Great place to have dinner. Food was delicious.

It was okay but it was so crowded when we came in. The food was nice and delicious, this was the best curries I have had. I recommend this restaurant for people.

We visited as a family of seven and were immediately impressed by the warm and welcoming atmosphere. The setting was pleasant, and the staff were incredibly kind and friendly throughout our visit. We were served by “Fats,” who was especially helpful and patient while we placed our order—an absolute credit to the team. While waiting for our food, we asked if there was a space to pray and were thoughtfully shown to a prayer area upstairs, which we really appreciated. When the food arrived, it exceeded all expectations—absolutely delicious and beautifully presented. We enjoyed every bite and even had room for dessert! Although they don’t usually serve tea, the staff kindly offered to make us some, which was such a thoughtful gesture. Overall, a fantastic experience from start to finish. Highly recommended!

And today a wonderful person on the till was so fab and offered us free tea on the hse so we dnt need to elsewhere, honestly this place is the best fr young or old. Grillz has become our family go to, the food is always good and the hospitality is even better. They are a lovely, accommodating team to everyone. I really appreciate it, as it can be difficult when taking your parents out, but mine are always happy here - especially my mom who always feels so looked after, especially by Ali. The girl working with the braids was lovely and quick on her feet to accommodate us didn’t catch her name but she made the experience worth coming for food was tasty will be returning

Great tasting halal food, definitely enjoyed the Swiss Butter Steak, and the lamb chops.

This experince has been exceptional, food was good but the customer service was perfect FATZ made the experince unforgettable. Will be back for sure.

Absolutely amazing. Had a fantastic meal here! I went for the sirloin steak and it was cooked perfectly — tender, juicy, and packed with flavor. It ordered medium & it was just medium! The sides were delicious too, especially the parmesan sauce and rice. The atmosphere was cozy and the service was spot on. Definitely a place I’d come back to for a solid steak dinner! Mr. T & Shumon served us this evening. Amazing people

Childish guys on the phone, call up to book a table the kid is just laughing. This was for a table of 10 and we were travelling from 3 hours away. If the owner sees this please sort it out, not a way to treat customers in Ramadan too. That kids needs sorting out

I am very very disappointed that I have come to this conclusion to write this review as I have been to grills in the past but yesterday 12/03/25 the experience I had was absolutely terrible I was fasting and decided to have a a lovely iftari at grills but unfortunately that didn’t happen .I ordered platter which came in plates tiny portions size and filled with cheese sauce which made me feel sick my son who is 11 years old was very upset and said next time don’t bring me here which did upset me . When I came home I started to feel sick .for the price I paid for I didn’t get i wouldn’t recommend grills on Coventry road .I thought I would be honest as it’s the month of Ramadan and you would want a nice iftari not have baby size portion.

I booked a table to break my fast today, however the booking system is not clear (it said it was awaiting confirmation, it was neither declined or accepted) and we were rudely turned away with little to no explanation. in addition, they are doing cash only which seems strange with no notice given on the website. this is extremely disappointing customer service. I had to go elsewhere to break my fast at the last minute.

I ordered and booked the day before. I was instantly sent a menu and I made my order. On the day, when close to breaking my fast, all my food came out on time, really hot and very enjoyable. There was no wait. The service was great and everyone was lovely.

The Sirloin was 10/10 it was so juicy and flavourful and delicious wish I got paid enough I’d eat there everyday. I’ll be back on pay day 😍😍😍

Lovely ambient family friendly restaurant offering a variety of dishes including steaks, kebabish and burgers. On our visit we got to try the new Waygu Burger which was delicious. They also have a great dessert menu. Parking is available for free at the rear of the restaurant.

Foods great but one word of advice - play some jazz music or slow music as there's couples eating. They don't wanna hear oopsy daisy by Justin beiber and fast paced crazy songs. Couldn't even hear my partner speak when we went there last. Also a particular waitress was dressed in yoga pants. You're in small heath 😅 where there's so many Muslim customers and you know your demographic is mainly Asians/Muslim families so this did raise an eyebrow.

Dined in the other day, table of four. The service here can’t be faulted. The food as well hit the spot. I asked for extra naga hot for the mixed kebabish and they didn’t fail. Will visit again, keep up the work guys

I recently dined at this establishment and opted for a fillet steak alongside nachos as a starter. The fillet steak was excellent—well-cooked, flavorful, and satisfying. At around £35, it offered good value for money and was more than filling. However, the nachos were let down by a disappointingly low-quality cheese sauce. Rather than a rich, velvety topping, the sauce resembled a watery, lumpy, and flavorless paste, reminiscent of the cheap, instant varieties found in supermarket packets. This completely overshadowed the dish and detracted from what could have been a solid appetizer. A simple improvement—using real, melted cheese or a properly prepared cheese sauce—would elevate this dish significantly. Hopefully, the restaurant takes note, as the steak proves they’re capable of delivering quality when they get it right.

A great place for steak lovers, the fillet steak was spot on, we enjoyed everything and the service was great too, we'll definitely be back soon!

Had a booth, would he good to have some extra privacy as we were still quite open. Food was typical, very sad to say but spicy and seasoned with the typical chilli, cumin and Asian spices which as a non Asian I wasn't very fond of considering I ordered chicken parm which neither had the tomato sauce nor parmesan. A battered (not breaded) chicken steak smothered in cheese and chilli sauce. Wasn't a fan of the food in all honesty. Seemed to be more about aesthetics. Our waiter was extremely helpful and good.

Very bad experience. My first time visiting and without telling me, the boy charged me 15% tax on my bill! Once it went through he grinned and told me after that i been charged 15% tax on my bill. How ridiculous! Thats a robbery without my permission! I had no time to complain to the manager and get my money back as i was in a rush to head out. That really peed me off.

Top place for some delicious hearty & finger licking food. The bao buns were sooo soft & the filling was superb with a spicy kick..kiddies & adults alike enjoyed the crispy house fries & along with meaty chops. I ordered the steak dinner which was nice but average, didn't necessarily wow me even though I requested for it to be made abit spicier. Hubbys steak was ok too, think next time I might go for their burgers, we were a family of 10 with 4 kids & they put us in the glass box which the kiddies enjoyed. We found parking on a side road but apparently they do share a carpark round the back. Overall happy with my visit & would definitely come again to try the rest of the menu:))

Unbelievable food and service, never a bad meal

I’m honestly so disappointed with our experience here. From start to finish, it felt like we were completely overlooked. Our table was ignored almost the entire time, and no one even cared enough to ask if our food was okay. What made it worse was seeing the table next to us being treated like royalty with countless staff looking after them, while we couldn’t even get basic service. The menus were practically thrown at us, which set the tone for the rest of the night. When the food finally arrived, it was a complete let-down. My plate was swimming in sauce, the "Naga wings" had nothing naga about them, and the mash was grainy and tasted like it came out of a packet. I ordered the loaded a chicken Parmesan for my main and it was awful. The plate was 90% sauce. The only time we got any sort of speedy service was when we were leaving – and by that point, it was too late. I had been looking forward to this meal, but it was such a let-down from start to finish. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.

Got a Parmesan and crispy chicken have to say it’s an absolute rip of. There hardly any chicken in the Parmesan just so much chips, the crispy chicken something cheap from cash and carry’s won’t recommend or be visiting again

Great food, polite and attentive staff. Despite a small hiccup with one of the dishes, the team member we raised the concern with did the most admirable gesture to ensure we were happy with the overall experience for all 9 of us by providing our table with complimentary churros all round. The team member also honoured to replace the dish with any choice of our own and due the generous portions and enough food to go around for everyone, we opted to have it replaced for a freshly made take out. I would like to sincerely thank the young lads that looked after our table.

We came from London just to visit this place and it honestly exceeded our expectations. The staff were all so friendly and attentive, especially Brother Kaisar and Brother Tahmid (so sorry if I spelt the names wrong!). They went the extra mile for us and we can’t thank them enough. Do not order the wagyu pizza , most oily and nasty pizza I’ve had in a while £15 not worth it , best part of it was the chips it came with . Other good we average but overall wouldn’t recommend as the price is way too high

Having heard such glowing reviews about your establishment, I was genuinely excited to visit and brought my husband along for what we hoped would be a memorable dining experience. Unfortunately, the reality fell quite short of our expectations, particularly when it came to the food. To start, the chicken parmesan was a significant disappointment. The presentation and quality were nothing like the images showcased online. Instead of the crumbed chicken we anticipated, we received a small piece of fried chicken smothered in sauce, served cold. It wasn’t enjoyable, and I regret to say we couldn’t finish the meal. Similarly, the Papri Chaat failed to meet expectations. The portion size was surprisingly small and looked nothing like what was advertised. The chickpeas were also hard (stale?). This felt deceitful, as I was really looking forward to trying it but left feeling deeply disappointed. To add to this, the food took an unusually long time to arrive, which further compounded our dissatisfaction. Given the wait, we had hoped for higher-quality dishes that aligned with the glowing reputation your restaurant holds. While the waitstaff were lovely and the ambiance of your restaurant is beautiful, the food unfortunately overshadowed these positives. I left not only dissatisfied but also slightly unwell, which added to my upset. Considering we made an effort to travel to your restaurant, I feel let down and disappointed with the overall experience. I hope you will consider this feedback and take steps to address these issues. Your reputation suggests you value customer satisfaction, and I trust you will strive to improve. We arrived from London this afternoon and were excited to try this place as our friends have suggested this to us. I am pleased to say that they did not disappoint. I will be returning, thank you for your amazing service.

I thought the main meal tasted lovely. A little spicey but great taste. I had the chicken kebabish. The desert was also very good and well presented. I did think for the price of the desert it should have been larger. I had the sticky toffee pudding and ice cream. The service was good, and the staff was pleasant.

I’ve been here a few years ago and loved it. Tried it again and it was awful. Ordered the chicken Parmesan and the waiter kept pushing me to order more food and made me feel really uncomfortable. The Parmesan was far from a Parmesan. More of a packet fried chicken piece with nacho cheese which tasted ridiculous with rubbish flavour. Don’t even get me started on the price for something so nasty. You expect consistency and good food and service. The waiter should be reprimanded as he kept approaching our table and insisting we get more food when we didn’t even finish. He should not be harassing customers this way. Honestly I would avoid at all costs. Much better and cheaper food elsewhere. Honestly the customer service was the worse I have received. I would not be going back.

First time visit - very enjoyable experience. Food - I ordered a steak with peppercorn sauce, mash and steamed vegetables - absolutely delicious :) Service was excellent - with attentive waiters providing a prompt service Definitely worth visiting
