The best restaurants in United Kingdom serving American food

First time visiting this branch today and I was very surprised to see the chicken club burger for only 1.99. I was expecting a mini burger but it was massive and I love how they cut it in half whilst in the wrapper making it so easy for kids to eat. Loved this idea. Service was exceptional and food quality amazing. They even charged my phone for me and recommended the new peach and mango Robinson drink which was delicious. Very happy customer and the kids enjoyed their food too. Will be visiting again. Thank you.

I never entered in a Five Guys before so I didn’t know how does it work. So I recommended that, for couple, just ask for small fries, not necessary more due is a huge of fries that they will give you

A bit of an odd review to write, as the majority of the issues presented could not have been prevented by the staff working today. We ordered a couple of Calzone pizzas and some fries, nothing too crazy. The pizzas were delivered quickly, and were of good quality - my main issue was one of personal preference. I cannot stand garlic butter (not an allergy, just me being not liking garlic butter), and they were delivered absolutely swimming in the stuff. This wasn't mentioned on the menu, and if it had been I would have asked for adjustements to be made, or ordered something else. I cannot criticize the team working as they have presented the food to spec, it's that the menu wasn't clear about what you get. In addition, we also had to remind the service team about the fries, as they had been forgotten. Our server was OK and was apologetic about the food (I did say it wasn't hers or the teams fault, just me being picky), but the member of staff that took our payment didn't seem to care, even though we were leaving with a full plate of food left. I also wasn't overly keen about the 'pushy' nature of tipping - there didn't seem to be a way to not pay a tip (the staff, whilst OK, did nothing extra to warrant being tipped). You are presented the card machine with option to tip 5, 10, 15 or 20%, but seemingly no way to not pay. This leaves you with the only option to ask the server how to not pay a tip, and you might as well just say to them "You guys aren't particularly good at the job" In all, not a great visit, but not entirely the fault of the venue, less picky diners will probably have a better experience (the food would have gotten 4/5 stars if the menu communication was better).

Lamb steak was overly salty! Could not finish it.

Just popped in for a drink which was more like iced soda water. Waitress had most miserable face on her … clearly sat there on her break. Go elsewhere … didn’t seem like the fact I only wanted a drink! Is this not ok?!!! Not an enjoyable experience

Came here due to good reviews and 'good cocktail offers'. The actual bar itself has potential, however, it is extremely run down. For example, there is tape all over the floor holding down broken floor boards. The cocktail selection is decent, however, the menu has no prices on it, unless you use the online menu. We came here on a quiet Tuesday, and there weren't many customers. However, we went to the bar several times and got ID'd randomly sometimes by the same person. The staff were just sat down at the bar talking all night, and changing the music every 10 seconds (couldn't keep a song on). I understand it was a quiet night, but at least try and look busy. The offers for drinks weren't great either, I've had better cocktail deals in Manchester, with much better options. Wouldn't come back here.

Food was great. Had the full platter with four sides. Plenty of extra sauces available. Fed two people and had drinks for under 40 Pounds. Will definitely be coming again. The staff were all lovely and came to check up on us throughout our meal. Only issue was our chips we had we're lukewarm when we got them. Definitely worth a visit to try a South African classic

Decent place nice seating outdoors. Haven’t sat inside yet but seems nice enough. Between 4-6 I think they do the house lager for £4.50 and it’s not too bad. Have been both to drink and to do some work during the quiet hours, both pleasant. Nice array of seating very lovely when busy.
