Romeos Diner in Bradford

Good quality food. Yates good. Place is clean which makes a massive difference to me. Although I haven't been in a while I think I should visit some time soon

Visited this place for the first (and last time) ever. We were seated quite quickly and told to order at the till. As I was standing at the till I noticed the young guy cooking and plating dishes was giving odd (angry) looks to customers. I ignored it and sat down. Food came and it was ok I took a few bites and noticed the same guy blowing on his gloves. He was spitting on the gloves and his arm. He promptly stopped when the older guy who seemed like the manager came back but started again when the older guy went into the back kitchen. There was a female member of staff who was laughing and they both thought it was hilarious. In full view of customers and in the middle of a pandemic....unbelievable. My big regret? I wish I had filmed him as it would have been proof for environmental health. Needless to say we promptly stopped eating and walked out. Such people have no place in a restaurant establishment they are going to make someone seriously ill!!!

The food is rather nice but the service wasn’t the best, finished my food before my milkshake arrived

Nice comfy interior. Had nacho’s and pizza which were really good however i was expecting fries rather than chips from a diner - the chips werent amazing but they werent bad

The decor and food are great at this place. Would recommend to anyone. Try the lasagne or the Penne Pasta!

First review ever. Got given a very scratched up glass when ordering bottomless drinks. Sirloin steak was largely tasteless. Chicken pene and lasagne were nice. When i ordered a chocolate milkshake it came full of cream from a bottle and not much else. Not one to kick up a fuss i was leaving after our meal and i rather unwisely thought it best just to give a bit of feedback (least i can do paying 30 quid per head). I said to the young lad on my way out that the milkshake had cream and nothing else and i got a nod and smile. Quite an odd response when a paying customer gives negative feedback. I asked if he heard what i said and he said yeah i did and smiled again. The guy seemed more interested in joking around with his female colleagues. Have had good experiences going to Romeo's in the past but will definitely not be going back.

Usually turn up with friends and business associates for lunch or dinner. Nice clean and tidy place with good quality food and service at reasonable prices. Would definitely recommend to all ..

I have been to Italian restaurants and also to Asian ones too so plenty of experience there. This was one place that I had high hopes for but one that was just ok and did not live up to the hype I believed it would. It was ok and that’s about it. I cannot say that I would go out if my way to go there again as I won’t.

We went for food on the 20th May. There was 5 of us and the burgers was really poor quality. We all said this was not how it use to be. Service was really slow, the drink machine was not working. Burgers costing £10 should taste better than this !!!!! Avoid this place - cheaper and better burger places in Bradford.

Amazing food and service on another level was over the moon with our order and they have a affordable refill drinks service

Romeos is a no-frills diner but the warm atmosphere and cleanliness (5* hygiene rating) makes up for it. I recommend their build your own burgers and their chicken steak with peppercorn sauce! And finish it off with a scoop of candy-floss ice cream - it is so creamy and moreish.

We came this evening, grandson just gone vegan so I said they will have something for us all. Great veggie burger, best we've ever had, a treat, one had pizza, too much to eat so took some home, plenty in the meal, just over £40 for 4 of us so a good deal. We all had plenty to eat. It was very busy so we were told it would be 30 minute wait for the food, well worth the wait. Just one toilet but pleased to say Hot water in the toilet, good. The guy who served us was run off his feet, we gave him a tip and he was very surprised. We would definitely go again. Delicious !

Regular customer. This place always delivers great value pizzas with wide range of toppings. The burgers can be customised however you'd like them. The interior is comfortable. The service is quick but sometimes they forget to provide water when asked. Will come again in the future.

The manager claimed it was the best burger in West Yorkshire, and for the price, under 8 pounds with a side order, it is good. There are a few places in Leeds however which are a little step up in burger quality, but they're also a step up in price. So Romeo's burgers are definitely fantastic for the price. I recommend the burgers, the Italian style thin base pizzas and the pasta bake.

Visited this place today and I am appalled with the customer service. We’ve waited over 30mins for our order and when I ask the waiter he says let me have a look at your order so I show him and then his like it will be another 5-10mins 40mins later I’m still waiting with kids screaming in my ear (not my kids). It’s obvious who this place picks and chooses to be nice too, a group of boys that turned up after me get there food before me!! I am not from Bradford so it was clear they looked after their own people. This is my first and last time that I will be visiting here! I am not happy! The waiter blatantly knew we was frustrated however did not care to even check up on the order! I’m still waiting!!!!! I only ordered a bloody chicken burger!! Nothing spectacular!! It’s just rude that I am a paying customer and the staff don’t give a toss!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Lovley atmosphere American themed inside really nice fresh food and really clean inside deff worth a visit 👌

Went for a family meal myself wife and 2 kids we found there was something for everyone and was cheaper then expected burgers are too die for and the coleslaw was the best I’ve had! Rounded off with a milkshake and ice cream!! Would deffo recommended

Good decent food and well priced. Ordered starters which were pretty good as was the chicken steaks.

Ordered chicken steak with roast vegetable,vegetables were not cooked properly had to send it back.This wasnt how roast vegs are meant to taste like,coleslaw was not nice.In general did not enjoy my meal.Would not go back.

Have been going to this joint for almost 5 years. Everynow and then i venture to some other italian diners but always end up here. Went to Marco and Carls the other day. The penne was nothing the one you get from here. Makes me appreciate the place even more. I would definitely advise you try the american burgers, penne and steaks. The peppercorn sauce is brilliant. The prices are maybe somewhat steep but you get really good food for the money you pay.

Food ok, although my husband said it was cheap meat in his burger & tasted a little odd!

I visited Romeos as it is a local diner and I have driven past it many times, so thought I would give it a go - BIG mistake.

11 out of 10 customer service and highly recommended. Was my first time there and was advised to get the American beef burger which which a good choice. Definitely Hifsah needs a pay rise for the excellent service provided.

Romeos ok for pasta burgers pizza. Price wise ok with unlimited refill on drinks not much choice and not the best a bit watery and flavourless. Kids enjoyed the burgers. Order your food at the till but with so many sides and add ons can get confusing when ordering for a large family. Overall it's ok.

So there was 4 of us yesterday night. 2 of my friends enjoy the pasta there, I however have found the food mediocre in the past. Anyway we decided to pay another visit.

First time coming to Romeos diner and me and my mate enjoyed the food and the quality of the service provided by the two young lass's ALISHA and hifsha

Firstly it took them 15 minutes to seat us... then 45 mins to bring our food out. It wasn't even busy. Never again.

Long time since I've been but same consistently high food, really good menu, something for everyone. Went with family and we all ordered something different, all pleased with the food. Staff very friendly and attentive. Waitress worked off her feet, when we gave her a tip she was very surprised, shame more people don't tip good service !! Toilets ok, outside eating area, great soul music playing, cannot praise it enough. I would reccomend it to everyone, I had fish burger, great, one had chicken burger, one had pizza, huge had to take half home and youngster had spaghetti noodles and meatballs.

Good food and very good service would definitely come again the food is high quality could not fault

I've been to romeos diner in bradford a few times gotta say the atmosphere is always pleasant and would recommend to anyone. The food is tasty and high quality as I've tried the chicken steak it's very good. The staff are friendly.

Have visited twice now and both times the food has been consistently high quality.Had the chicken steak and fish steak. Very impressed and made the trip especially from Manchester to Bradford, definitely well worth the trip! Well done guys

Was recommended this place by a few people, thought it was overrated but really nice atmosphere especially it being Bradford, food was on time and tasty. Only negative thing was how you have to go to till to order (not really American dining).

Been coming here for a few years but the only thing I love eating here is the chicken stake with peppercorn sauce and roasted vegetables. Nice American diner experience whether you sit inside or outside.

Couldnt fault anything. Clean restaurant ,lovely decor, friendly and helpful staff. Go and have a burger you wont regret it!

After a quick work visit to Yorkshire, decided to take the family to Romeos Diner In Bradford as I had previously been and enjoyed it a lot. It didn't disappoint again.

Nice burgers decent service could improve though but seating is very tight not good for family outing or quite table to have a chat. Drinks system could improve too overall nice would go back again solo or with friends

Went here with a group of friends for something to eat. The people working there were very welcoming and friendly. It was easy to place order and very reasonable in price for the food you got. I ordered pizza, chips and corn on the cob. Very tasty and would highly recommend to friends. Will definitely come back to this restaurant.

The food is quite good but did not blow us away. The staff are friendly though and the service was good overall.

Ordered the chicken steak it was beautiful had the mash and chips as sides and they completed the best meal i have had in a long time. Would go again and recommend to anyone to try it out👍🏽

Visited with my family on a recommendation for the burgers. I put my hand out to say that it is the tastiest burger I’ve tasted in years. The atmosphere is of American style with furniture and music. Check the pictures.

The service is (mainly) good and quick. The waitress did forget to bring us water. The burgers are very good but we did not enjoy the steak. Cheesy garlic bread was amazing.

Went out with the family for a night out. The weather was not very good, snowing on the way, however once we got to the Diner it was nice and warm. The food was good, quick self-service and the waitress bring the food quickly. Good atmosphere.

Can’t fault the service it was amazing, we were served by lucky who was very friendly, we got pizzas and pastas.. food came out quick and was hot.. I’ve been before and had their burgers which are also really nice, customer service is always spot on I would definitely recommend people to visit here.

I've been to this restaurant a couple of times every year for the past 4 years or so and not once have I left feeling dissatisfied nor have I found places closer to my own home that are as good as Romeo's in terms of American style dining experiences.

It's different & if that's what interests you, go. A fairly restricted menu but that often means that what is produced is good - this is such a restaurant. Simple food but very well done - and if you like burgers, this is the place for you. The staff are welcoming & friendly, the atmosphere relaxed, and you don't feel ruched.And what can I say about their strawberry milkshake! Leave room for it - it's excellent.

Food was great as always and amazing customer service from Danyaal Mir every time I visit. Always makes sure my food is good and I have everything I need.

Nice American diner experience. Great place for pizzas, burgers and steaks. Friendly and helpful staff. Seating is amicable but it’s not the biggest of restaurants inside.

Chicken marinated in this chilli, tangy and tasty sauce with some peppercorn sauce and chips (of course) The peppercorn sauce isn’t needed but mellows out the chicken if the tanginess isn’t what you fancy

I don't know if I was expecting the food to be bursting with flavour but found the burger and pasta dishes bland. May be the food needs a little bit of oomph or something to increase the flavour to tantalise them taste buds.

The burgers were nice and had a good atmosphere. The decor fit in with the food served and would recommend to others.

Disappointed... been looking forward to another halal steak house. The food was edible. Expensive and they got the order wrong twice. I had a burger being honest it just tasted like I was eating a large lump of mince. My daughter had the meat ball main and she couldn't eat it saying it was too hot. So I tried them (original chilli eater) and that's when I agreed with her and stopped telling her to eat her food. I would avoid. I don't like leaving bad reviews but had to be done for future visitors

Although it's on the pricey side, their portion sizes are generously large and their chicken burgers are the by far best in town! Could eat their burgers religiously for weeks on end! Staff are also incredibly polite, friendly and welcoming...greeting you with a warm smile and opening doors for you as you leave- make the experience all the more better! The only down side and reason for 4 stars is due to their awful watered down drinks that are relatively pricey considering the fact that it's worse than cheap supermarket pop. Despite it being refillable, the quality of drink is unjustifiable- definitely need to improve in that area. Other than that would Deffo visit again and would recommend others to give it a try too!

Goed voor een snelle niet te dure hap eten. Gratis refill van je drinken. Pasta was goed, steak en kip waren goed klaargemaakt.

Service is good, interior is nicely designed. The burgers are very good and the customisation options are top notch. I would avoid ordering pasta there again as it Ieft a lot to be desired unfortunately. Overall good place to go with family too.

I am regular customer here and i am never disappointed. Food was amazing as usual and the service by "maa-noor" was great. She was very attentive and bubbly. Cant wait for my next visit

The staff are incredibly friendly and the food is awesome! I have visited a few times now with different friends and everyone has said how nice the food is!

Went today there was 9 of us no waiting.. absolutely welcoming staff our server Omar was friendly and couldn't of done more for us the food was amazing and the puddings are a must ! Overall a fantastic place to go eat would recommend to any one we even left a iPhone on table with out realising and the server brought it too us outside !

Every time I have gone I have received fantastic service from the staff and the manager and owner has always been polite and lovely to me and my sisters. Excellent food and enjoyable experience and my order is always correct no mistakes made and value for money.

Been coming with my sons and sisters for years and the service is always 110 %. The pizza was made to my boys very picky specifications and the kids grilled chicken burger was perfect ( as always)

We've been regular guests at this diner because my kids like the food. On most occasions I find the food and the staff fine. However on this last occasion, the owner made a mistake while taking the order and instead of rectifying the mistake he came over to tell me that I had in fact ordered chillies on my 6 year old's margarita pizza instead of my combo pizza. He spent ten minutes trying to justify that it was in fact me who had made the mistake and refused to remake the pizza. If I wasn't with my children he would've Gotten a mouthful from me, from his obnoxious temperament this person seemed psychotic. This person was so rude that his embarrassed staff were apologising on his behalf. Sorry kids will have to eat somewhere else next time as the old man had lost his marbles.

Attended Romeos Diner tonight after a spontaneous visit. The place was fairly busy for a weekday evening. We attending without a booking and seated promptly.

Visited last Friday (friends choice for our lunch date) was very impressed with quality and price.

Good choice of food. You can pick and choose your own ingredients for your burgers. Nice set up and environment.

Nice friendly and quirky restaurant with an American theme. Food is more gourmet and quite pricey but good quality.

The food is so delicious and mouthwatering it definitely raises the standard of all the Bradford restaurants, it is the best food I have tried in a while not bald and boring but full of flavor and texture.The customer service from start to finish was excellent . I would defiantly recommend this

I don't often write reviews, as I always believe even if a Resturant doesn't preform to the standards you expect give them the benefit of doubt. As I'm a business man myself and I realise sometimes things don't go to plan that's the why things are sometimes.

Went for a family meal. Not the most scenic neighbourhood but a great restaurant. You can 'build your own burger', choosing everything from the bun to the cheese, extras, and sauce...and they are delicious. There was a steady stream of people coming in so clearly popular amongst the locals - always a good sign.

This is a nice diner, it's nicer than a fast food burger bar but not as formal as a restaurant. It's ideal for a family meal. The menu offers a range of pizza's, burgers, pasta, sandwiches etc all of which can be personalised where you pick your own toppings and sides. The food is nice and good value for money as it's always really fresh and tasty.

Drove past Romeos and couldn't resist stopping for a bite to eat, I hadn't been to an American Diner for a long time & had a craving for an oversized burger. The diner has a retro theme with 80's/90's music playing. Staff were very friendly & explained the ordering process. I ordered a customised burger, fries & bottomless soft drink, food came approx 10 mins after ordering & the portion was as you would expect from an American style diner, extremely large. The burger was good, not the best I've had but I couldn't really fault it. I would recommend Romeos, and would dine again when next in the area.

ordered a past bake which had hair on it. when complaint to a staff , they said because it is been busy it is ok to gave hair on the dish.

Went in for a lovely waffle and ice cream nice place, nice people and there was a very young and polite waiter Haaris, he served my food and made sure I had no problems.

Brought the kids here for late lunch on Saturday. Our hostess was very polite and explained how we need to order our food etc. After 10 minute wait, our food arrives and it was hot and delicious. We ordered two build your own burgers, a chicken steak and a kids bologna pasta. The diner is very small but quiet so it was fine. Old classic tunes were playing in the background.
