It’s a Monday evening so quiet but nice enough service was good as was the food.

I would like the atmosphere more if the lights were dimmed :)

Stood waiting in the door in a near empty restaurant. Not even an acknowledgement. Walked over the road to Prezzo, seated immediately. Certainly will not be returning.

Fast service, freshly cooked hot quality food.

Really nice place to come and eat. Vicky was our waitress and she was very attentive quick and straight to the point. Great evening will be back.

Staff was rude when are order was wrong twice. Then said they have no more burgers. Then went on to say we didn't explain the order correctly so we were in the wrong. When clearly the waiter repeated our order to us. No happy with the service

When we arrived there were just 6 people sitting eating food. They took out drinks order when we sat down but took ages doing just 2 drinks. Did not have to wait too long for our starters but as other people have pointed out the take away and delivery service does get far more priority!! Overall food was ok, however the main reason for giving them a 2 star was that when I ordered my pizza I asked for the red peppers to be omitted but could I have some extra mushrooms, at the point the waitress should have said that this will be an extra charge to give me the opportunity to say yes or no, but when the bill arrived they had charged me £1.10 for a few slices of mushroom!!!!!!! This is disgusting as I had saved the the red peppers Will think twice about eating here again so F and B you have potentially lost a lot of money for the sake of scamming me for £1.10

Me and my wife had dinner at Frankie and Benny s Trowbridge and everything was amazing, we have been taken care of very well by Ana who was lovely, polite and quick even though the restaurant was full.

The service was outstanding. Imogen the waitress was very lovely friendly and easy on the eyes. I deffo come again.

Won't be coming back waited 30 minutes to be served then a 30 minutes to get the food which was stone cold sent back to then get new one which then was rock hard inedible will not be coming back! Long wait for bad food .

Disappointed to arrive at 20.10 and to be told kitchen closed. Very surprising and disappointing. Spoilt my trip and overnight visit to Trowbridge. Such a shame had such good experiences at various F&B throughout the years. Hope it was just a one off crying shame if on such a busy leisure park it stops serving before 8 every day.

Food was served quickly which was good and appreciated with 2 hungry children. And very tasty. However we had to ask 3 times for the mayonnaise after our food had been delivered (3 different people- including whom I assume to be the manager). The last person we asked was brilliant and she went straight away to get it and apologised. To be totally honest your female server and the bar tender made this a much better review than it otherwise would have been as they were both attentive and efficient. For how quiet the restaurant was I’m glad we didn’t come when it was busy!

We went in to eat at the restaurant and before closing time the manager put her hand on her waist and didn't want to serve us, it was a terrible experience, a terrible restaurant, terrible people.

We were in a party of 11, because of the size of party we had to pre order our food. We arrived on time and our table was ready. We waited 40 minutes before anyone took a drink order. Then waited another 15 minutes for the drinks to arrive, the restaurant wasn't even half full. We were told that 2 of our pre ordered meals had run out and had to choose something else, why bother pre ordering? I personally had the bbq pizza, it was like a child had squirted bbq sauce from a bottle over the pizza to make it bbq. They forgot to cook one of the pre ordered meals, this arrived 10 minutes after everyone else had finished eating. I then tried to order tiramisu for desert, but they had also run out of that. On top of the bill, they added £38 for the pleasure of our custom. I wasn't impressed and certainly won't go back. The only positive I can mention was they put a small piece of brownie on a plate and wrote happy birthday in chocolate sauce for the birthday girl and played the birthday song, that was nice. Total bill nearly £300........wow!

I have ordered from here multiple times of Uber eats, and 9 times out of 10 they’ve got my order wrong and a few times I’ve had to wait up to 2 and a half hours simply for a burger and some mac and cheese which was cold and had mayonnaise on which I specifically asked not for, when they get my order right the food is amazing

Food took a really long time to arrive after order had been placed. The wait was well in excess of 30 minutes. The reason was clearly visible, all the Deliveroo and Just Eat orders were taking priority over anyone who was sitting in the restaurant. So if you make the effort to eat in your food order is not a priority.

Very quiet, and the food shows why. Bland overpriced, small portions, charged for tapwater. Went for a child's birthday and they used to make a fuss, sing happy birthday, staff would gather round. Not any more. poor all round

Really awful experience, they served us drinks and took our order, waited ages then eventually waitress came up and said they had lost our order could we please reorder everything, with 3 young kids we decided to leave as they were already restless and very hungry.

Staff were rude, claimed we had to prove nhs with blue light which isn’t stated on website. Didn’t even take into consideration allergies on the table said the couldn’t accommodate it. Took them forever and a day to seat us take out order and get the food out. Staff were awful so was the food

Honestly not keen on the food the dishes feel a little sparse but the staff are wonderful and it's a great place to hang out with the family.

The best cook on the planet is Patrycja. Mega fresh, appetizing, beautifully decorated food. The best service that always takes care of guests with a smile on their face and is always cheerful, so you feel at home with your best friends

🕓 I visited Frankie & Benny's at St Stephens Place in Trowbridge on Saturday 11 May 2024 in the evening, a weekend during term time. The restaurant was fairly quiet. I was with one other person. I've visited this restaurant 2 or 3 times previously. 🅿️ There is ample parking either in the car park right outside the restaurant or in one of two car parks very nearby - parking is easy. 🍽 The restaurant comprises of one fairly large sized main dining area with plenty of tables with full table service. The restaurant is bright and clean. 🤗 The team were very friendly and welcoming and I had no issues - we got everything we expected in good time and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. 🍔 I enjoyed the Calzone for my main course, which was amazing. The food arrived hot, was well presented and tasted really good. There was a good selection of food and I found something that appealed to me easily. 💷 The food was reasonably priced, I paid around £27 for the one main meal, a frozen strawbery daiquiri and a coke. ⭐️ Overall I really enjoyed my visit and would definitely come and visit again. ⏳️ I spent around an hour here.

Plenty of staff, restaurant wasn’t busy but we waited 40minutes for food, more concerned about completing just eat orders then addressing the customers in the restaurant, lots of others waiting on food & drinks too. Food arrived, burgers dry & pepperoni pizza’s were tasteless (Aldi frozen pizza tastes better) & extremely poor service. Would never return…!

Service was incredibly poor. Food took over an hour, and when we asked was told ‘couple minutes’ and took an extra ten- people served before us who came in afterwards. I ordered an arrabiata, which was nice, but no offer of parmesan, and we had no check in whilst we had our food- tried to grab attention of waiter but was ignored. Would have been nice to have been offered a way of making it up to us. Takeaway food was also definitely prioritised over dine in as well. Lack of vegetarian options also.

Three of us went yesterday early lunchtime. We knew we had over 90 minutes before needing to get to an appointment, and especially because there were only three tables in there and two waitresses, we were confident that, as usual, we’d have plenty of time. How wrong we were! Started off normally, ordered our lunchtime menus and the starters came quite quickly. Naturally, they didn’t take long to eat, and we stacked the plates on the end of the table. Still only 3 tables of 2 or 4 people each were in the place(including us). Nobody came to clear the plates, and we waited patiently, but after about 15 minutes, still nobody came to clear them. Eventually, when I saw one of the waitresses standing chatting to a delivery guy (Uber eats or similar), directly opposite our table but with her back to us, I stood up and politely got her attention – she instantly said ‘You want to pay”? Obviously, she still hadn’t bothered to check or keep track of her tables. When I said no, we want to eat, she cleared our stater plates and left. Another 20 minutes later, after seeing several ‘Uber’ orders be despatched and another table receiving their order, and still no food for us, I politely stopped one of the waitresses and asked where our meals were, as we were now coming under time pressure, and still mains and dessert to eat. She said that we should have told her if we were in a hurry. I replied that we weren’t in hurry when we ordered, but we had been in there almost an hour and had only had our starters. No apology in any form, or promise to check with the kitchen, she just went back there and started chatting to another (or the same) delivery driver! Looking at the cook’s reaction, it seemed like they’d forgotten our order. When the food finally came (still no apology for the delay), the two pasta dishes my family had ordered were fine, but my chicken burger and chips were way overcooked. The chicken was dry and almost inedible, and the chips were almost burnt to a crisp. I would have raised this at the time, but we were now under so much time pressure that the last thing I wanted to do was be late for our appointment. We just had time to eat our meals as quickly as possible and leave. We didn’t even have time to eat the two desserts we’d pre-ordered, so we took one away and cancelled the other one (lost sales as well as an unhappy customer). It was only when we paid, that the waitress mumbled an apology a couple of times, but still didn’t mention the delay . just a “sorry about that” with zero sincerity. To be fair, it’s the only time to date that we’ve had any issue at F&B’s, even when visiting at the busiest times, and I know any place can have a blip every now and then. However, given that the place was almost empty, there’s no excuse for waiting staff not to pay attention to the customers. Even worse, trying to shift the blame to your customers when it’s clearly the staff who have dropped the ball, is just downright disrespectful, especially to me, who had remained calm and polite throughout (many wouldn’t). In the past, we’ve extolled how well-trained the staff in F&B are, but yesterday, they seemed more interested in chatting with the delivery guys. It seemed like they just couldn’t wait for their shift to be over and for customers to go. We will go again sometime, and hopefully yesterday was just a blip. Nevertheless, there’s no excuse for the customer-blaming. If we hadn’t been before and had such good service, we wouldn’t be considering returning. In context of similar standard/price places in Trowbridge, F&B’s service quality is normally what differentiates them from their competitors, so let’s hope this isn’t the new norm for F&B’s service.

We were served by Alex,He was very nice and super attentive and we had a wonderful meal . We had the chicken amd haloumi burger and crispy vhivken , both delicious, we can barely move. 😋
