Always a great ambience with tasty food! Had the afternoon tea today and very pleased with the selection of treats and quality.

Came here for a carvery with friends at lunchtime was greeted by a very friendly gentleman who was very helpful throughout, food was lovely and hot and meat was very tender, all staff were polite, I had cherry pie for desert which was delicious will definitely be returning

Just returned after an excellent carvery. Time of visit: Tuesday 12:30 Atmosphere: Surprisingly quiet (I would say 'calm'!) with an excellent music playlist filling in the background. The dining area is large enough to ensure each table has plenty of room. (This place is much busier at weekends.) Drinks: Good selection and reasonably priced. Food: (Carvery for us.) All of the food was prepared and cooked to perfection. Maybe the 'pigs in blankets' were a slightly expensive extra but we all thoroughly enjoyed our meals. It is fair to say that just commenting on the carvery does not do justice to the full menu. There is a broad selection available here including a full tandoori mixed grill. Desserts: Decent selection. Two of us opted for the cherry pie & custard which was beautifully presented (see photo). Service: Our hosts could not have been more pleasant and were very friendly. We all commented on how comfortable & welcome we felt. We will all be returning.

As a gluten intolerant person I'm very wary of eating out but decided to give koyla kitchen carvery a try. We were asked straight away by the staff if anyone in the group had any allergies and when I replied yes the server said that the chef would be made aware of this. When we went up to the carvery section the chef was very helpful. He explained not to risk eating the roast potatoes or the roast parsnips as they were cooked in the same oil as the food with wheat. He made me an individual portion of gf gravy and two gf Yorkshire puddings. Thank you for your care it was much appreciated.

Popped in for a meal around 6 months ago, never been before but have returned many times. Absolutely amazing food, slowly going through the menu- carvery, hanging kebab, tandoori grills & the best curry I've ever tasted. Sides are really good too, massla chips, cheesy naaan and poppadom basket. Well worth a visit in my opinion 👌

They do a great roast and have good menu options and also cater for vegetarians. It's well set up inside an open and spacious table seating plan.

Not very organised when ordering food, tells you they will be back then doesn't come. Someone else came over and told us our food was almost ready to be served but we wasn't waiting for anything, ordered carvery....sat us under a speaker with the music blaring to the point we couldn't even hear the server talk! Desserts are not worth the price for the amount you get! Portions were so small.

Well, this place is amazing excellent food, waiters are really nice, helpful and friendly. They have diffrent types of offer every day. The price is very good as well for four people. With the roast the turkey was on point and they gave a substantial amount which is nice. Really do suggest this place good for everyone.

Food it's great, pasta is the best staff are lovely we went for a birthday meal not long ago. However we have just received a parking fine for using there car park which has put us off going again :( shame as we have always enjoyed it and gone many times:(:(

Thought we would try it and to be be honest unlikely I would go back we booked a table to be told when we arrived there was no booking made but we had conformation and the vegetables were under cooked , staff a little pushy for your order ,

Koyla Kitchen is a lovely bar/restaurant with friendly staff and great food. We have been here a few times and never had a bad meal.

Popped in randomly after we couldn't get a table anywhere else. What a Gem. Such a good find, very unassuming on the outside but the inside is a beautiful rustic room and the music is great while you dine. The food is AMAZING especially the curries couldn't recommend enough especially for the price. The quality of the food is top notch. Service is great and the staff are really kind. 10/10

Come here quite often with my partner or family/ friends and it never fails to disappoint. We’ve had the carvery, food from the menu & the bottomless brunch and I’d recommended it all. The staff are always so helpful and friendly. It’s good value for money and the food is perfect. Thank you so much for always making us feel so welcome. Just had a fabulous meal here. All adults went for sizzlers and curries. Very busy being father's day but staff were friendly and helpful. A special shout out to our waitress Agnes who made our visit special

What a gem of a place to meet , eat, sip cocktails and you can even watch sports on the t.v. in the bar. The food here is beautiful.. ranges from carvery to Indian sizzlers. The staff a friendly and go out of their way to make sure you have everything you need. It is cheaper to have the bottle of wine rather than a couple of glasses. The draught beer is also at a very good price.

We went to the Koyla Kitchen for a bottomless brunch. The manager and bar staff were excellent, always on hand to order our next drink. My wife is also very picky with her food, but she ordered the hanging chicken tikka kebab, well done, and it was cooked to perfection. The chef even came out to check how she wanted it. Overall, fantastic service and great food and cocktails!

Been here a few times first time took a while to get served and assumed it was just busy but food was nice. Went back again and there was a birthday table with about 20 people which staff prioritised as if no one else in the restaurant was there. Had to call someone to get drinks order taken after about 30 minutes of sitting there, eventually got a drink after 50 minutes, drank half the drink and staff asking if we wanted more drinks when food wasn’t even half done. Took hour and 10 minutes for food to be served, nice food as always but by time it was served didn’t really feel the meal. Still bringing that drunk table drink after drink ignoring everyone else, visibly see every other person annoyed at slow serves despite that table getting desserts and drinks every 2 minutes. Obnoxiously loud but staff never told that group. When we finally wanted the bill the staff seemed shocked and asked if we didn’t want more drinks or desserts…. It was almost 2 hours by the time we had arrived and actually finished food. It’s the last time we will go again. Gets worse every time.

We had a bottomless brunch here for my birthday, the staff was fantastic and the drinks kept coming. This is a brilliant place to drink and eat.

Amazing staff and management, very helpful and happy, service with a smile. The food was 10/10 compliments to the chef. We received a complimentary bottle of red wine with our meals too. Clean and tidy. Toilets were immaculate. Will definitely be visiting again. Excellent prices. Thank you all.

We visited today for the first time and had a really lovely time. The lady who greeted us was so friendly (I wish I remembered her name). We have a couple of allergies and she was so great with dealing with them. My husband, and children had a carvery each, my mum and I had a curry with naan and rice. The carvery was lovely & again the person serving was really clear and thorough with allergies and really friendly with my daughter. The curry’s were amazing. I had the butter milk chicken and I genuinely think it was one of the best curry’s I’ve had in a really long time. The naan was so fresh & clearly home made. We will be back & I can’t wait to try another curry. Thank you very much.

food excellent. Delivery not so good. Gravy pots damaged most of the gravy was in the carrier bag.All containers covered in gravy. Hardly gave enough time to answer door looked as if he was going to leave at the side of the house. Can provide photos if necessary.

Attended for a family birthday celebration. Food was really great and the service was even better. Between us we sampled something from most sections of the mains menu. Everyone really enjoyed it. Great choice, great value.

We have just visited the Koyla Kitchen for a Sunday Carvery. We haven’t been for quite a few years now but we will certainly be returning very soon. All staff were friendly and very helpful. The food was excellent, good sized portions of meat and all the trimmings and plenty of freshly cooked vegetables. A variety of accompaniments and 2 choices of gravy. Delicious! The whole meal represented excellent value for money. Thank you.

Curry was awful...one of our party had the hanging kebab which looked lovely and she said it was.

Went for lunch and then returned for dinner! Was recommended by our hotel. Delighted to find a place that has everything I’d want on a menu…Indian, burgers, fish n chips…you name it. Friendly service and worthingtons beer.

Bottomless brunch here is by far the best in the area! Great quick service, great food options and fun and friendly atmosphere. Very reasonable prices for what you can have in the time slot. Biggest cocktail menu which includes mocktails/soft drinks and beer. Big shoutout to Russ for ensuring we have the best time and nothing too much trouble x

My recent visit to Koyla Kitchen left much to be desired. Despite the enticing exterior, the experience fell short of expectations. Upon entering, I was promised a short wait of 5 to 10 minutes for my order, but it stretched into an agonising 35-minute ordeal. This delay not only disrupted my lunch plans but also inconvenienced my colleague, whom I was supposed to bring food for. The lack of coordination among staff members was evident as my order was repeatedly delayed, with no clear explanation provided. The final straw was when, after a lengthy wait, I was instructed to queue again for the carvery section, only to be met with further confusion and delay. Frustrated and hungry, I ultimately decided to abandon my order and request a refund. The disorganisation and inefficiency marred what could have been a pleasant dining experience. Needless to say, I left empty-handed and deeply disappointed.

Had an amazing night at Koyla kitchen for my 50th birthday. Great atmosphere and amazing staff. Food was delicious, but the cocktails, omg...... they we're amazing. Strongly reccomend the frozen strawberry daiquiri. We all had to order a taxi home 🥳🎂🔥🥰 Thanks Koyla Kitchen

I usually love the Carvery from here, but I was disappointed tonight. I requested Turkey and Gammon but got no Gammon. No Stuffing balls either. And none of it was warm, not even the Gravy. 😢 Hoping this was a one off.

Never had any trouble with the food, always very tasty, friendly staff, average prices, dog friendly. Once we were starving, coming back from a holiday with a dog: we got lovely spot in the outside area, all staff very nice approaching my dog: which she loved! The other time I took a girl that hardly spoke any English. Staff still nice and friendly, not discriminating, they went extra mile to give her good meal just cuz she was visiting so she has good good impression and memories of England and English food. Highly recommend! Lovely food, relatively big portions.

First time at the Koyla Kitchen was recommended and I can say we truly enjoyed our steaks, they were good cuts and the children's burgers were also very nice will definitely return and recommend we also had some lovely coconut mojito cocktails, atmosphere I rated as a four because I couldve enjoyed my meal a lot more if I could here the good selection of music playing but I couldn't, it was loud enough but neighboring tables were just louder as so close by. also it was so cold in the restaurant tonight tables near by all had coats on my son uncomfortably ate with his coat on as a result of no heating on.

Had a great family meal for my dads birthday. Food was great, prices were good, however the best thing was the service. The lady serving us (I was told her name was Agnes) was fantastic. Pleasant, helpful and even brought my dad a birthday treat. She was a credit to the Koyla Kitchen. We will definitely be going back.

My daughter booked us here for a family meal today 4th February for my upcoming birthday on the 6th, we had meals for 7 adults & 5 children, lovely clean place everything was wonderful realy enjoyed the food had a very lovely and friendly waitress.. couldn't fault the food or the service.The manager came and spoke to us at the table which I thought was a lovely touch. Never been before but we will definitely be back. Thank you for making our family meal one to enjoy.😀

Went for food yesterday, the staff are wonderful, accommodating and friendly. I had a cavery whilst the rest of the party had the Indian grill. I didn't rate the carvery, the meat was fatty and dry but they arent known for carvarys it isnt their specialty the parsnips were lovely, I filled my plate with them. I think they have honey on them. From what I saw of the grill it looked nice, it was reasonably priced and you have the option for a refillable drink.

order 2 carverys, meat and a vegetarian with quorn meat. the vegetarian roast was missing the quorn meat and the roast parsnips are just tiny pieces of parsnips. wouldnt use again for a roast

Good value for money and plenty of food. the only comment I have is that it would be nice if the vegetables were separate and not all mixed together with the smashed potato. but it is great value and tastes great.

had recommendations to try here so I did! wasn't up to standards if I'm honest! nan bread is more like a flat wrap, not much meat in the curry, mainly sauce. salt n pepper chips we're horrible and dry and poppadoms we're all broken up to get in the packet. salad if you can call a few leaves was warm and sloppy and I haven't a clue what the green sauce was! only decent food was the spring roll and samosa!

Visiting from Yorkshire and remembered our last visit was great. Superb roast carvery tonight. Great choice of vegetable, fresh and crunchy. Beef, ham and turkey...I had all 3 😁. Visited with my Mother. I have to mention not only the food, but the relaxed atmosphere, great music and so clean. The staff are so friendly and attentive, and genuinely pleased to welcome you. My family dine here regularly but as I live in Yorkshire, I can only enjoy on my trips south. Really happy to recommend ..a must try!

Dined at lunchtime. Chose the carvery, and so pleased we did. It was fresh, hot and very tasty with plenty of choice. The meat was plentiful with 3 meats to choose from and ample portions. Lots of good, healthy vegetables ..cooked al dente Doing my review today because, I am planning another visit tonight, and remembered that I forgot to review, last time. Lovely venue, immaculately clean and the staff are super accommodating and friendly. Let's see what my next visit will be like.

What a refreshing change, Christmas dinner carvery was very good and the starters were exceptional and Christmas pudding delightful. Service was just as good with very polite staff.

My family celebrated Christmas Day at the koyla this year and the food was amazing. The staff went above and beyond to make the day special for everyone. Wouldn’t even consider going anywhere else again:)

We were served by Abi, who welcomed us with a friendly manner. She was informative, polite and made our experience fantastic. The venue was clean and had a relaxing aroma. Our food came our quickly even though there were multiple larger groups. This was our first time and we will defo be coming back.

We had our Veterinary Practice Christmas party here. From start to finish, the staff were amazing. Very attentive and made the staff feel welcomed. The food was 1st class, the 3 course meal was brought out in a timely manner (even though there was 30 of us), the cocktails were delicious and flowed freely. Cannot praise them enough for making sure the team has an excellent evening.

I booked a table here on December 12th 2023 for my son’s birthday. The two young ladies on shift were very professional. Food was amazing as usual my only gripe would be because it was a week day it was absolutely freezing in the restaurant. We all joked shall we get our blanket out the car to warm up! I know it was a week day but when your spending a considerable amount of money in just hour and half I think it’s important that your sitted guests are comfortable and content. Although we enjoyed our meals we couldn’t wait to get out as we were so cold! Such a shame really as we would have stayed longer and spent more money!

Enjoyed an afternoon tea here on a voucher. It was good. 4 different sandwiches, a small but tasty scone, Victoria sponge, and several small cake bites. The service from the young lady assistant was great, such a pleasant personality, and happy to offer alternative drinks, which she kept topped up. Not too many diners this Wednesday lunchtime, but at least we could hold a conversation and hear each other. I had eaten a carvery here but that was before Covid. This experience has put it back on my radar. The Christmas tree and decorations were lovely.

Another great evening at the Koyla kitchen food was great and service impeccable. Staff are always friendly. Head chef came out to chat with us about the meal which was a nice touch. Owner made sure we had the perfect evening. Thanks everyone at Koylas see you all again.

A great meal on Thursday ,The carvery was spot on ,Fresh vegetables ,I had Turkey with wife had Beef both were perfectly cooked ,The waitress could not do enough she was perfect .We had a free coffee and tea after our meal which was a lovely surprise .Well done to the Koyla kitchen staff for a perfect lunch .
