Grillz Steakhouse in Birmingham

1st time we came to Grillz for family meal. Greeted and shown to our table Staff crew "FATz" n "D" n "H" who also took our food n drink orders a excellent customer service. Food arrived looked n tasted amazing defo 101% coming back again . Friendly and family atmosphere !!!

I’m honestly so disappointed with our experience here. From start to finish, it felt like we were completely overlooked. Our table was ignored almost the entire time, and no one even cared enough to ask if our food was okay. What made it worse was seeing the table next to us being treated like royalty with countless staff looking after them, while we couldn’t even get basic service. The menus were practically thrown at us, which set the tone for the rest of the night. When the food finally arrived, it was a complete let-down. My plate was swimming in sauce, the "Naga wings" had nothing naga about them, and the mash was grainy and tasted like it came out of a packet. I ordered the loaded a chicken Parmesan for my main and it was awful. The plate was 90% sauce. The only time we got any sort of speedy service was when we were leaving – and by that point, it was too late. I had been looking forward to this meal, but it was such a let-down from start to finish. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.

Got a Parmesan and crispy chicken have to say it’s an absolute rip of. There hardly any chicken in the Parmesan just so much chips, the crispy chicken something cheap from cash and carry’s won’t recommend or be visiting again

Great food, polite and attentive staff. Despite a small hiccup with one of the dishes, the team member we raised the concern with did the most admirable gesture to ensure we were happy with the overall experience for all 9 of us by providing our table with complimentary churros all round. The team member also honoured to replace the dish with any choice of our own and due the generous portions and enough food to go around for everyone, we opted to have it replaced for a freshly made take out. I would like to sincerely thank the young lads that looked after our table.

Unbelievable and unreal sirloin steak. Would highly recommend to any one feeling a steak. I had mines medium well. With the creamy mash. Cooked to perfection. Thanks guys

We came from London just to visit this place and it honestly exceeded our expectations. The staff were all so friendly and attentive, especially Brother Kaisar and Brother Tahmid (so sorry if I spelt the names wrong!). They went the extra mile for us and we can’t thank them enough. Food was absolutely delicious and tasted very fresh. Restaurant is very clean and aesthetically pleasing. We will 100% be regularly visiting here from now on. From Mubeen (Karwoo)

Do not order the wagyu pizza , most oily and nasty pizza I’ve had in a while £15 not worth it , best part of it was the chips it came with . Other good we average but overall wouldn’t recommend as the price is way too high

Having heard such glowing reviews about your establishment, I was genuinely excited to visit and brought my husband along for what we hoped would be a memorable dining experience. Unfortunately, the reality fell quite short of our expectations, particularly when it came to the food. To start, the chicken parmesan was a significant disappointment. The presentation and quality were nothing like the images showcased online. Instead of the crumbed chicken we anticipated, we received a small piece of fried chicken smothered in sauce, served cold. It wasn’t enjoyable, and I regret to say we couldn’t finish the meal. Similarly, the Papri Chaat failed to meet expectations. The portion size was surprisingly small and looked nothing like what was advertised. The chickpeas were also hard (stale?). This felt deceitful, as I was really looking forward to trying it but left feeling deeply disappointed. To add to this, the food took an unusually long time to arrive, which further compounded our dissatisfaction. Given the wait, we had hoped for higher-quality dishes that aligned with the glowing reputation your restaurant holds. While the waitstaff were lovely and the ambiance of your restaurant is beautiful, the food unfortunately overshadowed these positives. I left not only dissatisfied but also slightly unwell, which added to my upset. Considering we made an effort to travel to your restaurant, I feel let down and disappointed with the overall experience. I hope you will consider this feedback and take steps to address these issues. Your reputation suggests you value customer satisfaction, and I trust you will strive to improve. I look forward to hearing from you regarding how this matter might be rectified.

We arrived from London this afternoon and were excited to try this place as our friends have suggested this to us. I am pleased to say that they did not disappoint. I will be returning, thank you for your amazing service.

I thought the main meal tasted lovely. A little spicey but great taste. I had the chicken kebabish. The desert was also very good and well presented. I did think for the price of the desert it should have been larger. I had the sticky toffee pudding and ice cream. The service was good, and the staff was pleasant.

I’ve been here a few years ago and loved it. Tried it again and it was awful. Ordered the chicken Parmesan and the waiter kept pushing me to order more food and made me feel really uncomfortable. The Parmesan was far from a Parmesan. More of a packet fried chicken piece with nacho cheese which tasted ridiculous with rubbish flavour. Don’t even get me started on the price for something so nasty. You expect consistency and good food and service. The waiter should be reprimanded as he kept approaching our table and insisting we get more food when we didn’t even finish. He should not be harassing customers this way. Honestly I would avoid at all costs. Much better and cheaper food elsewhere. Honestly the customer service was the worse I have received. I would not be going back.

First time visit - very enjoyable experience. Food - I ordered a steak with peppercorn sauce, mash and steamed vegetables - absolutely delicious :) Service was excellent - with attentive waiters providing a prompt service Definitely worth visiting

Disappointing to see them serving Coke. They get 1 star. The wagyu pizza is pointless. You can't enjoy the meat if it's burnt onto a pizza. I would not visit again.

Had to wait 10 minutes to be seated, but was understandable as it was half term and a weekend. Ordered t-bone steak....it was not great. Wasnt cooked to how i asked and overall was inedible. I normally go elsewhere for steaks and thought lets give it a try....it was disappointing. Really tough. We did get a bit of a discount, but im still not impressed as ive paid for something i was unable to eat. Unfortunately will not be going there again. Our waiter's were lovely and understood our disappointment.

I honestly recommend this place to everyone, went there yesterday with my whole family for a graduation party and had booked a group table. The service, food and the atmosphere was amazing, the food came straight away despite having a big family the boys delivered the food straight away, humble lads and very bubbly. My family will definitely be going back and after the amazing experience we had yesterday. I highly recommend this place to everyone the food was just everything!!🫶🏽

Ordered takeaway for desserts and the custard and concrete cake was not nice, the cake tasted like it has been left out for a fee days and definitely not fresh.

Food was nice, however wasn't keen on the loud music and the fact that they are still support coca cola and similar products by not having alternatives. What a shame. Quite cramped too. Price was about average cost £40 for a meal of 2 people.

Honestly if I could give 10 stars, I would!! The food was absolutely beautiful, the service was amazing, they seated us instantly, took our order and delivered our food within 20 minutes. The atmosphere was lovely too! 10/10 would recommend, the entire experience was incredible.

Kaysar was serving us and my oh my.. the service was top class and the food was A-M-A-Z-I-N-G-! This restaurant is one of my favourite now, definitely will be back. Advise for the steak lovers - I had a Ribeye well done with mushroom sauce, it was too good. Well done guys!

Had an amazing experience at Grillz Steakhouse the atmosphere was very good and relaxed it had a very modern vibe. The staff were very attentive and friendly. I ordered a sirloin steak and crispy prawns with sriracha mayo the food was perfect and very flavoursome. I enjoyed my food with a mocktail which was also very nice and refreshing. Over all i would definitely return here and i would highly recommend it to anyone i know.

The service was so disappointing that if I could give a rating of 0, I would have done that. Unfortunately, there isn't an option for that. The floor manager's disrespectful behaviour was appalling, and it's clear that he needs to learn proper manners for interacting with people. It's shocking to think that someone like him could work in a professional environment. Shame on whoever entrusted him with this job role and responsibility. I have no intention of returning to this restaurant for a meal. JUST DISGUSTING!!

Excellent dining experience! The service was really good and staff were very attentive! Lamb chops were 10/10! Highly recommend the Lamb Kebabish! Inside was very clean and kept upto good standards! Only issue was that they didn't take card but otherwise very good! 👍🏾

Came for my daughter's bday meal, everything was exceptional from the moment we stepped in and sat down to finishing our meal. The staff were top notch and very attentive to us and the food hit the stop. The sirloin stake was cooked to perfection and went well with the naga sauce I had. All in all 5 stars from food, decor and staff. Will defo be back again soon Thanks for making my daughter's bday meal special with the sparkling candle on the cake

I have been there with my friends, a group of 7 for dinner. Servers were around but no one came to take order for 25_30 minutes, then I insisted them to take order Missing items in order Only 1/4 piece of Naan served where it was said to have one full Naan as side. Served wrong order Juice ordered which was served after re calling 5 times Service was very poor.

WOULD RATE ZERO STARS IF I COULD! I don’t write bad reviews usually but after such a terrible experience here I had to resort to this. I visited this restaurant for the first time and was extremely let down. Their menu and website states to inform a member of staff of any allergies. So we did exactly that and were immediately told that they do not in fact cater to allergies whatsoever. The so called ‘boss’ (who I don’t believe actually was), was very stand offish and rude in his dealings with us. He stated that there was ‘a million percent chance’ that their food would cause an allergic reaction through cross contamination. He also kept repeating ‘are you willing to take the risk’ to every question or point raised by me. I kindly advised him that they should clearly state on their menu & put a sign in the window or somewhere visible that ‘WE DO NOT CATER TO ALLERGIES’ instead of misleading the customer and wasting our time. I’ve visited countless restaurants and never had to deal with such rude and abruptness when it comes to allergy requests. I felt quite discriminated against and would definitely not recommend this place to anyone (allergies or not). This specific member of staff needs some training on how to actually communicate in a normal manner with customers instead of being passive aggressive. You should contact Farro’s for advice as they clearly train their staff better on dealing with allergies and effective communication skills!

Been here over 10 times and it is always as consistent and tasty as the 1st time. Food is always on point, service is good. Cannot fault this place and is by far the best spot for steaks amongst other dishes!

Not like we expected, the food was alright but way too expensive. Service wasn't that good, no cutlery on our table so we had to get it ourselves, food came very late and they forgot one of our items. But the food was good enough. The chicken was soft and moist.

Great service will come again even got complementary deserts!

Never a disappointment in this place from the food to the service. One of the best in Birmingham for me.

mojito and mango daiquiri drinks were good, salmon was nice, but the parmesan chicken was a fried piece of chicken fillet (felt like it was the ready made frozen type) with some sauce on top, the chips and doner was nice.

I am surprised about the reviews the food was delivered cold taste was bad I had to warm it up again and to make it worse the order was not complete. When I rang the restaurant the staff member was very rude I will pay visit and see how brave the staff member is. This is something personal now. It’s not cheap food zero customer service. It’s 5 minutes away from my place.
