Slow and unprofessional on delivery services

One big burger, lots of options, good friendly service, bit pricey given you could have a sit down pub meal for the £10 I paid for the burger. Overall, if you want to sink your teeth into a big burger, you won't be disappointed.

It's expensive, but well worth it! Food is lovely. Staff are pleasant, polite and helpful. Shop was clean and tidy.

You ask for a small fries and get enough to feed a family of 6. Burgers are ace (Pricey though) and the drink fountain is a blessing. Want peach/grape Fanta? The drink fountain can provide.

Best burger you can buy in Merry Hill

Stopped by for a quick meal with my friends for my birthday. I liked the burger, fries and Oreo Milkshake that I had. I like that I can choose anything I want in my burger and milkshake without any extra cost. Also we had nuts there for free!

Kerry was an outstanding member of staff that went above and beyond in caring to my food needs, even adjusting an order after I had said everything, and making my milkshake with extra love 😂 Overall fantastic service, great food, can't wait to come back ❤️

Food was lovely, but it was definitely very expensive for what it is. The place was empty, and the service from the lady on the till wasn't great. In my honest opinion, I won't be in any hurry to return

Heard good things about five guys so i thought I'd give it a go to say i was disappointed is a massive understatement . Burger was a grease ball so oily and slimey No flavour or seasoning, Milkshake overpriced for what it is it had no flavour to it it at all fries tasted like cardboard. When I got home my stomach was aching. I had food poisoning so deffinately won't be returning. Thankyou for the stomach ache five guys

Kerry-Anne who served us was really lovely, attentive and polite and the best person for front of house. She told me it was her first day/week so this review is for her! I work in food retail too so I know how tough it can get. Keep up the good work Kerry-Anne 👏🏻 Food was great, so many chips in fact too many 😂 I had the hotdog for the first time it was nice but the burger is more filling. One mark off the atmosphere section as the music was far too loud.

Well after being convinced to go here I thought I'd give it a go. Walked in and lots of staff behind the counter but apparently no one available to clear the tables. Burgers nothing special but cost £12 each! Wow how can you justify that? 'large' fries served in a cup. If that's large I dread to see a small. After a long wait finally got what I thought would be the best burger of my life to be given it in a bag. I was eating in. Seriously do not know how people can afford to eat here. Ridiculous!

The milkshakes used to be amazing!.... Tried a Mango summer one and it was basically a vanilla milkshake with a very very feint mango flavour. As it was a summer guest one I gave them the benefit of the doubt and got my usual of salted caramel. But again it was basically vanilla with a tiny hint of salted caramel flavour. If this is the new normal for their milkshakes then I won't be buying ever again as they're not worth the money. Don't mind paying more for the old quality but not this new standard.

Closed at 7pm when its own website says it will be open. Mindless

Visited today was served by assistant manager Neil, very helpful & welcoming & will definitely visiting again. Food filled us both up & my other half isn't a five guys virgin anymore 😂 he said that it was the best burger he has ever tasted 😁

10/10 everytime!! The staff are always so welcoming and friendly and will go that extra mile! They are always smiling and theres always a lovely atmosphere. My old collie dog whose time is precious also loves a five guys and the team never fails to make him happy with his own little box. Thank you for your kindness and awesome food!

Good service, very polite staff. Burger was cooked and constructed well, fries were crispy outside and fluffy inside. Can't fault it really.

In door five guys on 1st floor complex great food great service was quite at the time I went 6pm

Brunette male server working until 7pm (apparently) on Saturday 22nd March 2024 was stupendously rude towards anyone walking in the door from 7pm onwards. Five guys clearly close at 7 as we now know- but this is neither on their shop front displayed anywhere or online- which currently says open until 9. Shouted across the whole restaurant aggressively in front of all the customers dining in “we’re closed mate”. We literally swivelled on the spot and walked off because he was so rude in his tone- he sounded like he wanted to spit on us. As we were leaving a mother with a small child came to the front- “we’re closed” was his classic response. She replied saying that she had seen the website had said they are open til 9pm, and he shouted (again in front of all the diners and staff) calling across the room to the doorway- “well the websites wrong then, isn’t it?”. I don’t care what your job is, how many times you’re asked or if you think you’re paid enough. You earn a wage in exchange for some level of customer service- your employers should be disgusted that this is how their staff treat customers wanting to purchase from them. This guy needs sacking. Good job, ‘mate’. 👍

After visiting five guys once before, I thought id try it again. This is a premium burger restaurant, that comes with a premium price. The burger was a double cheese burger with ketchup and fried onion. I couldnt fault the meal it was perfect. I took a star off because of the price. £20.05 is an expensive for a burger, but it is nice.

Is it called Five Guys because that's how many of them are stood round doing nothing? Food was decent enough but the cost is ridiculous! Nearly £11 for a small burger. I'll be avoiding in the future.

The food is consistently lovely at this five guys, not cheap but is definitely worth every penny and if you love all the extras on your burger then it does make it better value for money whereas I only have 2 toppings.

Every time I go to Merryhill I like to make a b-line for Five Guys. There was a little wait for the food, but it is worth it. Yes it is pricey but you get what you pay for. Me and the missus both enjoyed our meals. If you've never been before, give it ago at least once.

Everything is cooked to order so its hot and fresh . You can customise your order to your own taste. Very filling, a grown-up version of maccies.

Visited here for lunch on a busy Saturday, with my family . The staff are so extremely helpful, my mum and sister both use wheelchairs so the staff did table service for us. By far the best service and the food so very good, our order was slightly wrong and this was rectified straight away. Would return 10/10.

Great scran but didn't expect mushrooms on me burger with the all the way option. Wouldn't recommend that if you don't like mushrooms and a dog piled burger.

The food Is as always, very good the staff is friendly. Still the best cheeseburgers. I definitely recommend if you are in the area.

Being newly diagnosed as Coeliac, I was delighted that my first experience from diagnosis was very easy, because I do love a Five Guys. A lovely young man named Connor went through everything with me and made me feel like it wasn’t a chore for him. As usual my food was great, and I left a happy bunny 😊

Had a five guys today (Dudley) by far best food I’ve had in ages and will be definitely going back without a doubt! You pay for what you get brilliant customer service very friendly and patient if you don’t know what you want, fresh hot food which was spot on and also a very nice clean place to sit and eat very happy with everything thank you Dudley team!

Awful!! I went for an authentic hot dog as I supposed. I got a weener that you can get in a can of 8 from Tesco, cut in half and refried to warm it in a hot dog roll also from a pack if 8 from Tesco.. and this cost £6.50 also £5 for a Coke. No music, no atmosphere.. not again thank you. A huge disappointment! NOT RECOMMEND!!!⁹

First time ever in a Five Guys. Food amazing especially the chips. The burger was superb too. Massive portions and all fresh unlike other fast food chains. Milk shakes amazing also. Very clean eatery and staff were so friendly and helpful. Definitely going again.

Says it’s open until 9 but wouldn’t take our order at 7.18pm!!! Waste of time

We visited after work on a Thursday evening and honestly it feels so nice when after a long day you get such a great service and a big smile. Credits to Neil who served us and all the team. The place was clean and tidy - and the burgers great as always!

Expensive but milkshake excellent

It's a good burger nothing more nothing less. Flavours go well together and the meat is cooked properly. Just think it's too expensive for what it is. Service was great however.

1st time in 5 Guys. Food very good service great. However over £17 for burger, chips and a drink so it's good but only for special occasions Well been a second time as Mac Donald's was heaving. I didn't have a burger but my husband loved his, the chips were lovely and lots of them. I had a lotus blossom milk shake which was delicious. Will Deffo go back as I have to try more of the milk shakes. Place was buzzing but service was spot on.

Exceptional service from Connor T, visited on a busy Monday afternoon with my son & was cheerfully greeted by Connor, he consolidated my disappointment of the discontinued Malted milk milkshake & recommended the Reese flavour, I instantly found a new favourite. Connor was patient, welcoming, attentive, eager to please & made my son smile, a rare occasion when visiting fast food restaurants. Thank you Connor 😊

Update your opening times. 9pm closing on a Sunday is not true as we turned up at 6pm after having nothing to eat all day and you were shut.

Quite expensive, the food I had was very overpriced, a burger bun with cheese melted in it, really doesn't warrant it's £4.65 price! The hot dog again that was had by my daughter should of been £5, not £7.15! Lady on till was very polite and friendly, so well done to her but I would not eat here again. The tables had not been cleaned and there was lots of previous food spillages under ours.

The experience wasn't too bad jus that the fries were disappointing and over fried and extremely salty even though we asked for no salt or seasoning.

States that the restaurant is open till 10pm. After arriving at 9:15pm they tell us they are closed. They then explain that they are only open for delivery. It was a waste of a journey and waste of petrol since I had to drive to get there. We literally wanted to order to take out which would essentially save time for them as delivery would be a hassle. They could have served us this time round and let us know that they close at 9pm in the future. Very disappointed in the service provided.

Great burgers that you can customise . Wasnt asked if we wanted salt or no salt on fries there was mountains of salt on them . Expensive but you pay for what you get .burgers are banging ,well done five guys .. it was very ,very busy lots of staff but only seemed to be one putting burger orfers together resulting in longer waiting and cooler food. Popped in for a milk shake as I had hear how good they here and I was not disappointed. Chocolate milk shake with cream was delicious although a little pricey. Staff were lovely and engaging.

Gotta love 5 guys, mainly because it is literally the only place that I can eat with my family. 2 of us have coeliac disease and we have not found anywhere else that can offer us something to eat that doesn't cause a flare up. C'mon 5 guys, get that gluten free burger on the menu!

Ordered food and waited 1 hour to be told we don’t have a driver to deliver. So now I have two hungry children to feed after wasting an hour waiting for these over priced burgers. Go maccies cheaper and better service

It's a good burger, but it costs 2-3 times as much as McD. Is it twice as good? No. Even the 'little' fries is a huge portion but again, not twice as good for the price. Also a tiny bit overcooked (even slightly bitter). And I'm not paying £4.15 for a 500ml soft drink (refillable or not), when it's 75p/litre in any supermarket. Free peanuts, wow. Service is really polite, but gets very slow with big delivery orders in the queue ahead of you. Nearly £15 for 1 burger and a drink, in that no-frills setting, is incredibly expensive.
