The service was quite slow and the food was missing the finishing touches. The wings came without the dip, food lacked garnishes and cocktails came in regular glasses.

We visited here as a small group of 3. We ordered 2 cocktails which meant you get 4, a soft drink, nachos , chicken strips, steak, pasta and ribs. The drinks came out and Expresso Martini was flat, no foam head and 2/3 of a glass in each and the taste was not great. I reported this to the waiter who said he would tell management , I asked if it was out of a machine but he said it was freshly made. I'm a transgender woman, so what followed was upsetting when the waiter referred to me as sir , and when I corrected him, then did it a second time when we paid, I was very upset and asked him why as I had a face full of makeup and a dress on he felt sir was the correct choice. He didn't answer and didn't apologise. The restaurant has emailed me apologising, however I still feel upset and annoyed that this could happen in a large chain of restaurants. The nachos was good, my steak. Was cooked to how I asked, the pepper sauce was thick and tasted like someone had poured a pot of pepper into it. Not very nice at all. And I couldn't understand why the tomatoes on the plate were raw? Would I visit here again, probably not. Would I recommend this place to others, maybe if your a family. 1 star overall for the reasons I listed above.

Josiah gave us amazing cocktails at the bar this afternoon. He recommended us some InstaFamous 241 cocktails based on a cocktails, and they beautiful in appearance and taste 🤩🤩🤩. If we had more time my partner and I would’ve definitely stayed for another round of drinks!!!

ZERO Star for me. First, the food came in so late. We have waited 39-45mins before they serve us the main menu. The food is terrible. Steak is hard, uncooked on the inside but totally burned on the outside. Fries is from frozen food and not well deep fry. The oil used from cooking smells bad. Probably from constant used oils. The vegetable is rotten and the onion ring doesn’t even have onion inside - It is just full of flour. Totally waste of time coming here to eat.

came to the desk no one served us for a good 5 mins. i came here to do the unlimited chicken it was £15 for 90 minutes i saw others with more that 6 plates and i only got 3 and i asked if more is coming out because how is that fair?The also took a good 25 for each plate to come out and he last 20 something minutes i had to ask if another plate is going to come out this was disappointing. the tables was sticky and customer service was unwelcoming

After waiting over 5 minutes at the entrance for someone to offer us a table, a member of staff finally came over to us. I asked for a table for 3. He said there weren't any available and we'd have to wait 15 to 20 minutes for one to be cleaned! I could see at least 10 tables that were empty and not reserved. He said they needed cleaning. How long does it take to clean a table? One minute? He could have done it himself - initially there was no one behind us waiting to come in, so he had time. We walked away, he obviously didn't want our custom - I think he was waiting for his mates to arrive. Weird behaviour for a chain restaurant in a shopping centre!

Even though we had to wait half an hour for someone to get our order, we were lucky enough to have Ramon as our waiter. His service was more than great, he was really nice and made sure that we were having all the drinks and food that we could have for the bottomless brunch. He made sure the drinks kept coming and we left the place rethinking our life choices, specially about how much alcohol we should have had

I am not a person that finds it easy to complain and normally can find something to be positive about when eating at a restaurant. However the experience that I just had at TGI Fridays in Westfield was the worst experience that I have ever had at a restaurant. From start to finish it was awful. The customer service being atrocious, the waiting time long and I don’t even know how to describe the quality of the food! The fact that the experience has compelled me to write a complaint which has wasted more of my time shows how bad the experience was. Please avoid wasting your time and money and sanity on this restaurant! Doesn’t even feel like that it deserves a one star review.

Awful! Reserved a table for 5:30pm, once seated it took 1hr15 mins before our children’s meals was served & drinks (meals cold). My son has an egg allergy & the waiter said ‘I guess he will be fine’ when ordering a certain item!!!! WHAT!?!? Our mains came cold, we did complain & was given cake for our kids although again EGG ALLERGY not taken into account. The changing facility was appalling, urine all over the floor along with a nice size hole. Yep, I had to stand in that to change my child’s nappy. We booked a table for 2 and was told they were short staffed however we waited 40mins and our orders still were not taken, we saw two tables come in after us and were waited on before us., The staff ignored us, talking amongst themselves, walking past our table multiple times, to the point where the table for 2 that came after us and were served before us talked to their waitress saying we had not been served, she was not apologetic and didn’t even address us directly. e waited a further 10-15 mins. I’ve never experience this kind of service before or should I say lack of. Terrible, I can’t even rate the food because nobody took our order, we left after 40-45 mins of waiting. The Istaff talked among themselves and walked past our table multiple times. Never again.

Having visited many TGIs with my teenage kids I knew there would be something here they would like. From the moment we arrived the visit was not up to the usual standards. We prebooked but had to wait for our table yet groups of staff stood chatting while tables remained uncleared. Once seated we waited a long time with no sign of our order being taken. When it was finally was, I specifically asked for no toppings on daughters fajitas and was assured this was the case. Husband and my food arrived with no silverware to eat it. Daughter’s fajita meal arrived with wraps and topping but no chicken or silverware. We asked server for silverware and he vanished to get some - in the end my husband went to get some as our food was going cold. Daughters chicken finally arrived covered in sauces etc as I specifically had been told it wouldn’t be! The food was good but the whole restaurant was full of unhappy customers and staff who stood chatting or were on phones behind the bar. Not a venue we will return to

Worst experience ever.Dirty table, chairs, menus. While sitting bench fell deeper in. Table full of crumbs and salt. Asked for plain chips as have children with Sen who eats very bland food- first chips fine, next round- with some pepper on. Specifically asked for plain. Chicken- more burnt skin and glaze. Pork ribs, inc chips and slaw and corn- tasteless. Ordered mohito- water with lime juice and mint. I mean shop bought mohito in a can is 100 times better. It was an embarrassment for me. It was my son’s 18th birthday. And it was the worst experience. After spending £117 left hungry and upset with kids and family.

I ordered the sesame chicken strips, a TGIs classic. Very tasty but could do with something else to compliment the plate, for £20 odd you’d expect a bit more than what you get. But TGIs are known to be expensive so can’t expect much more. The service was OK, the waitresses were lovely but quite slow on the beers. The food came out quite quickly. The music in there was really loud though not a great atmosphere

We both got the sirloin steak medium well done and we got two different steaks, one looking amazing and the other one all smashed and well done cooked, no pink inside at all, the only said that they are sorry and didn't offer any help or recompensation! Worst first time experience ever, the whole food was bland, had high hopes first but I am utterly dissappointed. Don't recommend anyone!!!

They were brilliant when it came specific dietary and allergy requirements. My daughter is newly diagnosed with coeliac disease and has to eat a gluten free diet, when I notified them the staff made sure to take it very seriously and are very aware of cross contamination. The manager even offered my daughter extra fries as she ordered the chicken wrap and when it came realised it wasn’t actually a wrap. Was pleasantly surprised by my visit and will definitely eat there again as my daughter didn’t feel left out and still has plenty menu options to choose from. All the staff were really accommodating and lovely.

Tasty food, very poor service. Family of 5 stood outside waiting for service whilst staff members just walked past us. Eventually shown to a window seat, in a very cold area, then a long wait for the waitress. Eventually a very young waitress came to take our order, and managed the whole process without a welcome or a smile. The 2 alcoholic drinks arrived first and then we waited 10 minutes more for the 3 soft drinks. When food arrived we noticed there was no cutlery, and had to wait a while longer whilst the waitress went around unattended tables to collect cutlery. She came over and dumped them in a heap in the middle of the table, and walked away. Our soft drinks were refillable, but again it was very hard to get anyone’s attention. We decided to give up on the idea of desserts. When we eventually asked for the bill, there was yet another long wait until it arrived. Very very poor service, and the place wasn’t even busy.

Terrible service! I raised a complaint on their website and never got a response. Nobody acknowledged me when we arrived to wait for our table. I had to ask for a staff member to which they pointed at our table, didn’t even seat us. No cutlery on the table, had to ask. Ordered porn star martini didn’t come in a proper glass and no processco shot, he said it will come seperate as they run out of glasses, waited another 20 minutes for this. Tasted awful and had to change the drink. Food turned up, was cold. Had a rewards code from app to which the staff member knew nothing about how to use this , absolutely shocking service!!

Came here as everywhere else was rammed. Food was fine, I quite enjoyed my burger, my one slight complaint… the couple behind us had their allergy listened too and filled out information for the kitchen. I was never asked this when we were seated- I thankfully carry an epi pen with me, but usually at TGI (lakeside/ Stevenage), that’s the first thing they ask -( if there is an allergy). I would say this is a major red flag. Also…. It was sooo loud like I couldn’t hear my husband whilst seated.

I have been here 3 times and all 3 times we have waited ages for someone to take our order and waited even longer for our food to arrive. When I said that we waited long I mean it, we waited for an hour before they came and said they forgot about our order. Food took quite a while and when it got to the table it was cold... so clearly had been sitting there a while, I ordered a refillable drink which was a complete waste considering it took me over 15minutes to manage to flag a waiter down for a refill... we were going to order dessert but after sitting with our dirty plates in front of us for over half an hour without a member of staff coming over to take them and offering us the dessert menu we decided to give it a miss, it also didn't help the resturant was absolutely freezing. Not a great experience and won't be returning... I actually had to approach the bar in order to get our bill because it seemed like staff completely forgot they had customers sitting there... from getting our main course we were completely ignored

Seated by person who looked disappointed to have a customer. Waiter was much betters They didn’t have any beer on tap because they’d run out. Was offered bottled beer, I chose Peroni, when it came it was the gluten free Peroni. Waiter was apologetic and offered alternative. When food arrived 40 mins after ordering despite us being first customer there and seeing delivery drivers collect food before we were served good, slaw was missing. Was told they’d “run out”. Interest concept when it’s something that takes five mins to sort, and also why not tell me earlier so I can request a different side. Haven’t been to TGI in a long time, won’t be going again. Really overpriced for what it is - the salad is as tiny and clearly not fresh. Mac cheese was microwaved and solid. Felt sorry for the waiter who looked embarrassed by it all. Daughter didn’t get capri sun orange as they’d run out. “sorry,” he said, “it’s always like this after busy Saturday.” 😅 Daughter’s hot dog had stale Brioche bun which she could not eat Can’t speak for atmosphere as we ate in the concourse outside the main restaurant. Accessible toilet has a big hole in the floor.

I recently attended a friend's birthday dinner at the restaurant. The food was nice and the staff were amazing especially Dylan. He really went extra mile to make us comfortable. Food is great, however I will no longer be sitting inside to eat, myself and my partner were there this evening 5/1/2025 and there was a couple next to us a few seats down, the lady jumped up and screamed saying she saw a mouse so I jumped up and ran to the other side of where I was sitting luckily myself and partner were already finished and getting ready to leave, as I was standing up a server came over and asked if everything was alright I told him that the lady said there was a mouse and his response was they are all over the shopping centre and in the tgi Friday restaurant EXCUSEEEEE MEEEE!!!!!! I got my things and left immediately after he said that, if I ever go back which won’t be anytime soon I will be booking a table outside, never have I ever been in any other restaurant in Westfield’s and seen mice roaming free that’s very concerning

Very disappointing experience, on a quiet early evening on NYE . Had to constantly ask for service despite there being lots of staff, food took ages and was poor quality, and when we gave feedback it wasn't a surprise to the manager that the whole thing was awful. She knew it was! Looked like a secret shopper was on a table by us and also saw how poor we were treated. She was equally treated badly. Check my other reviews, will barely complain as know some staff try their hardest, and I never ask for a discount but I considered walking out of here without paying before the meal arrived as it was so bad. I wish I did!! Had to go to the bar to pay so we didn't miss our train as no one came to take our payment ....still missed it! Will never go back here or to another TGI. Avoid at all costs!

Family of four, meal cost £70 including using a 1 kid eats free offer. Food was awful had to send back a burger because they served with raw bacon in it. All food was cold. Kids meals came up with the wrong sides so had to go back, their hot dogs came up in burger buns as they ran out. Won't be rushing back. Its a shame its massively gone downhill. Clearly can't handle busy periods especially in such a busy shopping centre with the football stadium next door. Also note to servers... taking a 4 person order without writing it down doesn't impress anyone especially when you get it wrong.

i ordered a BIG portion of jack daniels sesame seed chicken and i got served an appetiser, as ive been to tgi fridays many times i do know the difference between the two so i brought it up with one of the waitresses and they told me that they would bring it up with my waiter, he then told me that they no longer serve it in a bowl with lettuce and this is the size that it comes. a few minutes later a waitress comes over and serves a man behind us jack daniels sesame seed chicken with lettuce a large portion of chips in a bowl. This is unacceptable as i may as well have payed £10 for the smaller option instead of paying £21 for the larger option but still getting the smaller option

We arrived around 4pm. Restaurant just of one third full. Although,Plenty of staff(Witers, runners,bussers and bartender) were present, with number of them standing idle, there were no visable sign of m.o.d or hostess.We were eventuly shown to a table which was unset and not cleaned from previous guests. Even though there were quite a number of free and ready set tables available, our host refused and insisted for us to sit on the dirty table. We waited and waited to be seen by a waiter. After further 15 minutes of being ignored, i had to get up and go to waiter station and intrupt two members of staff's conversation to point out who qould our waiter be! When I asked if there is a M.O.D. on? He replied yes pointed him out. It turned out that the manager on duty was the person who Sat us on our dirty table! Throughout our time there, he never engaged with any of his team or customers. SERVICE IS ABYSMAL!!! We entered the location at 17:00 and weren’t greeted / acknowledged or served until 17:40. This is completely unacceptable. The waiter that serviced us with the short hair and gold tinted round glasses roamed around aimlessly completely avoiding our table making us constantly think about leaving. Once he took our order 40 minutes later it took 13 minutes to bring out 2 soft drinks; 10 minutes after the food!!!!. To top it all off we ordered a bottomless strip deal. We were served once and then ignored for the remainder of our allocated time. Finally when we asked for the bill it took them another almost 15 minutes just for the price to be wrong and tried to charge us MORE. This is a disgraceful way to treat people especially as a first and only time customer this has changed my and all of my friends / families view on the brand permanently and I will telling everyone I know to AVOID AVOID AVOID!!!

What a desertion, the service I give it a three and that the restaurant was empty, and the food was the worst. I ordered a children's hamburger menu, the meat was black and dry as if they had already prepared it, the bread was cold and hard and I had fries for my son and I got a corn that was drier, it was not fresh... The seats were falling apart and the toilet doors slam shut every time someone walks through them which became irritating as we were sat next to the doors. The food was nice and the staff were good although time between arriving and taking our orders was slow. However our food came out pretty fast. Would eat here again but would avoid sitting at the rear of the restaurant where the toilets are. Dinner was not too expensive and overall was enjoyable if you like the American style fries, burgers etc.

The food was mediocre or below considering other branches. Service have no words to be honest from part of the food coming before the drinks, the other food item ls never came, asked for it a few times didn't make a difference. Asked for the bill a few times again didn't make no difference we had to go and stand by the waiters station for the waiter to come and give us the wrong bill, i mean i can go on and on. Overall will not be going back!

Walked in today as a table of 10 (two kids) given the Centre table which fit all of comfortably. Sat at 4pm. Decided to leave at 4.40pm after no Waiter/waitress came over to take our Drinks Order. Terrible terrible service.

The food is always delicious. We had the sesame chicken strips and some loaded fries. The atmosphere was not the best as we were sat outside in the shopping centre. We were so tired we didn't really care where we sat. But if I had gone specifically to have a meal I would have been disappointed. The service was ok. The cocktails though are so expensive. £16 for one cocktail or £16 for two which is a better deal. However you have to have the same cocktail. You can't mix and match. Which I think is unfair. We had a mojito but it just came in a basic glass that had nothing special about it. If I had paid full price I would have sent it back. I would expect the works for the price. The taste was good. But not worth the money. Overall we enjoyed our meal.

i understand Saturdays are busy but wow the service was abysmal. booked a table, waited in the que for 10mins then to be told that my booking time has already been sat now I will have to wait ,I explained I wasn't late I was in the que finally got sat then to wait over 20mins no one came to the table to take any type of order . Finally got annoyed and went to leave spoke the the manager on duty told him we just been ignored for 20mins, he convinced me to stay and took my order for food and drinks again I understand it was busy but sat there 30min and still not even a cocktail arrived. So again I got up and left and definitely will not be returning

Very bad service, severe RACISM. The attendant who greeted us at the beginning informed us to wait 5 to 10 minutes for our seats. They had a lot of empty seats but it didn't look like there were enough wait staff available to serve customers. The actual wait time was well over 10 minutes. When we were ready to order, I held up my hand for a long time and none of the waiters paid me any attention. It wasn't until I stood up and found a waiter to inform him that I needed to order, and the response was that he'd get one of his coworkers to help me, but no one came for a long time. It wasn't until about half an hour after we sat down that a waiter came. But he ignored us and went to serve the guests at the table next to ours. The guest at the table next to ours had arrived later than us. This is blatant RACISM. We didn't even get any formal apology after speaking to the manager. Really disappointed. I walked out of the restaurant shaking with anger.

Food was mediocre at best and definitely not worth the price. ‘Cocktail’ was disappointing as well, very watery and lacking any flavour. Our server seemed to be doing their best but of course couldn’t make up for the sad food and poor atmosphere. Table next to us were there for a birthday and seemed to have a similar experience, and when they spoke with the manager he would not listen to their concerns and insisted that he needed to clear tables instead when there were plenty of empty tables. Its hard to understand how a place can be both terrible with the food and the service?! Pick a struggle! Our starters arrived incomplete, after asking to speak to someone it took them 15min before someone came to check what was wrong. Even then after talking to them, they said they will have a look and never returned; avoiding our table for the rest of the evening and instead spent the time gossiping to their colleague about other patrons by the entrance. Another staff member who was dropping off other dishes made eye contact with me and came over; once we told him about missing bits in our meals, he said he would go get them. He also never returned. One of the wait staff who were waiting neighbouring tables, eventually noticed us and came to see what was happening. After explaining we are missing parts of our meal, we are told that it has run out. Had we known this before we wouldn’t have ordered the meal!! We ordered some piña colada and what arrived was essentially pinapple juice with ice. No coconut cream in sight, and the juice itself was watered down and looking like bath water. The hot chicken wings were dry and inedible without sauce. The fries were the only good thing to eat. Otherwise everything else was cold. While waiting to be seen after being served, we had the opportunity to witness another customer chase the manager to have a conversation about their service, only to have the manager constantly evade and ignore them. Instead, focusing on clearing tables (despite there not being any queues out front or people waiting to be seated). This further through the vibes off and made the atmosphere worse. After asking for some of the incomplete dishes (which we didnt end up eating) to be removed from the bill, it took them 20min before we got the bill. Thankfully they removed the service charge too in addition to the incomplete meals.

Awful experience since you walk in , no host for 10 min , when he have the nerve to come and receive us , he will ask if we want to sit inside or outside , we choose inside , then every single table was seemed to be booked or non available, the vibe he transmitted is terrible , they don’t want To help you or accommodate you , I’m an assistant manager too and I know very well what’s this about , I will never be back.

Absolutely horrendous customer service today. I attempted to treat my other half with ribs at TGI Friday in Westfield Stratford. I attempted to ask a question to a member of staff 3 times and she ignored me. She was literally standing a foot away from me and just walked away. I then looked around and saw 3 more members of staff standing around just staring at us. My other half had to wave h Their hands to try to get someone's attention. When a lady finally decided to show us to our seats, she shouted "I'm coming". I explained my ordeal and she said she would get the manager. While waiting, all remaining staff were standing at the rear of the establishment staring and conversing. We decided not to eat there in the end, as the experience of oddity was far too institutional. We went to five guys (opposite). As a business owner myself, that level of customer service from T.G.I's is horrifying.

Absolutely terrible. Visited here recently, restaurant was completely empty, however we were not made welcome. My mother has a gluten free allergy and the staff here had no interest whatsoever in this. When we quizzed the waitress as to what my mother could eat on the menu, we were told to “Tell me what you wanna eat and I’ll tell ya if you can eat it” as if we were a massive inconvenience to the absolutely empty restaurant. We then walked out and went elsewhere. Intolerance and allergies are a serious matter and people can die from eating the wrong foods - TGI Fridays of Westfield do not care.

This place has lost its what is renowned for in the 90’s. This must be the wirat restaurant we have been to this year. No vibes, no atmosphere, bad service, glum servers and no enthusiasm and fun to what it usually used to be. Waited a long time for drinks to arrived and waited awhile again for our fiid orders to be taken. Food arrived and we had no cutlerries and condiments. Had to hunt down a server to find cutlery. Cutlery was delivered and server looked angry at us. Server came to asked if all is ok and before I could respond she had walked away to the next table. Really horrible experienced yo a restaurant where we thought we could have amazing time because of servers enthusiasm and good vibes whether the food is good or not. Total let down.

Well, I am sad to say my experience at TGI was just... okay. Not bad, but I was a little disappointed. I got the chicken pasta, and the pasta itself tasted quite bland and had almost no sauce. Admittedly, the chicken itself was very tasty, but there wasn't much of it in the dish compared to the pasta. My girlfriend had a burger and said it wasn't very hot and was basically room temperature. She encouraged me to rate 3 stars instead of 4 cause we both agreed the experience was pretty mediocre, but not terrible. Our sides were good and the drinks were enjoyable, but not enough to make up for the let down of our main courses sadly. The service was good, our server Jorenas was very friendly, the only problem was it took quite a long time (like 30 minutes) of waiting between each visit to our table, even just waiting for our bill! But I understand that this is likely because of understaffing issues as I also work in hospitality, so I wasn't too upset at it, but others will probably find their patience tested.

Took about half hour before we were given glasses for refillable drinks. They were apparently so busy, they didn't have any clean glasses even though restaurant was half empty. Menu is lacking variety. Items were missing from my dinner. Asked for blue cheese dip that comes with it, got given pot of sour cream. Almost got charged for two chocolate cakes at £20. Lucky i checked receipt. Overpriced. Not surprised they're going bankrupt. Waiter was nice gentleman though.

The dude in the front who choose the tables for you, he have no clue what’s the saying nor the information, we had Uni days and he said yeah they work, we ordered food and in meanwhile two customers had some sort of heated arguments with one of the waitress and he was so rude to the customer( customer service is not even close and even the manager was some guy who can’t even solve the situation like for real!!!!) Our food came and it was nice but a bit cold, whatever we finished and later bill came were I asked him, I have Uni days and that dude was like we don’t accept Uni days offer I was like what on earth” n I told him the front seat guy told it’s accepted, then the waiter was like okay open the Uni days and show code, and apparently they don’t work We got scammed and never going back.

DO NOT GO HERE! Management changed so avoid this place like a plague. Went for my son’s 21st birthday and our evening was ruined. Waited 45 min before our drinks came. Asked for missing cutlery several times but didn’t get it. Complained to the a manager who looked fake called Mo!! He had a piss poor attitude and replied I don’t know everything as I don’t have eyes at the back of my head. We had a pay £178 for the meal. The food arrived cold so not worth the money.

My husband wanted a steak for dinner so we went to TGI Fridays in Stratford. We were taken to a table area that was filthy so we requested to move. We ordered two soft drinks and two steak meals. The food took ages to arrive and when it did it was missing multiple items. My steak was burnt and bitter and when I tried to alert wait staff and request sauces we were ignored. When we were finally able to get the attention of a waiter to inform him about my burnt steak and the missing items, we were told that there had been an error with our bill where another table had paid our bill and a deduction had already been taken because of this and they would not be able to accommodate any further deductions. We never received an accurate copy of our bill despite requesting this multiple times. Eventually we asked to speak to the manager and when the manager came over to our table the waiter's demeanour changed and became intimidating, such as raising his voice and making accusations that I had eaten half of my steak. This is completely unacceptable. My husband was able to remain calm and negotiate a reduction of our bill with the much more reasonable manager after an extended period of time. This was my first and definitely last time at TGI Fridays. Awful experience and ruined my evening! Avoid avoid avoid!

I had the thin crust BBQ chicken pizza. It was good but I miss the red onions that are put on BBQ chicken pizzas in the US. The waiter was friendly. The timing on the service was average.
