The best restaurants in United Kingdom serving American food

Good buzzy vibe, good waitress, food average, disappointed with my ribs, annoyed with, as a nice gesture our grandson was asked if he would like to pick the film, which was good, then found we were not in view of any of the screens.

Très bon burgers et très bonnes frites ! Prise de commande rapide, temps d'attente correct, de la place à 12h30/13h ! Personnel agréable et serviable. Lieu propre (y-c les WC) Rien à dire mis à part le prix pour des burgers... mais c'est Londres. :)

Fue ridículo que llegamos allí y nos dijeron que no nos servirían en su cocina está cerrada a pesar de que fuimos por los tiempos en línea y que había dicho que era medianoche. Esto fue terrible, ya que mi amigo ha viajado fuera de la ciudad que nos rechazaron.

Food was good; we decided to eat at lunchtime and live nearby. Very busy staff attentive and pleasant. Clean and plates cleared without asking. BIG problem if you don’t like sharing with dogs yapping and begging for food. Surprised with hygiene being the in thing that they allow animals in the cafe. Definitely will be off the list.

Full of morons who don’t seem to understand why there is a 30ft bar and queue in a single line out the doors! You’re not in Primark now, it’s a pub and there is a long bar for a reason, stop keep thinking you’re in a shop queue and don’t moan when people stand along the bar correctly. Staff need to reiterate this to the fools that queue. As for my food, it was truly awful. Very dry steak and the chips were like rubber. I also asked for an egg and they said there’s an egg shortage. What planet are these people on!?!

Incompetent waiter first took our order. Young Asian gentleman wearing glasses. Messed up the drinks order and the food order completely. Tried arguing over the fact I wanted to order a small portion of Mac and cheese for my elderly grandmother and said that we couldn’t. Had to have one dish re cooked as it was completely wrong.

I frequent this pub regularly and find myself getting very frustrated with the bar staff? I believe it’s not entirely the faults of the actual staff but the management. On 8th Nov I was in the pub around 4;30 pm and it wasn’t that busy . The first trip to the bar was reasonably acceptable with a member of staff really trying hard to serve the customers but I noticed another 2 staff chatting most of the time When I went back around 5 ish there was obviously new staff arriving as it was quite evident one member could not sign into the till. At this point there was only myself and one other at the bar. The person trying to sign in then asked one of the staff to help which is acceptable but this escalated to around 5 people alll congregating around the till including the manager, this went on for 10 mins until I finally said “ can I ask why it takes 5 of you guys to sort a till out while we are ( now 6 ) people waiting for service as the other tills are working? With this one of the staff immediately came over and went to serve me. Then the manager came over and said “ I don’t like your attitude ! Can you please leave ? I was amazed as I did not swear , I did not shout, I just asked a direct question after standing watching this fiasco for over 10 mins. Obviously I left but did say to the manager now I can see why your Wetherspoon’s is so low on the list of Weatherspoon in the UK. I won’t be going back as it just stresses out the customers. I will point out whilst I was waiting I was within 6 feet of all the staff around the till and at no point in 10 mins did anyone look up and say sorry for the delay or even make any eye contact, it was just as if we were a pain in the arse asking to get served.

Food fine. Family drink all good. However hot chocolate tasted off. Almost like they had put some coffee in it. I hate coffee & hardly drank any of it.

Buen gusto. Todo ha sido bueno y han sido realmente profesionales. Además el costo no es tanto. Prueba las papas fritas

I had the thin crust BBQ chicken pizza. It was good but I miss the red onions that are put on BBQ chicken pizzas in the US. The waiter was friendly. The timing on the service was average.

Newly renovated awesome view food is good and Riley was fantastic. Very attentive and just all round good service. Looking forward to to the expanded menu.

Was looking forward to having breakfast here after it's recent refurbishment. Unfortunately my daughter had a hair in her breakfast and couldn't continue eating. I then found one in mine as well so we had to leave. The waitresses who were very nice apologised and offered us another breakfast but we declined.

I visited the Marine Bistro in Tarbert Argyll on Wednesday 23rd April 2025 for a takeaway meal for two of us. Before I write my review can I please tell anyone who is thinking of visiting this establishment for any food especially Indian food, avoid it at all costs. I ordered two main meals, rice, naan and poppadoms, the chicken in the main meal was dry and tuff and the meal had no flavour to it at all. The rice was dry and bland, the naan was thin and tasteless and very tuff (naan was garlic and coriander so it should have had some flavour) The other main meal was exactly the same. After some thought I decided to go back to the Marine Bistro and explain my feelings to the member of staff so as they could put things right before I posted my review. Unfortunately I wasted my time as the young lad was totally disinterested in what I had to say and refused to do anything about it. All I got was, and I quote, I can't remember, when did you come in, oh, well we will try to be better next time. I said with your response and lack of customer service, there won't be be a next time, his reply was, well ok. so I left feeling very dissatisfied and decided to post my feelings on the Tarbert Facebook page, however they refused to post it and deleted my post which is not going to help the local community . I have since heard other customers say that they have experienced other issues, I won't list them here as I have not personally experienced what is being said, however I can totally believe what others are saying. . I have visited Indian restaurants socially and through my work for about 60 years and I can honestly say that the food and service at the Marine Bistro in Tarbert Argyll is the worst I have ever had, without doubt. Do not think that I will give it a try, it can't be that bad, it is and worse, it is also very expensive and the portion sizes are nothing short of starter portions. Stay well clear and save the dissapiontment and expense.
