I had the thin crust BBQ chicken pizza. It was good but I miss the red onions that are put on BBQ chicken pizzas in the US. The waiter was friendly. The timing on the service was average.

Efectivamente, poco me.

MORE AT TripAdvisor

we spent one of the warmest and most pleasant Saturday afternoons in Greenwich and trying to find a decent ice cream parlour, but without avail. Finally, we figured out that the Italian American restaurant by the harbour might as well serve some cups with ice cream. Indeed, we were pleased that upstairs on the roof deck there was still plenty of space and the choices of ice cream looked appealing (in the menu). It took a while to attract the waitress who was very busy, but finally managed to place our order after 15 minutes. Another 15 minutes later, our ice cream (raspberry trifle and godfather) arrived. My ice cream cup should have been decorated with chocolate sauce and granulated nuts, but arrived very bland without a decoration. I sent it back to the kitchen and after this second attempt it still did not even vaguely resemble the cover photo of the menu, but at least all ingredients listed on the menu could be identified. Taste was okay but not overwhelming and my “godfather” cup was filled with soggy square brownie clumps and a great number of bullets (malt balls, also known as Maltesers). These really ruined the experience of the ice cream although the waitress assured me that these bullets are part of the original “godfather”. Technically, the Godfather movie indeed features hails of bullets, but I did not expect them to end up in my ice cream. We ordered the bill, which arrived after another 15 minutes, and as the waitress did not appear to come back with the credit card machine, went inside after further 10 minutes to pay. Inside I realised that these significant delays and poor service could be explained by the only two members of staff serving this whole floor (all the dirty dished were piling up on the bar inside). When we left the restaurant, we found however a number of staff idle on the ground floor. I think management has to improve the quality checks in the kitchen (just ensure that the appearances of their products has some likeness to the photographs on their menu) and they also need to give more support to their waiting staff. In any case, the quality of both ice creams was underwhelming and I don’t think we will come here again anytime soon.

Very well situated F&B, niceish view. Again very much a chain restaurant, but friendly service and kid-friendly menu. Not bad for adults in need of a quick bite of standard fare. No surprises, in good and bad. A bit too loud background muzak, but that obviously goes with the concept.

On a recent visit to London, my wife and I decided to try this restaurant as we were staying close by and had never experienced this particular chain. We were delighted to be given a table overlooking the river and the three-course midweek special meal with a drink was excellent value for money. Our two waitresses, Tasha and Tiphaine were absolutely lovely and could not have been more attentive and helpful. We were so impressed that since returning to the Midlands, we have already eaten at our local Frankie and Benny's.

We visited prior to a gig at O2. We arrived 5.30pm to find hat there would be a 50minute wait. As most restaurants had queues a mile long we opted to wait in their upstairs bar with a drink and a bleeper to ay that our table wa ready. True to time, we were seated and although the staff were very busy, they took our order which arrived very promptly and was great. Same with desert. Staff checked that we had everything and brought the bill quickly. We made a point of praising the staff because they were extremely busy but still cheerful and accurate with the order.

We visited this branch of Frankie and Benny's when we went to see Busted at the O2 Arena. We thought we arrived early for food, but there was already and 50-55 minute wait for a table. Since all the other restaurant's seemed to be in a similar situation, we opted to wait in the bar. 50 minutes later and we were at our table, so their timing was spot on. We ordered our food and it appeared less than ten minutes later and tasted brilliant. This was repeated with dessert. We want to commend the staff on their speedy service that didn't compromise the quality of the food. I will definitely come again when I'm next at the O2.

Went here yesterday (Sunday)for breakfast about 10.30-45 time. Welcomed, sat down, and ordered our food. Staff was pleasant and no complaints about attitude. The downside is the lack of staff and therefore poor timing/delivery which spoils it.The food itself was fine, just the wait. A member of our group wanted their bacon well done and the waiter took it back. We had all finished our food by the time he returned with it. Shame as its in a nice location, looking out on the Thames, but there needs to be more staff and attention to detail would be great.

I don't post negative reviews but yesterday's visit to this restaurant was a bit of a joke.11 am, Saturday - on arrival I was welcomed by a very friendly guy, got a table and ordered tea with him. This arrived quickly. My friend arrived 10 minutes later, ordered tea with a person who we assumed was supposed to be our 'waiter' as he served another table in our section. She had to wait over 15 minutes for her tea to finally arrive cold. No biggie, she asked our 'waiter' for another, hot one. He said ok and disappeared, so again she waited ages for new cuppa to arrive. We said we are ready to order and our 'waiter' said just a sec and disappeared again. Restaurant wasn't even half full, there was plenty of staff and our 'waiter' had only two tables in his / our section. When our 'waiter' - a tall, big guy - had finally come back, he was just hanging around and totally ignored us. We caught attention of a waitress cleaning tables in another section - Marta if I am not mistaken and tbh she saved the whole experience! She was super polite, introduced herself, took our order, food and tea arrived quickly. She checked on us if we need anything else and if food is all good. Cleaned the table and even did up-selling - asked if we would like some desserts.Me and my friend go to this restaurant on regular basis and usually the place is more busy and service is good. As I already said, our waitress was brilliant, no objections there. But this slow and ignorant 'waiter' spoiled everything...

Enjoyed a nice lunch here this week. It wasn't too busy despite being half term. Service was overall good, which was really nice after not so good experience in another F&B recently. Went off the lunch menu so only about £7.50 and the carbonara was fine. Not swimming in sauce so quite authentic really! Kids were happy with the children's menu (£4.25) which as usual was good value. Enough to satisfy them plus we paid the extra £2.25 for the candy shop desert. Overall a pleasant experience. Hot chocolates by the way were excellent with cream and Maltesers so I had to have another!!

We kindly asked for a table by the window which was free. He told us that that table had been pre booked at 6pm, we arrived at 4.30pm. We told him that we'll finish in hour or so because we had a child with us. We also told him that we'll leave well ahead of the booking time. However, he was very unwilling to help, then we asked to talk to the manager and he said that he is the assistant manager, we asked for his name, he refused to give his name. The most shocking thing was that when we left the place, he said "off we go"!

We had to ask after the food twice and each time they said it would only be another 5 minutes (which was not true). The food finally came and was average. I had the buttermilk chicken burger and the chicken was burnt and the chips tasted a cold and dry. The place wasn't that busy but the staff were never by the tables (although you could see them chatting together by the kitchen). Although the waiter was nice everything was disorganised. After a long walk along the Thames path near the Cutty Sark yesterday we decided to pop into Frankie & Benny's for lunch. We were shown up to the rood terrace and given a table. The one overwhelming factor here was that the staff were obviously extremely well trained in customer service, I really haven'y experienced this type of customer service and interaction since our holidays to America last year. All the staff were happy, smiley and very helpful and really couldn't do enough to make our experience memorable. We ordered Bruchetta to start with then salads, chicken on skews in cajun sauce and pancakes for desert. The food was definitely okay and completely acceptable, however, I think the size of the portions and the presentation was possibly lacking to a certain extent. The restaurant itself was extremely comfortable and my friend was laughing all the way home talking about a 'learn Italian' tape playing in the toilets, so that is really priceless....and it's these little touches that go a long way to keeping return customers.

WORST PLACE TO EAT IN London! I was 'touring' my friend from America with her family and I'VE decided to have lunch outside GREENWICH PIER where our last stop for RIVER CRUISE. I've ordered spag.bolognese which can be served in 15 minutes(MAX) especially if it's pre-made like that of theirs. The annoying lady said, they have been busy especially in the upper deck of the restaurant, where it's full of customers. I went upstairs to check, but turned out to be 21 customers with lots of empty chairs around! Such a liar b***h!!!! I cannot imagine Frankie and Benny's hire such vile and incompetent employee!!!!My food arrived after a long wait and turned out to be bland and next to tasteless! Very mediocre - we were disappointed by our visit. The main reasons for this were:1. On arrival we were shown to our table by a hurried restaurant manager whose customer service skills left a lot to be desired. For some unknown reason he decided to sit us right in the wind tunnel created by two open doors at the front of the restaurant (even thought there were plenty of empty tables). As soon as we sat down we became aware of the cold breeze hitting the table. We asked the manager if we could move and his reply was 'oh it's just because the doors are open while the kitchen take the bins out'. He proceeded to close the door. This helped for about thirty seconds until someone else came along and wedged the doors open again. We ended up sitting with woolly scarves on for the rest of the meal. (I noticed neighbouring tables were also feeling the need to wrap up warm!)2. Our drinks arrived and the glass provided with my beer was dirty. I asked the waitress for a new one. She brought me another glass which was also dirty. I gave up and decided to drink my beer out of the bottle. 3. The main course took ages to arrive.4.The food was decidedly mediocre. Bland bruschetta made with unripe tomatoes. Arabiatta which was essentially spaghetti floating in a layer of chilli oil with some old wilted salad leaves. All in all - I'd summarise the meal as bland, chilly and overpriced. There is better food and better value to be found in other Greenwich restaurants.

After looking at loads of menus in restaurant windows, we settled for Frankie and Bennie;s which turned out to be a wise choice. We asked to have a window seat as the view was amazing and as dusk fell turned to spectacular. The city of London across the river all lit and twinkly. This in addition to some very tasty food, and our Waitress, Bela, being so accommodating and attentive made for an ordinary evening meal turning into one that we will remember for years to come as something rather special!

Went to this restaurant as a family we have to one before in Chingford, you would think this chain of restaurants they would be the same you can't go wrong. WRONG! I had booked online just as a precaution didn't fancy queuing with a child in tow, so when we arrived during their busy lunch time period other people had been waiting to be seated. In other F & B we would normally wait by the bar until our tables are ready, not in this place we had to wait for the door entrance which was also the way to the toilets upstairs. Not a good start, once seated we order our drinks & food, the drinks came pretty quickly, the food on other hands took some time & you could see why they didn't seem to have enough staff on hand to deal with so many people. Anyway when the food finally arrived it was as expected. Good food, enjoyable, while eating you could see the staff running around clearing up tables, cleaning tables ready for their next customer to be seated.I had informed them online that it was also my daughters birthday & was expected the birthday surprise & music when asked about it they didn't seem to know about my request. When they finally did the birthday song they gave the song while she was eating only for them to bring out a another ice cream sundae with a candle. Not a lot of fuss was made like the one in Chingford.Over all I would eat there again, definitely, would I dare to take family, no I wouldn't.

F&Bs is beside Nandos and Zizzis. Choose either of these. We ate here recently and the food was absolutely horrible. We are pretty unfussy and have eaten in our fair share of fast food places so our standards aren't high but it was overcrowded, slow and the food came cool to warm. Oily garlic bread, pasta very undercooked, pizza still covered in flour, burger very cheap meat (barely eaten by the two who ordered it). It was painful to hand over any money although the very kind waitress did knock some money off the bill but really free would have been too expensive!

I booked here as I was hopeful as the F&B in Newquay cornwall is excellent! How nieve was i?, on arrival they said my booking was 6 pm even tho I didn't call them till 7.10pm I said we booked for 8pmThey huffed and showed us to a table. It then took 45 minutes to as if we wanted a drink then we sat and watched them on the bar for 10 minutes before my other half went up and got them himself. The food took over a hour, It was cold and bland. We didn't get asked if the food was ok during our meal or if we would like anything extra. The guy in the suit stormed about grumpy and ignorent. And shouted orders across the dining room at the staff in front of all of us customers. The restaurant was not overly busy yes the standard was shocking.how can the Cornwall F&B get it so right yet Greenwich get it so wrong.complete disappointment for my birthday.

There were 7 of us who turned up without booking on a Sunday afternoon. We were found a great table and settled in with a selection of lager and bitter to have a look over the menu. The prices were very reasonable and the portion more than enough. I had the roast chicken and baby ribs which was excellent. The waitress "Bela" was brilliant, made us feel extremely comfortable, took our order, brought the drinks and always had a smile on her face. I can wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant.

The waitress was lovely but run ragged so can't blame her, but the food took for ever, I told the manager that if it didn't turn up pronto we would leave. It did turn up but one meal at a time, so it was cold when we all ate.We tucked in and it was awful, the meat balls on my sons pasta was revolting that it had to be left.A wide birth I feel for this chain.

The location is great, views are great and the breakfasts were fine. But I am one of these people who will not go somewhere again if the people did not add something to the overall experience, irrespective of the food. The waitresses were nice but the manager....what can I say? Someone has named him already but I will reframe from doing the same. There are two sides to every situation, but from where I was sat what I saw was someone belittling his staff at every chance, in quite a macho chauvanistic manner too. Generally seems to have a bit of a powerbuzz about him and was really distracting from the experience. Motivated me to create a profile here. No need to have a powerbuzz working in Tom and Jerry's for crying out loud!

We visited on 30th December with friends on holiday from France for what we expected to be a fairly quick lunch before visiting the Cutty Sark. The food was great, but the service was very poor. It took the best part of two hours to have our two course lunch! In fairness the waitress was very apologetic and the kitchen was obviously under too much pressure. However, we really felt short changed when we had to rush our visit to the Cutty Sark and miss walking through the tunnel under the Thames. Think we'll try the Pie & Mash shop next time we're in Greenwich!

We only went there to have some drinks after a long day of walking and visiting London with our two children. Nobody to start at the entrance counter, so we decided to help ourselves and get sitted : what an awful idea we just had! As a result, we had a REALLY cold service : no smile, barely a "good evening", and after 10 minutes of waiting for just 4 drinks, the waiter felt useful to throw the towels on the table, but not necessary to apologize when one cocktail was the wrong one... Conclusion : our 4 drinks must not have costed enough for us to be treated with a minimum of good mood.... No way we would have stayed there to eat for dinner even thought it was past 6 pm when we left!

I probably wouldn't go if my arm wasn't twisted (its not my thing) but if you are i) in Greenwich, ii) Its Monday iii) You have kids and iv) If you are starving - give it a go, its not as bad as you might think - I was pleasantly surprised.

Frankie and Bennys was the perfect choice on a bright ,sunny but cold December morning. We had the entire restaurant to ourselves with a fabulous view across the Thames. We shared a delicious breakfast of scrambled eggs, fried potatoes, bacon and sausage plus unlimited coffee. All served by a charming waitress. We then caught a Thames Clipper all the way to The Eye and back - wonderful ! A real feast for the eyes!! Then a short whizz round Greenwich Museum, always a treat, followed by a delicious lunch in a buzzing noodle bar. I do so LOVE London!

The portion size was good and the food freshly cooked, served and presented. My husband (a non coeliac) had ribs and chicken also good and a generous portion. For dessert I had a banana split sundae, just the right size and sweetness. My husband had tiramisu which he thoroughly enjoyed. Our waiter was excellent, nothing was too much trouble. When it did arrive two of the adult's meals had less fries than on the kids plates. When this was queried the grumpy response was that they were standard sizes but suppose they could bring out a side of fries. After taking so long to serve us in the first place it would have been nice if they had waited for us all to finish eating before leaning over us to start clearing the table. Finally after ordering deserts, the icecreams spent so long waiting on the pass to be brought over to us that they had all melted completely. We won't be going back there.

Service was quite slow, the girls made up their minds what they all wanted. Always been offered activity boxes for the girls to keep the occupied, when we have visited other branches of Frankie & Benny, had to ask 3 times yesterday before we eventually got the for the girls, then the food arrived before they had had chance to explore them (this was because they had waited so long). Once the order was taken the food was quite quick. The food was as expected, but it was a long time before the dessert order was taken and we were 2 short when eventually served. It took ages for us to have a simple meal.

I love a Frankie & Benny's and am never disappointed by the quality of the food. I also think the menu is really varied and offers a good choice. However, prices have increased and, although I enjoy it, I'm not sure it's the sort of place that I can justify spending £15 on an average main. I think the prices have raised a tad too much.Saying that, food was good, atmosphere was good for a Saturday lunchtime and there was a nice activity pack given to children and a good value kids menu (£4.25 for a main, drink and dessert - all good portion sizes). My main criticism for the Greenwich branch was that the service was appallingly slow. We waited a long time between courses and the waiter never returned at all to ask if we wanted coffee or desert. We were actually going to but waited too long so changed our minds.

McDonalds even - at least that way I would have earned the regret. Food was cold and disgusting, tasted like cheap supermarket slop. The service was amazingly poor (one waiter sniffed my girlfriend's milkshake, complaints were received unprofessionally), drinks weren't available, there was an hour wait for certain items on the menu, the atmosphere was depressing. This is one of the worst restaurants I have ever visited. Upon entry, the ladies at the door were extremely rude. The place was extremely loud and screamed dirty! Once seated, the food on the menu sounded delicious. After we placed our order, my friends meal arrived. Once he had finished (a greasy and tasteless meal), mine had still not arrived (despite having asked the waitress a few times). I eventually called the manager and explained I no longer wanted the meal. He insisted and said it would be taken off the bill. We waited for another ten minutes and it finally arrived. Unsurprisingly, it was also tasteless and greasy. To top it all off, the bill arrived and the pizza had not been deducted. The staff were unapologetic. I will never return.

Friends and I had an early evening meal here last Saturday after spending a day at the Tall Ships event. We chose it on the basis we could get in and as we didn't have the energy to travel across town to somewhere smarter especially as we were all returning home from different train stations - it was all getting too complicated! Saturday also happened to be the birthday of one our group and so when she spotted the open roof terrace where we could have some drinks in the early evening sunshine it was a done deal. Clearly they had had a very busy day and by the time we sat down they had run out of many beers and wines, however the waitress did do her best to try and find alternatives that would suit our group. We waited a very long time for both our drinks and our food. I was amazed to find that our drinks hadn't been served after spending more than 30 minutes away from our table admiring the view of the river. Drinks must have taken more than 45 minutes and food way over an hour. By the time we got it the sun had gone down and we were cold and there was no space to eat inside. I was surprised that they had no outside heaters as this is a large terrace and clearly a big part of the premises that they use for summer trade. There were no lights either - not even a candle on the table - so by the time we had finished our food we were cold and in the dark! The meals were very average. My New York chicken meal could have been anything to be honest - I couldn't distinguish the individual items that were supposed to have made this meal individual but by the time it came I was too hungry and cold to complain. At just under £15.00 I expected more.It didn't have the feel of either an Italian or a good American diner ... it was just a chain restaurant plastic meal and although the waitress did her best to serve us despite being exhausted it was a disappointment at the end of a long day. The Tall Ships event can't be used as an excuse. The event doesn't happen by surprise and they know how many people they have covers for ... there's no excuse for a lack of staff or for running out of drinks. Would I visit this chain again - no.
