The food was very tasty,portions were generous and the gentleman who served us was polite and courteous. The sirloin steak was very tasty and the sides were fresh and piping hot.I would happily revisit this establishment.

service was excellent & helpful. Great food for portion size & quality. varied choice of meals that covers most tastes. It was certainly worth it. Nice atmosphere as well. Highly recommended

The customer service is appalling and we waited 1 hour just for simple deep fried starters, we weren’t given any plates and cutlery only until requested. One of the starters was frozen in the middle and not once did the waiter apologise for this. Waited another 45 mins for mains and was extremely underwhelmed. The drab decor and lack of customers really set a disappointing atmosphere.

Not far away from all the hustle n bustle of Ladypool Road, is this Steak House 'Eaterey' . Known by Yacub's Steak House situated in centre somewhere in Sparkbrook, B'ham. It was a typical wet n windy Monday (November) night where myself and better half wanted a quick bite to eat whilst we were visiting Birmingham for a couple of days. There was no particular desire for a specific type of cuisine between us as we've only managed to dump our luggage at our hotel in Walsall which wasn't too far of a distance to travel from. Anyway we fancied STEAK for a change and lo and behold google pointed us to Yacub's. After a brief phone convo to enquire about booking & reservation + parking, we arrived to be greeted by a very pleased member of staff who showed us to our table at the centre of the restaurant. The place was literally deserted but that's not a negative aspect of our observation at that given time. Come on, it was a late Monday evening and we'd suspected it was busy earlier in the night and we probably were the last to walk in and ask for a table. Nonetheless our waiter " Khurum " was an excellent host as he introduced himself as the proud owners son. His pleasantries did stand out as being exceptional for due care and attention to detail in his overall mannerism. I opted for the Rib Eye Steak, (Halal) cooked Med to Well done with two sides accompanied by my favourite rich helping of 'Peppercorn' sauce to drape the lovely piece of meat presented to me with all the additional trimmings. That wasn't all,..? Khurum, was in a jolly giving mood and took us by surprise by way of a kind gesture provided extras (sides) & Sauces / gravy to sample as well to what we had already. What could we SAY... roll on the Steak.; as it appeared, so appealing well cooked,... mmmm juicy tender, succulent piece after piece was devoured by myself!! Bravo.. to the Chef for cooking this piece of Rib Eye, and if I may hasten add a good size too. The verdict wasn't just very good as that would not be justice in any shape or form, it was Excellent 100% satisfactory and the lingering taste would leave me to ask myself when would be my next Steak Mission, or how soon? This place has got its act together as being a Steak House to be talked about for the right reasons amongst the locals who frequent it and for those who travel / passing through and stumble into Yacub's yearing for a delightful chunk of grilled mouthwatering piece of meat be it Sirloin, Rump or Rib Eye cooked with every bit of passion and pride to win your hearts over and fall in love with Yacub's Steak House and make it a regular eating venue with family friends and colleagues all of appreciate and indulge themselves into a " piece of meat to chew on " from time to time to satisfy their craving. Been waiting over an hour for food when other people who arrived after us are being served before us

Upon on arrival the manager was rude! Eventually we was seated even tho i rang them to book but was not "jotted down" the manager said. We waited nearly an hour to be seated then when we was it was nearly 30 mins until our order for drinks came! I ordered rib Eye steak which was over done when I try to send it back the waiter was so rude! My wife ordered the chicken which was rubbery & smelt funny! The meals are so expensive for what you get! Also to top it off I'm sure the one of the staff has been taking something but I might be wrong! Anyway I wont be coming here again its just truly unacceptable & I'm writing this review to save you the bother!

So I saw some reviews online for this steakhouse. The photos looked amazing and my wife has always bugged me about going out for a steak. Lol. This place didn’t disappoint. We booked in advance to reserve a table during the crazy Covid times.   Yaqubs is very Covid friendly and have arranged the tables with social distancing in mind following all government guidelines. It was relatively quite when we went but that was fine. Staff were good and orders were taken in a timely fashion.   The wife ordered some wings and a mocktail and I order some mozzarella sticks as our starters. Very tasty. The wings were soft and full of flavour. Cooked very well. For our mains, I had a Yaqubs ultimate burger (lots and lots of meat) and chips (with a side salad) whilst my wife went for a steak, mash and salad. Again, both meals were excellent. Went down a treat, so much so we didn’t have room for dessert! I have already booked my next trip there …

Booked by wife several days prior for anniversary dinner. Told to arrive at 2030 tonight. Arrived on time but told us no evidence of booking and told to leave and try 45 mins later. Complete joke. Could easily have not turned up as wife had headache but came as i know how it hits a business with no shows. Chap who tried to resolve matter agreed that we had probably made a booking but it was not jotted down but said no worker would admit to their mistake and could not accomodate Avoid like the plague. Very dissapointed as we had travelled far.

I came here last night with my partner, and I can honestly say the food was amazing! Staff very friendly, but the food was amazing. After looking around Birmingham for a good food place that didnt have a big que I was getting ready to go home and order pizza, but my partner found yaqub steakhouse so we thought we should give it a try it, I WAS AMAZED at how good the food was, the steak was cooked to perfection for both myself and my partner, and the sauce that comes with it was amazing. I'm a rice person so I judge rice a lot yaqub spicy rice wasnt spicy but was delicious will definitely be coming again. Ordered 2 sirloin steaks with mocktails and due to the government scheme we paid like £18 which made the food even better then it already is! In all honestly I would have paid full price the food it was good. Honesty it's a hidden gem and the food was top class.

The premises was unclean, food basic that anyone could cook at home 10x better. No eat out help out scheme given when they are a registered restaurant on the gov website. When questioned they said we haven’t had confirmation and we are telling customers but they did not make us aware of this when we entered. They were the only accepting 3 tables at a time so had to wait 45 mins initially and then as there was one waiter, he kept forgetting things and took another 20 mins after serving food to serve us our drinks which were sat on the side for the whole time until I mentioned it. Absolutely ridiculous prices, paid £82 (4 people)for basic food and waiting over an hour and crap service.

It was not brilliant but cannot say was to bad either. Price would say is ok for what we had as not the best, but it is edible food. Gravy, mash and chips not bad. Not big fan of the veg though. If you like steaks then great give it a go.

The first time I went was in 2015, it was great it was amazing, the lighting the atmosphere was all great. I went yday on a Friday, it was dull,empty poor lighting. Regarding the food the steak was nice, but the mash was awful. Really need to change it. The main downfall was the presentation, the food 3 years ago came in a wooden plate, was well presented and shows it's a good steak place. Yday they completely changed it into plastic plates, and presenation was awfull. Felt like eating in home plates. Why did u guys change? U need to bring back the wooden plates or sizzle plates, to present a proper steakhouse and that's what's missing.

I accidentally saw them and decideed to try once. It’s amazing! The food, mocktail and ice-cream were delicious. 4 stars recommended for huge size of steak, very wonderful mocktail, and fantastic starter.

What can I say, this place is amazing, steaks, burgers, starters, everything is so tasty, one of my favourite places to eat in Birmingham recently, service is great, friendly staff, great food, easy parking, will be visiting again very soon

Amazing service ! Huge step up from my previous time. Visited this past week and everything was spot on 110% recommend. Food and drinks are reasonably priced and it was a good experience. Thankyou will certainly return again good luck ! 👍

Visited this over the New Year period as we fancied a steak. The food and service was good. Not the best steak I've had, but overall a good experience.

I was recommended to try this place by a friend. The decor is nice very rustic. I had the Rib-eye and my friend had the fillet. The steaks came and they were average. I have not been since. That says It all.

La pared estaba sentado cerca estaba cubierto de manchas. En este punto deberíamos tener a la izquierda pero teníamos hambre y decidimos quedarnos. La comida llegó en una tabla de cortar de madera que era demasiado pequeña para todo lo que había pedido, así que una dificultad para comer sin que caían. El picante arroz nadar en petróleo. La salsa de hongos era extremadamente aguados y el filete de pollo estaba seco.

He visitado este restaurante (hoy día de mayo) sólo había 2 mesas, lo cual no es una buena señal. Nos sentamos por una señorita que no habla inglés en absoluto. Esto no me molestó un poco porque era muy servicial y amable. Pedimos entrantes / principales/sin alcohol.

Este restaurante tiene excelente carne. Todas las carnes son Halal. Esta es la tercera vez que he comido aquí, y nunca he tenido un mal bistec. Las parrillas son geniales. Cuando pida su bistec, decides tener preparados a su gusto, y los lados son geniales también. Puedes tener la comida sirven, 'estilo rústico', sobre tablas, pero como yo soy muy particular sobre higiene, quería todas nuestras comidas a ser plateados. La última visita, uno de mis miembros de la familia se servía su comida en una tabla agrietada. . . . No, no, no!

Fuimos a este restaurante por suerte. Estaba de compras en Stratford Road y hambre. La comida era increíble y exactamente lo que quería. Realmente filetes bien y el restaurante. La decoración era agradable. Precio razonable para 3 personas comiendo.

Un grupo de nosotros fuimos ayer por la tarde. El restaurante no estaba muy ocupado cuando llegamos. Servicio de interiores, pero no era el mejor. Las edades esperamos para las bebidas. Entrantes estaban bien. Platos principales también tardaban años en llegar y nos quedamos con los platos, tazas y cubiertos sucios de los aperitivos en la mesa por más de una hora. Algunos de los platos principales no estaban bien cocinadas y partes tenían que ser enviadas de vuelta. Uno de nuestro grupo pedimos hielo con una bebida y me dieron una placa de hielo. Algunas de las carnes eran bastante grasos y no estaban cocinadas a cómo lo pedimos. Mi principal era agradable (pollo). No volvería otra vez porque el servicio era demasiado lento, teniendo en cuenta que el restaurante no estaba tan lleno, y muchos problemas con la comida.

Me hicieron esperar 2 horas para mi comida y hasta que me pide que no nos daría ninguna comida. Los camareros eran groseros con nosotros y nos enfermó de la comida.

Este lugar fue recomendado por algunas personas que ya habían sido. No estoy seguro de qué tipo de alimentos estas personas comer pero deben tener expectativas muy pero que muy bajo porque el bistec no gusto/sabor alguno. El camarero nos corrió a fin no volver a tomar nuestra orden de bebidas. De arranque parecía superficial. Incluso no pudimos terminar nuestra entrada y nos trajeron los platos principales. La salsa especial es su bog salsa caliente estándar chili que ponen en la mesa, así que nada de especial. Sinceramente, no sé cómo la gente puede aún ir en una de la comida. Yo no recomendaría este lugar.

Que le den el beneficio de la duda y esperamos 10:00 pm pedimos una copa. Ahora es 10:30 no hay agua, no beber, no arranque, no hay comida. Luego fuimos a preguntar cuánto tiempo para una comida de shock! ! ! HORROR! ! ! NO SE HA PUESTO ORDEN! ! ! ! (Pedir) lista que no sé ni por qué estaban pensando que sólo fuimos allí para sentarse! ! ! ! Nadie vino a preguntar incluso están haciendo. Después de informar de un gerente dijo LO SIENTO POR ESO! ! ! ! ! Eso es todo. Visited last week - I was very disappointed with the visit here, firstly its so cold look at the time of the year and only one tiny radiator was available throughout the whole floor area, secondly the waitress with he blonde hair needs some customer service training, she never smiled once when serving the food, no interaction, I felt like saying to her that she is only getting paid because customers like us pay for the food and in return she gets her wages, I found her very rude! with regards to actual food, the steak was very hard to cut using the steak knife my initial thoughts were how the hell am I going to chew this let alone swallow, after a quarter way through I gave up!

Went quite late and they offered to keep the shop open for us. Ordered a steak burger and chicken steak which was beautifully cooked! Good value for money. Will definitely revisit yaqubs!

the experience was horrid. the service was bad, the drinks didnt come with my starter , the prawns were raw, the seabass was not grilled and the veg looked like they had been microwaved. all i wanted to do was go home..... and the table was cleaned while we were sitting there, totally horrid . the pics on website is a total lie , bland food and bland service. not going again everrrrrrrrrrrrrr!!

Peor lugar Iv comido. El lugar no estaba lleno, sin embargo esperamos 10 minutos para conseguir sentado, terminó encontrando una mesa y sentarse a nosotros mismos. No hay menús en la mesa y tuvimos que tomar de otra tabla vacía. 20 minutos después de sentarse y no reconocer los camareros nos llamó para pedir que dijo que iba a volver y no volver. Me levanté 10 minutos después de tomar a alguien a llevar la orden. Comida llegaba una hora más tarde después de preguntar repetidas veces. Pedimos comida de pic que podemos llevar a casa y cuando llegué a casa para comprobar la mayoría de faltaba! ! Absolutamente horrible servicio. No recomendaría en absoluto!

Visité aquí con amigos hace unos días. La comida que tuvimos fue muy decepcionante. Las fuente de parrilla era normal y los filetes que teníamos para nuestros platos principales fueron decepcionantes. En general, la comida era bastante soso, y parecía de baja calidad.

Fui allí por primera vez en mucho tiempo con un buen amigo que estaba de visita en la noche. Pedí el buffalo alitas de pollo barbacoa para empezar que eran tan sabrosos. Mi plato era el bistec con patatas fritas, cocinadas rara mazorcas de maíz y champiñones y salsa de queso azul. La presentación fue increíble, pero todo lo que puedo decir es que había silencio total mientras mi amigo y yo comimos. La carne era excepcional. Cocinado a la perfección y llena de sabor. Yo no quería la comida a mi postre fue el final sorpresa de chocolate yaqubs y realmente redondeada la comida. Tiras de chocolate brownie con helado, helado y salsa de chocolate? Compartimos un jarro de Coca Cola para beber y nos sorprendió gratamente que con nuestro descuento, la factura era apenas más de 40 libras! Tal relación calidad-precio excelente! Mal servicio, mala comida. Chef necesita realmente su juego y los camareros realmente necesitan aprender algunas etiqueta. We had king prawns and chicken wings as starters. The prawns were not King prawn and did not taste nice. The wings were average. The T bone steak was not as billed. The beef was not matured. It was tasteless.

Mi amigo y yo opté por un corte de carne con varios lados, tuve puré y verduras de temporada. Me gusta el bistec de tamaño raro y lo solicite para ser cocinados. Mi otro amigo pedimos un plato mixto a la parrilla. Todo iba bien hasta que llegó la comida. El plato a la parrilla mixta fue ampliamente consumido y mi carne era underwhelmingly media... no era el peor del mundo, pero era bastante sosa y la salsa el uso no era para alucinar. Mi amigo con la fuente quemada más malestar, pero somos demasiado reservados para decir nada. Me volvería a comer allí de nuevo, pero sin optar por una hamburguesa en lugar la próxima vez. El servicio fue bueno, la camarera podría haber sido más amable, pero nunca realmente ir a un lugar como este servicio de clase mundial esperaba. Las mesas eran un poco pequeños, donde nos sentamos, pero estoy seguro de que serán ajustados para acomodar sillas / ruedas.

Went with family ordered T bone steak asked the waiter for well done but the waiter recommended medium well done so we went for that the food arrive quite late and steak was raw blood was still coming out of the meat when i complained the waiter that took the order did not come instead they sent a waitress to deal with the complaint i was told that they serve traditional steak so it taste like that and it is on to serve it raw with blood , and took of one of the steak off the bill it was a waste of 33.75 , 90% of the food was not edible

No estoy demasiado seguro acerca de este lugar. Preciosa decoración pero primera impresión es la que cuenta y los menús estaban sucios, grasientos y pegajosas. No es un muy buen comienzo. Así que empezar con un café y los niños batidos. Los niños recibieron estas increíbles batidos! Todavía esperamos por mi café.

Fuimos a Yaqubs con la familia. La decoración era agradable. La comida estaba bien, nada espectacular. Tamaño de la porción era pequeña. Las pieles de patata estaban cargadas ridículo, una patata muy pequeña con todas su carne en aparte de una bola diminuta cuchara bebé de carne picada. No vale la pena. Bife de costilla era bueno, pero la salsa era insípido. Lados necesitaba aderezos.

Yo le daría 0/5 si pudiera. Entré y no había un camarero, esperamos 10 minutos en la puerta y luego se sentaron. El orden de salida que comienza 25 minutos después camw, esperamos otro 50 minutos después de empezar por la red. La comida era mala! Cordero entrantes fueron quemadas, pedimos un solomillo, que era del tamaño de mi palm. Filete de pollo era más seco de lija y parecía como si estuviese congelado. Insatisfecho con el servicio y la comida, hablé con el gerente, pero no importa lo que se había dicho y pidió para pagar la factura. Fuimos allí para el Iftar, con amigos, en un momento pensamos que estaría esperando hasta el servicio. De aficionados teakhouse'! No recomendaría este lugar a mis enemigos, incluso. Los clientes decepcionados insatisfecho que nunca volveremos. Indignado.

Cuatro de nosotros fuimos el viernes pasado después de la reserva en línea reserva, pero no era realmente necesario, ya que cuando era chico no mencionó la molesta nos hicieron sentir como idiotas!!

La primera vez que fui a yaqubs fue en febrero 2016, fui con mi esposa, fue en un fin de semana. Estaba muy concurrido. Así que después de esperar casi 1 hora ya terminado 2 bebidas cada uno, al final conseguimos nuestro principal pero hacía frío, pero al menos la 7-8 patatas fritas eran cálidos. Nos pareció que era imposible conseguir un camarero a nuestra mesa y cuando alguien, pedimos un poco de agua para limpiar nuestra garganta (por comer hamburguesas de frío). Esperamos 15 minutos y nada, no había agua y ningún camarero. No devolver la comida porque hubiera tomado las edades para volver y hubiera acabo recalentadas en el microondas y hubiera un olor al que nunca antes.

Precioso comida familiar, los niños comida excelente precio principal y dos lados, mucho. Todas las porciones buen tamaño. El Apple crumble es nuestro de este mundo, ya tengo ganas de volver. Sí, el personal es joven charlando entre sí y qué. vas a disfrutar de su propia compañía grupos, así que lo que si el personal son los jóvenes charlando y feliz, bueno para ellos : )) muchas ganas de volver a ir:)

La distribución de los asientos estaban bien. Sin embargo, la comida y el servicio era pésimo. Pedimos un medio raro bistec llegó a ser raro y sangrienta y me dijeron que no era raro. El personal no hacían nada. Algunos de ellos eran en su teléfono mientras los clientes estaban parado en la puerta. Esperamos una hora para los platos principales pero los aperitivos salió en 10 minutos. Muy insatisfecho con la calidad y el servicio. No recomendaría ir allí y no conseguí allí de nuevo.

Just had an excellent value for money night out here, 3 kids under 7 yrs and 4 adults. Steaks were very good albeit some of the sides were average, service was excellent and really relaxed vibe throughout. Will have no hesitation in recommending.

He revisado este lugar ya pero desde entonces he estado unos 4 veces más y cada vez que he sido su dio en el clavo y no me decepcionó.

The food here is absolutely delicious Loved the T-bone steak and my wife enjoyed the lamb burger. All presented very well

He probado este lugar ya que estábamos en una escala comercial Brum para visitar y necesitaba para comer y volver en coche por 350 millas en coche, tenga en cuenta que no hay aparcamiento en el lugar, que dejamos el coche en gratuito aparcamiento al otro lado de la carretera, y parece que hay muchos aparcamientos gratis en esta zona

Yaqubs entregados desde el comienzo, la decoración en el interior del edificio es cálido y saludo sin ser demasiado allí y distracción. El servicio fue muy bueno, con el camarero fue educado y fácil para hablar. La comida fue lo más destacado del día, tenía una filetes raro y fue increíble! La única pequeña pega era que los entrantes, que eran un poco menos impresionante que los platos principales.

Fuimos a este restaurante como un grupo de 5 amigos cuando nos detuvimos en Birmingham en 2015 Diciembre. Nos recomendaron este restaurante por un amigo, y entonces reservado para la cena a las 7 pm.

Fuimos para una cena familiar y la calidad de un bistec varía dependiendo de la corte que pides. Tuve filete de cadera que era muy sabrosos, pero otras cortes eran un poco seco. Las raciones eran satisfactorios y los lados eran buenas.

Steaks were pretty good. Services was good. They have wide choice of drinks too. All around good experience. I recommend it for a good meal with friends.

Food is rubbish. Over priced. Want a decent steak go to Toro's steakhouse. Don't try as you will be wasting your money. Service is rubbish. Food quality is Poor!!!

Visitamos aquí un domingo ordenados con sólo 2 de nosotros el bistec y me encantó!!! bistec es bastante pequeñas piezas pero sabor era justo, la salsa era agradable pero lo poco que te sirven en pot, no es suficiente, el servicio estaba bien, pero debido a que el accidente fuera del restaurante tomó todos atención desde el restaurante. Cócteles sin alcohol no era la mejor, necesitan un poco practicando quien les hizo.Sin embargo, volveremos de nuevo.

Food was delicious! Our steaks were perfect and the staff were very friendly and attentive. Reasonably priced also.

Honestly want in with zero expectations and left thinking if any grill house isn't like this then it isn't any good! Food is really good, value is decent. Recommend going if you fancy your steaks and burgers ETC.

The food was raw, smelt and cold. Not only was the food terrible, the service was just as bad - the staff were so rude. NEVER AGAIN!!!!

So finished work and thought I'd grab a bite a yaqubs instead turned out to be a full meal and absolutely enjoyed every bite the sea bass amazing the buffalo wings in bbq sauce and the smoothies were great as always yaqubs never lets me down.

Nunca me gusta ir a este lugar de nuevo. Nos sentamos cerca de la puerta en medio restaurante vacío que el camarero alegó que estaba lleno. Hacía mucho frío allí. Tras muchos intentos tardamos 20 minutos de colocar nuestro pedido. Pedí el medio pollo y eventualmente cuando llegamos me dieron un trozo de pollo con patatas fritas y tomé 6 crudas o mal cocidas . El otro trozo de pollo llegó después de que había terminado mi comida . Mi esposa y mi hijo ordenados el bife de Lomo, que de nuevo era muy pequeña. Habíamos pedido un poco de agua al principio de la comida, que finalmente llegamos al final , con nosotros tener que compartir una copa entre nosotros.
