Grillz Steakhouse in Birmingham

We visited Grillz when in Birmingham for lunch. The food was amazing, and good customer service. Would definitely recommend !

An amazing meal out with the family. They managed to cater for a group of 20 extremely well. The food all came out together, it was all nice and hot and they were very efficient! Food is extremely affordable as well as tasty and the Mocktails were delicious. I also loved the atmosphere in there, the Quran playing in the background was beautiful! I would definitely recommend going, just don’t forget to take cash!

Allahumdulliah the best place so far in Birmingham, we came all the way from London.The service is fantastic, the amount of foods for 6 peoples was more than enough a family platter consist of 2 grill chickens, sharwarma, chips,nan, lamp chop for only £40. May Allah swt bring barakat in your business and thanks for looking after us while we're there. Jazaak Allah Kheiran.

My go to place for many years now, lovely brothers serving amazing quality food, nice to have food at a restaurant that isn’t playing capital fm, 100% family friendly would highly recommend to anyone and everyone who asks for a food spot in Birmingham.

Went here with the family after a evening out and found it exceptionally good takes a lot to please me food was 10/10 service was excellent went above and beyond for us food was amazing had the family platter which was lovely keep up the good work grillz your doing a amazing job.

Brilliant place to eat on Ladypool road. I went on a Monday evening and it was fairly quiet. The service and atmosphere was brilliant. I ordered the signature lamb donner with naan and chips and it was really tasty. I would definitely recommend as a restaurant for family and with friends

clicking on the buy one get one free offer adds 2 items to the basket at full price so I reduced my basket to one as its a bogof offer, but requested in notes to have one as naga spice levels and the other ordinary, low and behold only received one item for nearly 16 quid is absolutely absurd, for a former restaurant owner serving the very end of the kebab where the cardboard touches the meat leaves a funny taste and shows poor quality control of food served, you can count me as a customer lost and will not be returning. may this serve as a warning to other customers too.

Lovely chicken parmesan, best I've had yet. This dish is highly recommended.

Came quite late at night and still everything was amazing. Was almost closing time yet the staff were extremely welcoming. Seated and ordered, when food came out barely 5 minutes later, considering we ordered a lot. Food tasted amazing, and the value was amazing for a family of 4. If I don't come again, then I'm dead!

Arrived at the restaurant, very nice and chilled atmosphere especially for families. Privacy available on request which was great. Food was great aswell as the service. A defo recommended place to visit

Turned up really late, around 11pm on a Saturday with three others. Was served with a smile, food absolutely on point and served so quickly. Met the owner, what an amazing guy. Well done. Hope this place makes you millions as you deserve it for your standard of food, positive attitude towards your customers and focus towards your business. Definitely recommending to everyone.

What a great experience ladypool road grills turned out to be. Food was exquisite and the service was excellent. Atmosphere was beautiful and they had a prayer room. The waiter who served us had the same name as me and he made me feel at home and comfortable. I will 100% return here as the service I received today was out of this world 💯. And to top it all off the boss took care of us and made sure everything was on point and up to the standard of a 5* Michelin restaurant. Thank you boys for taking care of me and my family today🔥💯

Not impressed with their service towards me! I ordered a buy one get one free peri chicken meal! They only delivered only one peri chicken! I called them to explain what happened... The manager was extremely dismissive and said "call Uber we can't do anything". Is this how they treat customers? They mess up and they do not want to accept responsibility

Bad treatment from the boss, he talks to you arrogantly and delays the food to the point that you get nervous from waiting and leave your order or receive it

Visited the restaurant with family. Nice, clean restaurant with most of the food at a decent standard. The mixed platter and gourmet burger were the best meals ordered. However, the biryani rice was overcooked and burnt in places. Mocktails were poor and waiters were not very friendly.

Ordered from here a few times but the order they always get it wrong drink was also hot and ordered the lamb pasta but it was actually donner meat waste of money

Grillz is always been that restaurant to go to for special occasion in my family, their food is always great (Taste wise, Portions wise they could do better), staffs are friendly and knows what they are doing. Have prayer room which is a big plus, its better to reserve a table if you are taking more than 4 people. Also they don’t accept card payments and we all know why 🤷🏻‍♂️, there is cash right around the corner by Slams burger though. Other than this is a great place to eat.

I had the mix tawa for 2. Some of the items on there were good, however, the chicken bhuna was definitely off. As a result, this has led to food poisoning. For that reason, I will not be visiting again.

Just had a really lovely meal with my family at Grillz. We ordered the kebabish tawa and mango lassi. The food was fresh and very tasty. The flavours were on point and spiced, but not too spicy. Something a lot of desi restaurants go way too heavy on. This worked great for my kids since we prefer to feed them whatever we are having than to give them something boring from the kids menu. They loved the “red chicken” and of course the chips. Which, by the way were crispy and piping hot. The naan was along with everything else was, fresh, crispy, buttery and delicious. An unexpected favourite on the tawa was their kebabish dish, so flavourful and saucy. The chops were also really great, lovely marinade. The mango lassi was velvety smooth, not too sweet and really quite refreshing. Last point I’d like to make is that I really love and respect that there was Quran playing in the restaurant. Made for a really relaxed meal (once the kids stopped being so hangry).

They don't accept card payments only cash and their dessert menu was very limited apart from that the food was good.

I came down today with my family for the first time and we had the best experience. The food was great and the service was superb 👌🏻. I want to say a big thank you to Magd and haseeb. Will be back soon guys.

Excellent food and service is quick. Mixed Kebab with naan is brilliant. Lamb chops are definitely worth trying.

Update: somehow the parmesan and the wings are even better now. Untouchable with the parmesan Chicken platter was very good overall - excellent wings, flavoursome and juicy chicken thigh. One of the best peri peri chickens. The chicken parmesan is brilliant! For those who need to pray, they have spacious separate prayer rooms for brothers and sisters with a separate fully featured wudhu room. No loud music either. They also screens for family seating. Would highly recommend this place.

Paid for a tawa for 2 and the food wasn't even hot an especially the Seekh kebabs looked old and had an bad smell coming from it but when I complained about it to the waiter he took it back in the kitchen only to come back to us saying it's fresh....so much for customer service. With only 1 couple in the restaurant says it all even when I paid my bill I was asked if the food was good I gave my honest opinion but even then the customers are in a no win situation. Avoid at all cost.....made a big mistake coming here.

Alamin gave us the greatest service today, was extremely kind and patient with us. Food was great as always, and the service just makes the whole experience even better.

We ordered the kebabish, lamb and chicken. We were asked how spicy we wanted it and requested hot. However, when it arrived we realised it had naga peppers in it which it didn’t say on the menu. We had to return them for the medium spice instead but even that was too hot. So for anyone who visits, please keep this in mind. Ismail and Hasib’s customer service was really good, so would recommend this place.

Went to grills for dinner today was servers by the wonderful Hasib who was delightful to have as a waiter me and my friend both ordered chicken steak which was 10 out of 10 the sizzler plate was sizzling for about 5 minutes and the chicken steak was made to perfection thanks to all at grills From Katy and Aminah

Quality of the food was very disappointing. Chicken Parmesan was like chip shop level and the chicken shashlik had a few pcs of chicken and a whole onion and tomato. Genuinely expected better, would not order again
