Visited here today for my daughters birthday, she'd been her before and for her 11th birthday wanted to come again. My youngest wanted a pizza, that wasn't on the menu today but but our server pushed for her to get that pizza and she did get it. We had to wait a while as it was very busy but the food was more than worth rhe wait. Just want to say a HUGE thank you to the lady who served us, her name was jade, she was down to earth, kept checking on us and made a fuss of the kids. It's very rare in this day to find someone in food retail to take notice and go beyond. Will definitely be visiting again ☺

All round one of the best places that I've been to for food. The staff are so friendly. All you have to do is just ask and it's done. I would definitely recommend 💯 .

Really friendly and welcoming place, plenty of variety and good quality food.

Very large pub. Loads of parking and the food area is big and can accommodate large groups and lots of people. The place is clean and well kept. Pint of Guinness was ok. Food was terrible however. The mix grill had the same seasoning and coating as every other piece on the grill which was disappointing. The curries were awful the spices weren't cooked properly and it was so overbearing with masala. Would recommend coming here for drinks but not the food.

Tandoori mixed grill is mega Hanging chicken tikka kebab is also amazing Service is superb. They really know how to look after a large party booking.

I was just one person in a party of 30 plus, and although we had to wait a short while for our food, the staff kept coming to the tables to ensure we were ok and to apologise for the delay. They provided poppadoms and sauces free of charge while we waited for our food. I had the carvery (there was no delay with carvery, I just waited till everyone got served) where there was a choice of three meats and a large selection of vegetables. All the food was hot. My husband had a steak which was cooked to perfection. All in all, it was a lovely night for my Grandsons 18th birthday and I wouldn’t hesitate to book there again. I would definitely recommend The Koyla Kitchen.

It's just great. Food is always fantastic especially the steak. The team are perfect. We went twice this month. Once with all the family then back for valentines. We had left something the first time and the waitress kept it for us.

First time at Koyla Kitchen - will definitely be visiting again. Delicious fresh food, piping hot, reasonably priced, pleasant and friendly staff, clean and tidy. Will be recommending to friends and family - there’s not many places that cater for a wide range of tastes, and the food still be decent and fresh!

came for a birthday, everything was excellent, well definitely come back.

I have visited this restaurant twice now. The first time was with a party of 8 & it took almost an hour for our food to arrive. Second time there was only 2 of us & the food took 45 mins for 2 curries & 2 naan breads to arrive. The restaurant wasn't even busy on both occasions. They either need more staff in the kitchen or need to work on their meal prep. Every other restaurant can get food out within 20mins. I can even get a takeaway delivered to my door on a busy Saturday night within 30mins. Won't be coming back which is a real shame as the food is delicious but the service tarnishes the overall experience

Stunning food great service. Can't wait to go again. 1st July they have a singer as well. What more can you ask for. 5 starts not enough. Just been and my god it's gone down. OK service. No atmosphere Food quality not a patch on first visit Bring back Boots Will not rush back. So disappointed 😞

It was a little delayed with service but it was busy and was new years eve so we understood. Grace was our server and was lovely We love coming here. Good food and good value!

Visited this place yesterday with my work colleagues for our Christmas lunch. What can I say, I was last in, and on entering after having a cigarette, entered the front entrance into what seemed to be the ghost bar as totally empty and unmanned, I then followed through another glass door into the reception/greeting area in the restaurant which was also unmanned, had to search to find my colleagues, who advised table service was requested but took 30 min for anyone to even come to the table to take a drinks and food order. Then my friend had to go to the bar after another 10 min to find out how the carvery was served to the table or collected and came back with tokens that looked like old poker chips and advised to stand in the que for what turned out to be a warm carvery, which I have to say included what looked like Aunt Bessie's frozen Yorkshire pudd and stuffing balls that looked so case hardened and if thrown could quite easily take someone's eye out. Thus the rating if I could give a zero I would, food not good, service was slow to none existent, atmosphere none existent. Would I use this place again?, :I would rather take a soapy shower with Jimmy Saville, Gary Glitter and Rolf Harris at the same time or have my toenails pulled out without anaesthetic.

Burger bread was soggy and beef burger was rock hard, could bonce of wall. Won't be ordering again from here. Disappointed

I ordered fish and chips but everything in my order was cold and overcooked. First time ordering from Kayla Kitchen and it will be the last.

I know people go carvery at lunch but the main menu is outstanding the sizzler and hanging kebabs are awesome .the main man who sorts you out is very attentive and on the case Andy and Deb

We came for carveri the meat was very tasty, roaste potato and Yorkshire pudding from frozen, broccoli tasteless at all, cauliflower cheese It was not too bad, mash potato not tasty like a powder taste. But everything was warm. We'll never go there for carveri again.

Waited half hour for the carvery even tho it says 12 till 8pm we got there at 6pm and when we did get it it was all frozen veg mash was disgusting and gravy had no flavor at all won't be coming back again

Great place. The soya mixed grill is delicious, as well as the salt and pepper chips! I ate everything offered . I waddled out full and happy! They even offer vegan naan.

Been twice in recent weeks. Had a curry first time. Mmmmm. Carvery today.mmmm Nice and clean. Staff friendly and very polite . Nice tunes in the back ground. Had a few beers in the bar before the food.was empty as we were quite early. But clean and tidy. And reasonably priced beers.

Please was empty. Took 10 mins before we were seated. Server took a drinks order of 2 drinks and got both wrong. Went to get carvery after waiting 20 mins for someone to serve it and everything was stone cold. Place had only been open and hour.

Our food was exceptionally good. Fantastic value for money and absolutely delicious. Several members of our family are 'fussy' eaters and everyone of us had food that we thoroughly enjoyed and cleared our plates. The staff were extremely helpful and very friendly. We will definitely eat here again.

I can’t comment on the atmosphere as I order via Uber eats but from the burgers to the carvery’s everything is exceptional my go to. Recommend Carvery Peri peri chicken burger with fries

What can I say, the food was exceptionally good value for money. Delicious, generous and absolutely full of flavour. The staff were friendly, polite and made us feel very welcome. We will definitely be eating here again, without a shadow of a doubt.

I always feel bad when I have something negative to say, but my food wasn't warm at all. This wouldn't have bothered me if I owned a microwave, but you'd still like it to ideally be hot on arrival regardless. Despite the issue, food quality was decent, loads of it. Had to make my own Gravy as the pot that came was cold and gone to jelly. It's a shame as had some lovely experiences from here, but seems to have gone downhill, sorry to say.

Friendly welcome on arrival the staff all polite clean and spacious fantastic food always leave satisfied good value 😀 and family friendly service above and beyond always love to visit for a lunch hope to see you soon koala kitchen 👍

The last time we visited this place was during the Eat Out To Help Out and we were very impressed with the food and atmosphere, however this time was a little bit disappointing. We felt a bit rushed to order, even though it was completely empty. Poppadoms came out, full of grease. The dips were ok though apart from the mint yoghurt one. We shared a Sizzler For Two between us and that was the most disappointing thing for me which was such a shame. There were 4-5 different things on the sizzler, yet everything tasted exactly the same. We also had a Tikka sauce and Madras sauce which tasted exactly like a jar curry sauce, convinced both sauces were from a Pataks Jar.

Large restaurant selling 4 meat carvery and Indian food. We opted for carvery this Sunday which was well cooked with seven vegetables. Good value for money. Lots of staff. Would go again and try the Indian food which looked delicious. We had a table of five, large free car park. Respectable toilets, disabled entrance.

Food was good but the bar was very noisy would go again but would sit away from the bar

When I come to visit my Daughter and husband who live near here we always come here for a meal I particularly enjoy the tandoori fish starter which I always have as my starter a young lady wearing black took our drinks order and our starter and mains order,the plates were bought out by a different young “lady” who was wearing a white top my plate was not clean ,so I said excuse me but could I have a clean plate please on returning she slapped this in front of me with the words here I hope this ones clean enough for you,with a bad intonation as if giving me a clean plate was an annoyance,how rude,this somewhat flattened the evening,the food was fine as always but,if this is going to be the attitude we face,I question if we will be back,

Indi and the rest of the great team looked after 29 guests of ours and delivered lovely food (thanks Abdul) I highly recommend giving it a try.

First time visit and very impressed with this place. Spacious and well furnished inside. We were at an extended family gathering of around 30 people. We were well looked after by the very helpful staff. Food was very tasty indeed and served hot. Would have no issues in recommending this place for either just a drink or a large celebration.

Our second time visiting the restaurant and we were not disappointed, lovely warm welcome from the manager, sister and the staff and friendly banter. Carvery was refreshed with lovely vegetables and meat prior to three of our party going up whilst myself and my dad ordered a really tasty curry. Came here for a carvery with friends at lunchtime was greeted by a very friendly gentleman who was very helpful throughout, food was lovely and hot and meat was very tender, all staff were polite, I had cherry pie for desert which was delicious will definitely be returning

Just returned after an excellent carvery. Time of visit: Tuesday 12:30 Atmosphere: Surprisingly quiet (I would say 'calm'!) with an excellent music playlist filling in the background. The dining area is large enough to ensure each table has plenty of room. (This place is much busier at weekends.) Drinks: Good selection and reasonably priced. Food: (Carvery for us.) All of the food was prepared and cooked to perfection. Maybe the 'pigs in blankets' were a slightly expensive extra but we all thoroughly enjoyed our meals. It is fair to say that just commenting on the carvery does not do justice to the full menu. There is a broad selection available here including a full tandoori mixed grill. Desserts: Decent selection. Two of us opted for the cherry pie & custard which was beautifully presented (see photo). Service: Our hosts could not have been more pleasant and were very friendly. We all commented on how comfortable & welcome we felt. We will all be returning.

As a gluten intolerant person I'm very wary of eating out but decided to give koyla kitchen carvery a try. We were asked straight away by the staff if anyone in the group had any allergies and when I replied yes the server said that the chef would be made aware of this. When we went up to the carvery section the chef was very helpful. He explained not to risk eating the roast potatoes or the roast parsnips as they were cooked in the same oil as the food with wheat. He made me an individual portion of gf gravy and two gf Yorkshire puddings. Thank you for your care it was much appreciated.

Have not been to Koyla for a while and decided to go there for Sunday lunch as when we used to go when we were local it was great! we drove 40 minutes to get there for a family Sunday lunch, i am not sure on the other food there now but the roast dinners were awful not edible meat was fry and the potatoes looked like there we left there for days on end, gray was so tick it looked like jelly, we had our bill which was just over £40 pound for 2 carvery's and a child's one and three drinks, i then stated that the food wasn't up to scratch and all i got was ill pass on your comments. there is some lovely places in Sturbridge that do roast dinners albeit a little more expensive, certainly get what you pay for there.

Popped in for a meal around 6 months ago, never been before but have returned many times. Absolutely amazing food, slowly going through the menu- carvery, hanging kebab, tandoori grills & the best curry I've ever tasted. Sides are really good too, massla chips, cheesy naaan and poppadom basket. Well worth a visit in my opinion 👌

They do a great roast and have good menu options and also cater for vegetarians. It's well set up inside an open and spacious table seating plan.

Not very organised when ordering food, tells you they will be back then doesn't come. Someone else came over and told us our food was almost ready to be served but we wasn't waiting for anything, ordered carvery....sat us under a speaker with the music blaring to the point we couldn't even hear the server talk! Desserts are not worth the price for the amount you get! Portions were so small.

Well, this place is amazing excellent food, waiters are really nice, helpful and friendly. They have diffrent types of offer every day. The price is very good as well for four people. With the roast the turkey was on point and they gave a substantial amount which is nice. Really do suggest this place good for everyone.

Another lovely meal at The Koyla , treated our friend to lunch - as always great service, our meal choices never disappoint - the carvery was a hit with our friend , another perfectly cooked steak and a new choice of the hanging kebab - oh my - this was epic - we bought half of it home - love it here , always a super experience - see you soon !

Koyla Kitchen is a lovely bar/restaurant with friendly staff and great food. We have been here a few times and never had a bad meal.

Popped in randomly after we couldn't get a table anywhere else. What a Gem. Such a good find, very unassuming on the outside but the inside is a beautiful rustic room and the music is great while you dine. The food is AMAZING especially the curries couldn't recommend enough especially for the price. The quality of the food is top notch. Service is great and the staff are really kind. 10/10
