Food came too quick the chicken was mega salty and undercooked my orders in the past have always been bang on well flavoured and cooked throughly but this time it was rushed I feel so did not enjoy it

Food was ready too early I ordered extreme hot but was not spicy and saucy at all didn’t really enjoyed it

Food was not hot .. had ordered a couple of times before and it was perfect ..also the peri flavour chicken tasted different , may be that have changed the recipe ! Unfortunately wasn’t great, it was the best peri I had tasted but not this time

The staff and service was amazing didn’t catch the managers name but he’s amazing and sorted my issue out immediately, food arrived quickly hot and was great highly recommend

By far the best grilled chicken shop in Birmingham, better than Pepes, Merigos. Food was received piping hot and flavour was amazing. Chicken was sauced properly unlike most grilled chicken shops. Can’t recommend this place highly enough. Staff were friendly and the store was extremely clean.

I recently visited Rios Sheldon, and I must say, I was genuinely impressed. The food was fresh, flavourful, and exactly what you’d expect from a well-run Piri Piri Shop. I ordered A ‘Mighty Kofta and the kids had some burgers too, and it was prepared perfectly hot, tasty, and served quickly. The staff were friendly, professional, and clearly working hard to keep the place running smoothly despite how busy it was. It’s clear this is a fast-food place that values its customers and puts effort into delivering quality. Now, I also noticed some of the reviews this place has received, and honestly, they’re laughable. It seems some people go out of their way to complain about trivial issues or post unreasonably harsh feedback. Let’s be real, this place delivers exactly what it promises: great food, fast service, and a clean, welcoming environment. To those writing negative reviews for minor issues, maybe take a moment to reflect on your harsh and laughable reviews. We live in a world where we can’t wait to put a bad review just because we had a small issue – when you say staff are rude (I have never experienced that at Rios Sheldon) – how good is your attitude towards the staff in the first place – we treat workers like ‘dirt’ and then expect flowers in return – bloody hypocrites. We leave food and trays/plates on table and expect the staff to clean as if you are dining in a top restaurant – if a person doesn’t have the decency to pick up his/her rubbish and put that in the bin – one thinks, how do you eat at home then? This team works hard, and they deserve credit for the effort they put in. I’ll definitely be coming back. Keep up the great work, Rios Sheldon! and 'Thankyou' for being nice and welcoming to my children.

I order full plater and one chicken rice and the full plater is missing I receved only the chicken rice this is horrible

A restaurant with some of the rudest and most arrogant staff I've ever come across. The level of hygiene within the place is nauseating. *UPDATE TO OWNERS RESPONSE* Hi, I'm not sure if you had Columbo or Inspector Closeau investigating this matter but let me help lay out some facts for your benefit. - Correct we had to have the tables cleaned a number of times because after each pathetic attempt they were still DIRTY with stains on. - The WC was in an absolutely disgusting state to begin with. I'm baffled how we were supposed to have flooded it given they were out of order. If you're going to fabricate claims at least make it plausible. - the shop floor had bones and food underneath our table as we entered which was not cleaned. The only spillage we had was a little bit of rice on the table. - It may be helpful to give you some context as to why the male lead approached your staff - who I presume is your shift manager. Throughout the entire evening his behaviour towards my family was obnoxious which we let slide. However the final straw was when the males left the restaurant he made a snide remark to one of the females in our group. This led to the need to speak and hold him to account for his despicable behaviour. - as for the need for intervention from other staff members, you may want to ask your investigator whether this was to calm us down or the shift manager himself who squared up to us and said I quote "come and speak to me alone". Another prime example of the wonderful service to be offered at your venue....a punch up to go with insulting behaviour. I would recommend you read through the consistent feedback your establishment has received in respect of poor customer service. Your response to them come across as either you're entirely delusional, creative with the truth or in complete denial. Some may even say arrogant and rude.

The food was great when it first opened but standards have fallen very hard, the food tastes disgusting now. 🤮🤮🤮🤮

Food poisoning! Ordered in store for takeaway last night, usually enjoy meals from here but will not be coming back. My partner has been throwing up and all symptoms from food poisoning since eating last night. It was the only food he ate yesterday so we know it’s come from here. He had the spicy Classico chicken burger, I had loaded fries, I’m fine though.

Fried Burger was really nice but the chicken strips were really dry

We have food poisoning off the chicken strips and chicken rice box. The only food we ate both very unwell. Will be informing food standing to investigate. Avoid or take the risk.

The mango and lime sauce is soooo disgusting it literally smells like someone threw up in the bag, i had to throw it away The other food items on the menu are great just do not order mango and lime sauce

Food is always fresh and order is followed to the T. Service is brilliant too. Since Rios has opened it is our first choice when we order out.

Service is very very poor,food was all burnt and they were so slow i had to wait so long to get order and the staff were slow like a snail. Rubbish service and rubbish food i wish i could give _star .they charged me money gave me burnt food and then when i showed them that its burnt they was rude and refused to do anything about it we had to leave the food on the table and not even get our money back or the fresh food.

Ordered legs and thigh pcs in the platter as we aren't keen on breast or wings pcs, as I appreciate probably not every piece would be legs or thighs, but every single one was breast, I called and spoke to a lady who was quite rude and told me that was all they had and didn't want to waste it, so just sent it anyway without even calling us, so it's OK for the customer to waste the food because they are paying obviously, won't be ordering again. and your chips are rubbish not like they used to be.

Only criticism is the rice has been under cooked last two times. Other than that rest is lovely.

We have ordered three times now so that goes without saying the food was great all eaten nothing wasted. The delivery driver was polite and courteous.

Most rubbish service ever!. MY sister accidently called this place to order some food, not realising it's not the right branch. They answered with only "Hello Rios". After reaching the right branch we realised we'd ordered at the wrong branch. My sister called up the wrong branch just to let them know. Instead the man was being rude and he was like "it's impossible to order at the wrong branch, it's not about the sorry, now the foods gone to waste, I'm giving you a chance to come and collect it". Wonder where they learn their manners and respect or training if they even get any!

Staff especially one with the blue faxe mask was picking thw salad with hwr hands wheni asked have you got salad pickers she said yes she has but ots quicker with hands amd she didnt like i qiestioned her typical pakistani attitude the reason why i questioned she was scratching her crutch

Simple mild chicken ordered came spiced to thr hills and the chicken wings are undescribed as spicy but again fires and then some. First and last time ordering from this establishment.

Last week I ordered a classic GIANT chicken fillet burger with hash brown salsa cheese mayo and lettuce I paid 7.99 for it and when it came it wasn't what I ordered. They had sent me a normal chicken fillet burger so this time I thought I'd order the same thing and low and behold they sent the wrong burger again. I expect to recive what I'm ordering and what I have payed for. If the people in the shop can't get their job right they shouldn't be working there. I will be taking the burger back to the shop and will not be ordering from here again

Fried chicken was lovely but the fillet on the chicken burger was so overcooked, it was chewy.

Food is lovely a little lemony, but was really nice. However, the girl that served me was so miserable when it came to serve me she just stared at me she did not even speak no hello, thank you nothing, the black top she was wearing had white hairs on it not sure if it was from her jacket or a cat. At rios management please get her to be a little hygienic i have attached a pic of the person incase you think I've made it up, your food is top tier but she is very off putting.

Well the cost of living has just hit Rio's well-done your prices are more dear than luton prices for that matter please increase your prices further as when you lose your loyal customers, your prices will come down, wow London prices are cheaper, You have just lost a customer, and prices have dropped nationally how is this justified in the realms of Sheldon,

The quality of the food and service is exceptional. The flavors of the dishes are incredibly delicious, and merely thinking about them makes my mouth water. The service provided is outstanding. I highly recommend their 100% beef burgers. Enjoy your meal!

Very poor service by the manager and some unnamed lady i called in for delivery and the manager was on the other side of the phone he took my order and he didnt take my address and i said to him that dont you want to take my address he ignored it and just asked for my name and number and he goes “it will be about 15 to 20 mintues” he didnt mention anything about that collection 1 hour later i called in asking for my order and some lady was at the other side of the phone i asked her its been 1 hour she asked for my delivery address and she goes “the delivery drivers out with your order and should be there with you in 5 to 10 minutes” then 20 mins later i called in asking where is my order and there blaming it on me that i didnt say it needs to be delivery when i clearly said “don't you wanna take my address” very poor service by rios today even tho they never let us down before but this time they sadly have.

Great Taste. Top Quality. Service overall okay but had to ask two times for tissue and straws. Their special Rio drink is a must try. Milkshake was good. Burger was also great.

Mixed the spices up! Labelled as lemon and herb but was very spicy, the hot was fine but the Mild and Lemon and Herb was mixed up in opposite boxes.

Burger was dry at no point was it mentioned there was no salad in it or mayo. Staff seemed to have a chip on there shoulder, never again. Better off with a morrisons meal deal. Shame.

Been multiple times to this shop food is always amazing can never fault it, yet recently my last few visits the staff were very loud and noisy shouting at one another using profanity. Although the shop is great when it comes to food quality the staff let it down sometimes should maintain a professional standard and have your conversations a bit quietly and certainly without shouting and swearing at one another
