This spot is a joke they m me I couldn’t have fun I get it was a Tuesday night but we are entitled to have fun and they stopped that so in my opinion it’s embarrassing

We had lunch here and it is your average Wetherspoons. We ordered food and service at the bar was friendly and efficient. The food arrived quickly and the server asked if we wanted any sauces. The food is nothing to write home about but it is totally fine given the price point. Both were tasty, the batter crispy and the chips were fine. We had fish and chip and a scampi and chips. The menu seems more limited than at other Wetherspoons I have visited but there should be something for most people.

Awful food very few chips with fish got 9 chips, fish was also very small and I did not order the small one price increase does not mean less food.

I had a few where I could see into the kitchen and half the food was going into the microwave which I didn’t know about Wetherspoons before. Makes me wonder how the chips are done because they aren’t really enjoyable half the time. Could tell my cookie dough was definitely done in the microwave.

Dirty tables, food all over floor and I was given no cutlery just had my food dropped on my table to eat with my hands to eat my nuggets with like it’s McDonald’s.

Spotted this bar/restaurant on the way to a day out for our daughter's birthday and decided to go for breakfast. It was very busy - half term, maybe - but we managed to find a table. Good varied menu and the food ordered at the bar came quickly and was tasty. Free refills of hot drinks is a bonus too. Efficient staff and clean tables, nothing wrong at all.

1 of the hottest days of the year and a member of staff came over to tell me, a grown man with my own mind that I'm not allowed to be topless OUTSIDE. It's a free country I'm outside and I'll do what I like.. I'm disgusted that they think they have the authority or a right to tell me what I can and can't wear OUTDOORS! Will not be using this place again. They don't deserve custom when they think they can talk to you like crap and treat you like a child. Will be taking my custom where its appreciated in future topless or not.

I am very upset when I turned up at the door of the Abraham Darby I asked if there was tables available I was then told yes by one of the security guards who then looked me up and down and said I wasn’t allowed in due to the fact I had jogging bottoms on I feel discriminated against because others was allowed in due to different dress codes I don’t think this is fair because when I looked inside others were in there with jogging bottoms on I will not be returning back to the place after how I have been treated.

Just writing to say thank you to Connor and Mandy at the above pub today for their helpfulness and politeness. I was trying to order food and drinks for myself and a fiend using the app, as I am 70 years of age am not very techie Connor was brilliant helping me and Mandy was lovely to talk to, so I am saying this again thank you for a great lunch h as it's the first time we have been out in over a year. Arrived on Saturday 17th April at 12pm for lunch, walked straight in and found a table which were located outside, the app wasn't working so we had to wait a while for a waitress to take our order but it was very busy. We orderd our food which came in next to no time, it was hot and fresh. The staff were very busy but polite and were working extremely hard.

The only positive I have is the waitress who seated us was lovely. The rest both breakfasts were cold. The cutlery was dirty under the tables not clean. The spider seemed to like it though. Also the manager dumped our cups on the table with a gruff help yourself. Will not be visiting again especially in the current climate.

What would have been a pleasant Thursday night was spoilt by the "security guard" insisting that we had to be out by 10.00 pm. Three times he reminded us from 9.40, "drink up please" "on your way" - fair enough it is the law and he has a job to do but on his "final insistence" it was only 9.50pm, we left and I was home by 10.00pm. You have to download their App and then go through the rigmarole of ordering your food & drink and payment. What could possibly go wrong? I am not a fan of this Wetherspoon and can't see me going here again thinking my local /independents are more worthy of support.

I ordered a cheese and tomato panni. Firstly mine wasn't hot, and secondly, it somewhat lacked tomato. I had two chunks in each. The tomato hadn't even been sliced!! . They had clearly cut a tomato into 4 quarters instead of slicing it. No effort had been put into it, I don't know why they bothered. It wasnt great to be honest. It's a shame because the staff are so lovely, welcoming and polite but unfortunately the food hasnt improved which is disappointing. :(

OK so now this pub is adhering to the social distancing and government guidelines, this is brilliant. However, on my latest visit, I am a bit confused. The lady who served us at the bar was wonderful, I do not know her name but her customer service skills were really on point. However, the lady wearing a badge saying "team leader" who brought us our food out was nothing short of rude and unpleasant. She did not tell us what the food was, she simply dropped all the food on the table and we had to walk round and get it. What is this all about? Is this Covid training? I thought people would be trained to at least say basic manners - 'please' and 'thank you'. Anyway, as something was missing of our order, I was looking out for a staff member, but there was none to be seen apart from those working hard on the bar. After about 10 minutes, a flock of staff had arrived out of no where, I went near one lady who simply smelt of cigarettes, which then explained to me where they had been. Disgusting! However, despite this, she did resolve the issue and apologised.

Visited for breakfast was disappointed when it arrived luke warm. Service was quick therefore baffled as to how food wasn’t served hot.

Popped in for lunch whilst shopping in the centre with my daughter. Lovely lady allocated us a table number on entry and asked us to use hand sanitiser. Ordered food from the app which was very easy. Drinks were bought over in cans. I had to ask for a glass which was fine. Staff pleasant, food lovely. Screens separating us from other diners. Such a shame that tables were not being sanitised when vacated. A lady who was meant to be cleaning the tables had a spray bottle but another member of staff who was also doing the tables did not. She gave the tables a quick wipe with the same cloth no sanitiser. This has put me off returning. I would like to see tables and seating sanitised properly as this is going to put people off going. Such a shame as everything else was good but the most important thing didn't get done.

7 minutes agoFirst time out after lock down , very well organised as in social distancing and shown to a table , screens up at the tills , spots on the floor two meters apart at the bar ,all very good until the couple on the next table left , the glasses were cleared away and another couple sat down. No sanitisation of table what so ever , then they left and a member of staff sprayed the minutest bit of sanitizer .. ? on the table and flicked a cloth over it , no contact time what so ever . The tables are the most likeliest place to pick up COVID where people have had hands on and eaten off . Needless to say we won’t be going back to a wetherspoons.

Went this morning for breakfast and was given an egg that must have been cooked last week!! Bacon was cold, tomato looked like it was frozen and mushroom looked like it had just come out of the garden!!! I have felt really ill since. Like other reviews I agree tables, floor and toilets dirty. Think council need to visit to carry out hygiene test.

I don't like to leave unsatisfactory reviews but this could not be left unsaid. My wife and I simply popped in for a quick lunch accompanied by a drink or two. The service was atrocious. I waited at the bar for at least 5 minutes and I did not complain nor treat the member of staff poorly in any way, the young lady spoke to me absolutely disgustingly, she even began serving someone else having not completed my order and ignored me when I kindly informed her she'd given me the wrong amount of change. The floor itself was very unappealing, I understand this line of work can be very demanding but the majority of the tables were unwiped and clustered with dirty plates. The food, when it finally arrived may I add, was undercooked and upon trying to speak to a waiter to have my steak reheated, he made eye contact with my but continued to walk away as if he didn't hear me. I'd like to add that both our food and drinks were left behind as we decided to leave and drink elsewhere. A disappointing example for Wetherspoon.

Visited this pub with my wife. There were dirty tables and food in the floor. Service was non existant so left very quickly. Avoid at all costs, never again.

Went here on weds 18th Dec for a get together, lighting was very poor, are you saving on the electricity, how are you supposed to read the menu. Luckily we knew what we wanted. Tables were clean and service at till was good. The downfall was the table near us a lady swearing nearly every other word. Couldn't move table as no other available. Food was acceptable. Lighting needs improvement.

Whilst the food and drinks are acceptable the gents toilets are another story. Despite being staff checked every few hours the gents toilets, the samefor 6 months or more, are nothing less than third world. Broken locks, broken roll holders, broken seats, excrement all over the place is deemed acceptable by the management of this establishment. Simply put "a pigsty"

Having visited at least 43 other Wetherspoons (at least two have closed since), I needed to pop in here to complete the brand's representation in the West Midlands.Not an ideally located one for me, ie, adjacent to a shopping centre (as is The Arthur Robertson, Perry Barr), but there is a large outdoor space with a nice selection of plants that would be more enticing during warmer spells.Busy inside, with lots of families and a TV screen showing younger viewers programmes, definitely suited for families. Some interesting descriptions of the local history on the walls and smart bathroom up the stairs.Bar service was a bit slow due to the staff multitasking with what looked like a skeleton crew. No smiles behind the bar, unsurprising really as they looked tired.If I had shares in this brand, I would ask the board to pop in and have a look for themselves how this pub could quite possibly increase takings in the run up to Christmas with an extra couple of staff, just saying.

Hangover cure. Big portions. But tomato was like it has been in the freezer all morning. Also toast cold. Refill coffees a good option. Typical weatherspoons

Breakfast was brought the first time stone cold. The second time the bacon was more like charcoal. The eggs were as rubbery as a football. To be fair to the waitress she was polite shame about the bar staff. Think I'll avoid this place from now on

Understaffed, dirty tables, demoralised staff!One person serving a long queue of bar customers, I would have ordered via their "updated" app - the previous app was fine, but the "new" version is not compatible with my phone or tablet!Dirty tables. Again not enough staff!Demoralised. I can't say that I blame them as they are overworked and not able to provide a quality service.Get your act together Mr Martin!

Absolutely vile place, tables dirty , staff rude, ordered pulled chicken & bacon salad, came with no bacon, asked for a bar b sauce for my daughter & was told had to pay which was fine but told to get in a large que to do this, she would have finished food if I had have bothered. Garlic bread under cooked, no one really can work out the serving system at the bar. Will never bother again.

We had to wait nearly 1 hour for our breakfast, when I asked staff what the delay was they were very rude and unhelpful.

Came in on wednesday with my wife and a few cocktails good price 2 for £12. yes they were big jugs and very refreshing

Its becoming a bit of a routine for us now, breakfast is always spot on and ordering on the app is hassle free. Our order always arrives promptly and the free refils on tea and coffee are a welcome addition. Couple this with free wifi and Merry Hill next door, why wouldn't you make this your first stop of the day?

Tried to use the app wasnt working however the money had gone from the bank. Nikki member of staff did not want to help me told me i would have to pay again. When the till and card machine wasnt working she just said "well its been workin' all day darlin'". So mad I am not your darling..I am a customer and would expect to be treated with just a little bit of respect. Will not be using the app or visiting this wetherspoons again, there are far better!

Had lunch here today mushroom benedict Eggs hard ,muffin soggy and sauce congealed ,my friend had regular breakfast luke warm .When I tried to speak to waitress she simply walked off .Would not recommend this establishment by contrast the wetherspoons in walsall is excellent

Went to watch the grand national for our special afternoon out. We went to the bookies which we have never done in our lives and had a few drinks and a meal. Sat down and started to watch race. Not the grand national! Staff did not care that wrong race was shown. No apology - nothing. Absolutely disgusting. Took our money but couldn't care less that we were drinking in their pub and having a meal whilst NOT watching the grand national. Disgraceful customer service.

We popped in here after a bit of shopping I had the fish and chips which were good,the wife had the steak which was really good so I was told.the beer was good as usual my wife had tea which she enjoyed.

If you want bad attitude from staff then this is place to come

If you want a plate piled up with high calorific, cholesterol laden salty food, served in a dark dreary dirty pub - this is the place to get the best experience. An irresponsible approach from the chain owners, ensures that visitors are not encouraged to maintain a healthy lifestyle through good food choices. The ability to have a pint with your breakfast can't seriously be a good option! Definitely not for me!

Mixed grill..... more like a dried grill Meat was dry and shrivelled We, as a couple have eaten in a few weatherspoons, this has got to be the worst Disabled toilets were disgraceful Atmosphere was dull. Not impressed at all

Popped in here for breakfast on a Monday morning. It was quite early and the place was very quiet. Ordered porridge with blueberries and brown sugar, and an orange juice. The server told me I was literally the only person in there when she brought my porridge over, but I realised as I started eating it that there was no brown sugar in it, and therefore no sweetness unless you had a blueberry to bite into. In itself, not a huge issue, but how can such a simple mistake be made on such a basic dish, when the place was dead ?!

Went to this establishment on a Friday night for a drink we ordered drinks and the cocktails we ordered came in 4 pint glasses so we asked what the hell you do not serve a cocktail in this the barstaff said there are no pitchers what an utter joke I ended up leaving it we sat down the place stunk of weed we sat by 3 guys who either kept letting a stink bomb off or they need there bowels looking at disgusting I wont be coming back here let me add I stay in wetherspoon hotels all over the country and visit pubs but this manager needx to sort staff if they letting them serve customers like that evan after complaining

Went to the toilet and a member of staff followed me, she visited the toilet as the same time as myself, washed her hands then signed the work sheet to say that she had checked all the toilets to make sure they were clean then walked out, but obviously she didn't do anything at all to honour what she had signed for, why have the sheet when the staff don't do what they are supposed to

Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner here to suit all. Variety of ales, ciders, wines & spirits with seating areas for families, or secluded corners for couples. Access for wheelchairs & pushchairs is fine here, with outside seating for smokers who drink too. Menu is more varied ,Traditional & Vegetarian breakfast ideal, with Vegan meals too!. If a Gluten Free person, you will find G/Free items on Menu too!. Buy a tea or coffee & you may get a free refill if thirsty. Tables clean & service was fast, with friendly "Lucy" efficiently bringing us butter for toast, on seeing it missing from plates brought. With large, or small portions for people who like a lot or a little here, plus clean toilets, worth a visit.

Decided to try here again to see if the place had improved since our last visit and indeed it has! The service was much better which was quick, food was hot and the staff were friendly.

Went here for a Christmas get together, tables were clean, was busy, service was excellent , didn't have to wait long for our food to arrive. Food was hot and pizza was alot bigger than expected. Can not fault our evening was a lovely experience.

Staff were pleasant, good service. Spacious seating area, we all sat together in a 1/2 circle. Clean bar. Toilets could of done with being checked.

Came to breakfast with friends, had to wait about 10 minutes to order breakfast, it did come quite quickly but not a lot of staff working and staff were a bit confused about our orders but we got there in the end

our food was lovely however when i asked the waitress to please wipe the table which we had already cleared of plates etc from people before you would have thought i had 2 heads our food was put there and table was never wiped clean i appreciate they were fairly busy but wiping a table takes 2 seconds

We met friends here and as usual good value for money good value drinks and good food , bar service was good also .

Good place for a cheap meal out or a drinks time out. Only complaint is it is a very smoking friendly place as it has a lot of outside seating.

Had a drink here and got a dead fly in it. Staff were disinterested when I told them. Promised a refund but still waiting as I had ordered via the app and 'its difficult'. I won't hold my breath as I didn't get the last one. Avoid this dump. See pics.

After returning via bus from a day out, we stopped for a bite to eat, before we headed back to our narrowboat on the nearby canal.

We came here for a cheap meal and a good beer which we got,my wife’s steak was good chips excellent my fish was poor too much batter over cooked with a thin slither of fish the chips was good though,the curry sauce I had with it was cold but the beer was excellent as usual.

Great food and service though being in a shopping center this place is all ways busy and if your lucky to get a table you cant moan about the food as i waited for a table and the food was above what i expected...

First time using the app on a lunch time treat whilst shopping with my son. Drinks arrived promptly and food appeared very soon after. All very hot and tasty and great value for money. We will certainly do that again soon.

We always come here on way thriough Merryhill,sometimes twice on a Saturday night,this time we had to que in a long line to be served,15 minutes,with only two bar staff,tables were not cleared ,obviously understaffed.

Every Monday I come in there is never eny beers on all way's doing the pipes it's discussing they should make sure that the beer is ready before they open

Fast delivery and happy servers. The outside area is lovely to sit in - plenty of clean tables to choose from and really nice food.

Called in here for a breakfast and used the wetherspoons app for the first time.

& enjoyed it immensely! Just as well really as I had some sort of bean meal, that I wasn’t too keen on. MrDW got me an extra side (sure he’s trying to chub me up) of chicken, that I didn’t really want or particularly like either. He had the steak & kidney pudding which he said was most enjoyable. It wasn’t a bad atmosphere, busy, but not packed, staff do a good job.

The Wetherspoon chain is WYSIWYG ... namely, what you see is clearly what you get. There is nothing fascinating about this place. However, I was intrigued to see a long queue for the bar - encouraging me to use the app instead and take my seat.

The specials at all Wetherspoons are always popular and attract a lot of customers. However, they have discontinued these except for fish Friday. So, looks like find another venue until they see sense.

So after three very disappointing visits to the Waterfront Inn when they haven’t had what we wanted we went back to the one in a Merry Hill and sooooooo much better. Served really fast, food piping hot and what we ordered whoop whoop

Rude bar staff, over priced compared to other Wetherspoons. This place is trying to be something it’s not, bar member wouldn’t change the alcoholic drink to a soft drink, even though I don’t drink alcohol,

Having read the reviews I was apprehensive on visiting here. I had received my food order which was fairly good to then have the bar staff have their breaks the other side of where I was sitting deciding to read some reviews from Tripadvisor. To my surprise, they were reading out the bad reviews, but instead of finding improvements, they decided to ridicule the reviewers and take their badge of honour as a badly managed pub; deciding that everyone but they must be wrong.

We stopped in here for lunch during half term, middle of the week.

Went as was down there and hadn't eaten all day. Food ordered, wrong items sent. They wouldn't accept this. Menu changed drastically, literally less than half there was. Drinks ordered via app never arrived, they said I got the table wrong which I didn't. Never...

Visited for quick bite before going home after shopping. lovely atmosphere great floor staff, waiter called julian informed us of the new menu change and persuaded us to finished the meal with a couple of brownies and ice cream. nice casual lunch, fast service! somewhere...

Occasionally went here after a shop with daughter on a Thursday evening for their curry night, which was tasty and really good value. Went last week and was appalled at the downturn of the place. No themed evenings anymore, so no curry night, so we...

I was going to give a good score, staff were pleasent, food was usual Wetherspoons Fayre, mixed grill was good. Toilets were vandalised though I've seen worse. My issue was that when I pointed out to a member of staff that a young child was...

I asked here why some of their items on the menu are dearer than other wetherspoons, not only Dudley, bridgnorth. But, also torquay paignton, teignmouth and other popular resorts. They refused to answer?

We had the misfortune to choose this place for a pre-shopping breakfast. My English breakfast was barely warm enough to eat. My wife ordered a simple beans on toast which was inedible. The beans had been microwaved within an inch of their life! The toast was mushy, so had probably been microwaved as well. The staff never returned to check if the food was ok. I wonder why? We had lost the will so didn’t bother going back to the bar to report it. Certainly won’t be eating there again. Disgusting!!

I will often pop into a Weatherspoon while visiting or shopping in cities all over the UK. I find them convenient and reasonably priced. Lately, though, service in some of the pubs is not up to what you would expect. The staff seem to be hand-picked for their lack of experience and enthusiasm. Often I feel like I'm interrupting their conversations with each other. This happened to me here on Tuesday. Firstly, I had to stand in a queue (what is that all about). The queue was long because only one person was serving. A member of staff joined in to help by the time I got to the bar and had to interrupt him twice from his conversation to remind him he was serving me. When I swiped my card I was left standing there wondering if the transaction was finished because he went straight back into his conversation and didn't even offer me my receipt or even a thank you. Either he didn't put my food order through correctly of the kitchen staff got it wrong but my wifes' meal was completely wrong. We were told it will take two minutes to replace it. It took twelve. This will be my last visit here. While I'm here, can Wetherspoons do something about this idiotic queueing system? The staff should be paying attention enough to know who is next to be served.

Went in for meal and drink before going to cinema. The bar staff were rude and ignorant, whilst serving,they were talking to other members of staff. Our food order was wrong, which resulted in me and my husband having our meals at a different time due to mine having to be replaced. The "queue" system is unnecessary, trained bar staff would know who is next to be served. Would not go there again. Would also add that the no smoking section outside is a farce and not enforced. If you sit at the window tables or near the doors the smoking from outside wafts into the pub.

Located just on the side of Merry Hill shopping centre, The Abraham Darby is a great pub with a fantastic interior and nice outside seating space, if you want a break from the bustle of shopping this is a great place to relax.

Visited here after a busy day shopping. I should be clear I hate it here as it is always dirty, lots of glasses left on tables and the tables never see a wipe down. However my 6 year old wanted a pudding and I needed a drink. Rdered 2 puddings for a fiver using the app. The food came out and when my son was eating I noticed a very large piece of grey plastic in the ice cream. I quickly gave it to the server and she just said 'oh'. I'm not sure she knew what day of the week it was!

This place should be shut down the food is terrible and the attitude off the members off staff are discussing came here with my mom and son for some lunch after shopping early on in the week ordered our food which took over 40 minutes too come out, the waitress or whatever she wanted to call her self was beyond rude. we left our food has it was nothing but slop on a plate stay clear off this place and will defiantly be writing too higher forces about this place!!!

Went it this pub after shopping thought we would have a drink and a bit to eat the service at the bar was ok and friendly. We ordered food which didnt take very long to come when it did arrive the chicken tikka bites was still frozen called the waitress over who brought the food over and told her to feel the frozen food and abruptly refeused to feel how cold it was she took it back and was brought back out very hot could tell it had been microwaved to hot that it was done to prove a point disgusted by the attitude and service from the waitress as she never apologised for the cold food we was sitting on table 60.

I visited today. Ordered via the app it took over 10 minutes before they came to say no lamb which was ordered the chicken when it did come was over cooked and dry had to ask roe a refund as the second choice of food instead of the lamb was cheaper wasn't offered a refund just a pudding . The drinks ordered didn't arrive till after the food had been brought to the table. Won't be visiting again

First of all some family sat by us that actually stank of urine which wasn’t the places fault so we moved seats. I ordered buttermilk chicken burger and my partner had lamb shank . The food was awful and I found a hair in one of the onion rings actually sticking out of it made me feel sick couldn’t even be bothered to take back as cues were to big and being pregnant had to get out of there I felt that sick . Also the staff members were calling out the table numbers when bringing out food instead of knowing where the tables actually were as loud as they possibly could . The place looks great from the outside but the service and the hair in the food let it down massively

Visited there with my wife i had curry with nam bread .chicken was hard and nam bread was hard in places so won't be having that from there again .I also noticed the vents in ceiling was really dirty not very pleasant for eating food underneath them .seams to be getting bit run down now needs a revamp I think.

Decided to take the wife for breakfast .. What a mistake that was ... watched 4 other people have the wrong order bought out to them and when ours come out guess what .... it was also wrong .... eventually the correct order arrived but that followed by me carrying it back to the kitchen as everything was COLD and the eggs bounced off the plate like rubber .......I demanded my money back and walked out in disgust have been told by others after that the service and food is poor ... now I can understand what they say .. avoid at all costs for a major food chain this one let's it down

Salad and coffee for £7 can't be bad! Very friendly service and usual Wetherspoons menu but you know what to expect for the price paid. Great value for money and not bad surroundings . Food quickly delivered too after ordering ...would go there again if at the Shopping Mall.

We went in at 1:30 today and decided on the 3 for £10 menu-I went to order and noticed the table had no number-it had been levered out-I ordered but was told that i could not order without a number-thats your responsibility I said-we'll have to use the adjacent table number she said-Ok i'll look out for the food i said- After 2:00 I went to ask about the food-the server went to check and came back to say that the meal had gone out and someone had taken it!She said that the kitchen was chaos as there was not enough as anyone who left had not been replaced! I was given a refund(only for the food-not the lemonade!) Unfortunatley this a nothing new at this pub!

Awful awful awful experience! The app doesn't work properly here very very long waiting time.Should call this place first and last. As in first time here is my last time here.If I could give it a zero I would. Worst weatherspoons I've been to. And I've been to alot.

Been here for breakfast on a few occasions, no complaints.Quality of food and service was great.Spacious layout and plenty of places to sit, depending on the time you visit of course.

Visited here as a treat for my children. Ordered via the app so didn't have to leave children unattended. Kids meal prices have increased yet decreased in size. How is this right? Mixed grill well the meat was burnt and could be tasted yet staff didn't care. BBQ chicken melt meal well chicken was dry, bacon both undercooked and fatty. Cheese is meant to be melted but a cheap cheese slice was thrown on and little bbq sauce. Staff demanded us to move mid meal as they had a large group come in. Not great when an autistic child likes routine and that particular table. When asking for a manager to complain about the food and service, well he or she never bothered to see to their customers just told the server to give one complimentary drink when there were faults with all 4 meals. Only good thing was being able to use the app to pay. Wouldn't recommend this place its gone downhill in a big way.Whatever happened to looking after the customers especially when hardly any food was eaten and ended up in McDonald's afterwards and alot of wasted money.

Visited this Wetherspoons for the first time this evening. Sorry to say it was not a good experience. To order you had to stand in a line and wait to be called to the bar. This was even more strange as the bar is actually quite long. There was no atmosphere in the place we ordered food and it arrived to our table via a server calling out our table number. The plates were cold to the touch and the food was also cold on the plates. No members of staff asked if we had enjoyed our food. I have to say on Sunday I had a meal in the Wetherspoons in Halesowen and it was so much better than this. So I would recommend that you give the Abraham Darby a miss and go to another Wetherspoons pub locally and I can recommend the William Shenston in Halesowen for its food and service.

Toliets are disgusting! A member of staff came in to sign the checking sheet, used the facilities, looked in the mirror never washed his hands and then signed the sheet @ 16:25ish as clean! He never checked the toliet that was disgusting!

We came here after a bit of shopping it was curry night and I had the masala with 2 popadoms and barn bread,my wife had the steak both meals were good and the beer as well.

Called in for a quick drink before the cinema, really love the bar it looks stunning when you walk in. Didn't try the food but the cocktails were great!

We went to the wetherspoons expecting to be just decent food but nothing special, like the one we have near our home. When we got there we were surprised by the gorgeous outside area and the really friendly staff. Once we had ordered our food arrived quickly I had the BBQ chicken, bacon and cheese panini with chips and my partner had five bean chilli. The food was really nice and I couldn't fault anything. The chips though were absolutely gorgeous there were nice and crunchy on the outside but fluffy and soft on the inside. I will definitely be returning next time we visit merryhill.

Dropped in on a busy lunch time, tables could have been cleaner but service was very fast and good as usual. Do ask for the gluten free menu.

I'm disgusted , angry , asked to speak to the manager, told he's too busy , shame ..... shame on you. That's NOT what I expect from a national chain , it put me off my food. All I was thinking of was the state of that toilet. Just look very closely at the first photo #disgusting

Tucked away far from the food court this is a first class Wetherspoons,Nice interior and a large outdoor seating area.Usual JDW menu, friendly and attentive staff, far better value and atmosphere than a visit to the food court.

Absolutely ridiculous experience at Wetherspoons this morning... the Vegan Breakfast menu has no prices associated with it. The Manager didn't even know the difference between Vegetarian and Vegan, the server added a poached egg to my order even though I spent time educating them about what is and isn't Vegan.Instead of the smashed Avo bagel I got salmon and cream cheese. And no hash brows beans tomato and mushroom. Their till system is a mess. The Vegan Menu was nowhere to be seen untill someone retrieved it from the hiding place. Got correct food eventually although not hot, with a full refund after I stated more than once how woefully inadequate the service was. I would like to hear from the area Manager. Tried to call Customer Services which is non-existent.

We love going to any wetherspoons and always enjoy the food which again was very good last night, I had the chilli con carne and my husband had the three chicken feast which was very good well presented and came quickly, but one complaint we sat in the no smoking area, but sad to say there was one person close to us who was smoking, there are clear signs but he chose to ignore them, and even when the waitress cleared his table nothing was said to him even though the cigarette was clearly visible.

What a disappointment. Haven't been for a while and it's changed. Used to be the place to go for reasonably priced good food.Whilst it's still not bad I was underwhelmed by the New York Deli burger (my wife had the Empire State and was equally underwhelmed).However what has disappointed us the most was the app and how it works.In theory you order on the app and the food and drink arrive.What actually happened was we ordered and waited (timescale wasn't too bad) then the food arrived but no drinks.The server (who was lovely) returned stating there was a queue.At this point I pointed out the food was wrong I'd ordered an upgrade of 2 burgers on one bun.He took the plate away and swiftly returned with two burgers, so it must have just been rapidly slapped on (I'm not sure if there's a different on how it's put together if 2 burgers)My wife went in search of condiments as none were on the table or offered.I was asked if there was anything else we wanted and obviously replied our drinks please.After a while a second equally lovely server turned up with our drinks.My wife drinks coke with no ice or lemon (there's no comments field in the app firbthis sort of thing)There also are more ales on sale than it shows in the app.I asked for the feedback to be given to the manager and kind of expected some sort of conversation, clearly doesn't matter.My overall feedback was the food was alright but nothing special for almost £20 but don't use the app. Seriously.
