I am surprised about the reviews the food was delivered cold taste was bad I had to warm it up again and to make it worse the order was not complete. When I rang the restaurant the staff member was very rude I will pay visit and see how brave the staff member is. This is something personal now. It’s not cheap food zero customer service. It’s 5 minutes away from my place.

Excellent. Highly Reccomended. Great Halal Food. We went in today and ordered, amazing and friendly staff. Also attentive when needed. The food was delicious We ordered fillet steaks and Nuggets and chips for the kids. Dessert was no exception, again great. Ordered a cookie dough and a French toast. I highly reccomend you go! [Update] Have been 2 times since! So good.

Food was delicious and the service was really good. Very accommodating to our prayer needs. However, it would be better if they can put the music off during prayer times.

Got the food was told wasn’t going to be spicy the first bite made my mouth burn. Hated the environment full of rowdy men. If you have any respect for yourself I wouldn’t recommend you taking your wife or kids to a place like this.

Great service, great food, ordered chicken Parmesan, beef steak dinner and had French toast with ice-cream for desert, would highly recommend this branch on Coventry Road

Staff were great, friendly welcome and always very attentive with the waitress checking up regularly on how things were going. Went for the loaded parmesan, found it quite heavy with too much cheese flavoured sauce, would be better served on the side maybe to allow customers to decide how much to add as the tease was over powering everything else. I’d consider going again to try out the steak but would pass on the loaded parmesan. Great venue and staff

Absolutely phenomenal food and customer service. The T-bone steak was full of flavour and cooked to perfection with a reasonable price. Their creamy mash is the greatest side to grace this earth.

Quite nice food but a little overpriced for the taste.

Great food, with attentive staff. Nothing too spectacular but it was great. Mojitos were nice, especially the kiwi mojito. Steak was great and cooked to perfection. Would recommend and would go again. Only downside the place we was seated felt a bit tight

We’ve been here many times and have never been disappointed. Food is always delicious, portion sizes are good, vibes are lovely, it’s family friendly, and every single staff member is so attentive (Khadija served us last night and went above and beyond for us!). We were especially surprised at how fast the food arrived! One of our fave places to eat at and will always recommend to friends and family.

Me and my family ordered chicken Parmesan and it didn’t taste good. The chicken seemed like it was frozen and the cheesy sauce on top didn’t taste nice at all.

Rude staff, waiter got angry and kicked me out after he accused me of stealing a bottle of salt. I hadn’t even sat down or ordered yet!! I’ve never been so insulted in my life. Please never go to this dump. Also, the kitchen is extremely unhygienic and rats are present - I encourage you to see the kitchen from the back car park. Never go here

Can not fault one bit, amazing food amazing service the atmosphere was lovely and calm music level wasn’t loud to a point where I can’t hear myself think. Portion sizes were perfect so not going home half full or making unnecessary waste. Definitely will make another visit. Thank you so much.

Loaded Parmesan is a scam Parmesan meal on its own is 12pound with 2 pieces of chicken Loaded is 6 pound more they take away one piece of chicken and replace it with a handful of lamb kebabish Basically you charged more for food to be taken away and replaced with something else sort this out please

Recently visited Grillz Steakhouse on Cov road for the first time. I ordered the mixed platter for 1, special shout out to Wahid, who recommended me to get the egg fried rice as a side instead of the house rice, and it was just spot on. Amazing hospitality, food, and I will be sure to return again. If you love quality food and 10/10 service then I would 100% recommend this place.

Went after a long time. Let me tell you…they did not disappoint!! Once again, as always not only was the food just as amazing and high quality but the service provided by H was excellent. Super friendly. Very attentive, made sure we had everything, met all our requirements with all the different dietary preferences we had. Most definitely would recommend Grillz 👍🏽

Went on Saturday with my brother, and the experience was wonderful, especially the service by H! Very attentive to catering and dietary preferences, Food was delivered promptly! The food was lovely too, had both dinner and deserts and would recommend to try! 10/10 would definitely recommend going!

I've eaten from here a fair few times and not had any issues, generally food is good. I ordered a fish burger costing £11 only to find out it was a frozen fish burger you find at the local chippy for about £2. Very disappointed in this regard as I expected a proper cod burger for that price and if you guys are going to serve pre-made frozen fish burgers then you might want to re-think the price you have them at or serve a proper fish burger...

Delious food with perfect presentation. Good value of money. We had chicken nuggets with chips, chicken steak, sirloin stake with mushroom sauce and veg, grilled chicken, and different mojitos, food was fresh and tasty. They gave us a table which was next to counter, staff was keep hitting chairs again and again. Staff Need to be more attentive. That's why I gave them 4 stars Hard to find parking around this area.

Great food, quick to sit us down, promptly took our order and food was spot on. Their portions are good - you can easily feel satiated with their mains portion sizes and if you order starters you'll probably end up wasting food and money. We had chicken parm and chicken kebabish. Both were amazing. Check the pics out. Only negative is that I had finished food on my plate and still chewing it and the waitress asked to collect the plate. Bit too keen to clear the table!

Had a booth, would he good to have some extra privacy as we were still quite open. Food was typical, very sad to say but spicy and seasoned with the typical chilli, cumin and Asian spices which as a non Asian I wasn't very fond of considering I ordered chicken parm which neither had the tomato sauce nor parmesan. A battered (not breaded) chicken steak smothered in cheese and chilli sauce. Wasn't a fan of the food in all honesty. Seemed to be more about aesthetics. Our waiter was extremely helpful and good.

I would say decent quality and decent value for money

You are choosing to sell drinks that are on the boycott list. You lost some regular customers that have been coming since you first opened.

Lamb chops were 10/10 as always! So tasty. Pasta was nice, chicken pieces a bit big. Chicken jalfrezi and naan was amazing too. Strawberry mojitos was delicious. One or two chips weren’t soft/cooked through though. Good service too. Place is always quite packed and can seem hectic because of small space.

Food was not up-to scratch unfortunately mix platter for 2 was abit tasteless and so was the Mac and cheese tasteless and tiny in size. Just all tasted bland with no real flavour. First and last visit for us. Was really disappointed tbh. Probably won’t go back as average food. Staff were nice though and you guessed it no card payments.

Grillz is an absolute must for the best steak in Birmingham! Generous steak sizes with a lovely garlic butter on top. The steak is very good quality (I usually go for the sirloin). The restaurant itself is gorgeous with an ‘instagram picture’ worthy vibe. Rich dark colours and gorgeous cherry blossoms. You feel like you are at a high end restaurant - with food to match! Prices are very reasonable. The sides are all homemade and are lovely - esp the mash and Cajun fries. Coleslaw is also very good! A special mention to Fayaaz and Wajid, who are fantastic and always serve you with a smile on their face…saying that, all the staff at this restaurant are lovely and actually care if you have had a nice experience. Prayer facilities also available if you ask.

Chose this place for an evening family meal as the menu looked promising. Struggled to find parking as it was a weekend and place itself is quite small - we had to wait on the floor of the restaurant for 20+ minutes to be seated, a bit awkward as people who had already sat down were trying to enjoy their meals and probably didn’t appreciate being crowded. Food itself was excellent! We ordered the Chicken Kebabish, Sunday Roast, Chicken Steak Dinner (with creamy mash), Loaded Parmesan, and Lamb Biryani. A shame to see that the restaurant isn’t boycotting Coke and Pepsi. Good variety of other soft drinks, mocktails, and milkshakes. Service was also decent. It’s worth noting that the restaurant is cash only, or at least was when we visited recently. A generally positive experience overall and we would consider dining her again when in the area.

Once upon a time I use to love this place when it was a very small shop once its become a double fronted shop and 3 floors the food has gone also diabolical we ordered wagyu burgers biggest mistake we ever did was to order that we should just ordered standard steaks I guess soke places are not cut out to go on to the next level they served us some nasty meat which was 100 percent not wagyu meat tasted like basic lamb meat with kebab mixture we have bien to other places which do the wagyu meat and the meat is pure quality plus we was robbed we was sold scrap meat as wagyu also as a Muslim establishment I would expect them to have some decency to stop selling genocide drinks that's why repect shazan in lozell they have totally stopped so many hijabi lady's and guys with beards as customer should be ashamed of drinking coke whilst the same money is used to kill our Muslim brothers and sisters Also the brothers at grills very nice people but on the day of jannah u guys would be answerable for the genocidal drinks u guys are selling

Can't go wrong with Grillz. Menu is extensive. Caters for most. Portions are generous and food on point. Been here couple times and it's always been a pleasant meal out.

They messed up the order but bought the food very quick which made you wonder how is it prepped? That quick They forgot the drinks had to order them again Wasn’t happy with steak at all it was hard and chewy They only take cash payments Atmosphere and decor was nice Food didn’t seem hot enough when it arrived to us

Food and service was excellent, I had the fillet steak and by god it was the best cooked steak I ever had. The naga sauce was absolutely lovely I had to order more. It was my wife's birthday and we ordered the birthday platter and honestly it came out sparkling made it really special for her. Thank you so much for a great evening. We came from Coventry and this is on par with the farmhouse.

The mixed kebabish with Piri steak chips and salad was so so tasty and had a nice kick to it as I requested the hot one. I had a pina colada to drink and finished it within seconds it was so nice.

I normally go to Grillz every so often as it’s local and their menu is extensive and it caters for all in terms of friends or family who are picky with food. My go to for food is their kebabish which is the best in UK! And their strawberry mojito/daquiri which is 10/10. The few times I’ve been, Waz has always looked after me. So before I go now, I always drop him a message before I plan going down. In Ramadan, Waz was extremely helpful. I messaged him a day or two before popping down with a big group of 10 and he sent me the Ramadan menu over and advised to pre order by a certain time to guarantee the food coming out on time. Every time I go, their service is on point and their food seems to get better and better. A massive kudos to Waz for looking after me every time I pop down. I’ll be back again soon. Thank you to Waz and the team for the work they do and the service they provide.

Visited here with some old friends from Birmingham, who treated me to Dinner. The place was busy, which is a positive sign. It did feel a bit crowded though. Food was great and delicious. Ordered the T Bone Steak to go with some rice. It was delicious and very filling. There did feel like an urgency to get us out though. Felt like we had to order more or leave. Didn't have time to let the food to sit nor wind down. Other than that, it was good 👌🏻

So disappointed! I walked in, they said we r fully booked. I called at 5:30 the next day to reserve a table coz I was so keen on trying it, they said we fully booked! They open 5:00 pm!! Asked to be booked for the following day, they said no we cant and u have to call again tmrw at 5:00 pm to be booked!! Nah thanks i think I'm gonna pass on that.

Had the Americana burger, the flavour was different to other burgers I’ve had but it was enjoyable.

Food was very nice. The mix kebabish was 10/10. Rest of the food was also very nice. Salmon gave us an excellent service, food all came out on time, seating is very spacious and comfortable.
