting from Paris and we were shown upstairs by another member of staff. The cocktail masterclass was great. Jayden and Viddan were great fun! We all got involved and they led us all well. We then had food downstairs which was served to us quickly initially but some had finished theirs before other people’s food arrived. Everyone else seemed happy with the food itself though. My sister was singing at the table and Paris was staring and giving funny looks to the table which my sister found off putting. After the food, I approached Paris and she expressed to me that she was struggling to ‘fit us in’.. I explained I’d booked this months ago and she stated that she was ‘packed’ and we’d have to leave at half 3 (it was 1510 at this point) and there was 23 of us and we’d have struggled to get in anywhere else. Paris explained we had 2 hours after our cocktail making and I stated we had finished the class at 2 so we should have until at least 4. Paris explained the cocktail making had gone over but I explained this wasn’t our fault. Paris then walked away from me at the bar whilst I was speaking and I could see other people in the bar staring. I found Paris to be exceedingly rude and she really brought down the mood of what should have been a fun day for my sister. Bar manager Sam then stepped between us and asked me to speak to him instead. Sam was calm and helpful and did manage to let us stay until 4 but we weren’t happy to continue giving revolution the money and we instead went to slug and lettuce. Considering there was 23 of us, we would have spent a considerable amount of money on drinks but due to Paris’ attitude, we left. My sister was disappointed and we all felt it left a bad taste in our mouth. I really don’t think hospitality is for individuals like Paris who clearly don’t like people. It’s a cocktail bar with cocktail making masterclasses so you need to expect people, especially with 23 women, are wanting to have a nice time and we would have happily stayed there. I would like to emphasise that the other members of staff mentioned were really helpful but Paris has let the experience down.

Didn’t quite go as expected but the way this was managed was impeccable for customer service. Great food and drinks.

Very dissatisfied with both the alternative afternoon tea.as I don’t have cheese, and was going feted an alternative of the caulifI power dish, which was so over baked it was inedible, they had no tater tots so we were given fried, again over baked to the point of being more like crisps, there were no mac n cheese bites for My daughter er in law. Puddings were great, I can only assume they were made elsewhere. My subsequent email was responded to almost instantly and one week on no further communication from the General Manager despite my three attempts to contact him. So ch a shame as the staff. We should have complained at the time rather than post even. I wish we had saved our voucher to use elsewhere! £36 wasted.

We had just escaped some horrid service at another bar (The Chequers) and fell in to Revolution in hope to rest from long walks and quench our anger from the disbelief that people in the service industry could be so bad!!! And what total surprise and slap in the face of fabulousness were we met with?? Paris, Kyle and Emily!!!! Utter stars who needs hugs and praise and a pay rise for sure. Lovely warm welcome from Paris who immediately assured us that she could find space and make all 9 of us comfortable. Kyle who charmingly announced free shots for our arrival and to prove that hospitality was indeed alive and thriving in Bath. And Emily who speedily took our orders in swift and fine fashion and put smiles on our faces pronto. Another super fine touch was after we had sipped a finger full of cocktails and prosecco, nachos were delivered to our table complimentary due to us missing the food service time and being caught in the sudden downpour of rain outside. 'Above and beyond' or 'going the extra mile' doesn't quite cut it, you really made our day and did even more of that. Keep up this superb work of bringing passion and joy to people 💓🥂

We had a great night trying the new interactive cocktails and Cat who served us was amazing! Really nice vibe and fun atmosphere.

Affordable family eatery. Pizza was salty for my palette but I can’t complain for the price I paid The mean reason why I chose to eat here is they serve half portion pizza. I was craving pizza but didn’t want a the full portion The service was good I didn’t like the atmosphere due to disco-like lighting. It shows in the “pinkish” photo

We were staying at the Travelodge next door to the venue and we went for a walk around the town. We thought it would be nice to round off our first night with a quick drink before turning in for bed. The venue was quiet, two patrons and two members of staff. We were greeted by one member of the team with a smile, who held the door open for us. The other member of staff looked less than impressed that we’d come in. He decided to open with “Children have to be out by 8pm, so you’ve got 40 minutes” To be fair, we’re used to this, having a 12 & 10 year old and completely understand why this is a requirement. The issue I have is the attitude with which it was said. Your venue is empty, save for two others and you don’t want our custom or our money? Ordering drinks at the bar was a joyless experience, one colleague was courteous and the other pointed out that they “don’t really have drinks for children”. Luckily for me, my two are happy with water and orange juice. Two pints of what was evidently the first pull of the Birra Moretti capped off what was a disappointing visit. We drank what we could and left to return the safety of the Travelodge.

Following a night at Revolution Bar in Bath I am going to write a good review. Revolution provides a vibrant and safe environment for all to enjoy. The Security team are able to predict problems and work fast and fair to ensure they don't meterialise. The bar staff work fast and fair so too do the management team. Looking back at the multiple groups for Hen Nights and Birthday parties, it is clear why Revelation Bar in Bath is the venue they chose to enjoy their celebrations. Be it parties or people looking for a night out, this place gets thanks and a recommendation from me Charles Andrew Oyedele Ososami with the alounce and as a credit to God. Peace.

The tall silver haired security guard and people behind the bar made sure that the birthday girl had a special night, I really want to say thank you for everything that they did to make her night special, the security guard made sure that we was safe at all times and having a goodnight even when leaving he made sure that we was safe and going home, I highly recommend this place for the service and atmosphere! It was a very nice place to visit and I would love to come back again

Had afternoon tea yesterday and Lilly was fabulous even though they had numerous hen dos she made sure we were fed and watered and checked on us throughput even though we sat outside and everyone else was inside

Didn't eat here, went later to dance and socialise whilst in Bath for the carnival weekend.. Great music and people there..would recommend.

Monday nights, first time Salsa dancing lesson - three levels with beginners downstairs. It was fabulous!!

Absolute poor experience! We was not an overly large group and it was not busy, drinks orders were taken incorrectly, 2for1's were missing, Horrendous bar staff and equally bad security.

Really cool venue, Super lovely staff but our food was ultra processed and cold. And there were only 1 other couple in there so the kitchen wasn't exactly under pressure! Would return but only for a drink and the vibe

Great place open late on a Sunday night for a few drinks. Staff were great and very friendly. I left my hotel key there and they kindly dropped it back to the hotel for me after I had left Bath. Can’t rate the customer service high enough

Sadly such a let down after previously visited a number of times and had great cocktails. Long Island Iced Tea was a glass of Coke with no proper spirits (other than 5 shots of some premiered bottle). You don’t make a LIIT by filling the glass with Coke first. Pina Colada’s were so different both in terms of previous visits and the two staff that made them today. You could see they looked so different and we watched the staff put different items in each of the two batches. Would not be going back as the ‘manager’ did not seem to care when feedback given and he tried to explain that’s how they have always been made….that is absolutely not the case as we have watched them made before. Such a shame. Sorry guys but standards and quality of cocktails have really deteriorated and it might be the ‘Revolution way’ but it’s not a good way and I don’t like to give this feedback.

Would love to give less than 1 star but the bouncer with blonde hair and a big gap in his teeth assaulted my girlfriend and sister. Appalling behaviour and they were smiling when I mentioned it to them in complaint.

The food was close to cardboard, but we had a lovely hostess to start with. The music and dancing was great.

We had afternoon tea here with a cocktail… absolutely delicious food (specifically the chicken!!) and yummy cocktails (we had sex on the beach). service was great and staff were extremely friendly. Would absolutely love to come again!

We took advantage of the special meal price and it cost £46 for four of us to have a really nice meal. Service was excellent, with friendly and attentive staff. Meals arrived in good time - drinks arrived almost instantly.

Your door staff are an absolute waste of time ! There costing this venue so much money

New fish finger sandwich was seasoned very well and so were the chips, a very nice light lunch

Perfect if you want somewhere quiet for an early dinner. Great food. Great cocktails. The espresso vodka martini that comes with the tiramisu is outrageous. The service was excellent. Everyone was so friendly but professional and also exceptionally kind and helpful yet discreet, when my elderly mum was struggling to get out of her seat, due to her arthritis. Thank you all, so very much, especially Kyle.

Used to come Here for years until some jumped up steroid eating behemoth on the door! Joke of a place I’d rather stick to school disco with panda pops and penny sweets than cater for you nonce caring sweethearts

Went to revs for some food and cocktails with a few friends and what can I say… The food is tasty and within reasonable price! The cocktails are delicious and the atmosphere and staff are so lovely and genuine. Would highly recommend 😎

We went as a company for the cocktail making masterclass and the whole experience was great! Tom was an amazing host and was able to provide us with good offers on all drinks for the rest of the afternoon we were there. Definitely recommend for a team building experience, hen do or just drinks in general as it was an amazing afternoon that was well worth the money! Visited Revolutions yesterday for the Loca Loca event and I’m extremely disappointed with the treatment we have received. My friends and I went there on time after all paying for a 10 pound ticket and we were not let in, as the club was apparently at “full capacity” even though that did not stop them from selling tickets the entire week. In addition, people without tickets kept sneaking in from behind, whereas we were not let in whilst we both had a ticket and were there on time. Moreover, the bouncers were extremely rude and unhelpful throughout the entire situation. I’m very disappointed with the entire situation and would not recommend the place to anyone.

Disgusting place with disgusting people. Horrible security team for LOCA event, extremely rude, we were there on time and they let people in behind us without tickets in because they weren’t watching the gates and they snuck in, buy tickets at your own risk, would not recommend.

Great place to have catch up with friends, amazing quality food and drink for reasonable prices. Staff are lovely. Definitely one of, if not the best place I’ve had the pleasure of sitting and drinking in. Couldn’t recommend it enough.

I honestly cannot sing the praises of this place enough, they've always been super nice, been a few times now with work and not once have I had a bad experience. Get the Bubblegum Daiquiris, you won't regret them.

Popped in as Wetherspoons was packed and this place was quiet, unfortunately I found out why. Quite a few parties there (birthday and hen) and so popping in for a quiet drink was out of the question. Have to say the menu/pricing structure was a "what direction is the wind blowing" process, and two drinks for £17 was a bit over the odds. Also being told where to sit was a bit odd. Don't think I will bother again as too geared towards hen do's and large parties.

Book up for a bottomless brunch here on a Tuesday afternoon . We had a lovely welcome and was looked after very well. Our server did her best to cater to every request and the drinks just kept coming as we wanted them , mostly coming over and asking if we was ready for another drink before we had finished our last one . The food was fine, typical Brunch menu . We went back the next day just for a Quick pint but after reading the food menu we decided to have lunch there . £2.99 for lunch (burger and chips) or £4.99 for lunch and a pint and the food was great . We were served by someone different this time and he was amazing , We ended up staying for several hours and drinking many a cocktail at 2-1 prices and they were lovely . We felt very much appreciated and we were very well looked after . Thank you to the staff at Revolution Bath , We will be returning .
